Question: How do we overcome fear in dissemination and fear of lack of success? How do we strengthen and give each other support on the way?

Answer: Truly, when we go out to the streets, organize various events, and circles in homes, we encounter very tired people who are not ready to listen to us and are unwilling to cooperate. In fact, they are very tired and exhausted from life. Therefore we are compelled to overcome many obstacles on our way toward them.

But the problem is that we look at the world, we think of how we can correct such a large number of people—seven billion human beings! What can a small handful of our people do with these billions in China, India, and South America? But we don’t understand that we don’t need to correct all of this. Through a small switch or faucet, we open the passage for the Upper Light and it makes all the corrections. We either block or open the passage for the Light. It isn’t necessary to be afraid of all the rest of the work because the Light will do it. He created darkness and He will also make the Light.

A one-year-old child could flip a small switch with his little finger and suddenly the whole world would be filled with light. Everything depends on how much force we activate. If we can activate the Upper Light, what it does is its business.

So, I am not afraid by the great amount of work that is expected from me. This is not my work, rather the work of the Creator. I am His partner in this work and my goal is to make it possible for the Creator to act. I activate Him like a child who takes the hand of an adult and shows him what he wants the adult to do. That is what children generally do when they don’t succeed in doing something by themselves.

But we are concerned about how to correct the entire world, all the nations of the world, all of their mind and feelings, while they are not ready and don’t want to listen to us. But we don’t need to do this. If you do your job, you will see that everything will work out on its own.

Baal HaSulam doesn’t say to us to turn to our haters and bribe them. It is possible to think that if we do more good things for them they will treat us better. Are you kidding? This really is not correct.

We accept terrorists into our hospitals and take care of them. Do you think that they will ever admire us thanks to this? On the contrary, they will treat us even worse than before. It is because we are doing this instead of doing what we really must do. This is absolutely false.

It is up to us to show that we are not doing anything for them physically, but only spiritually. The world doesn’t need our Nobel Prizes, medicine, and expertise in agriculture. They will never appreciate us for that. Subconsciously the world demands only correction from us and if we don’t carry out that correction, the world blames us for all of its problems.

There is no point in justifying yourself because you have brought everything good to them. You are to blame for not doing what is demanded of you. The Creator makes demands on Israel through the nations of the world. The Creator hardens the heart of Pharaoh and through him, tells you what to do.

Question: I had an encounter with people on the street not long ago in which there were many unexpected interferences and I found myself in a position of helplessness and despair. How can I focus directly on our goal and not circle around it?

Answer: This confusion was on purpose in order to bring you to deeper and deeper clarifications. This happens in every state, on every level and to every person. It happens to everyone.

Clarify this point and it will become clearer. Then you will encounter many more such situations and you will always feel helpless. The helplessness stems from the fact that it isn’t in your power to correct anything and that you are not in control of the situation, but this is actually a good thing. What you lack here is to hold on to the host and to be in contact with Him.

There is nothing you can but to continue. Everyone reaches such states and such discernments, and although you describe them nicely, you still have no contact with the upper Light. Even if you had such contact, there would still be disconnections so that you would be able to rise from one level to the next each time you feel helpless at a certain point a along the way.

It is just like King David wrote in the Book of Psalms: “You have hidden your face from me and I was frightened!” This is good since it shakes a person a little and takes the Klipot (shells) from him. When a person is in a state of fear, anxiety, insecurity, and disorientation, it is actually a good thing. We should see where it all comes from and how the Creator summons you to adhere to Him.

The Midrash “BeShalach”: Moses began to pray, and the Creator opened the heavens. The enlightenment came down upon the nation of Israel, and they saw an army of angels by their side. Thus, the main thing for the leaders of today is not to give the people this opportunity. They try through all means to suppress the desire that awakens in them, to block and quiet their ambitions.

Question: Which part is more important to correct: “Israel” or the “nations of the world”?

Answer: This is a single integral system in which each one is connected with all. It is impossible to activate even the smallest desire of Galgalta ve Eynaim separately. In spite of everything, a person influences the entire system without even understanding it.

It is impossible to change anything in one place without changing the entire system. This is because it is analogical.

