Experts Are Predicting Famine

219.01Comment: Experts are actively predicting an impending global famine. 2021 was a terrible year because the pandemic caused the number of hungry people in the world to grow by 25%. The year 2022 promises to be even worse as a consequence of war. A triple crisis is therefore expected: food, energy, and finances. As a result, they say 2023 will be the most terrible. Experts write about it, but somehow we do not hear it. It is almost as if we do not care.

My Response: What can we do?

Comment: Be scared at least. Stock up, fill the barns with food.

My Response: I think that is pointless. A famine is not happening for us to fill our store rooms, barns, drawers in the kitchen, etc. But we need to understand how we can realistically ensure abundance in the world.

Question: So all these messages come to us specifically to reach this conclusion?

Answer: Of course. How will we handle this? If we are talking about the world, then we need to try to understand the world economy, the state of the world.

Comment: I can barely understand what is happening in my home, my home economics.

My Response: You cannot escape this! They are talking about years and not that you will be short of some beverages over the next month.

Question: You say “to understand the world economy.” Who are you calling out to, the big economists or every person?

Answer: To the people, absolutely, definitively, straight to the people.

Question: So what should I understand when I constantly see reports of an impending famine?

Answer: They are right; the world is in danger of famine. A prolonged period of famine! Lingering famine!

Up to a point that the Bible tells us that mothers will eat their babies, their children. That is how severe it will be, it will reduce us to the level of animals.

Question: When I hear this, what should I do? Why do I need all this? Why am I told all this?

Answer: For you to seriously concern yourself with how to avoid this famine and what is causing it. Then you will see that its only cause is our terrible human imbalance and the fact that we are not doing what we should.

We must reach a mutual understanding among us. We need to establish ties among us that would help reach balance. But we are NOT doing it. On the contrary, we are regressing—we want to rock the boat we are all in. So, the world is naturally heading toward periods of famine, destruction, and so on.

Question: Is it in one’s power to hear this and change the trajectory, to suddenly stop it?

Answer: They can hear it, but they cannot alter it. They cannot change it because to hear it and to accept such an eventuality is one thing. Let atomic bombs and everything else fall from the sky. So what? “If we die, it is in an instant.”

Question: If you say, “I can hear it, but I cannot stop it,” then what is all this for? Why?

Answer: To really frighten us so that we still change ourselves and thereby change the world. That is the only reason for it.

Question: How does this change occur? What is the catalyst? Is it some leader that will appear? Is it humanity that starts screaming?

Answer: There should be a leader. It is hard to make it work in our world without one. It should be someone the world would accept as their leader and follow, someone who would talk about unification and how we can overcome this period of famine. Naturally, this only works if people listen to him. The hunger will likely force them to.

Question: You still believe the famine will happen and force them to listen?

Answer: Undoubtedly! It will, but it will pass.

He will lead humanity to the fact that after this induced hunger people will be different. They will have a different attitude to life, to its values. They will understand that the most important thing is to survive and will understand what to survive for! This is the most important question.

Question: Even in the Torah, it is written: “Hunger forced us to descend into Egypt.” And there was famine. Later, there were many famines, forced hunger strikes, wars, and so on and on. It has led humanity to nothing; humanity has not learned anything.

Why do you think that now we come to some understanding and hear something, then something will change? What kind of times are we living in?

Answer: It is the period of preparation for the recognition of evil. We are preparing to attain evil.

Question: Couldn’t we do this before?

Answer: No! Even now, we are not there yet, but we are gradually approaching it. It takes enormous suffering to sense evil, to define it, to attain it, and draw conclusions from it.

Question: And you feel this is the time?

Answer: Not yet, but it is getting closer.

Question: So what conclusions do you draw about us being at such crossroads? We were not there before, but now you tell us we are here. What are the signs?

Answer: Well, we are speaking in the right way. We no longer hide behind all sorts of slogans, we no longer believe in abstract values. We have already thrown it all away. We are only interested in one thing—is there a meaning to life or not? If not, let’s assume there is not, then how can we live this life on the animal level the right way.

Question: Do you feel we have come to this today?

Answer: We have, yes.

The United Body of Humanity

510.01Comment: Today there is only a very thin layer of people who feel, understand, and think about the meaning of life.

My Response: And the rest do not desire to do this and instead exist automatically. Ninety percent of people on earth do not know why and how they live at all and they just feed and reproduce offsprings. Only a small portion of people live with questions about the meaning of life and understand the why, how, and what in regards to the nature of their existence. There are very few of them, a couple of million on Earth.

