My Thoughts On Twitter 4/3/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

On the human level there can be no love and hate or war and peace at the same time. In the spiritual world, however, it is possible because war and peace are the products of the same force that allows them to exist together.

Our path is creating the connections between us. It is intertwined with contradictions that our logic cannot bridge together, how the two opposites can coexist and support each other.
Thus, work is above knowledge: I grab hold of two threads, but only tie them at the next degree.

The network of our interconnections is the vessel for revelation of the Creator due to the similarity of form between Him and the vessel, the network of our connections. We weave it together until the strength, form and qualities of our unity allow the Creator to be revealed in it.

A sign of correct work is joy for the sinners that are revealed. I am happy about the evil that is revealed since it is a result of my work and preparation. Hence I do not revoke it, but rise above it.
This is the difference between those working for the Creator and those not working for Him.

In the spiritual world we do not look at a person’s actions.
It’s as if he is behind a veil and we don’t care what he is doing there.
We only want to know what his intentions are, through this veil.
When we see everyone’s intentions, as if reflected on a screen—this is called seeing the upper world.

At every moment we are given a chance to advance, and everything depends on our sensitivity. If I am perceptive enough, then at every moment I will see an opportunity to move on to a new state. Thus I can make many corrections at every moment, revealing new qualities each time.

At every moment, one must be ready to renew one’s connection with the Creator. The yearning for the Creator I had a moment ago is insufficient.
Now I reveal a new state: emptiness of the soul in order to be filled for bestowal—a place of adhesion with the Creator, my world.

How Can We Use Our Individuality?

laitman_938.01Question: How can one use one’s individuality for the sake of a group and advancement?

Answer: When you begin working with a group you see how your qualities are clearly directed against the friends. There is nothing in you that can be correlated with them somehow.

You are completely different, distant from each other. You confront each other and hate each other. It is exactly here that you have an opportunity to connect with each other. So be it.

Question: How can a person verify that his perception of the group, friends, teacher, and Kabbalah are true if he does this from his uncorrected state?

Answer: It doesn’t matter. You work in relation to the group, so check yourself only regarding your friends. Do not worry, this is an established methodology. It comes from the very purpose of creation, from the connection between us. It cannot fail. In general, nothing in the world works, except for it.

Domination Over Egoism

laitman_530Question: What does egoism feel when working in the ten?

Answer: Each one in the ten pushes back his egoism and aims toward the quality of bestowal and love for the other nine friends. This is called “the first nine Sefirot.” The tenth Sefira (egoism) goes down.

It turns out that we build a network between us that should be equal, through its qualities, to the Creator.

What does “equal to Him” mean? To the extent that I exit myself and rise in the ten by one or two units in connection with the friends, that is my spiritual level. To this degree I attain the Creator and reveal the lights of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, and Yechida.

Question: At the same time, do I constantly push myself away from egoism without losing it in my sensation?

Answer: Yes. Depending on the level of egoism (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5), I attain the Creator, His force in the soul. The Creator is the light and the entire system in itself is a soul.

The more egoism, the more I rise above it; precisely contrary to the ego, I use it to connect with the friends, and to that extent I reveal the Creator. This is how the system is arranged. We must work together. The whole problem is in implementation because all of this is within us.

How Can You Solve A Problem In The Ten?

laitman_942Question: How do we solve a problem if it was revealed that there is no unity in the ten and we cannot come to a common opinion?

Answer: There is no need to solve anything. You must continue working with each other and turning to the Creator. Let Him solve your problems. What can you solve by yourself? Which one of you is so clever? I don’t see anyone.

Only the Creator can solve all problems. He gives them, but it seems to you that their source is one of your friends. That’s not the case at all. The Creator is the source of all problems. It is written about this, “I am the first and I am the last.” Turn to Him.

Question: Should each friend appeal to Him individually or should we all do it together?

Answer: Together is better.

Suppose that some problem arises in the group. Do not discuss it too much, but simply together turn to the Creator so that He will solve it. And it’s even better if it does not matter to you whether He solves the problem or not. The important thing for you is that you can turn to Him above this problem.

If you treat this problem as a reason to turn to Him and through it to cling to Him tenaciously, you will see that the problem disappears. It arose only for this.

