Question: We are discussing the next step in building the center of the group. We would like to review the current state. Today each friend has his own pain, his own desire, and each sees the further correction of the group in his own way. And everyone is right. But how does all of this resolve into one whole? How do we actually upgrade ourselves to a new version?

Answer: You need to finally feel that you are at the point of choice, at a fateful decision. All generations are looking at you, and right now you are determining the future and if it will it go through the path of hastening or through the natural path, in its time.

And certainly, as a result of this, all things and events will unfold one way or the other in the land of Israel and in the world.

We need to realize that we are that point through which Light can pass into our world. Therefore, everything depends on how seriously we approach our role as the transition link. Our unity must be genuine.

There is no help here from the upper or from me because everything is handed over to you, and it is up to you to create this unity. You need to decide how we will make ourselves equivalent with the Creator.

Above all, we need to connect to Him. Our dissemination, too, needs to stem only from adhesion with Him. I am seeing that otherwise we will not be successful. Yes, we are reaching out to people, but we need to deliver genuine Light to them in a way that they will become connected to us and cling to us as a baby to a mother. And likewise—the whole world.

There is a willingness for it, but we are not yet connected to the Creator so we cannot serve as a vessel of reception or as support for the people of Israel and the world. Today’s situation is such that we are obliged to establish a connection from both sides and are obliged to reach mutual guarantee, above with the Creator and below with the whole world.

You must take the connection between you very seriously. Whoever is not ready for it, even in the slightest bit, has no place here. After all, if we do not unite, nothing will hold up and all the work we’ve done will amount to nothing.

Therefore, we need to work on purifying and uniting the common vessel, checking daily and  in every second, how you are progressing along the path. This is very, very serious.

After all, we advance either through the 49 gates of impurity or through the 49 gates of Holiness. Herein lies the danger that threatens us in Egypt. So right now the choice is in our hands.

You cannot begin a new day the same way you did last week. No, a new desire and a new approach is needed. This is not in words, but in feelings and in the mind. Accordingly, we will merit either a good or a bad attitude from both directions, from above and from below.

Throughout all of history, the people of Israel have experienced pressure from above and below. And now, Israel refers to us, the group that is entitled to propel the world forward either in its time or through acceleration.

We need to change ourselves completely and demonstrate in every moment a serious approach to the work through responsibility and mutuality. I repeat that whoever does not take mutual responsibility seriously has no place here. This group does not accept everyone indiscriminately but only those whose hearts ache with concern.

It does not matter how many people remain here. Let it be ten, but this ten will be bonded tightly, will be strong, connected to the upper Light, and will be able to conduct Light through itself into the world. And conversely, there is no benefit from a large number of people who are not united and not connected with the upper Light.

This is why we need to break away, free ourselves from all illusory pursuits and work only on connection in order to reveal the upper force within this connection.

Let’s hope that we already understand this and will begin to act. I very much hope that we will offer a response to that opportunity that the entire world has been awaiting for thousands of years.

Our mission is to convey the message to as many people as possible. Baal HaSulam wrote about how much he suffered when he saw poor people wandering the streets and not knowing anything about the Creator and His control. If they knew about Him, they treated him improperly. Baal HaSulam’s dream was to reveal this information to people.

Thus, we have to reach everyone and make everyone an active part in connection with the Creator. The whole Israeli nation has to unite and to connect with the upper force in order to become the channel that conveys the Light. Today there are no restrictions and everyone should know about it.

Question: Is it true that in the discussion circles what is most convincing to people is not the arguments, rationale, or emotions, but the warm atmosphere in the circle?

Answer: There is a certain force in these discussions that operates on people. Even if only a small number of people participate in these discussions, it already spreads throughout the nation like a good “metastases” that spreads a new feeling.

A new state is appearing now not only in Israel but all over the world. It is a totally irrational state and the Israeli nation is irrational like its history.

Anti-Semitism, the attitude of the all the nations of the world towards Israel, is also totally irrational. After all, how can it be explained logically that such an enlightened and cultured people as the Germans committed the Holocaust.

There is no sensible explanation for that and it has nothing to do with religion. It isn’t an argument between Judaism and Christianity; look at how positively the Pope speaks about Judaism. He loves Israel while billions of people who follow him hate the Jews. The upper providence operates so that everything will seem totally irrational.