But everyone should be corrected because we represent a huge single body in which there is flesh, various organs, and a small brain, and in the brain resides a small ball that controls everything, a kind of microprocessor. There is nothing else. Everything else is the body as subordinate to it.

That’s how everyone else is. They should just realize that there is no other way and that they need to listen to this little brain: “I want to listen to it, I have to! I want to cling to it, join it, grab hold of it, and thus ensure a good life for myself.” That is all. They are at such an animal level that they need no more than that.

And only the ones that can realize, understand, and absorb the whole picture of creation and all its greatness, scheme, and system are the conduits of light into our world for all the less fortunate people.

These special ones do not live for themselves, but for the whole of humanity. And the whole of humanity exists for each other through the reception of light from above from a small brain system that enables us to live mutually harmoniously even without understanding or realizing all the enormous work that is being done in connection between everyone—in one common soul.

As a result, we will all come to complete correction and will gradually rise to the next degree of the feeling of the universe.

If We Want to Live like Humans

962.3In order to reach adhesion with the Creator, we need a strong desire, which we do not have. Desires are revealed from the entirety of the shattered souls, and therefore, they cannot be strong because everything is fractured. Therefore, some small particle from the common soul awakens here and there thanks to which a person awakens.

This general awakening is caused by the surrounding light that is waiting for us to create a place for it where it can really be revealed. Due to this surrounding light, we find ourselves connected to each other and receive the opportunity to gather into a group and study Kabbalah. All this is in order to increase our desires.

After all, our desires are very small and they are also not directed correctly. We do not know where we exist and for what purpose. It is like a small child who does not know where he is, hut has parents who know exactly what is happening to him and what needs to be done with him, and how to take care of him so that he grows up healthy.

Therefore, if we want to grow spiritually, we are brought to a group and taken through all kinds of states. By establishing correct relationships in the group, we aim ourselves in the right direction and thus advance.

Besides, we are at such an advanced stage of development that it ceases to be individual. That is, we are entering the era of what is called the last generation when all of humanity has to awaken. Today, an awakening of a small group or individual Kabbalists is no longer enough like it was in previous generations.

We must understand that we all belong to the same desire of Adam HaRishon, and we need to come closer and to become incorporated in it. Then we will see that the Creator helps us in more tangible way.

It is not by chance that such great hatred is being revealed in the world today, and it is flaring up more and more day by day. It would seem that this is absolutely not compatible with the high level of development of humanity, which should have already stopped all wars and be concerned with more exalted things.

But it will turn out the opposite. We will forget about space flights and high matters. If we do not start working on our connection, we will feel how humanity is sinking lower and lower every day and being immersed in sordid affairs. After all, the main thing we need to do is to connect everyone to the system of Adam HaRishon. If humanity learns about this method and understands why they were mistaken and were getting into difficult situations all the time, then they will come closer to correction in this way.

It is amazing that the further humanity advances in engineering, high tech, science, culture, and education, making such progress as if it can already reach the stars, at the same time, our life on planet Earth will become more and more miserable, appalling, and gloomy. We will look like bugs crawling in manure.

After all, if we do not advance toward connection, then all our other achievements will turn to our detriment and beat us. They will not allow us to develop correctly, and our life will be getting worse and worse.

However, the correction of egoism is impossible by simply overcoming it. We must connect above our egoism. That is, it is already useless today to fight against our egoism, like in previous generations when each person was developing individually.

In our time, there is only one way to defeat egoism: together, collectively. This field of connection, love, mutual care, and guarantee that we establish between us should save us and bring us to a new state. Otherwise, we will not succeed.

What is the Lack of a Goal Leading us to?

198The question about the purpose of life begins to subconsciously awaken in us even though a person does not ask himself openly. He is constantly trying to bury this question so it would not pop up like a snake. And what is left for the person to do? He is fighting against ecological violations, for gays’ rights, for transsexuals’ rights, for other things.

Yet, if we are to show a person that there is a goal given to us from above rather than being invented by us and that it is coming from the upper force rather than from our low egoism, then it will be possible to lead people in a completely different direction—toward unity instead of division.

Egoism is a narrow space and it cannot embrace the whole world. Then what is it against and what is it for? It has to make itself concrete in a certain framework; it is us and that is all.

