Question: If the external public has no great desire to know about recipes for happiness, how can one teach harmoniously, without coercion, to work from a request without pressure? How is it possible to feel this request? Otherwise we are going out to the external public with integral fanaticism.

Answer: You are doing everything wrong; it’s as if you are feeding the infant too much and he spits everything out immediately because it doesn’t give him any pleasure; it doesn’t leave him with a good taste. First it is always necessary for there to be a desire; and only after that comes the fulfillment that matches it. If you are working on overdrive and forcibly shoving a spoon into their mouths, then this will only generate disgust for your method.

Never do this! The strategy must be finely thought out. How do you bring forth a constantly increasing appetite, how do you turn them so that they will always be concerned:  from where, why, etc.?

You gradually  generate all these questions without giving the answers, and after that you sit them in a circle where they will search for the answers themselves. This is a game, a courtship, a flirting. You are producing a new Kli, a desire in them.

What is the flirting for? It is to reveal mutual desires for that type of fulfillment you want to give them. This is very subtle work in the fine tuning of the person; the identification within him of the required yearnings, which he may not have had before.

This must be approached gradually with some kind of hidden secret that must be unraveled, as if you are looking for a treasure on some deserted island. You need to think of all this from the start; you cannot throw it directly in their “faces.”

You, like a guide, only direct the person, move him, and walk beside him. But if he hasn’t made his own way, didn’t suffer from desire, and didn’t enjoy the fulfillment, then you will have done nothing.

For example, the strongest physiological pleasure is sexual contact. Imagine that you must bring the crowd to ecstasy, in that you warm them in the right direction. The first half of the work is that you wake them up, you go around them like a bride dancing around the groom. And the second half is their reaction, for you brought the groom to ecstasy and now he works for the bride himself.

What is this flirting? The first part is initiated by one side as he warms up the partner, and in the second part, he completes the mutual enjoyment for both of them.

Question: How do you see the next level of this world and of our place in it? Will every factory and every kindergarten have its expert in the integral method?

Answer: These are complex questions that are difficult to answer unequivocally. Everything depends on the particular circumstances and even their regions. There are countries in which development can only be from below because the lower classes are suffering and want better lives, while the upper classes are deaf to their desires and longings, for them this is, at best, a temporary whim. Therefore, it is impossible to say in general terms where and how the internalization of the integral method will happen.

I think that in every part of the globe this will be arranged in its own way for the mentalities of the people; the social and economic conditions in various countries are different. There cannot be one template for everyone.

It is difficult to say how this will take place in Russia. I don’t even know how it will be in Israel.

Our teaching is always like water, living water that gives life. We simply need to consistently go forward like water that fills the lowest places and after that rises; where it succeeds in penetrating there it goes through. I think this metaphor applies to our dissemination.

In other words, we need to go to those places where we don’t encounter resistance, where they accept us with a blessing and not because they want to get something from it, to distort our method, to change it and draw their own conclusions: personal, factional, and so forth. Because in the end those will begin to stop us and promote themselves from within.

We need to go to those places where people truly want to hear us, where they are close to being convinced of the end of the present world, in the collapse of the private, competitive, capitalist system that is rapidly becoming bankrupt in the West, especially in Spain and Italy.

In principle, all of us are witnesses to the death of this system. Therefore, we need to understand that our associates are those people who suffer from competition, from capitalism, from all the negativity that exists in it. They have a yearning for equality, for a normal and comfortable existence, etc. These are usually low income populations, and not necessarily elements of a deprived class, among them are many intellectuals who feel the general crisis on themselves to a complete degree.

How do we go forward? I do not know. But it seems to me, that we will move to libraries and the like, where we can be included in the work of these institutions.

I do not believe that we can work from above. It is possible that this will succeed, but only if the authorities would be very interested in us. Everything depends on desire: the desire determines everything. The masses have the desire to improve their state somehow, and the authorities to calm down the masses. If they both become convinced that our method gives them this result, then we will succeed.