Therefore, we shouldn’t fear the fact that it makes no sense. We should only dress in the senselessness of the world and everything will take on the right and true form. In fact, all the nations will see that we manage this senselessness and that we have the explanation for everything, that there is a basis and a way to reveal all.

We can finally explain the reason for anti-Semitism to everyone, the conditions for the existence of the Israeli nation that will allow it to stay on the world map. We will be able to explain the special role of this nation, why it has undergone different ordeals throughout history, what the Torah actually says, and what the essence of all the religions and beliefs is.

Abraham laid the foundation for all the religions; they are all called the Abrahamic religions. They are the result of the “gifts” he sent to the East with the sons of his concubines. It is time to solve world’s problems.

We have entered a new era, and before us is to fully open this field of work.

Question: Only two groups are interested in the Creator: religious people or great scientists who study nature, people like Einstein who are trying to understand whether an upper force exists and are trying to find it. But all the other people aren’t interested in the Creator at all. How does He affect the daily life of an ordinary person?

Answer: This question has nothing to do with whether a person is religious or not. He lives and goes through different phases of development throughout his life together with all of humanity. If he discovers and knows at least according to which laws he and all of humanity develop, he will be able to manage his life more successfully.

By knowing what is expected the next day or two days in advance, where everything is moving to and advancing, he will be able to manage better. Suppose you wanted to know which profession is better for your son when he finishes school. Everything will be clear to you: how to study, what to study, what is better to buy. Everything will be known in advance since you will discover the general plan according to which you develop and you will be included in its stream.

Therefore, the revelation of the Creator is essential for every human being. Today we experience so many failures because we operate blindly. All of humanity is acting blindly despite all the high technology, the great sufferings it has undergone, and the rich bitter experience it has accumulated, all because it doesn’t know the plan of nature.

No one is expecting us to bow to the upper force like in religion. We have to discover it and to get to know it in order to ease our life and to prepare our children for an even better life. Otherwise life will become worse from one generation to the next.

Our children’s life will undoubtedly be much worse than ours. Fifty or sixty years ago we thought that life would gradually improve and that humanity would make new discoveries and achieve greater successes, that there would be no more world wars, and that the world would be a wonderful place. But suddenly we see that everything is actually the opposite.

Attaining the Creator is actually attaining nature, attaining the general plan. This opens our eyes and allows us to see the world we are actually living in, who manages it, and the network we live in. All that helps us become more successful, which is what humanity needs so much these days since it suffering.

We feel that we are increasingly more connected among us in global connections and don’t know how to break free. The EU now wants to break apart after many unsuccessful attempts to unite, but that will harm all the countries. This is all because they don’t know how to unite correctly so that it will be good for everyone.

The plan of how to connect to the good is called the wisdom of Kabbalah. I recommend it to everyone. After all, every person wants to succeed in life and the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to do so. This will be absolute success, which will not harm others not like today when we succeed at the expense of the failure of everyone else.

The chosen people are the people who have the plan of correction and we have to know it. In addition to that, being chosen means that we have to bring this plan to all of humanity. As long as we don’t do that, they will hate us and pressure us more and more. This is only the beginning of the general global pressure.

The wisdom of Kabbalah is meant for the most ordinary person and has nothing to do with religion: not Judaism, Christianity, or Islam, and not to any Eastern philosophies or any mysticism. It is only about the revelation of the upper force to every human being.

Thanks to this revelation, a person will no longer make mistakes in life. What is more, he will begin to discover the upper dimension and understand that our life doesn’t end with the death of the physical body. If it were so, then what would be the meaning of this limited existence for several decades, which one lives through with great pain and wars.

The meaning is that we should ascend to the next level during our life in this world. It is not the level of the physical world anymore but a level of consciousness, a new level of sensations. We ascend to a different dimension, discover new horizons, a new world.

This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah invites everyone to, to the revelation of the upper force and the attainment of the Creator, the revelation of eternity and wholeness in nature.

Question: It has been the fate of the Jewish people that so much suffering has fallen upon them throughout history that sometimes they have wanted to ask the Creator to choose some other people for the role of the chosen next time. Why have we received such special treatment?

Answer: The same part of all of humanity that is more developed than anyone else for discovering the Creator has gotten this unique relationship. Therefore, they are called Israel (“Yashar-El” – “Straight to the Creator”).

