My Thoughts On Twitter 3/31/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

The Creator hears everyone’s prayers.
He broke the general desire of ADAM into pieces so that each desire would ask for unity—to rise from separation and, united, achieve the state where the general power of love and connection can be revealed, called “The Creator.”

There are 2 opposing forces in the embryo that gradually form it. He needs support, protection from Klipot or miscarriage, restriction. Subject to the desires of the Creator and of his mother, he eats what she eats, without choice. Therefore, he has no name yet.

The Creator hears the prayers of everyone, but only of one kind “To Raise Divinity from the Dust”—so that the importance of bestowal is above all. An answer to it comes as deliverance from egoism. In the measure of deliverance from egoism, we will reveal the Creator in us.

“Raising Divinity from the Dust” is raising the greatness of the Creator, which is lower in us than all the desires of this world, to raise it to the highest level. A prayer is precisely for the greatness of the Creator in our eyes.

Concealments and contradictions are sent in the degree and character necessary to cause the manifestation of the greatness of the Creator. Since the fulfillment by the greatness of the Creator is a spiritual Kli in which the Creator is revealed.
The greatness of the Creator is OH, reflected light, when the Creator is more important to me than I am.

Each contradiction is an opportunity to reveal a special attainment. And those worthy of it turn darkness into light, bitterness into sweetness, since the forces of concealment and separation have turned into attainment of unity for them.
And they themselves started tilting the whole world to the scale of merit.

One cannot sense evil from the Creator. For it is detrimental to His greatness to manifest Himself so in front of man. Therefore, when a person feels evil, in himself or in the world, to that extent the Creator disappears from him. And this is the worst punishment in the world—the concealment of the Creator.
(Baal HaSulam, “Night of the Bride,” p .38)

Baal HaSulam: As the Creator does not think about Himself, whether He exists or rules the creation, neither should the one who wishes to resemble the Creator think about it.
Otherwise, he is far from the Creator and is not similar to Him.
“All your actions should be for the sake of the Creator, with the desire to enter and remain in this quality of love and bestowal.”

Divinity is a network of connections between us, desires for each other, through which love and connection circulate. This is the Creator.
The Creator responds only to the request “To raise the Divinity from non-existence,” a request for unity for deliverance of everyone by raising above the ego.

The smallest spiritual degree is called an Embryo. Because a person must go with his eyes closed as the body fights it, but he overcomes the body’s resistance by annulling himself before the Creator, so that the Creator can do what He wants with him.
#Kabbalah #SPIRITUAL #wisdom

Baal HaSulam (Letter 8): When those immersed in #egoism undergo the horrors of their pride, distant from the Creator, the entrance to the heart of stone opens and they become worthy of feeling a “drop of unity.”
They change and discover that it is the fears that lead to the attainment of the Creator…

Baal HaSulam: Why do thoughts and actions appear that are contrary to the good Upper governance?
So that, if one wishes to rise above them, with thoughts and actions contradicting the Absolute, he draws the “Greatness of the Creator” to these contradictions.
Contradictions are the reason for revelation of the greatness of the Creator.

Rabash (Article 21): Sensing the greatness of the Creator, a person is ready to work without any reward. The reward is serving the Creator, which is greater than any riches when the Creator allows a person to serve Him.
Therefore, it is necessary to focus on how to achieve the sensation of greatness of the Creator.

The main prayer is for the Creator to give the opportunity to go by faith above reason, in joy, as if he had already achieved everything, and he only asks for the strength to be above demands of the body. But he doesn’t want to see the Creator’s power because it will harm the faith in Him.

One must remain in joy regardless of the state he is in, because it comes from the Creator in order for the person to accept it as the best for himself, since the Creator has decided so. This is called receiving without any conditions.

If one can limit himself and refrain from wanting more, and is willing to stay this way forever—this is called eternal adhesion. And its magnitude is irrelevant—even if it is negligibly small, but he agrees to stay with it forever, it means that he has earned eternal adhesion.

The embryo, from the word “unhappy” (Ibur-avra), because you have to surrender yourself to the Creator who’s greatness seems like a point. Therefore, at first, he sees how far from the Creator he is, but if he is not indifferent to it, his gestation has already begun because the feeling of Hisaron is a Kli.

State Department And Antisemitism

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 3/31/19

$2 million is the amount allocated by the U.S. State Department for two projects to combat the growing anti-Semitism in Europe and Central Asia.