Therefore, we are very quickly moving toward either good or bad things in the world. Countries will start to unite between themselves, these against those, and those against these and so forth. It will be a big mess.

Reaching the Breaking Point

400Comment: According to some statistics i saw, around 30,000 Americans, 25,000 Japanese and 70,000 Russians commit suicide every year and some sociologists say these numbers are understated by nearly half.

My Response: This is a consequence of the breakage of our human society.

The essence of man is the desire to enjoy. We want all the best for ourselves, to be warm, comfortable, safe, happy, but instead we constantly face negative feelings.

A person is brought to such a state where he is forced to ask: “What is the meaning of my life? Why do I need it? In fact, there is nothing to look forward to. I am awaiting cataclysms every day and reassuring myself that not only I but everyone will be affected doesn’t in fact make it better.”

A person can be morally and logically brought to a state where he wants to take his own life here and now. Why suffer?

If the whole of life consists of somehow maintaining my existence that constantly brings me pain and suffering, then only the instinct of self-preservation keeps me from not putting an end to it. But this instinct is not that strong. It can be easily neutralized and we see this happening. Largely, it depends on society.

For example, the Japanese have long held death in high esteem. They built it almost into a cult. Americans have another problem—drugs.

Comment: Today, the US is one of the global leaders in the growth rate of depression.

My Response: Naturally, because they are the most developed. This is the future of all mankind. But there is a way out of this and it is a very simple one.

Kabbalah says that people will nearly reach a state of looking forward to death. In this very state will the breaking point occur.
They will begin to realize that they have brought themselves out of balance with nature with their inner qualities and with how they relate to each other, that they must do something about it: “Instead of nature, we are to blame for this. We can’t expect any changes from it. We have acted in a way that caused it to become hostile toward us. This must be radically changed.”

Then they will reveal the methodology of changing themselves, achieving balance, happiness, and harmony; moreover, not only harmony at our level, but at the same time and through the merging of two worlds, the spiritual and ours, people will begin to feel immortal.

Japan – Charter of Life

434Question: Japan is one of the most developed countries in terms of the pace of technology and computerization. They developed so quickly in relation to other peoples that there were even theories about an extraterrestrial origin of this civilization. Why did this happen?

Answer: I think it is precisely because they were not hindered by the previous stages of development. They jumped from the ancient natural way of life to a new way of life. They did not need to process this information and all sorts of changes. They just went from one state to another.

Their worldview, perception of the world, inner steadfastness, and inner attitude that a person can suffer, sacrifice himself, must rise above himself, and that those who do not think about themselves are respected, all these external motives and their religion helps them. To this can be added their distance from the whole world, the feeling of living on an island.

I was in Japan and felt it very strongly although I visited it in the 21st century after they had achieved all the technological innovations. But it still felt like you were in another world.

Of course, this is not an extraterrestrial civilization. It’s just the character of people who developed together with the belief that a person should rise up, go deep into himself, and unite with nature.

Nature itself forces them to be closer to it because of constant earthquakes, tsunamis, and all kinds of problems; all this has made them.

Moreover, their serious rules of life are still very strong in society. The usual human egoism is hidden inside naturally anyway. But it was in a preliminary state of its development, not fiercely egoistic like it was after the Greek, Roman, and Western civilizations in our world.

The combination of underdeveloped egoism with its suppression, along with a huge methodology of external conventions, led them to a state where they received such a system of relationships, such instructions, and such rigid principles from childhood that they did not even have any opportunities to change their paradigm.

We see that the isolation of this people, their religion, and the corresponding family and social charters have led them to become like this. But it collapses very quickly.

Humanity’s Development under the Influence of Spiritual Energy

214Question: You said that all suffering is brought into the world not by the quality of receiving, but by the quality of bestowal, the quality of the Creator. What does this mean?

Answer: If the Creator did not interfere with us, we would simply live without developing. When the quality of bestowal comes into our world, it begins to constantly spur us on. It is because of it that the quality of receiving grows in us.

Without this, we would remain animals and everything would be fine. But since the Creator wants to draw us closer to Him so we become like Him, He always sends us an illumination that develops us.

As the dough rises because of yeast, so do we constantly grow in our egoism under the influence of external spiritual energy, more and more, until we break out of this pan like dough. Then we begin to brew, like it is happening now when we do not know what we are living for or what to do with ourselves next.