Anyone who feels a similar yearning in his heart and joins this group, meaning that he becomes a Jew (Yehudi, from the word “Yichud” – unity) and unites with the others to discover the Creator, by being included among the people of Israel, will also become subject to this pressure and cannot flee.

The more that we develop and approach the end, the point when we must embody our mission to the whole world, accordingly we feel greater and greater pressure, struggle, and hatred. And the nations of the world don’t understand the reason for their hatred. By discovering the same forces with which we ourselves must yearn and move forward, we connect and unite more and more and draw all the other peoples after us.

But instead, we try to arrange a relaxed and comfortable life for ourselves. Therefore the same intense forces that we must activate and haven’t begin to put pressure on us through the nations of the world. Today we are only feeling the earliest symptoms of this global pressure on us. If we don’t succeed in showing that we are carrying out our mission, we will invite upon ourselves a very great tsunami.

Towards the Revelation of the Creator

The wisdom of Kabbalah is the essence of the revelation of the Creator and the connection between us. In fact, even the ancient Babylonians wanted to reveal Him and the Tower of Babel became the symbol of their attempt, their effort, to do so. But back then, the majority intended to succeed in the framework of their egoism and only very few realized that it was necessary to ascend above self-love.

When we refer to the revelation of the Creator, we refer to the upper force that manages all of our reality and leads it to the most sublime state that is called the revelation of the Creator to His created beings in this world. This is the goal of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The whole evolutionary process, the development of all our reality, is eventually meant only to reveal the Creator and to reach complete adhesion with Him until we resemble Him and become equivalent to Him when all of humanity, the whole world, all of the still, vegetative, animate, and human nature are united with Him.

Question: What exactly is this similarity?

Answer: It means that a person gradually reaches the complete attribute of bestowal that is revealed by love. Then a person feels love for everyone.

A Role Model for Humanity

Adam, who lived twenty generations before Abraham, was the first to speak about the Creator. He was the first human being in our world who discovered the method of revealing the Creator and fulfilled it.

As for Abraham, he fulfilled the method with a big group of people. According to Rambam, tens of thousands of people followed Abraham from Babylon to the land of Canaan.

They are the ones who laid the foundations for the Jewish nation by learning to format the attribute of love inside them, thus attaining resemblance and equivalence to the one unique force that operates in nature. This is the reason that the Israeli nation is called the chosen people, because they were chosen to serve others, which means to lead other people to the sublime state of love.

Question: Is everyone in the world capable of resembling the Creator?

Answer: Eventually yes. The question is when and under what conditions, but one way or the other there is a spark hidden in everyone that needs to be ignited to draw a person to the revelation of the Creator.

Question: So what is the exact meaning of the Jewish nation being chosen?

Answer: It means that it is obliged to reveal the Creator to the whole world, to draw everyone to the Creator, to set an example, and to show how to live with the Creator in our environment.

Don’t Believe, Reveal

Question: What should we do with those who don’t believe in God at all?

Answer: What we speak about doesn’t relate to religious people or to atheists. I may have been brought up with the belief that God exists. In fact, this may be part of my upbringing that has been rooted in me since my childhood and thatI have accepted as an axiom for life. However, neither my teachers nor I have actually revealed the Creator.

In fact, the Creator isn’t what humanity can ever imagine in the framework of religions and beliefs. It is the attribute of bestowal that is the basis of the whole universe, of every human being and of all of matter. It includes all of reality, manages and develops it until it all reveals this attributes, until it absorbs it from the outside. Then the attribute of bestowal will awaken it from the inside, and everyone will unite with this external force.

The attribute of bestowal is currently concealed in all our reality and we have to remove the veil to reveal it. This is called “revealing the Creator.”

To this end we are attracted to the attribute of love and bestowal and our impulse helps us discover it inside us in the matter of our desire. So we don’t have to believe in the Creator but reveal Him.

We Were Chosen by Our Desire

Question: So who has chosen us if it isn’t God in the traditional sense?

Answer: Our desire to reveal Him is what makes us chosen, given we have that desire. This desire motivated Abraham, a very well-known educated man, a kind of public figure who used to worship idols. Suddenly he began to speak differently: Why do we suffer, what is our goal, etc.?