There are discrete systems that operate according to pulses. The signal, meaning the external activator, enters and gradually passes by way of the entire system, pulse after pulse, until it reaches the end. That is how the simple systems that we build according to our egoistic intellect are constructed. We perceive the world like that; we see that there is a beginning and an end, pulses, a progressive process from beginning to end.

But if we are talking about another form of nature and not that which we are able to perceive, then we must agree that nature is a circular system that has no beginning, end or middle, and there are no sequential processes that flow according to a chain of cause and effect. It turns out that everything is a single complete system that is entirely created immediately.

The four phases of the Direct Light and the continuing development of Malchut of Infinity are activities that exist only in regard to us, but that is not how it truly is. It appears to us in a form like this because we ourselves are not circular; we are not whole, like this system.

The higher system operates everything and there is no part in it that is independent. This is not a system in which a signal enters and leaves. Rather, when the higher system receives some external influence, after a while it becomes stabilized and then we see the results throughout the entire system. The signal takes it out of equilibrium and after that it stabilizes itself and takes on the next state.

We are not built like circular systems so it is difficult for us to understand how the entire creation works. But a person who acquires spiritual desires sees that all of his desires are connected to everyone else. He no longer sees a difference between his desires and foreign desires because everything becomes his.

If I influence everyone and receive a chain reaction from everyone, then where am “I” found and where are “they”? All of us adhere to each other. The only thing that remains is the arrangement of what is before and after, as well as the division into what is internal and what external on a new level: What is it that is more important and less important to that single overall system?

Therefore, not even the smallest part within Israel can exist without our clarifying its benefit to the entire system. For through this we want to open a passage for the Light to enter the system and correct it. So we must take the entire system into account. The mechanism of “Israel” cannot exist if it is not connected to the entire system and if it doesn’t consider that it must serve the system, for it exists only for this purpose. So AHP and GE of Israel exist only for the good of the general AHP, for the good of the entire shattered Kli.

Question: How is it possible to convey the integral method and share it with thousands of people so that they will avoid the blows that we have received, and the mistakes that we have made?

Answer: With them the realization of the integral method will be carried out in a different manner. Today a small child who is still sitting in a stroller is already playing the same games that we were afraid to approach.

And he not only pushes on the electronic buttons of the games, but also, to our surprise, understands what he is pressing. So everything will be different, but how, I don’t know, this doesn’t interest me. I need to work now, working with the tasks of today.

Question: What number of people do we need to encompass through our method? Is there a particular number?

It is said that the moment that we attain the first spiritual level, the Upper Light will stream through us over all the rest of the levels of the world. We are working on the external public not to correct the masses, but to raise ourselves to the first spiritual level. And then the Light that fills us will pour over the edge of our Kli and fill them.

It is for this that we are working with them. Their need, their deficiency, is imperative to us.

Question: It follows that what interests us more is how many friends we activate in this?

Answer: The number of friends who are activated doesn’t interest us; rather, it is the quality and quantity of their total value of qualitative and quantitative needed for our urgent requirement for the Light to correct us.

If you are experiencing fear before you go out to disseminate, this is very good, it means that you need the Creator. If it isn’t so strong in the meantime, wait, He is still preparing a surprise for you.

Question: Why is it that when we hold a workshop in the center we think much more about the Creator and approach unity but when we go out to an event, this thought disappears and we begin to think about technical things: how we express ourselves, what must we do and so forth? How is it possible to maintain the thought about the Creator, for after all, this is our main task?

Answer: Right, this will be your main task. And in the meantime you need to feel how much your appearance before the public brings you the thought that this is what is determining everything now, and not the Creator. As much as you come under the influence of the environment, you suddenly become businessmen, high-tech people, and the like. You are immersed in thoughts about how this will work. One way or another, you will immediately forget that the Creator is doing all of it. But it should not overtake the events. All of this will come with time.

Question: If the Jewish people are not yet ready to unite, how will redemption come to the world?

Answer: We begin from ourselves. The Upper Light works through Bnei Baruch, which is among the people of Israel, and the people of Israel are found among the nations of the world. The Light does all of the corrections. The Light can work only on condition that there is something corresponding to it.

So if we reach unity, the Light is found within us. It doesn’t even come from above, it is simply found everywhere, and it is revealed in us thanks to our equivalence of form.

Through our actions we are linked to the people of Israel; with this we transfer Light to them. And after that, because the people of Israel are connected to all of the nations of the world and influence them, the Upper Light passes to them also.

