When we go out to disseminate, and more generally, throughout the entire day, we must wholeheartedly worry about the strength of our unity. This is the only thing determining the strength of the Light, which passes through us to the nation of Israel and to the world. It’s like we’re trying to hold something up, afraid to let it fall lest it break. We constantly hold up unity because the Light will pour forward only through it. This is mutual guarantee.

Otherwise, our words will remain empty sounds. What does it mean to unite? To sit and hug each other? To talk about it? We have been talking about it for years, but is it of any use? Does each of us have to be up against the wall, with a gun pointed at him, to feel the need to unite?

To you, “uniting” means sitting and talking about how important this is. But I don’t enjoy sitting and I don’t enjoy talking about it.

Question: So how can we overcome these final millimeters between us? We feel indifferent, disunited, and repelled by one another. Every person sits in his own corner, in his own niche, with his own thoughts and plans. But we don’t want to go back, so what should we do?

Answer: You need a cry, a prayer.

You need to understand that there will be no forgiveness, no second chance. If you want to attain success, then now’s the time. And if you’re not up to it, then you’re better off going your separate ways. At least that way you’ll know for sure that you’re on the wrong path and have no part in the correction of your soul.

In such cases, words are useless. When a person feels real love, he doesn’t talk about it. People don’t parade the thing closest to their heart—they hold it in secret. That’s why I cannot go out shouting about unity. It’s a different matter when you talk about it scientifically, although the emotion cannot be expressed since it lies much deeper.

In any case, you now have a unique chance and it is up to you to implement it. On my part, I have given you everything and cannot do anything for you. The ball is in your court. If you step back now, the future of Israel and your own future will come under the upper verdict…

There won’t be any other time. You have always waited for time to do its work. But it won’t. Baal HaSulam said in this regard: One who rejects the moment will realize it years later. Right now we are simply obligated to work 24/7, upholding the unity at every moment. There’s no other option. This must be our personal and common, single objective.

Forget about me. You have everything you need, so take action, if that’s what you want. And if you don’t, then I have nothing to add. There are things a father cannot do for his son. The ball is in your court now. Everything is up to you.

What’s important is not the materials we hand out or the conversations about having to unite. This has to be conveyed sincerely from heart to heart. I hope you will accept this and feel it deep down. I hope you will attain prayer, a cry and mutual support. Good luck!

Question: The wisdom of Kabbalah claims to have the solution to all of Israel’s wars. What is the connection between these wars and Kabbalah?

Answer: On the whole, Kabbalah is the method of revealing the higher system of governance and providence over all reality. We’re talking about a system of Infinity that spans across five levels of “restriction” down to our world, and controls it.

Essentially, the wisdom of Kabbalah reveals this entire gigantic system, the level of Infinity and all that lies below: the levels of Adam Kadmon, Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya, down to our world. And it explains how these forces arrive from Above, from the level of Infinity, like spheres folded one into another. And as a result, our universe, Earth, and ourselves constitute the smallest sphere, which is also the focus of all these forces, of all the worlds along with everything that comprises them.

What is the purpose of this? To bring man to the desired path of development. To help him to develop via his own efforts and acquire a special desire, which is essentially the desire to become the master, one who understands, feels, and activates this entire system in place of the upper force.

Thus, all the things Nature sends our way are meant to awaken us to this—to push us to take the system’s activation into our own hands. In essence, that is what we reveal. However, in order to set this system in motion correctly, we need to learn and know a great deal; moreover, we ourselves need to upgrade, to correct ourselves. A gangster mustn’t be trusted with running a hospital. A crook mustn’t be tasked with running a bank. A person with vile inclinations mustn’t be made school principal.

In other words, the level of access to the spiritual worlds depends on the level of man’s development. By taking part in governance from Above, one takes upon oneself some part of it and activates it independently, making sure there is no difference between the commands coming down from Above and those passing through him.

The entire system is structured in a way that in the end we must undertake the governance of the level (world) of Infinity. We the people have to govern all of reality, including the degree of our world, to as if block any commands coming down from the Infinity. On the foundation of knowledge, understanding, and self-perfection we will correct ourselves to such an extent that we’ll truly be able to assume this role of governance and act in place of the upper force.

That is the process in general terms. And there are two options with which to lead us along:

• We can correct ourselves and slot into this system willingly, with acceptance, good sense, and determination, by igniting this fire within.
• Those upper forces of Nature that man should have replaced but didn’t pressure him, leading him through painful states.