Others felt that they suddenly somehow responded to his message because the same desire had awoken in them too. This is how a group was formed that later became the chosen people.

Question: So what is the role of this nation today?

Answer: Today we still are talking about a group of people whose goal is to reveal the Creator to all of humanity and thus bring humanity to the level of wholeness, beauty, love, eternity and peace.

Question: In my understanding, the expression “harmony with nature” is at odds with the achievements of progress like the Internet, the washing machine, and household electrical appliances. Are such objects and things connected to nature?

Answer: Of course! Enjoy their benefits, that’s not the case. Despite all of these things, people living in developed nations, where there is no lack of anything, are more likely to suffer from depression. So it is not the electronic appliances and not the comfort with which a person surrounds himself; but the absence of inner peace.

Today humanity can feed itself abundantly. We throw away a lot of food and  we cannot distribute them because we don’t have the proper connection between us. That is where the problem is! Somewhere there are hungry people, but we don’t care about them! Apparently humanitarian aid is provided only for show, but actually everything is thrown away and scattered.

Question: In other words, unity with nature is not a rejection of comfort?

Answer: No! Unity with nature doesn’t mean returning to the forest, to the jungle. Seven billion humans cannot return to the jungle. Becoming closer to nature is through comprehending it! This is not about nature that we see around us. Instead it is about the internal forces and the formula by which it works. We must attain them internally, in our feelings, to understand what is happening and what forces surround us.

These forces are concealed from us. We don’t understand what manages us. What will I think about in another minute? What will happen tomorrow? Why did this specifically happen yesterday? I don’t see what I influence and what influences me because I am lacking contact with the scheme in which I exist.

We are found in a system that manages our world, but we don’t feel it. How can I come in contact with it, to a mutual understanding, so that I will influence it and it will influence me?

This system is called the “upper world” because it manages our world: All of humanity, all parts of the still, vegetative, and animate nature. How can we discover it? How can we influence it correctly so that in return it will influence us correctly? This is the essence of the wisdom of Kabbalah; it gives answers to all of the questions of existence.

As long as a person has not revealed them for himself, he will wander around in the darkness like a blind man, he will hit sharp corners and suffer, especially in our times when the world is becoming more mutually connected. So if someone acts incorrectly somewhere, it impacts everyone.

Throughout the generations, nature has moved all of us forward until we have become locked in. Now we are beginning to feel how much this mutual connection obligates us, and we cannot break it.

Today we have no other way out. We must find that state in which we can develop harmoniously, comfortably, and securely. And this is what the wisdom of Kabbalah is talking about. So it was concealed before our time and has only been revealed now.

The role of the Jewish people, its goal, motivation, concept, and philosophy of life—is unity for the sake of discovering the Creator.

At first, this desire was awakened among a few Babylonians 3600-3800 years ago. It came from the Creator and it is not by chance that only a few were awakened.

Nowadays, this is discovered in the same way among a few and “bypasses” the others. Specifically to this is connected the concept of the “chosen people.”

First of all it is important to understand here that this is not talking about some kind of “national preference.” Initially, people who came out of various peoples and tribes united around Abraham.

Since then, essentially the Jews have not been a people in the traditional sense. People become the people of Israel (ישראל) only on condition that they yearn “Yashar-El” – ישר-אל (straight to the Creator), meaning, only if they want to discover the Creator.

Everyone Can be Chosen

Question: Does this mean that every person in the world, if such a desire is awakened in him, can join the people of Israel and be called “chosen”?

Answer: Yes, certainly. Such a person joins a group of people who directly yearn for the Creator and aspire to discover Him in a unique connection between them.

Today most of the inhabitants of Israel don’t know about their mission, that they must become a “Light to the nations,” i.e., transmit this method to the whole world by accepting among them everyone in whom this desire is awakened.

Throughout the generations many people who belonged to other tribes and peoples joined in this way to a group called the “people of Israel,” for example, Onkelos or the parents of Rabbi Akiva and many others. In other words, there were many like these who came from other peoples and stood as leaders of the people of Israel.

Immersion into Humanity

Question: But why are the Jewish people considered to be chosen even today when they are far from their original idea?

Answer: Because this task, this mission, doesn’t pass from one people to another. It maintains its original conditions.