So first of all, we, Bnei Baruch, must be united. Then equivalence of form with the Upper Light makes it possible for us to have contact with it.

There doesn’t have to be unity like this between us and the people of Israel because we already influence them from our Kelim, and through our Kelim, they receive the Light. So there must only be a particular degree of connection, agreement, and integration with us here.

And between the people of Israel and the nations of the world there must be some kind of understanding that we are found in one world and one system, and from this anti-Semitism is derived, a unique attitude towards the people of Israel and also the system of correction. If the people get the general idea about this system and connect with us a bit, this is enough for the Upper Light to pass through them.

Every time in the descent of these spiritual levels, a correlation is formed between the Kelim and the abundance that spreads in the relationship from the higher to the lower and from the lower to the higher. And generally this is what we talk about in our dissemination.

But the main thing for us is specifically our unity with the Upper Light. Then it will spread, will awaken a response in the people, and the people will begin to speak with our words, will agree with us, will be ready to go with us. All of the work is done by the Upper Light. Let the Light work and it will stream like water that penetrates into the soil and reaches each and every place to water anything that a person grows in the ground. Then on the way it will also fulfill us, will connect us into one. In what way does it do this? That is its business that is its work; this is the work of the Creator. We must only work on connection.

Question: If so, must we go out to disseminate externally?

Answer: If we don’t get the deficiency from the people, their desires, their problems, if we don’t take it and raise it up to ourselves, we will have no need to connect with the Creator. We can sit and study the sources for a thousand years and it will only be theory. As long as we are not integrated with the people, the desire to connect will not be awakened in us. The desire to connect is awakened only from the deficiencies that we get from people, and from these deficiencies, we can present the MAN, the request for correction.

So if you think that you want unity now, this is not true, this is not the right unity. The true unity is possible solely and only if you go out to the people, sweating and working with them on their connection. Only from there will you receive a true imperative to connect.

Question: Does this mean that if we truly unite, all of humanity will automatically be changed and we will not need to do anything?

Answer: Yes. If only the Bnei Baruch group changes, the people of Israel will be changed. And if the people of Israel will be changed to a particular degree, all of reality will be changed, all the peoples, all of humanity. That is how these three circles work. But each one depends upon both the higher and the lower. And without the deficiency of the lower, you cannot reach the higher.

So we must work with the people of Israel so that we will have a need to connect together and be like the Creator. Through the people of Israel we must go out to all of humanity so that for us there will be a need from humanity to turn to turn to the people of Israel, and from the people to ourselves, and from ourselves to the Creator.

All three of these levels must work as one. Therefore we work on “three fronts.”

Question: At the time of the Exodus from Egypt the Creator hardened the heart of Pharaoh and sent Moses to him. Is it possible to compare this to today with the relentless military actions of the past few months? How can one explain this process to the public?

Answer: An introduction is needed here first to explain the principle of “There is none else beside Him.” Everything is sent and caused from above; everything comes to us from the upper force. It is from “There is none else beside Him” and the “good that does good.”

So why is that so bad for us?

The problem is that we, the people of Israel, are responsible for the world. And all evil happens because all the good and the pleasure that comes from above are not received correctly in our Kelim. We don’t prepare the Kelim, the desires of all of humanity, such that they will be in equivalence of form with what is sent and reaches us from above.

The Light comes from above in precise amounts as if some kind of “clock” is ticking and secreting the Light according to a precise algorithm, a little more and a little more, every moment more and more for three thousand years until the completion of correction. And we human beings, gathered from all the ends of the earth, are responsible for it in order to accept it specifically as goodness and pleasure, as great abundance that is meant to fill us on every level, at every moment, with heavenly delight.

And in the next minute, the “hardness of the heart” comes again and we must again go to Pharaoh. In this way, time after time, we must correct the hardness of heart and receive the abundance in it.

Ultimately, the troubles and plagues come and don’t pass over the characteristic of “Israel” in us but over the egoistic characteristics of “Egypt” and “Pharaoh.” What is called the “Sitra Achra” (other side) swallows them again. And that is how it must be, and later it will “vomit” out the abundance that it swallows, which is called, “He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again” (Job 20:15).