This doesn’t mean we can already explain how and why the world is experiencing outbreaks of wars, pandemics, and other disasters. We are not familiar with the system; indeed, we are very far from being familiar with it. But if we were familiar, we would see that it is we who provoke all the problems, from the minor and personal to the great and global. We provoke them by not compensating the upper system, by not taking on the governance of reality in its place.

Question: What exactly is the purpose of the war for the nation of Israel? How does it facilitate the process of development?

Answer: As a rule, war leaves us with a negative impression. If the impression is a positive one, and we feel pride and the joy of victory, as it was after the Six Day War, for instance, then on one hand, it is good, but on the other, the deficiency from the former state of rapture is revealed over time. In the end, the Six Day War caused us great harm: We decided that everything was good and we didn’t need to work on our own relationships, to progress as a people, and correct ourselves.

Question: But in our wars we always defend against enemy attacks, being forced to fight so as to defend ourselves?

Answer: That is true. But we also need to see it from a different angle. By the late 19th century we have begun returning to the land of Israel, which, by the way, was called “Palestine” at the time. And ever since then the people that had lived here have had a problem with us. They also want to return to what they believe is their home.

If you look at the issue from the side, were we within our right to claim the territory of another nation, driving out a portion of it and settling here? On what grounds do we believe this land to be ours? On the grounds that our ancestors had lived here two thousand years ago? But it was they that had lived here, and not us.

What were the conditions of their living here? If we’re referring to history, let us check. It is said, quite simply: The Jewish people must be united as one man with one heart, by the principle of loving your neighbor as yourself. To prepare and carry out this condition, they needed forty years. Only then were they ready to enter the land of Israel, which became a place where we could live.

In the ancient times we drove seven nations from this land, and although this was a decree that came down from the Creator, it was also accompanied by a very serious discussion: Was it our right to act in such a manner?

On the whole, history shows that when we are truly united, then we live on this territory called the “land of Israel.” The era of the Temple was one of true unity among the children of Israel. But then came the descent, and we fell to brotherly strife, losing the connection between one another,meaning our spiritual degree. And that is why we were exiled from here to Babylon.

There we spent seventy years in exile and then, thanks to the events known as Purim, we were able to genuinely unite once again. How? We were faced with a dilemma: Either we would be destroyed, or we would unite as per the will of Mordecai and Esther, and thus defeat Haman and his retinue. We were successful, and returned to the land of Israel, rising in our unity to the degree of the Second Temple, albeit losing ten tribes in the process. Just look at the heavy price we pay for our disunion.

The unity of the Second Temple lasted only several years. In the time of Rabbi Akiva, new defects began manifesting. He did all he could, appealing to us to love thy neighbor as yourself, “Let’s do it! For otherwise we are doomed!” But it didn’t help. 24,000 of his students plunged into a true egoistic epidemic, a fratricidal war, and the Second Temple was subsequently ruined, driving the people back into exile.

So, if we are not united, we are not the nation of Israel. This has been the case since Abraham, who had gathered and led his group from Ancient Babylon, which represented essentially all of humanity at that time. Abraham invited to come along everybody who wanted to go to the land of Israel, to become as one man with one heart, to unite and reveal the upper force. As the Rambam writes, he was joined by five thousand followers, and he united them, laying the foundation of the nation thereby.

Therefore, at our very source we were given a very straightforward condition: no matter how different we may be, if we wish to become like the Creator, to aspire to Him (Israel stands for Yashar Kel — “straight to the Creator”), to acquire love and bestowal, in then we constitute that very notion of the nation of Israel. It is not inherited by birth. Rather, if a person undertakes this condition upon himself, he joins the nation of Israel, and if he does not, then he does not belong to them.

This means that the nation of Israel exists only in unity, only in the work towards unification, with the objective to become similar to the force of love and bestowal, the upper force.

Accordingly, the land of Israel is such only under the condition that the true nation of Israel inhabits it. If not, then it is Palestine, named after the Philistines that had lived here in the times of the first conquest three thousand years ago. In fact, without the nation of Israel being here, you can call it anything at all.

Getting back, in the late 19th century we were granted permission to come here, even though we had not gone through the “forty years in the desert,” —had not corrected ourselves and united. Moreover, we continued internecine infighting, as evidenced by the Altalena Affair and all that it entailed. Essentially, we arrived in this land in a state that’s actually pushing us to leave it.

