My Thoughts On Twitter 4/30/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

It is written in the Introduction to the #Zohar (item 71): If the outer part of the nation strengthens and lessens the inner part of the people of #Israel, the Kabbalists, then the outer part of the world nations, the vandals, intensify and annul their inner part, the righteous of the nations.

I’m personally acquainted with Dr. Guy Bechor and agree with him.
There is hope that the #Jews will understand that there are only two paths: to perish from the hatred of the people or to lead the correction of the world. The decision is ours. Anti-Semites are not at fault.
Blame those who can change the fate—the Jews!
#antisemitism

Evil and Good come into the world for Israel (see Talmud, Yavamot 631) and through Israel they act upon all nations of the world.
Israel’s behavior determines whether the world is governed by good or evil.
Observance of unity (mutual guarantee) in the nation and between it and the Creator determines the state of the world.

Nazism is a product of democracy and socialism that have discarded faith and upbringing. Hence in our time it is developing in every country, starting with democratic states. If the nation of Israel doesn’t set an example of unity for the nations, this will lead to World War III.

The hatred of the nations toward Israel comes from its mission to correct the common soul (desire) Adam for all, egoistic after the fall, desire to receive above the desire to give. By correcting its egoism, Israel will change the world nations’ bad attitude toward it for good.

In the general system of souls (Adam), Israel (Lirosh), head of the system, lays the foundation for growth of the whole system, the duty to develop correctly and lead all the nations of the world in the development of soul, until full correction in similarity to the Creator.

Isra-el means Li-Rosh, the head of the system of souls. They are the first to receive the signals and pass them on to the nations of the world. It is impossible to do without them, everyone depends on them. The system is purposely broken by the fall – egoism so that the nations of the world would obligate the people of Israel to carry out their mission.

The volume of the world debt of $243 trillion is 3 times the #GDP of the planet.
If it blows up it will result in crises, the system of connections will get out of control.
Solution: The Torah instructs us to write off #debts.
And since the entire #economy is egoistic, it should be limited to sensible #consumption.

Practice Love For The Creator

Laitman_138Question: How do Kabbalists practice love for the Creator and what does it feel like?

Answer: Let’s try this practice together.

Try to constantly keep yourself in a thought that you want to love the Creator, you want to do good to Him, you aspire to Him with all your soul, you want to get closer to Him and feel Him.

Try and see whether you can develop an inner feeling that you are lacking this connection.

Best of all is to constantly think: “I would very much like to do good to Him.” Such inner yearning will quickly evoke certain sensations within you, and then you will be able to say: “Indeed, there is some point of a special attitude toward the Creator in me. Based on that, I can develop further.”

I repeat and keep thinking: “I want to have a constant urge to do good to the Creator. But I do not want the Creator to know about it. I just want to do it myself.” That is all.

New Life #220 – What Is Happiness?

New Life #220 – What Is Happiness?
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Summary:

Why does happiness slip through our fingers, even when we achieve it? Inherent in us is a basic aspiration for happiness, yet the definition of happiness changes as we develop. In order to achieve true happiness, one must first acquire a lack of happiness. A person who has a deficiency that is constantly increasing and discovers how to fulfill it each time achieves eternal happiness. Today, we are facing a new stage in our human development in which we must develop ourselves towards internal, emotional fulfillment.

My Thoughts On Twitter 4/29/19

Dr Michael Laitman TwitterThe path will be overcome by one who walks it—one who comes to lessons, observes conditions of the assembly of friends. Thus through joint efforts, gradually assembling the Kli, we collect the Sefirot, relying on the friends more and more, who are nearby, struggling not to fall asleep—but not leaving their place in the group.
The result is mutual guarantee!

Do not forget to see the Creator in the Pharaoh. For “There is none else besides Him,” one force that controls us, lovingly leading us forward, purposely scaring us so that we come out of egoism, disillusioning us not to fall for egoism’s traps. Thus we learn the Upper governance

Amalek creates obstacles in the form of slander about the Creator’s work, bestowal, and hence obliges one to rise by faith above knowledge, bestowal above reception, which is revealed to man. Thus, by going above knowledge below, having received the power from the Creator above, one can destroy Amalek.

Egoism (Amalek) leads an internal fight against one’s greatness of the Creator inside man, diminishes the greatness and complete control of the Creator over all the worlds and creatures, to prevent the revelation of man’s awe before the Creator.