There was a time when a strong desire burned to attain mutual connection and in it to reveal the Creator. They were actually ready to realize this role.

And after that, throughout history they passed through a multitude of stages and fell from the high level that required their connection, breaking away from this message, from this goal, and severed the intentional purposeful development leading to a mutual connection for discovering the Creator.

This happened because for a particular time they needed to be under the influence of the forces of separation, to feel the “heaviness of heart” directed against unity, where the goal was concealed until it was completely forgotten.

Only in this way was it possible to acquire the means required to work with the whole world and pave the way for them towards unity with the Creator. This is the reason that the Jews were scattered over the face of the earth and lost their original idea. First they had to discover the immense desire, the “tough temperament” latent in humanity infused with materialistic needs, and immerse into other cultures in order to serve the people correctly after this during their movement towards the goal.

This period of exile that ends in our day, “by definition,” had to be long.  It continued for two thousand years and was known in advance. And about its end, it was said that from the year 1995 the concept of being “chosen” and the discovery of the Creator in the general mutual connection would be reawakened.

This stage is being revealed and opened in front of us today. It might not be as fast as desired, but it is a historical process that is directed from above and has its own rate, its own milestones, and all kinds of situations along the way.

The Return of the Chosen

In any case, even though we don’t know all the details, we see that the concept of uniqueness lives in the Jewish community. Similar claims of other peoples are connected to conceit, arrogance, the rule of force, and other characteristics of mutual antagonism.

But with us, being chosen was based upon an opposite perception from the start: We must serve as an example of unity that is imperative for humanity today. It is unity that leads us to the discovery of the force of bestowal and love, which is the Creator.

The previous era ended with the twentieth century. The people revived their nation, and now we must return to it the inner essence, that foundation that makes it a people: unity. Moreover, the unity is directed Yashar El (straight to the Creator), based on “You shall love your friend as yourself.”

This is what must be discovered now in the people of Israel and to reform it as the “chosen people” upon whom a particular task is imposed.

In accordance with this, even the external pressure again indicates that we are a unique people who are going along a unique historical path.

The Tower of Babel represents separation, lack of understanding, and distance between people. From that situation, through overcoming this separation, a group emerged that followed Abraham and later became the Jewish people. Because they wanted to discover the meaning of life, Abraham taught them how to discover the hidden force that acts in nature.

Question: This is the entire secret of the Jewish people, that they revealed this force?

Answer: They discovered this inner force in nature; the rest of the people who were around them didn’t feel it and lived as if they were in another world. For with their discovery of the higher power, the group of Abraham discovered the existence of a new world between them.

They lived on the same planet, but they also saw what was happening beyond its limits, behind the physical image. We feel the Earth and everything that exists in it by way of our corporeal senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touch. Whereas, they received a new perception: an understanding and feeling of the two forces that manage the world—the force of reception and the force of bestowal.

Ordinary people didn’t understand this at all. It would be necessary to pass through the same inner transformation as the group of Abraham did in order to understand it. And this is the secret of the Jewish people; they began to recognize and obtain the forces that manage the world.

Question: And this made it possible for these people to manage the world by themselves afterward?

Answer: They could participate in this management correctly.

Question: Does it follow that this group has managed the world throughout all of history?

Answer: No, this group was designed to manage the world, but they didn’t succeed in carrying out this role. Yet this task remained imposed upon them.

Question: The Jewish people have strongly influenced humanity throughout history, far exceeding the influence of any other people. It follows that it is not by chance that even thousands of years ago this group began to obtain the forces that manage the world, while in general, it never occurred to all of the rest of the peoples that there are forces like these. Do Jews have some kind of advantage over the others?

Answer: The Jews have an advantage, but they don’t use it to the detriment of others, but rather to help the whole world and to raise it to the same level. They are not arrogant about this; on the contrary, they feel that they must prepare themselves to serve all of humanity, to bring everyone to the same discovery. For it is written: “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isaiah 56:7), “…and all nations shall flow unto it” (Isaiah 2:2).

The Jewish people were only the first group of all of ancient Babylon to discover the higher power. They were pioneers who broke through to discover the real world. But ultimately they must bring this to all of the inhabitants of Babylon.

All of humanity, at the end of its development, must attain the same vision of the world with the two forces that manage it—the force of reception and the force of bestowal. As it is written: “…for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them” (Jeremiah 31:33).