Yet, despite the lack in preparation, we were allotted a certain time frame to correct ourselves. And if we accomplish this within said time frame, the land of Israel will become ours. Indeed, in such a case we will achieve a degree of unity of the nation of Israel, and the land will therefore correspond to its intended purpose. Such is the opportunity that we can put into effect.

So far, however, a different scenario is playing out. It’s been more than a century, and we have yet to realize the purpose of our return, have yet to understand what true nation of Israel should be like in its land. We remain nothing more than a collection of exiles, and this is not the land of Israel, for it has none of the moral principles or laws related to the notion I’m speaking now not about the laws of the Torah, but about the sole law governing our relationships: love thy neighbor as thyself. It must be a supreme canon for us.

If there’s no brotherly love among us, then instead of the good providence we suffer the distortions triggered by our faulty participation in the operation of the general system of forces. The results are clear: endless wars and problems. And the outcome is obvious: When the deadline passes for the opportunity we’ve been given, we’re going to need to leave this

Question: What exactly must the nation do concerning the principle of love thy neighbor as thyself? How do we correctly arrange the social systems, laws, and so on? Might it be enough to simply be a normal, prospering nation, and nothing more?

Answer: No. We can never be “normal” in the eyes of the world. Just the opposite, we have always been abnormal, always playing the role of strangers. There is but one condition presented to us—to unite and thus serve as an example for the whole world. That is the meaning of being a “light to the nations.”

Today we do not share a connection imbued with brotherly love. We are engaged in conflicts and competition among ourselves, we feel hatred, repulsion, indifference, and loathing for one another. This negativity goes deep down, and it is truly the cause of all wars and After all, we claim to be that same nation that came out of Ancient Babylon. So why do we not observe the laws upon which it was built?

The nation of Israel is possible only if we observe the condition of unity, by creating the appropriate mechanism of relationships in the entire society, and also by caring that the world come to unity as well. The global crisis is not accidental—it was caused precisely by disconnection. And whose fault is it that the world is lacking the right kind of adhesion?

Who’s depriving it of harmony in the relations between people and harmony with Nature? Only the nation of Israel. After all, it is this nation which must lead by example and teach others about unity.

And if we don’t, the nations of the world accuse us of robbery: “You have driven Arabs from this land, the people who used to live here, but you are not doing anything to justify it, you are not realizing your mission. We supported you ardently at first, thinking that your return will help you to actualize your main condition. But today we see that you’ve become a bone stuck in the throat of the world….”

One might think, why are we put to such a high standard? But we cannot view the nation of Israel through the typical criteria. Israel is special, and even though we try to be like everybody else, we are doomed to fail from the start. If you want to be like everybody else, don’t be Jewish.

Indeed, the mission of the nation of Israel is to be the good teacher for the world. And if that doesn’t happen, it will be accused for being a bad example and blamed for all the world’s problems. We have always been the butt of a natural, instinctive hatred, and that alone testifies of our special role. So, let us see what exactly we are capable of and what the nations are truly demanding of us.

We can only balance the situation with the right example of unification, which will allow us to resolve the crisis.

Question: What can we lean on to not be like everybody else? That is a difficult task.

Answer: Lean on the wisdom of Kabbalah. That is why it is being revealed in our world, and explaining what has to be done. With its help we can correct the nation of Israel and the whole world, for it allows us to use the upper force to arrange everything in proper order. It is indeed the pillar that will grant us confidence.

Question: What does it mean to carry out the mission of the people of Israel, to return to the religion?

Answer: This is not what is required. It is necessary only to begin to be involved with uniting the people. This is called the wisdom of Kabbalah, the wisdom of connection and unity. The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks only about this.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains the structure of the world and the great collective system that manages it. The upper higher system of management is designed to help people understand and attain it. And it is only possible by detaching from it and learning it gradually from this state.

It is precisely due to our division, separation, and shattered state that we slightly begin to discover this higher system of conduct,“as far as light excelleth darkness,” (Ecclesiastes 2:13). This system is singular, complete, integral, and analog; we must gradually build ourselves the same way within.

The moment we connect between us in a general common “circle” where we are all are equal, where all friends help each other and are connected together with love, then the higher system begins to act in a good way towards us and helps us. Then we advance towards the good.