Thus, the upper light, the quality of bestowal, brings almost all suffering into our world. On the one hand, the Creator created evil in the world. On the other hand, even this evil, which is us egoists, He does not leave alone, He constantly develops us to greater and greater evil until we realize it and want to break free of it at all costs.

I hope this will happen in our time because today we can already teach and spread Kabbalah everywhere, we can tell everyone about globalism, about the universal connection between us, about the need to unite, to overcome egoism, and to rise above it, which is something that we had no right to do in prior generations because we had not yet revealed the global nature.

Today, we can already hope that our next steps will be conscious and therefore sweetened by us. We will feel all further development is correct, convenient, and successful, and we will participate in it voluntarily and will prevent undesirable events. That is, we will keep developing but not under the influence of blows.

Is it Possible to Do without Egyptian Plagues?

962.2Question: The world today resembles people that are in Egyptian exile. And what is happening today is similar to the Egyptian plagues. Because the Torah is the source of all religions and all spiritual practices, please comment on a very universal quote from the Torah that refers to the world as a nation.

It is written: The Torah, Exodus, 3:17 “And I said, ‘I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt, to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivvites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.’”

The word “you” implies the world. What does this mean?

Answer: That the Creator will lead us out from under the control of our common egoism, which, in principle, He created and supports in order to show us the real exit to a kind, mutual, correct existence. This is our immediate good future.

Question: It means that we are under the control of egoism. Is this the Egyptian slavery?

Answer: Yes, all of humanity is in it.

Question: Is it only the Creator who can bring us out of this state?

Answer: The same force that created the negative force inverts itself and turns into a positive one. That is, the force that drove us there will also lead us out.

Question: Further, it is written about the process: The Torah, Exodus, 3:19: “However, I know that the king of Egypt will not permit you to go, except through a mighty hand.”

What does it mean for our world today?

Answer: If we do not put pressure on the egoism that the Creator created and supports in us, if we do not apply even greater force to it that will force egoism to begin to change, to retreat, then this will never happen. The Creator holds it. It means that the Creator must defeat and overcome Himself. This is how we get out from under the control of egoism.

The fact that we are suffering now, that the world is suffering, is the natural state of the world that it must go through in order to clearly assess what is good and what is bad.

Question: Is this what the Creator is doing to us?

Answer: Yes. We should read the story “The Little Son Came to His Father” in our childhood and actualize this study within ourselves.

At the moment, he feels that he is a tiny toddler and that he has to figure out how to live. Therefore, he asks his father: “What is good and what is bad? I do not know where I am. I take every step and it seems to me that it is good, but it turns out to be bad.” And he receives an explanation.

Question: And his father explains to him that the king of Egypt will not let him leave. But I will make him do it with a mighty hand.

Who is the mighty hand aimed at: the king of Egypt or me?

Answer: The mighty hand is aimed at the king of Egypt that is within you, at the egoism that is within you so that you want the good force of nature to conquer the evil force of nature. All of this is only within us.

Comment: Then there is this sentence: The Torah, Exodus, 3:20: “And I will stretch forth My hand and smite the Egyptians with all My miracles that I will wreak in their midst, and afterwards he will send you out.”

My Response: All the evil that exists in egoism should be revealed and a person should see it, sense it, feel it, in the present and in the possible future. Then he will see how the Creator changes it all to the opposite, and by this a person praises the Creator.

We are talking about the ten plagues that tear a person away from his egoism. These are the ten qualities we call Sefirot, from which we break away.

Question: Can we break away without plagues?

Answer: If you yourself will want to break away without them, then you can.

Question: Will I be able to want it?

Answer: To do this, you need to engage in self-education; that is, convince yourself that even the little evil that is now revealed in you is revealed in you relative to others, and you must do everything in order to hate these qualities in you. Then you will gradually distance yourself from them, up to complete separation.

Question: Who are Moses and his brother Aaron to the world? What is this?

Answer: These are two forces that lead us out of the state of egoism into the quality of connection and love between us and between us and the Creator.

Question: How do they appear in a person? At what point?

Answer: A person begins to extract them out of himself. They exist within him. In general, everything exists within a person. A person is a small world. The only problem is that we need to tune in so as to find these forces in ourselves, extract them, start working with them, and treat everything around us in this way through these two qualities.

Then the world changes. If I look at the world through them, it becomes different.

Question: Moses and Aaron come to Pharaoh. The Creator told them: “Go,” and they went. They say: “Let my people go.” And Pharaoh said: “Who is the Lord that I should heed His voice to let Israel out?” What is this?