Question: Despite the fact that Israel is constantly under siege, at the end of every war there is a feeling that when it ends a new and happy life will begin. Now we have a feeling that we are stuck in this war and no one knows when it will end. Where does this feeling come from? Is it true? Can we end this war at all?

Answer: It is naïve to think that we can ever settle the account with our neighbors. Their constant unchanging goal is to conquer this land and to settle here. There is no way we can keep them from aspiring for this goal with threats and fear because they will still continue to wish for it. They have everything they need in order to continue this war and to pressure us unlimitedly.

They are not willing to make any concessions. For the Arab people, and in principle, for the whole world, this land is their territory and where their state should be. If you want to live here, you should convert to Islam and stay. If you are not a Muslim, you don’t belong here and you should leave.

It is all very simple. The problem isn’t the Jews and not even Israel, but the fact that the people living here are not Muslims. Therefore they see it as an eternal problem unless we manage to find a solution for it. Moreover, the threat of Islam is spreading throughout the world because the Muslims are trying to reach every corner of the world, including Siberia.

Comment: When we were in France we were told about the rapidly spreading Islam there. And on the Internet are scattered terrible pictures of Islamization. In particular, the newly created state in Iraq of people being executed and the photographs of their severed heads published on the Internet.

Answer: This is why they are feared.

Question: Does this mean that this war will not end?

Answer: Of course not! It isn’t about that. In the past, the founders of our state naively thought that we would bring our civilization to our neighbors and that they would be very glad to build a new life here together with us and to live in peace with us. I do respect our leaders for what they have done and created, but the hope that we would somehow be able to get along with our neighbors is totally absurd.

Question: So what can we do in this situation?

Answer: We can either pack our bags and leave or continue to live here the way we do as long as we have the power to keep on fighting. We will be able to manage for a while. And then what will happen? Who knows? After all, a hundred thousand rockets can be targeted at us not only from Gaza but also from neighboring counties. If they shoot them all at once, the chances that we will be able to stand against all of them are very small. There are different types of rockets, not only homemade ones made from a piece of metal pipe.

In addition to that, the whole world is against us. All the nations and peoples no longer respect and love us or take us into account. If in the past they expressed their support and tried to justify us, today they blame us for everything, no matter what we do.

We protect the Arab population and their children and let them know in advance when and where we are going to attack so that they will be able to leave in time. We risk the lives of our soldiers so as not to kill a child or adult civilian.

On the other hand, our enemies do everything they can to kill our innocent children and civilians and we are still seen as guilty in the eyes of the world although we don’t start the wars. The world doesn’t care. The world hates us because we don’t fulfill our role in human society.

I deliberately present the problem as extreme. If I didn’t have a solution, I wouldn’t do so and I would pity the people, but it is actually in order to spare and protect them that I present the issue of the inefficiency of all our wars, becayse we can prevent all that and make our life here peaceful and happy.

Question: Does that mean that you don’t see a rational solution here?

Answer: There is no rational solution since the problem itself isn’t rational. Our whole nation isn’t rational. We have existed for thousands of years and have given the world religions, the basis of civilization, and have invested a lot in science and in culture in different countries all over the world, and what of it?

We actually see an opposite outcome. We are outcasts who don’t belong to this world. Everyone hates us and thinks that we are the source of all the evil in the world. Therefore we should listen to them to understand why it is so.

Comment: We can come up with superficial answers to this problem. The Jews are envied because they are too smart. They have been at the top of the economies of many states and have seemingly stolen a lot.

Answer: Don’t they steal in Russia now when there are no Jews? Or do they steal less in the US? This isn’t the reason. The reason emerged long before that.

Comment: I was born in the Ukraine where I felt anti-Semitism on a daily basis without any apparent reason. The word Jew was simply used as a curse word just like the word idiot or a fool.

Answer: Common folks feel this hatred, dislike, and hostility subconsciously. They don’t understand, but subconsciously they feel that for some reason you are meddling with their life. There is something about you that affects the world and their fate depends on you.

As a person who has been studying Kabbalah for forty years, I know the reason for everything that happens. We Jews have to balance the world and bring it to a state of equality and to the revelation of the system that governs the world. People accuse us of making the world go round, that we manage it, but we manage it badly.