Question: The general public loves the general rules of the roundtables for workshops very much. Can they apply them in life and at work, as a form of mutual cooperation between people?

Answer: In every case, if they try to apply the integral method at home, in the family, when problems pop up at work, in a collective, during discussions in meetings, with this they will absolutely prove that the method works.

The question is: Can they reach the “raspberry ball” in the center of the circle themselves, that is, the awakening of the general characteristic of bestowal and love? I am sure that they can’t because they don’t have contact with the higher power. Contact can only be for those who learn the wisdom of Kabbalah. Therefore they need us.

But gradually this will merge into a single system. After all, in Kabbalah, what are the names of all kinds of qualities: “Sefirot,” “Partzufim,” “Worlds”?—This is about the system of connections between us.

When this system begins to be discovered, people suddenly will discover that this is called this, and that is called that. “From where do you know that this is called this?” “What, it isn’t understood?” And it is not because a person reads this in a book, in general he cannot open it, but he will simply say: “This is called ‘Arich Anpin’.”

For all these names appear from the discovery of the inner links between people. Until then they didn’t exist. Adam HaRishon was the first who brought the language of the upper worlds. In principle, this is not even a language, but a code, like in a computer.

Therefore, sooner or later people will perceive all of this. But in spite of it all, we must guide them, without us nothing will be realized.

Question: There is a complicated question about the contact between the manager and the subordinates. How is it possible to become the subordinate’s friend if I am his boss?

Answer: First of all, we prepare the workers, discussing with them how it is possible to act towards the manager as with a friend?

In addition, the manager needs to remain as manager. Life is built according to hierarchy. But we need to create these mutual relationships in the collective, i.e., that on the one hand, from the side of the worker, there won’t be fear of the manager since mutual assistance is the guarantee for effective work in our plant.

Let’s suppose that you can approach the manager like a friend and say, “Listen, this is not working. I think it would be better  to do it this way.” And he would accept you, would understand, would listen to your advice, and would appreciate your advice because at your level from the point of view of the executor, you know more than he does.

Mutual assistance like this will create, not only a good atmosphere in the plant but economic benefits too. We will begin to make the collective equal by assigning a part of the profits to help the most needy. Here we are talking about physical equality between people, between friends. On the one hand, they are working under a manager, and on the other hand, they are friends. And we need to attract those who participate actively during the process of integration.

It may happen that we might discover people in the collective who are not needed and even cause damage. If a person doesn’t participate in the integral system and isn’t beneficial to the collective, not from the view point of his production or from the viewpoint of his cooperation, then we should rid ourselves of him.

To create contact between the manager and the workers under him is not a simple endeavor. One needs to do it very carefully through all kinds of games. Let’s suppose we now are playing with friends. All are identical, “John, how are you? Not Mr. John Smith, but John, how are you?” And then we play as the manager and the worker, and all instantly changes.

A game is a serious matter. In this we train people to work simultaneously at two levels. It is specifically what happens with us with the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah: There is knowledge and there is “faith above reason.” We must do this so that they will feel these two levels without each interfering with each other.

Now they are playing as if everyone is equal, turning to the manager in a friendly way, not being rude, but in a friendly manner. And afterward, in the same way, in a friendly way, playing the manager and the worker under him, thus expressing on the one hand, all the complaints towards our boss at work, and on the other hand, suggesting advice in order to create a good atmosphere for the collective because it also depends on the management.

They make suitable suggestions so that their company will become integral in terms of performance and in terms of the general atmosphere because it is based on these two parameters. They will begin to discuss them both as equal partners and as a manager and workers.

Question: How is it possible to tell people about the impending crisis correctly?

Answer: First of all, don’t frighten people in any way; simply convey everything on a scientific, logical basis, and connect all the facts together into a single system so that people will understand that we are involved with a systemic crisis of human nature, the opposition of a person with the surrounding world.