“Remember what Amalek did to you upon leaving Egypt.”
Amalek (abbr: al-minat-lekabel)—the evil inclination, egoism.
It manifests itself at the exit from Egypt, when a person wants to leave egoism.

“Happy is the one to whom the Creator sends suffering,” for such an influence compels egoism to act. By gradually correcting it into the intention to bestow, we cause egoism to reveal an even greater breakage—suffering. Thanks to our helpers—haters!

Malchut is called Shechina, “Knesset Israel,” a gathering of souls aimed toward the Creator. It is necessary for the souls to correct its intention from “for self alone” to “for the sake of the Creator” and thus make it similar to the Creator until the unity of the Creator with the Shechina. This is called Tshuva (Tashuv Hey le Vav).

Just like the Creator made the nature to RECEIVE, and added an intention “for self alone”—egoism to it, so will He change this intention toward “for the sake of others”—altruism, so that we become similar to Him in this intention, in the nature to BESTOW.

This is the only means (klal) of the Torah to free us for the work of the Creator.
To achieve Lishma, the way out of the power of egoism so that all thoughts and actions are outside of oneself, for the Creator, which is against our nature, is only possible by uniting in the group up till the love of friends.
This is the only means (klal) of the Torah to free us for the work of the Creator.

Exiting Egypt: From Two Forces To One

laitman_276.05The longer we are in the Egyptian exile, the more we want to come out of it. However, if we were there for a short time, then the desire to come out would be small. These two forces work in parallel—recognition of evil and coming out to the good—the greater one is, the more the other grows. Therefore, the exodus from Egypt is impossible without the sensation that you are in the grip of the egoism.1

We only need to strive toward the goal and each one will reveal whatever is necessary according to the root of his soul. This is not going anywhere, after all we are stepping on our Reshimot (informational data) by which the way to the end of correction is paved. There is no doubt where I will step next: Reshimo on the left, Reshimo on the right and so I advance walking on Reshimot. They are already laid out in front of me, only the speed of advancement and its character depend on me.2

The entire wisdom of Kabbalah and the work of a person are to discover the oneness of the Creator in practice, by becoming a part of that oneness. When I determine that “there is none else besides the Creator,” it means that I am becoming a part of Him. If we become like a punch and a matrix, a seal and an imprint, it is considered that I have built my soul.3

At first, I perceive the Creator and the Pharaoh as two completely opposite forces: the good and the evil, as if in this world I receive a reward or a punishment. Suddenly, I begin to reduce the difference between them more and more until I discover that there is neither evil nor good, but only my connection with “There is none else besides Him.” Therefore, it doesn’t matter to me what I receive from Him, the main thing is that it is from Him!4

If the Creator puts an obstacle before me, it means that beforehand He already arranged everything I need in order to overcome this obstacle. As it is written: “Holiness is increased, not decreased.” The Creator always gives us an opportunity to strengthen ourselves, connect, find new strength, and move forward. He makes a step forward first, and then from the new state sends us burdening of the heart in order to pull us closer to Him. We take a step after the Creator. He leads the way and we follow Him.5

How can we approach Passover in complete readiness in order to be worthy of the exodus from Egypt? We need to unite more. We have enough strength to exit, all we need is unity. Let’s hope that we will reach such connection that is suitable for the exodus from Egypt. That is, that we will feel an acute need to come out of the egoistic love and to unite so that the ten will become as one. Then from the minus, from separation, we will come to one whole, and then we will begin to increase, to grow this unit, due to these disturbances.

First we come from two opposite force, good and evil, to one force, to the point of exiting Egypt. Then from this point, two forces grow again: plus and minus.

First, we connect the good and the evil forces by determining that everything comes from the same Creator. Then we increase the Creator by rising above the disturbances, above the force of evil.6

Consequence Of Advancement

Laitman_144Question: Some new students who face sudden problems, think they are related to the study of Kabbalah. Is it so?

Answer: No. Problems in studying Kabbalah arise only in a group when friends begin to feel rejection and hostility. This results from advancement so that each time one will rise above these obstacles, nothing more.

Question: Where does the feeling that something is about to happen come from? Perhaps sensitivity increases?

Answer: Sensitivity also increases. How else can we overcome all sorts of obstacles in order to rise above them even higher and define the spiritual more if we do not feel them? Obstacles existed before, they just manifest themselves more now because we deserve it and we can rise above them.