The world is indeed managed through us, but unfortunately at the moment it is done badly because it done through great suffering and blows. Therefore the nations of the world accuse us of all their problems.

It turns out that the world receives negative energy through us. This is clear according to the wisdom of Kabbalah and is also evident to the naked eye. Can we change things so that the world will receive positive energy through us? The wisdom of Kabbalah has a simple answer to that: in order to do so we have to connect.

Comment: But we have given the world so much: science, law, innovative technologies, Google, Facebook…

Answer: This is totally unimportant since the world receives the negative energy through these things too. After all, our ego has helped the world develop egoistically. The world doesn’t need that at all.

The Jews were given different talents so that they will affect the world positively and not in a negative egoistic manner that helps people develop industry, commerce, science, and the arts; people don’t need that! Although we have given the world all that, no one has ever thanked us.

Today we begin to realize that all the great achievements don’t make us happy. Although we have the newest technology, we feel empty inside and we feel bad. People who lived in caves were happy and managed without antidepressants.

We have to provide the world with positive energy that reaches the world through us! It is all a matter of unity. When we unite, the positive energy is conveyed to the world, and when we are divided, negative energy is conveyed through us.

It is very simple. If the Jews in Israel begin to unite, the world will immediately begin to treat us positively. But we should unite not in order to attack someone or to manage egoistically in our counter attack; we should unite above our ego.

The Torah says: “love thy friend as thyself.” Our nation is based on being as one man in one heart. This is the precondition for the creation of the Jewish nation, and we have to keep it. This is the only way that a blessing will come unto the world. All the Kabbalistic sources speak about it. Why don’t we try to do so?

Whenever criminals or fascists unite it is always against something. Our unity, however, is for spreading the rule of “love thy friend as thyself,” which will gradually spread all over the world.

Imagine how nice and kind the nations of the world will be to one another if they feel that it comes from us. To the same extent, the ice between us will also melt.

Comment: You are like a storyteller telling fairytales because everything you describe is against our nature.

Answer: That’s true, it is against our nature, but the wisdom of Kabbalah spoke about that several thousand years ago because in the past we did live by the principles of this system. Rambam said that our nation was created on the basis of an idea since a Jew is not a nationality but membership in the idea of unity. Today every person can become a Jew. He cannot become French, but he can become a Jew.

Question: If we were united in the past, then why were there 12 tribes?

Answer: The 12 tribes stem from a spiritual ladder, “Yod – Hey – Vav – Hey” (ה-ו-ה-י) , where each letter (property) is multiplied by three lines: the left line, the right line, and the middle line. This makes up the whole system of 12 tribes.

Every tribe has a role, an attribute, and it was forbidden to mix them to such an extent that it was forbidden to marry someone from another tribe. However, there was still mutual help and complete understanding between them.

This is why we must build our system according to the spiritual ladder of Providence. The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us how 12 Lights descend unto us and we receive them in our state, and we have to unite together into one whole.

After the breaking of the first and second Temples, the ten tribes disappeared and merged into the nations of the world. We don’t know where they are, but they will reappear in the future. Two and a half tribes have survived and all the Jews today all over the world belong to them, but we don’t know who belongs to which tribe since everything has been shattered and dispersed. Today we simply must unite.

Shamati #69: Hence, when individuals in the whole of Israel are corrected, the whole world will naturally be corrected. It follows that the nations of the world will be corrected to the extent that we correct ourselves. This is the meaning of what our sages said, “Rewarded—sentences himself and the whole world to a scale of merit.” And they did not say, “sentences the whole of Israel,” but “the entire world to a scale of merit.” In other words, the internal will correct the external.

Israel consists of GE and AHP and its AHP is always included in the nations of the world. Therefore, Israel is unable to correct its AHP unless it corrects the rest of the nations.

Israel belongs to the inner part, which corrects itself in order to correct the outer part—the nations of the world. This is the purpose for the existence of GE—the desires for bestowal, which the Creator gave us as a spark. However, from the very beginning we have to pray for the AHP, which we cannot use if it is not connected with the nations of the world.

Therefore, our prayers, work, and intentions always include all creatures, the entire world. Although Israel is the inner, small part of the world, it is like a cork in the bottleneck. If this cork opens the passage, it is enough to open the path for the Light to enter and correct all corrupt desires.