But Israel is at the center of all humanity, at the foundation of all religions and faiths. And so, the moment we begin to advance towards the good by uniting to be like one person with one heart, we immediately pass this good power to the whole world.

The whole world also begins to feel itself as circular, linked. Suddenly everyone understands how wonderful it is to be in connection with others and how much individuality, competition, and our thirst for money and control harms us. On the contrary, it is much better to be equal and united together.

This attitude comes rom Israel and influences the entire world. All of humanity then begins to receive a round form like this. In this manner, instead of being a negative source, Israel becomes a source of good for the whole world.

Such a task stands before us: “becoming a light to the nations.” This is the main thing that we must do.

Certainly as long as missiles are falling upon us it is necessary to fight and defend ourselves, to stop them. But we must understand that the military operation itself will not lead to any solution. Everyone already understands this. We will have no place in this world if we remain as we are.

The army is imperative until we connect among us to the degree that Hamas will eliminate its missiles and tunnels itself, thanks to our influence. They are linked with us, and through our separation within the people of Israel, we invite their fire upon us.

That is how they unconsciously are fighting with the evil found within us. And the moment we transform our evil into good and cover ourselves with love, a protective dome of love instead of the Iron Dome anti-missile system, our enemies will become friends and will also want to join us and learn from us.

They all fiercely want to be with us, but through our internal separation we reject them, send them away, and produce hatred in them, and cause all the disasters in the world.

Question: What evil are you talking about? Other people in our position would have already annihilated such hostile neighbors. Instead we are healing our enemies in our hospitals at the height of the war.

Answer: This is not what they want from us at all. Our hospitals don’t interest them at all. They want to receive a new human nature so that they will participate together with us and the whole world. Then connection and love will prevail, creating a circle of unity.

Question: It’s obvious to everyone that we have reached a dead end and urgently need to take action. But it’s unclear exactly what kind of solution does Baal HaSulam offer, and what method do you propose to stop the system that launches rockets at us? Do you feel that military actions will not lead to anything?

Answer: I am not saying that we should not defend ourselves at all. We must react to attacks, but only in order to win some time, which would allow us to set out on the new path.

Question: Until a new wave of escalations begins?

Answer: If we start dealing with this problem correctly, the way our Torah directs us, then there will be no new wave. The Torah requires that we connect between ourselves. Currently we are now in the same situation like before Mount Sinai, and we must become like one man with one heart. If we unite, we will achieve success, and if not, it will be the place of our burial.

Comment: A lot of people in the Israeli society benefit from the schism in the nation. Everyone hates everyone: Some hate the Russians, others hate natives from Eastern countries, and yet others hate immigrants from Europe. This split is not disappearing, but only getting bigger. Lawyers take bribes, police is negligent of their duties, the entire system is deteriorating….

Answer: This is a clear sign that we urgently need to work on our correction since the root of the problem is specifically in us.

Comment: The Internet is filled with hostile attacks in our direction. We are surrounded by universal hatred and under rocket fire.

Answer: This is exactly the state that is most suitable for correction. Everything was revealed. It became clear that the entire system is broken, and we fail in all areas. We cannot build ourselves.

We are still being held together by the pressure that the hatred of our enemies exerts on us. But if it were not for the neighbors surrounding us from every direction with drawn swords, yearning to destroy us in our own country, we would have started killing each other.

We can only thank those who hate us for the fact that they are holding us together, like nuts in a bag. Otherwise we would have long dispersed, leaving no memory of the nation of Israel which is able to rise. We haven’t disappeared yet among seven billion people only thanks to the external hatred.

We are at the final point, a second before correction. And this correction will happen either through blows or through our reason that can help us take the process of correction into our own hands and to advance through the good path. We will either go by the path of Light and acceleration of time (Achishena) or by the path of suffering, the natural course of development (Beito).

The path of Light implies that we will begin to educate ourselves. There is no other possibility to reach correction but education of all. It is necessary to bring the method of correction to the entire nation and explain what it means to be the chosen people, why we are so hated, and what we need to do in order to really move forward and advance all of humanity.

Everyone has to discover what nature is demanding from us. The word “nature” has the same numerical value (Gematria) as the word “Creator.” It is the same exact force. Each person needs to discover the true Torah, which is given for our own correction through the help of the Light that Reforms.