Answer: People is a person with all his qualities. A person should get out from under the control of egoism under another control. This is called “let my people go.”

And the Pharaoh answers: “And who is this God?” because Pharaoh as if does not know that for certain. Pharaoh’s task is to trick a person so that he does not understand at all where he is. So that later he could clearly determine what is the Pharaoh, the Creator, Egypt, and outside of Egypt.

Pharaoh is our egoism that says: “I do not want to know any Creator. I do not know Him.” Because “to know” means to understand and obey.

Question: Will egoism always resist nature, the Creator?

Answer: Absolutely! We can never exit our nature while remaining in it. One contradicts the other.

Question: Pharaoh’s reaction to the request of Moses and Aaron to let the people go was simple. Pharaoh said, Exodus, 5:9: “Let the labor fall heavy upon the men”—upon the ones they want to lead out of egoism, upon these desires—“and let them work at it, and let them not talk about false matters.”

All this is empty speech for the Pharaoh. He is as if taking revenge; he says: “Do you want to lead the people out? We are going to burden them with work now.”

Can we compare this with the fact that in our world we are currently overwhelmed with work?

Answer: What does it matter whether they want or do not want? They only prolong their suffering by this. What else can be done? Piling even more work on them is what the Pharaoh does. Lock them up in some petty worries. Lock them up in such social, family, and other states that they will be just like little bugs.

Question: So these worries and problems that exist in the world now, the crazy amount of news, is this the empty work that is piled on us? Will all our actions at the level of this earth lead to nothing?

Answer: I think people already understand this. And in addition to this, there are wars, sufferings, fears, and anxieties.

Question: Is it in order to take us away from all this useless work?

Answer: Yes. It is such a state that a person is just like a bunny sitting under a burdock and shaking. This is such a pitiful state for such a great, potential being as human.

Question: Do you think a person is already beginning to understand this?

Answer: He already hears it in some things. He does not know how to exit this state, but he understands that “yes, this is me, this is us.” And what is next? He cannot see what is next.

If he had at least a tiny bit, a little bit of some small vision ahead, if he were able to see through a crack that there is still an opportunity, then, of course, he would have strength. Not in himself alone but in the unity between them. This is what needs to be revealed here! After all, people are right: “Where did we come from, what are we, and where are we going? Nothing. Everyone is for himself.”

Question: Yet, you are saying that the whole secret is in connection. Can you reveal this to us?

Answer: It is impossible to get out of this state we are in now. We will continue to turn sour in it until it as if cements us in the pyramids of Pharaoh.

This is what Pharaoh wants from us. So that we voluntarily agree to enter together with him into this huge tomb and lie down there nicely, the way they lie there. And so continues our eternal path in egoism. Without changing—like those mummies.

But if we go on the path of connection and unification, then we will be able to break this strong egoistic cloak that covers us, encloses us, shuts all our senses, and we will be able to rush out of there and escape.

Question: Is this what humanity is now facing? Are we, as if, under this “cloak”?

Answer: Yes, and we will definitely come out of it. We will definitely come out.

Comment: Then it is written: The Torah, Exodus, 5:22-5:23: “So Moses returned to the Lord and said, ‘O Lord! Why have You harmed this people? Why have You sent me? Since I have come to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has harmed this people, and You have not saved Your people’”

My Response: A person does not understand what else he needs to do in order to exit the egoistic state. But for Pharaoh, this desire of a person to exit egoism is not enough. He needs an extra, additional great desire. So that a person will turn to him. And not with reproach but with a plea that the Creator would go ahead of them and lead them all out of Egypt by hand. This is what is still missing.

Therefore, the Creator sends Moses back. He says: “You go and ask.” And ten times back and forth in this way until Moses already feels that this is it, all forces, all intentions, and all possibilities have dried out and only then do they succeed in escaping Egypt.

Question: Is it when the last, tenth plague comes that Pharaoh says: “You can exit”?

Answer: Yes.

Question: The last plague is the death of the firstborn. What is it from the Kabbalistic point of view?

Answer: It is the condition that man had when he existed in the world even before all these revelations. That I exist in an egoistic world, I am in it, I am under the control of the upper force. This is how I develop and live.

The death of the firstborn means that I tear off all my original, primary egoistic foundations and break away from everything that connected me with the past.

Question: Why is it so scary for Pharaoh?