New Life 188 – Job, The Story Of Human Suffering

New Life 188 – Job, The Story Of Human Suffering
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

What choice do we have that enables us to control our destiny and how does it relate to the construction of harmonious relationships of connection and trust between us? We all think like Job: “All in all, I’m a good person so why do I get beaten up?” We want to escape personal responsibility, but everyone must fulfill their role in the world’s development. The story of Job teaches that any evil that is revealed indicates a lack of human connection. General and individual blows are invitations to balance everything in perfect harmony and mutual trust. The reins are in our hands. When we learn to run the world, the blows will stop and we will have all the good.

My Thoughts On Twitter 4/2/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

The receiving of the Torah took place at the foot of Mount Sinai, i.e., in the lowest state of man. And when one agrees to remain in that state, without asking for anything in return, with joy, although he feels incomplete, he receives the light that reforms—#Torah.

Separation from the Creator manifests to the extent that there is egoism.
When all of one’s intentions are to bestow, one deems oneself nothing, that there is only the Creator’s authority, and one wishes only to bestow everything to Him. Hence one receives everything—in order to give the intention of bestowal, to delight the Creator, over what one receives.

If one wishes to delight the Creator, he must increase bestowal, meaning increase the Creator’s greatness in order to annul oneself more and act only for the Creator’s sake. That is, one must acquire faith, which manifests to the extent of the Creator’s greatness in him and pushes him toward bestowal, giving fulfillment in bestowal.

The Creator created a desire the size of a black point in infinite white light. The white light symbolizes the Creator’s greatness, while the black point symbolizes the size of creation. However, if creation properly evaluates the Creator’s greatness and wishes to fill Him, its point develops to the proportion of the white light.

Small Efforts, Huge Corrections

laitman_962.3The person’s work consists of revealing the Creator who is concealed because of our broken desires. We have to correct our qualities, make them similar to the Creator’s qualities, meaning, prepare them for His revelation. This is how we bring Him pleasure and also realize the purpose of creation and of our lives.

We already exist in the field of the Creator, but in order for us to feel it, we have to begin with the action called subjugation. To do so, one must reduce his egoistic desire to nothing and agree with all that is happening, understanding that it is given to us for our own good. Nothing exists in this world besides the upper light. This is how we begin to establish contact with the Creator.

Subjugation lets us enter into connection with the Creator and begin to develop, enhance, and broaden it in all directions, eventually achieving full revelation of the Creator and adhesion with Him. Subjugation is the first condition in order to achieve contact with the field of the upper light that we exist in without even realizing it.1

Why is it that we cannot just study, but must spend the majority of our time on material concerns, day jobs, etc., and resolve all sorts of corporeal problems?

Applying even the smallest effort to connect, we perform major corrections in the world because we perform them in conditions of terrible confusion. Fake news, advertisements, fears, and worry about everything that is happening in the world, plunging stock prices in the stock-market, falling bombs are perpetual problems. And all of it is done so that we can exert efforts in the midst of this mess and correct the world.

In the conditions of such disorder, huge turmoil, and obstacles, when we are able to exert even a smallest effort toward correction, it is counted as a huge contribution. Therefore, we cannot feel that the world interferes with our spiritual work; on the contrary, it helps us. If we had ideal conditions, free from all material concerns, we would never be able to correct anything in spirituality.

A long time ago, Kabbalists sat and secretly studied in solitude. But that was just a preparation. The further we move toward general, true correction, the more disorderly the world will become and the Kabbalists will have more and more problems. The chaos in the world works in our favor because if we exert small efforts while in the states of all these disturbances, they are counted as tremendous and produce significant corrections.2

Does Wealth And Poverty Interfere With Kabbalah?

laitman_566.02Question: You once said that the Creator gives wealth in order to distance Himself. But poverty also alienates people from spirituality because all strength and thoughts go to feeding themselves and their families. Do wealth and poverty interfere with Kabbalah?

Answer: No. Everything depends on how a person, despite wealth or poverty, relates himself to the highest governance, realizing that the Creator gives him exactly what is necessary for his soul. Even if I do not understand why He gives me conditions such as wealth or poverty, which in principle hinder me in my smooth movement toward the goal, I justify it because I received it from the Creator. Moreover, probably, from the point of view of the root of my soul, it is justified, natural, and absolutely balanced.

Question: So, such an understanding helps me steer away from constant thoughts of where to get money?

Answer: No, I also regard this as a spiritual work.