Torah is the Light that Reforms, and our nature is the evil inclination, our egoism. It is written, “I created the evil inclination and the Torah as addition to it” since with its help we correct egoism. The Light in the Torah, meaning the force of love and bestowal, corrects us. This is why we need to learn how to correct ourselves and to pass this method to the entire world.

These are very simple, easy things. It is said that “the entire Torah is a very simple pursuit.” And it is truly so, if only a person does not confuse it with something else, but does only what is necessary. We must do it.

When you come to the people and start explainןמע this, you will see how readily everyone will agree, how much they will want to listen to you and to join you.

Question: In the modern age of universal communications, mothers are used to being in touch with their children 24/7. But now your son goes off to the army and then to the battlefield, and his phone number suddenly becomes unavailable for an indefinite period of time. How can a mother deal with this situation? She knows that her little boy is at war, but she can’t even get in touch with him.

Answer: The only thing that can help here is unity, through which the actual force of Nature comes to us and makes up for what is missing.  Yes, her son’s phone is turned off for several days now because he is at the front. And now, by uniting with others, the mother can feel her little boy even more than during a phone conversation.

How? It’s because new frequencies get added to our sensations within the common unity, our feelings and mind expand, replacing a telephone connection with the true connection.

What does it mean to connect or unite with one another? What does it mean to be as one man with one heart? If people are united this way, can they really be separated by thousands of miles between them? No, because now they are one—they have one heart, and they no longer need telephones to maintain this connection.

In the same way, if the son is at war now, his mother is still with him—she feels him at every moment. On the other hand, when mothers attain the state described above, there will be no more war since everyone will be united and life will become peaceful.

Therefore, the mother should first of all attend our workshop—a place where people sit together in a circle and unite, where together with them she actively generates the force of unity for the entire nation of Israel. Working to achieve unity between everyone is the best protection a mother can provide to her son.

She persuades others, “Let’s sit together, let’s unite, let’s find out how good we feel in this unity, what kind of force we awaken by it—the force of unity instilled in Nature. We become not just a nation, like everyone else, but the nation of Israel. So let’s do this not only during times of war, but all the time. Let’s organize so that this mutual connection will always be present between us and will pass from us to all the nations. This is, indeed, what they expect from us.”

This is, essentially, a mother’s only chance to protect her sons at the front. By doing this, she awakens the Light that can enter the vessels. The Light is the force of unity hidden within Nature, which is a single mechanism. It’s the force that unites, fills, and develops everything, the force that contains all of the particular forces within. It is called the Light, the Creator, or the upper one, which all essentially mean the same thing. And the force will be expressed in a good way if we become identical to it: It is one, and we have to become one as well.

This is the origin of the rule, “As one man with one heart.” If we follow it, this force will fill us and maintain us in the state of well-being, similar to it. And on the contrary, when we divide and don’t allow it to dwell in us and fill us, all kinds of problems arise, including wars and other disasters.

Besides, whether we want it or not, we are connected to all humanity, being at its center. Therefore, when we unite, this force spreads from us to everyone. Then the nations have no choice but to be kind to us. On the other hand, if we don’t unite with each other, the force of unity does not reach humanity and then they blame us for their troubles. And they are right to do so.

We have been faced with this condition for several thousand years now, ever since the times of Abraham and Moses, and to this day. All Kabbalists of all generations have talked about just one thing: The nation of Israel needs to unite.

A person who joins a round-table discussion can immediately feel the force that’s hidden inside the unity. We just have to unite by the rules that actually allow us to come closer to each other: The discussion has to be held without arguments or objections, everyone is equal, no one is higher or lower than others, everyone supports each other, everyone is amicable toward each other, and no one argues with or challenges the speakers. All of us together are striving to reach unity, to hear and feel every person so that the common, unified desire, the single thought or idea will be affirmed at the center of the circle.

Then after an hour we really do discover that this force is present among us, adding a new spirit, a new state, renewing our mind and feelings, and allowing us to look at life in a new way.

Afterwards, by developing this approach, we will feel our connection with all nations, with all of nature. We will become the masters of the entire mechanism we are in and will reveal how, why and for what purpose we are alive in the world. We will finally gain control over our lives. Otherwise, as things stand, we’ve lost all purpose and desire for life.

A mother goes through all of this in the round-table discussions, which awaken a special force of unity, the Light. And because her son is connected to her, he also becomes subjected to the influence of this force, which protects him, becoming a “dome of peace” for him. The feeling of warmth and confidence comes to him so that nothing bad can befall him.