This proposal itself highlights the problem with the approach to anti-Semitism. The premise is wrong. We are trying to fight anti-Semitism instead of understanding the reasons for it. We are looking for ways to silence the hatred, rather than understanding where it emanates from and thus alleviate the problem.

Anti-Semitic incidents are like a messenger carrying a message: The relentless negative sentiments toward the Jewish people demand a deep and satisfactory explanation. Without it, the hatred will continue to bubble under the surface, and erupt on the face of it.

Instead of “killing the messenger,” we should invite him to a discussion about the source of the hatred and the solution for it. Instead of trying to blur the phenomenon, we must agree that it’s there and it needs to be understood.

The ancient wisdom of Kabbalah, which is being revealed nowadays, provides a systematic, comprehensive explanation for the phenomenon of anti-Semitism. An explanation that binds together the development of humanity from the dawn of civilization, human nature and the psychology that operates it, the birth of the Jewish people and the nature of its relationship with the rest the nations. Simply knowing the explanation will cause an immediate alleviation of anti-Semitism, since “a disease known is half cured.”

And here is the explanation in brief: According to Kabbalah, humanity reached a unique turning point about 3,800 years ago in ancient Mesopotamia, as human nature evolved to a new level. After thousands of years where human beings had an instinctive connection to each other and to nature, humans began to develop their sense of self. In Kabbalah, this is referred to as “the evolution of the human ego.”

As a result of the growth of the ego, human beings became more individualistic and egocentric, society became more complex, and human existence required the formation of deeper and stronger connections between people.

Abraham, who is known to this day as the common ancestor of the three major religions, had discovered the dynamics of human evolution: Nature continually increases the human ego, thereby allowing humans to form a more conscious connection, above the growing ego. This is how nature advances the human species to become a more conscious, more intelligent, more advanced form of life. In other words, nature increases the ego – and human beings are driven to increase their connection.

Abraham gathered around him representatives from the various groups and clans who lived in ancient Babylon, and built them into a group capable of enhancing human connection over the growing ego. The group abandons the Babylonian kingdom, grows to the scale of a nation, and acquires the name “Am Yisrael“. From that point onward, the Jewish people and the other nations separate and continue to evolve on two parallel axes.

For some 1,500 years the Jewish people lived according to the Abrahamic principles, until human egoism grew to a new level in humanity as a whole. At this stage, the Jewish people lose the special bond that binds them together, and begin to scatter and roam the world. In other words, the Jews lose contact with the system of connection that has accompanied them since they were founded as a people.

In the last two millennia, humanity has evolved through various forms of social regimes, trade and commerce, science, education and culture, all the while becoming interdependent across the globe. And in the last century, the human ego has reached its final peak, and is now leading human society towards an unprecedented global crisis: the family unit is disintegrating, the pubic loses trust in all forms of government, economic inequality reaches new levels while technological unemployment is around the corner, nuclear and climate threats are rising, drug addiction and depression rates are soaring, and the list goes on.

All the above are pushing humanity to rearrange itself around the planet, which in fact requires a new level of human connection. And the way to do it is the same as that which took place in ancient Babylon. The method for increasing human connection lies within the Jewish people who are scattered throughout the world, and this is why the Jews evoke a unique and negative sentiment throughout thousands of years of their existence.

Both Jews and anti-Semites do not recognize the natural dynamic that activates them. This is why this explanation is so vital. Only the understanding and awareness of these natural foundations can serve as a basis for solving the problem of anti-Semitism. As soon as the explanation permeates the public discourse, the anti-Semitic flames will subside.

The U.S. State Department’s $2 million would be helpful if it would be put toward spreading the explanation for the root cause of anti-Semitism, to Jews and non-Jews alike.

“How Trump Can Help the Chosen People“ (Breaking Israel News)

The largest portal Breaking Israel News published my new article “How Trump Can Help the Chosen People“:

“He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them.” (Daniel 2:21)

At the time when the pro-Israel AIPAC lobby is making headlines, there are other players whose influence is no less important in safeguarding the interests of the Jewish nation: namely, the Evangelicals. How do they impact US foreign policy and what role should Jews play in this context?