Answer: Because the connection with him, with Pharaoh, is really getting torn. That is it, a person refuses to be under his control and to be connected with him. A person is ready to rise above himself no matter what! Whatever happens, just not to be under the control of Pharaoh!

Only then Pharaoh lets the person go. This is what he exists for, to bring a person to such a state.

At the moment when this thought, this desire, “Come what may, no matter what, just not with Pharaoh, not under him,” appears in a person, then everything happens. This is called the “death of the firstborn,” i.e., of the entire basis of a person’s egoistic existence.

Question: Does humanity need to reach such a cry, such a scream, such a state? Is it only possible then to escape from the control of egoism?

Answer: Of course.

Question: Is it possible for every person to come to such a state?

Answer: For every person, according to his measure. It will happen.

Firstborn—The Next State Of Man

We Are Worse Than Primates

963.1In the News (BBC): It was March 2020, and caseloads of a novel and dangerous coronavirus were rising quickly here in the UK. Our Prime Minister was about to announce a lockdown. Schools and nurseries were going to close. Like millions of other parents, I was about to become my young children’s de facto school teacher. The idea filled me with dread. …

“Over the months that followed, many parents felt a crushing toll on their mental and physical health. More lockdowns and school closures ensued, along with reports of a worrying increase in levels of parental stress, anxiety and depression. Many asked themselves why this was so hard. Shouldn’t we be naturally good at raising our young without outside help? Didn’t humans cope without schools and daycare in the past, after all?

“As an evolutionary biologist, I do not hold the answers to all pandemic-related family crises, but I can say one thing for certain: as a species, humans are spectacularly ill-equipped to deal with parenting in isolation.

“From an evolutionary perspective, it is not surprising that many of us felt so overwhelmed. Despite the common idea that modern family life consists of small, independent units, the reality is that we would often benefit from help from others to raise our offspring. For much of human history, extended families provided that help. In contemporary industrialised societies, where smaller family units are common, teachers, babysitters and other caregivers have allowed us to replicate that ancient support network.

“This collaborative way of raising children makes us unique among great apes. Called ‘cooperative breeding’, it is more similar to how seemingly more distant species like meerkats and even ants and bees live – and it has given us crucial evolutionary advantages.”

“Cooperatively breeding species live in large family groups where individuals work together to raise offspring. Perhaps surprisingly, other apes, such as chimpanzees, do not parent that way. Although humans and chimpanzees both live in complex social groups, comprising kin and non-relatives, a closer inspection reveals some stark differences. Chimp mothers raise their infants alone, with little or no assistance from anyone else, not even the father.”

Question: We cannot do without the support of others; we are ants, collective creatures. That is what biologists say. Do you think this is our weakness?

Answer: In general, our individualistic egoism will not allow us to properly raise even our own children.

We are individualists. We cannot teach and we cannot show what it means to be dependent on each other, to voluntarily, correctly educate our children in love for our neighbor and not in love for ourselves. After all, this is what we show our children, and this is against the rules of nature—real nature, higher nature.

That is, if we educate a person to take care of himself, we educate him like a monkey. If we educate a person to take care of others, then we educate him as a human being.

Question: We aren’t engaged in this education in kindergartens, nurseries, schools, or anywhere?

Answer: Absolutely not. That contradicts our egoism, our foundation. We say the opposite: “He hits you, hit him back! Do not give in, hold on! This way you will be strong and you will win in life.”

Question: We teach to defeat the other?

Answer: Yes. We have created such an environment that only the suppression of the other allows you to survive and somehow thrive.

Question: So, why do we send our children to kindergartens and nurseries for upbringing, as we say?

Answer: What kind of upbringing is there? Monkey education! We have not climbed out of the level of primates and even worse. We should be above them in terms of social status but, in the end, we are not.

Question: So you think it is because of our individualistic qualities that parents got so anxious when everything was closed during the pandemic and they had to raise their children at home themselves?

Answer: They did not know what to do with this child because they were used to living exclusively for themselves.

Question: So it turns out that we send children to kindergartens and nurseries to dump them there? Just for that?

Answer: That is clear enough. You can conduct a survey and see how many people will say: “I send the child to kindergarten to go to work. And thank God I have a job. Not because I need money but because I need this job. It is better for me than sitting at home with the child.”

And how many women will say: “No, I am ready to sit at home with my child, and this is the most important thing for me”? If this is actually the reason and not to conceal some other purpose.