It is necessary to put a system into their hands, to bring examples of specific particular cases of the crisis: in health, in education, in information, in culture, in science, in art, in economics, in finance, in all the social realms of society.

We don’t touch upon politics, this is not important to us, for we don’t intend to influence it; we need to educate the people. A change in a person’s values will transform the society. If we correct people, they themselves will find the optimal way of changing society to a good condition.

So we need to show the crisis only through specific examples that are close to people, without scaring them. The main thing is to give people a systematic picture that the crisis is a result of the opposition of our ego to the general altruistic force of nature. When a person understands this, then the entire mosaic will connect together for him.

But it is best not to mention any negative facts that they don’t come from us. During the workshops we give people leading questions and they will tell each other, in discussion together, through accepting each other, about the existence of the crisis and will draw the appropriate conclusions.

Question: Why don’t you say that the method of integral education and information is our higher level, where the entire world must become a group? And of course, in this case, we must descend from our spiritual height, find language suitable for the general public, adapt, and rewrite the Kabbalistic articles, to find common ground with the aspirations of the masses so that there will be a basis for union with the entire world, to combine their desires with us, and so we go out with broad dissemination of integral education and information?

People who have been with you for a long time are leaving the wisdom of Kabbalah—deleting their accounts, “We are not with you!”—because of integral education, because they are in the dark; they don’t understand what this is for. They cannot appreciate your idea, and it seems to them that you surround yourself with naïve people who dance in your presence to the sound of the music, and everything is good. (I wanted to upset everyone, but I haven’t succeeded).

Answer: It is difficult to explain to people who study the wisdom of Kabbalah (i.e., that have a desire and within it, a “point in the heart”) that the integral union of all of humanity is the correction of the shattering of Malchut (the correction of Adam, the only soul that was created), even though they are studying this through the system of worlds, and I explain this to my students throughout the world in every lesson!

The idea is that the person who is involved with the wisdom of Kabbalah must evolve to understand the method of correction. After all, through studying the wisdom of Kabbalah, he develops his point in the heart and only when it reaches a particular development will he understand that spiritual attainment, meaning, attainment within him of the characteristic of bestowal, takes place only according to the degree that he connects with a group, to its center, with its common characteristic of Arvut (guarantee), and this could take years of intensive study.

Then, when a person understands the need to unite with a group and he works on this, he will feel that he has no need or desire for connection, and if, in spite of it all he continues to study and to act within a group, the additional efforts will lead him to an understanding that he can get the aspiration to unite in a group in order to discover the Creator from an outer circle of people if he begins to attract them toward unity. Reaching this understanding also could take several years, and then he understands that he needs to study the wisdom of Kabbalah in order to work in a group and integral education in order to work with the world. It is possible to decrease this time only through blindly carrying out the instructions of the teacher. Yet, only particular individuals are prepared to do this.

Those people toward whom we turn are another matter. They only have a need to organize this life (the desires of this world without a point in the heart), and therefore, they can quickly and easily understand and accept the method of integral education and information.

Question: According to our experience, there are circumstances where, while we are still sitting in the integral circle, one of the participants begins to feel nervous, aggressive, and hatred. What should we do if someone expresses irritation by what the others say? Should he hide it, be silent, or let off steam in the circle?

Answer: There is no need to let off steam, but rather, just talk about how you feel, and the people in the circle need to clarify why this is happening. After all, a new stream of ego is penetrating into you, and suddenly you began to look at a person not objectively, but through your new egoistic desire. You don’t like him, he annoys you; it is not important what. So now you should clarify with the help of the correct ego how to raise yourself to the next level.

At the moment, you are not in command of yourself. You cannot remember that this is done intentionally. Therefore, you need to turn to the members of the workshop for help, but only if this doesn’t conflict with the general flow so that you will not begin to divert the others from the main topic when you describe how repulsive everyone is to you.

Question: What is the mechanism for clarifying this state? How does this take place?