That is how the universal force of Nature works, and it can’t be any other way. Even if you ended up in a lion’s den, you’d come out untouched because this force unites, “befriends” everyone on the still, vegetative, animate, and human levels. Then no one can touch you and nothing bad can happen to you. This is the only thing we need to add among us, and then we won’t have to worry about anything else. Even if Gaza is brimming with tunnels, you won’t have to worry—no one will use them. They won’t be able to and won’t have the desire to.

Question: Are you saying that the soldiers’ mothers need to believe in God?

Answer: God is Nature, and Nature is a single force that governs us. It produced the Big Bang, and it is guiding the process of evolution. All the laws or forces of the universe are included in that force. But rather than believing in it, we need to reveal and attain it, and work with it.

For that we need the wisdom of Kabbalah. With its help, we become scientists that discover and use the laws of Nature.

Question: So any mother can activate this “defense” for her son, even a mother who doesn’t believe in anything?

Answer: Of course. Moreover, it doesn’t matter what nation she belongs to. Muslims, Christians and Jews can sit at a round-table together, along with inveterate atheists, and none of that will interfere with the unity. The most important thing is to get together and follow the rules. Then the environment will influence every person and everyone will be included in it with the sole purpose of revealing the force of unity between them and from that moment on, to aim their efforts at the world’s well-being.

This will be the best protection, and not only for the sons, but for all humanity, allowing it to tread toward a wonderful goal, toward peace and perfection.

That is how we will open up a new world. The force of unity allows us to see our world inside and out, showing us clearly how to rearrange our lives. A mother who takes part in a circle begins to use this power, control it and work with it.

This is also true for families whose sons have fallen in battle.

There’s no other way. There’s no other source of support besides this single force, which lies above our nature, time and bodies. It is an eternal force, and when it influences us, we suddenly discover that there is no such thing as frailty and death, that our sons are alive even if their bodies have died.

You rise to a different dimension and feel that nothing disappears, that everything remains with us. Inside the unity, we feel all the souls fused together with us into one. At the end of the day, a mother really can feel her son even when he’s thousands of miles away. And if we unite, this connection becomes expressed even stronger, resulting in all generations—past and present—surfacing in our perception simultaneously. Time has no power—even modern science confirms how ephemeral this notion is.

Question: Does an Israeli mother have the capacity to make this war be the last one?

Answer: Yes. A woman is capable of anything, and a mother—more than anyone else, especially today, when masses of people going out into the streets can win the government’s favor. If mothers unanimously demand unity and integral education for the nation, then by uniting our hearts, we will win the war—a war we’re fighting not against Hamas, but against our own egoism.

By uniting above the egoism, we lift Israel and the whole world along with us to a different level of existence. And all of this happens by the power of a mother’s love.

Question: If the mothers of soldiers who are at war right now call out for the nation to unite, will this help their sons and the country as a whole?

Answer: Real social unity is not beautiful words or the usual “prescriptions.” The precise instructions on how to achieve it come from the wisdom of Kabbalah, which is the authentic, profound wisdom, a true teaching that was hidden for thousands of years in order to come out today and provide us with the method of real unity.

In order to use it, people have to take part in our workshops, where they will learn how to address people’s hearts so they’ll want to unite, so they’ll understand that unity is an imperishable goal which we have to renew at every moment. By doing so, we rise above the forces that separate us and get the opportunity to become one whole.

And most important: The more we strive for this, the more efforts we make to become as one, the more powerful is the effect of the force of Nature.

From below, we provide it with the opportunity to appear between us, to influence and unite us. We let the Light in so it can turn us into a single whole, following the principle, “As one man with one heart.” Then, to the extent we unite, we become a “Light onto the nations”—we liberate this force or Light through us and pass it on to all humanity. And then suddenly, without even knowing why, people begin being amicable toward us. Suddenly, they voice their sympathy, wishing to help us and fulfill our every wish. And our only wish is unity—nothing else. Like the prophet Isaiah wrote, they will lift us up on their shoulders and bring us to Jerusalem.

That is what we have to do. And mothers are a tremendous force in this process. For example, if they were to go out to demonstrations demanding for their sons to come back, no one would be able to resist it.

However, the demand has to be something else—unity. This not only provides a shield for the sons to fight the enemy, but also turns the enemies, those who hate them, into friends.

