Everything For Them

laitman_962.6The reflected Light becomes the vessel for receiving the Light after the restriction. To receive fulfillment in the reflected Light means in my attitude toward the host, in my pursuit of Him. At the same time, I get a different taste of fulfillment both in quality and in quantity. This is not at all the fulfillment that was there before. Inside this Light, I feel the attitude of the Creator and the enjoyment that is 620 times greater than before, the whole Light of NRNHY.

I receive and by this I bestow, by this I become equal with the host, feel our unity. The treat that I receive becomes only an auxiliary tool for me because I understand that the Host gives it in order to establish the connection between us: between the Creator and the created being. The point here is not the Light and the desire that it fulfills, but the relationship between us, which is now the main and decisive issue. We are both concerned only about this attitude, about the embrace in which “He is One and His name, One.” This attitude is called love.

Everything is focused around this very point and everything else is unimportant and auxiliary. The main thing for us is to what extent we can strengthen our unity, “He is One and His name, One”—our love. After all, this was the Creator’s original intention and now it has become also my intention. Therefore, a completely different taste of fulfillment is revealed.

Therefore, all the stages of the entry and exit of the Light from the vessel, the entire TANTA (Taamim-Otiot-Tagin-Nekudot) are necessary in order to reveal the new quality of our connection, our unity each time. It is not a mechanical connection like a pump pumping Light into a vessel and pushing it back, but the mutual sensory penetration of one into the other until the complete merging into one whole.

The whole purpose of development, the descent from top to bottom and then the ascent from bottom to top, is to reach the unity of the Creator and the created being as a whole. If the created being decides that “the Creator is our supreme ruler, the Creator is one,” it means that there is no difference between the Creator and the created being and they have achieved complete merging.1

What work do we want to do in the ten? I nullify myself before nine friends and it is as if I nullify myself before the Creator, the Malchut of the world of infinity. I want to connect with my friends just as I want to connect with Him. All the disturbances on the way to connection that I have encountered are imaginary disturbances of this world. The physical appearance of my friends and their behavior is, in fact, me, my view of the world, because “one judges according to one’s own flaws .”

It seems to me that I see nine friends, but in fact, I see myself. This is how we need to correctly perceive reality.2

The internal study of the “Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah” suggests that I strive to connect with the ten and with the Creator within it. I want to connect with the Creator who is inside the ten, and vice versa, with the ten within which the Creator resides.

Either this or that way: “from love of friends one can reach love of the Creator,” and with the help of the Creator attain love for the created beings.3

The Creator, the screen, the desire to enjoy, bestowal—all this applies only to the ten. Even today we can achieve this; we only need to build an attitude toward the ten so that we will think only about the friends, that is,  we will make a restriction. You need to worry about the influence of the Creator on the friends for their advancement so that everything is for them and perceive yourself as a zero, agreeing to remain in this world only for the friends to reach the end of correction.

Everything we study in the wisdom of Kabbalah is realized in the ten. There is no other place for it to be realized. Otherwise, all the studies will remain on a theoretical, mechanical level, as if you study the work of a hydraulic pump that pumps Light.4