Answer: After the person gives us part of how he feels, we need to bring him to awareness, to raise him to our level.

After all, nothing is by chance. He got some ego to help us, too. He is found together with us in the same network; he is linked to us. It cannot be that, suddenly, the ego jumped into him, and he needs to swallow it. Since we are found with him in the same system, you see that, somehow, he needs to convey this to us. You see, with the help of this ego, all of us can ascend. We need to look at this process as our guidance from above.

Question: What is the mechanism to clarify this condition? How does this happen?

Answer: So, he says, “Guys, I am torn apart; everything is boiling in me,” and everyone must react. We begin to discuss why and for what purpose this was done. We relate to this as to an objective reason for all of us since we are in the same network, and this touches everyone. At the moment that we are sitting around one table and are gathered together, that’s it. There is nothing personal.

This situation was given to us so that, by working together, we would rise above the ego of our friend. Through conversation, by working on the situation, agreeing that there is nothing bad in nature, that all this is for the sake of our development, that, through the states of the friend, nature is presenting to us an example of its evolution. We transform the negative, egoistic outburst of the friend into something positive, and thanks to him, we rise.

Perhaps in this case it is not necessary to take up any other topic for the workshop. We turn to discussing this situation in a conscious manner, and this will be the best solution for us. We all can ascend. After all, it is clear to us that the idea is not about the friend who is sitting there and boiling; rather, all this comes to us from the upper management in order to give us an opportunity for ascent.

Question: In an integral circle sometimes there is the dynamic of a person who does not engage with the problems of others, but wants to constantly pull the attention of the group to himself, to use the circle to resolve his own inner discomfort. By this, he breaks the effect of the circle. How should one work with a person like this?

Answer: There are many different techniques to balance the circle. Therefore, on one hand, we constantly need to remind everyone about the conditions of the work in the circle, and on the other hand, we should understand this person, his nature.

Take this example and discuss it. How does the ego show itself in each one of us? What is my main, external egoistic characteristic? In what ways do I express myself as an egoist? Someone doesn’t let others speak, and that woman sits quietly and doesn’t show any action. The third person doesn’t say a word, but at the end, blurts out such an assessment of what is killing everyone else, and that one sits there red as a lobster, and now it seems that he will tear everyone to pieces or explode, and so forth.

In other words, we discuss how our external ego is revealed and how we should with care and love, bit by bit build it with the help of everyone, and specifically by using it, by our loving the negative attributes of our friend, rise above it. There is no need to say that the negative attributes of the friend are the reflections of my own attributes; that is a very high level. At least, in the meantime, explain it in this way to them.

Question: When we begin to work with people in the area of integral education, do we put emphasis on the method itself or on the group of ten in which the integral force is revealed?

Answer: On the group of ten in which the people who receive integral education and training begin to discover this method themselves. After all, we know how much it enters and remains in a person. Thus, the significance of verbal and conceptual conveyance disappears.

People must feel everything themselves and reach those conclusions that we want to teach them, themselves. Therefore, all the questions we ask during the course of the workshop must be directed towards this, for this will produce the most reliable result.

They will suddenly begin to understand: “Yes, this must be so,” and we immediately ask them, “And why not otherwise?” And they will convince themselves and us with the integral conclusion that they have reached: It is definitely necessary to agree with what another person says, and I only supplement him, and the one who comes after me supplements me, and so on.

In other words, all of us must reach some kind of common opinion that we accept, not that is imposed upon us and not crushed into us during the process of some of cunning dialogue or political persuasion; rather, it becomes the opinion of everyone without exception. How is it possible to find an opinion like this in which everyone will specifically feel it as my solution? It is not that I concede; they don’t convince me; rather, it exists in the same form as I express it. And then this will be integral unity.

After this everyone reaches a common opinion that we should solve everything on an equal basis, according to those characteristics that nature gave each one. This is to say, the equality of the people can only be conditional. And so on. Thus, the students should produce all the common integral laws on their own.