The Evangelical population in the US represents approximately one quarter of the American electorate, according to recent studies. Among them, more than 70% approve Trump’s presidency, according to yet another significant survey conducted at the end of last year. The import of Trump’s actions respecting Israel will not be overlooked by this demographic group, which holds a strong conviction that Israel has a special role to carry out in human history, and must therefore be protected from menace. The move of the US embassy to Jerusalem and the official US recognition of Israeli sovereignty of the Golan Heights enacted by president Trump are certain to be remembered by these Israel supporters for generations to come.

The commitment of the current US administration toward Israel was expressed in a TV interview with Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, who “certainly believes” that President Trump may have been sent by God to help save the Jewish people from Iran. The godsend flows in two directions. As is it written, those who support Israel will also receive blessings in return:

“I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)

Israel and the Jewish people indeed do have a special task within humanity. As Jewish sages have stated, “love your neighbor as yourself” is the seminal law of the Torah that was received by the Jews at Sinai. They were directed to implement this law firstly among themselves, and then to shine as an example of unity for the rest of the world. It is written about Israel’s unique responsibility to stand as a spiritual superpower:

“The genuine movement of the Israeli soul at its grandest is expressed only by its sacred, eternal force, which flows within its spirit. It is that which has made it, is making it, and will make it still a nation that stands as a light unto nations.” Rav Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook (Letters of the RAAIAH, 3)

In a nutshell, Jews hold the keys to a better world, keys that can open the gates to a bright future for all humanity through a positive force Jews draw when united “as one man with one heart.”

Therefore, we Jews cannot afford to rest on our laurels now. After the recent AIPAC conference applause for the Jewish nation by Israeli leaders, American Jewish figures, and politicians begins to quiet, and the warm embrace of Evangelicals manifested through their continuous support is fully relished, we must get to our work of solidifying our unity as a Jewish people in fulfillment of our charge. We need to set aside the accolades for a moment and face up to the broader landscape surrounding us—the multi-layered challenges facing Israel on the eve of the upcoming elections, the delicate relations between Israelis and Jews of the Diaspora, and the threat of anti-Semitism in American mainstream politics from both Right and Left.

In such a complex scenario, the support of our friends is warmly welcomed, but such help does not exempt us from our role as Jews to draw closer to each other with the aim of connecting in brotherhood above whatever divides us as a people. This is indeed the only foolproof insurance we have for prevailing against any and all threats we may face. The truth is that the task that we have been chosen for is to unite, and by so doing, become “a light unto the nations.”

Everything For Them

laitman_962.6The reflected Light becomes the vessel for receiving the Light after the restriction. To receive fulfillment in the reflected Light means in my attitude toward the host, in my pursuit of Him. At the same time, I get a different taste of fulfillment both in quality and in quantity. This is not at all the fulfillment that was there before. Inside this Light, I feel the attitude of the Creator and the enjoyment that is 620 times greater than before, the whole Light of NRNHY.

I receive and by this I bestow, by this I become equal with the host, feel our unity. The treat that I receive becomes only an auxiliary tool for me because I understand that the Host gives it in order to establish the connection between us: between the Creator and the created being. The point here is not the Light and the desire that it fulfills, but the relationship between us, which is now the main and decisive issue. We are both concerned only about this attitude, about the embrace in which “He is One and His name, One.” This attitude is called love.

Everything is focused around this very point and everything else is unimportant and auxiliary. The main thing for us is to what extent we can strengthen our unity, “He is One and His name, One”—our love. After all, this was the Creator’s original intention and now it has become also my intention. Therefore, a completely different taste of fulfillment is revealed.

Therefore, all the stages of the entry and exit of the Light from the vessel, the entire TANTA (Taamim-Otiot-Tagin-Nekudot) are necessary in order to reveal the new quality of our connection, our unity each time. It is not a mechanical connection like a pump pumping Light into a vessel and pushing it back, but the mutual sensory penetration of one into the other until the complete merging into one whole.

The whole purpose of development, the descent from top to bottom and then the ascent from bottom to top, is to reach the unity of the Creator and the created being as a whole. If the created being decides that “the Creator is our supreme ruler, the Creator is one,” it means that there is no difference between the Creator and the created being and they have achieved complete merging.1

What work do we want to do in the ten? I nullify myself before nine friends and it is as if I nullify myself before the Creator, the Malchut of the world of infinity. I want to connect with my friends just as I want to connect with Him. All the disturbances on the way to connection that I have encountered are imaginary disturbances of this world. The physical appearance of my friends and their behavior is, in fact, me, my view of the world, because “one judges according to one’s own flaws .”