Question: Do you think that the percentage of those who send their child to kindergarten is two to three times higher than those who say: “I want to be a parent and stay at home”?

Answer: Yes. Wanting to sit at home with a child, I do not think there will be many of those. For the love of the child, to raise him myself because otherwise he will not be brought up the way I think he should. Wrap around it all that really should be there and you will see that, first of all, people are not suited for this. They have no such inclinations, such aspirations.

Comment: To do this, they must be teachers, parents, and everything. And also cook, and everything.

My Response: We are worse than primates. Primates take care of their offspring on an animal, natural, instinctive level, and they are doing the right thing.

And that is why monkeys do not get worse with each generation. And with us, with each generation we seem to become smarter, to develop something external, technology, knowledge, and we use it only to the detriment of ourselves and others.

Question: So we are not ants, as they say here?

Answer: No! We are nobody at all. We are a distinct, unfortunate, dead-end type of evolution.

Question: Is there a way out of this impasse?

Answer: Only through suffering. When we see where we are, what we have done, what consequences we bring about by our social relations, then, perhaps this insight will come. Today we simply have no brains, no desire, no feelings for this—nothing.

And if we ever, and I hope it will be soon, realize: “What are we doing? It should be exactly the opposite,” then we will have a lot of questions for the Creator and to Kabbalists.

Do Not Ban Anything

547.05In the News (The New York Times): Japan now plans to build as many as 22 new coal-burning power plants — one of the dirtiest sources of electricity — at 17 different sites in the next five years, just at a time when the world needs to slash carbon dioxide emissions to fight global warming. …

“Together the 22 power plants would emit almost as much carbon dioxide annually as all the passenger cars sold each year in the United States. The construction stands in contrast with Japan’s effort to portray this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo as one of the greenest ever.”

Question: Now, Britain asks: “What is Japan doing?! What is this?!” And Japan replies: “This is more important to us than the starvation of others. It is far more important to us, and we don’t give a damn about anyone.”

Answer: Very true that they “don’t give a damn about others.” Because it’s true. When do people not think about themselves?

So then all is well! We can’t do without coal. As to oil, who knows when and in whose hands it will end up or what will happen to it? As for gas, we’ll run out of it soon. And that’s it. But coal will stay. There’s a good reason it’s been decaying in the ground for millions of years.

This is the most reliable type of fuel. You get a bucket of coal and that’s it. Now you have heat.

Question: You think we will live by this truth up to some point as long as we don’t pollute everything to the max, right?

Answer: No. What are you polluting? I don’t think it’s really that terrible. People will go back to normal. This period of madness will pass.

Question: In your opinion, what is the correct formula for all of this?

Answer: The correct formula is the balance between humans and nature. People must do things for themselves; they must kill animals for food, burn coal, oil, and gas in order to reasonably use machinery, equipment, heating, etc. We can’t avoid it. We must use water wisely. All in adequate measure!

When we throw half of what we produce back into the ocean—creating so much excess dirt and garbage, naturally we will be drowning in it.

But nothing can be done about it; it is out of our hands. It is in the hands of those who greedily or foolishly try to produce and earn as much as possible. And if not, we’ll throw it out. And everyone around them keeps quiet because this process cannot be stopped. Try stopping it.

Half of everything produced in the world today is not needed. Overproduction. If you stop the process, what will people do? Revolutions? No, it’s better to let them pollute, and in the meantime “I will sit on the throne.”

Question: So, you’re saying, don’t ban anything; rather, figure out what is necessary and what is required for it, right?

Answer: Yes. You don’t have to ban anything. If we knew what we really need and what we don’t need, we would stop 70 to 80% of all production.

Question: Tell me, can “what is necessary” be determined by law? Is it possible to gather a number of scientists, sages, and philosophers, so that they decide this is what a person needs? It should be defined by law. This would determine the amount of coal, atomic energy, etc., needed to achieve it? Shall we start from this point?

Answer: Of course, you can approach this problem logically. Even from our point of view, even though we are unaware of many conditions, it is still possible to exercise this approach. People’s needs are already calculated and estimated by economists. But who takes it into account, who cares about everyone having enough but not more than that?

Question: Your conclusion is to calculate what is necessary and start from there?

Answer: Surely! Only from this.

But our egoism must be fed with something! There’s nothing you can do about it. You can talk as much as you’d like, but the ego says: “And what’s in it for me?!” The other guy will get the same as you get. “No! It means you won’t give me anything at all.”