Thus, we will eliminate the very possibility of war and prevent the very conditions in which a conflict can emerge, which is every mother’s wish. That is exactly what will happen if we unite. This is the only thing that can protect us from war and bring about unity among all the nations.

Question: There is a war going on in Israel and many mothers are heartbroken, waiting for their sons’ return. A mother is always a mother, no matter what country she lives in. And yet, what is special about Jewish mothers? They are, after all, part of the nation of Israel, with the idea of unity enshrined in their core. What differentiates a Jewish mother from others?

Answer: The area of her responsibility.

Many countries send their soldiers off to war, while mothers’ hearts break with unforgiving sorrow.

However, a Jewish mother has a weapon allowing her to fight for her sons—unity. By inciting the Israeli society to reach unity and cohesion, or at least to set out on this path, she thus actively defends her children. And the more convincingly she brings the message of unity to the nation, the more infallible is the protection she provides for them.

Granted, it has to be real unity—the kind that the wisdom of Kabbalah talks about when it explains that unity comes to fruition by means of the Light that Reforms, or in other words, through a special force of Nature. This is because Nature is, in reality, a unified Force, and we have to awaken it so can transform our hatred into love. It is written that love will cover all sins, meaning all the differences and strife between us. Therefore, rather than the Iron Dome, what we really need is the dome of love spread above us. It, and nothing else, will deflect all of the assaults.

If only Israeli mothers would realize that this is our true weapon, I am certain that this war would be our last.

Question: Is it possible to conduct an experiment at home in order to see that reality changes for the better?

Answer: You can invite a couple of friends and organize a circle that operates according to the laws of the corrected world. You should feel as one man in one heart and love one another as yourself, as it is written, “All of Israel are responsible for one another,” and “That which you hate, do not do to your friend.”

If you implement these principles among you, then in the connection between you, you will begin to feel a different state and a different life.

Thanks to the changes that you make inside yourself, all the reality around you also changes. There is no other solution. The solution will not come from an army, no matter how much effort, force, money, pain and anger you put into it. This isn’t our weapon.

It is because you are connected to the whole system, which actually depends on the Israeli nation since only they can influence the whole world. By not influencing the world to be better, we actually summon all the afflictions that hit us.

Connection is the only means that can correct everything, but I cannot explain exactly where you should connect in order to correct a specific state. In order to do so, we should speak in terms of Partzufim and Sefirot.

If the Israeli nation advanced just a little towards connection and not just under external pressure, we could change the world for the better. We must bring the revelation of the upper force that is good and benevolent to the world so that it will dwell among all the people.

It is actually the Israeli nation that should bring about such a revelation, and this is called bringing Light to the nations of the world. If we could understand that this is all our work and our mission and the mission of the Israeli nation in the land that must be as one man in one heart, we would get rid of all the problems and receive the respect and gratitude of the entire world.

Question: The role of the nation of Israel is to direct the world towards bestowal. How does this fit with the principle that it is impossible to correct anything in the world besides myself?

Answer: The world is perfect, meaning that I cannot correct any person besides myself. I cannot sit compulsively on someone and oblige him to change, like the Socialists did in Russia. I will not gain anything with it.

The only thing that I am prepared to do is to explain to a person what is happening. And if he decides that this is truly right and he wants to change his fate, then he will change.

We are talking from the side of our history, from the books of the Kabbalists upon which we rely. We have nothing else upon which to rely. We see that everything that is happening today is written in books, and so we have the strength to think that tomorrow will also happen as it is written in them.

If this was right yesterday and today, it is logical to suppose that the Kabbalists spoke the truth about what will happen tomorrow also. So I want to hear their voice and ensure for myself and my children a better future.

And besides this, they explain everything that is happening so logically, and in particular what is happening to the people of Israel, the reasons for anti-Semitism in the whole world. There are a number of reasons that it is impossible for us to relax and wait.

I don’t intend to correct anything; indeed, I cannot change a person and the world. I only show him what is written in our sources and don’t compel him to believe in something with blind faith. I explain the opinion of the wisdom of Kabbalah, which scientific investigators also support more and more day by day, and he will decide for himself.

I don’t convince him to accept our method, and it doesn’t belong to me either. If I write about some natural law, I am not obliged to add that I love it and join with it. Answer: No! Through the connection between them they build such a shield on themselves that protects them so much that their haters become friends.