It seems to me that I see nine friends, but in fact, I see myself. This is how we need to correctly perceive reality.2

The internal study of the “Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah” suggests that I strive to connect with the ten and with the Creator within it. I want to connect with the Creator who is inside the ten, and vice versa, with the ten within which the Creator resides.

Either this or that way: “from love of friends one can reach love of the Creator,” and with the help of the Creator attain love for the created beings.3

The Creator, the screen, the desire to enjoy, bestowal—all this applies only to the ten. Even today we can achieve this; we only need to build an attitude toward the ten so that we will think only about the friends, that is,  we will make a restriction. You need to worry about the influence of the Creator on the friends for their advancement so that everything is for them and perceive yourself as a zero, agreeing to remain in this world only for the friends to reach the end of correction.

Everything we study in the wisdom of Kabbalah is realized in the ten. There is no other place for it to be realized. Otherwise, all the studies will remain on a theoretical, mechanical level, as if you study the work of a hydraulic pump that pumps Light.4

Address The Creator Through The Group

laitman_236.02Question: What does it mean to be included in the group? Can a person check if he has succeeded in this?

Answer: Firstly, it depends on the frequency of his appeal to the group in order to connect everyone together and in this connection to reveal the Creator.

Secondly, does he turn to the Creator above all obstacles personally, from himself, or does he turn to the group and through the group address the Creator? These are different things.

At first, we address the Creator individually because it is much easier. Such exercises should be constant.

Later, they become more or less a habit, and by constantly remembering this, one as if automatically connects to the Creator and every second is a stop-start motion: “yes-no, no-yes.” If one constantly works in this pulsating rhythm, one becomes connected to the Creator through the group.

One ties oneself to the group, advances with it and helps others pull friends out of the “river’s current” (relative to the Light of Hassadim) or from the “dungeon” (relative to the Light of Hochma).

New Life 185 – Sodom And Gomorrah

New Life 185 – Sodom And Gomorrah
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Sodom symbolizes detachment and disrespect for others; everyone wants to live quietly in their own corner and neglect the weak. Nature’s tendency, on the other hand, is to bring everyone into perfect, mutual relations. Abraham opposed the idea that humans need to separate from one another due to their inherent evil. He claimed that the evil that is revealed between us comes so that we can build an integral connection above it. If there are ten righteous people who have compassion and consideration for one another and can maintain a connection above the breakage, they will feel like parts of one body and will acquire the power of bestowal.

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

Everything that happens in the world comes from one source, and it’s only in order for us to hear and understand His conversation with us!
#quotesoftheday #FridayFeeling #world #Kabbalah #Wisdom

The difficulty of becoming an embryo lies in having to acquire the quality of bestowal—in one’s natural quality of reception. Only the Creator can do this since it is contrary to man’s egoistic nature.

One becomes an embryo when one stops thinking of oneself completely, and thinks only about how to follow the Creator. This is called going by faith above reason, in the quality of bestowal, as Kabbalists have instructed.

The Creator created a desire for self-gratification (#egoism). It conceals (doesn’t feel) the Creator due to disparity of form with Him. We must annul the egoism (Tzimtzum Aleph) and then turn it into bestowal, similarity to the Creator, and attain adhesion (the goal of creation).

Uncorrected desires with the sparks of Ohr Hozer rise to conception to the extent of the light’s influence. Desires are dead (egoistic), but the spark from the reflected light Ohr Hozer, that was previously in them, helps it restore and receive light in bestowal, MAN.

Spiritual work begins with the state of Embryo, when one annuls himself, his self-love, and acquires the quality of bestowal.
One must believe that before the soul was revealed in our world, it was adhered to the Creator, and thus he now strives to attain the same state, i.e., annul himself completely.

Friends, we are indifferent to slanderers, but the Creator sends them and we must use them to spread the knowledge about Him. In our world only falsehood can spread. Therefore, they help us by spreading lies, while we write the truth about it and people gradually absorb it…

Ibur means that the Upper one corrects me if I annul myself like an embryo inside a mother, without a name or opinion, who eats directly from the Upper one, doesn’t yet have his own name, who receives everything straight into himself, not through the mouth, he cannot even speak—so much faith he has in the Upper one in everything.