So we are responsible for the world. Nobody has freedom of choice except for us. We are the ones who left Babylon, who fled from there and were molded as a people who became connected among us and connected with the Creator. We transformed ourselves into a transitional link between the Creator and the entire world. This means that we need to become the “light” for the whole world and give it the method of correction so that at every moment what comes from above will be revealed truly as a paradise on earth.

But we are not doing this. And so we look at everything that is happening and we must understand that, in fact, it is all kindness; the Creator is still frightening us from a distance and playing with us. Thousands of missiles fall on the land of Israel with minimal consequences.

The problem is that this doesn’t wake people up; instead it relaxes them. Look at what a blow we can take. So come, let’s feel the blow as if it didn’t happen, and on the other hand, understand that the Creator is protecting us so that we will approach Him in a good ways, so that we will have the strength for it.

But the people are indifferent. So what else is there? What must the Creator do?

And so we, the people who understand this and have freedom of choice, must go out to the people and bring this message to the people with all our might. The message is that we must change, that through the connection between us we will bring about the connection of the whole world.

That is specifically what we are prepared to bestow to it. It is because we want everyone to be connected with each other well, the far and the near, including our enemies. So our connection is required for this, and we will see that it will pass to everyone.

Unity and the connection begin from the center of the group and will extend to more and more external circles. And then we will see how everything relaxes, as if a wave of calm passes over the world. And everyone will look at the people of Israel and will finally understand that they are prepared to bring goodness and pleasure.

“Previously the evil stemmed from them and so we hated them. But now they live with love. So let’s go and help them with this! Come, let’s carry them on our shoulders and bring them to the goal. If they have such an intention, then we are with them.”

This is what must happen, and we are the key for this.

The wisdom of Kabbalah is a most practical method. In our world there is no other means for influencing our fate, our lives, and the forces of nature that manage all of this.

As we enter into the new age and receive all the means to manage our lives into our hands, we suddenly see that nothing is found under our control and in our hands, and we don’t know what will happen with us from today until tomorrow. This is the recognition of evil through which all of humanity must pass.

However, the wisdom of Kabbalah gives us connection, contact with the one force that works in reality. We can awaken it, summon it onto us and, with its help, reach the desired changes if our plans are integrated with the program of this upper force.

We need to develop in order to reach such mutual integration in the work, connection of the creatures with the Creator, and adhesion of our desires with the desire of the upper force, with the Ohr Makif (Surrounding Light), and so the question can be asked: How can we activate this upper force?

This is the only thing that must be done in the wisdom of Kabbalah and, generally, in reality. Otherwise, we continue to live dutifully carrying out the orders of the higher power and playing on the face of this earth like children in a sandbox, hitting each other and pouring sand on each other.

However, if we truly want to advance, it is possible only if we ourselves attract the Light that Reforms, and then it will begin to develop us. However, if we don’t attract it, then it will reveal how much we are suffering and have no control over our development.

The more that we develop technologically, we have less and less control over our fate, our situation. That is how we gradually reach an understanding that the wisdom of Kabbalah is speaking only about practical actions, and this work is very simple: to influence that Light. In addition, influencing it is possible only if we attain a form similar to it, meaning that we unite.

Question: Does belonging to the chosen people, besides the heavy obligations, give the Jews any advantages, benefits or dispensations? What is good about being the chosen people?

Answer: We simply cannot refuse or reject our mission, neither those who belong to the Jewish people today, nor the twelve tribes that were lost 2,500 years ago. We cannot hide from our task; we must carry it out.

Being chosen or not does not depend upon us. We only need to look for where it is possible to add our own participation. Thanks to that, we will come to a good and peaceful life that all of us understand and appreciate. This is not in the sense that we will be higher than others, rather they will aspire to the same goal and will be included in the same process.

We will not succeed by fleeing, as we must carry out our role in any case. We must realize our mission, and nothing will help us, neither hiding nor death.

Question: In other words, being chosen indicates the discovery of the program of development of life, and acting accordingly makes it possible to achieve success in everything? How will daily life be different for a person who discovers the program of development?

Answer: A person such as this will understand where he is, how to connect with people correctly, and how to build an even greater and stable basis for even greater discovery of the higher power.

He is constantly advancing towards the disclosure of the upper force within himself and this will fill him with higher knowledge and feelings. All of his desires and thoughts will be directed only towards this.

Even today, we unconsciously yearn and aspire only to discover the upper force. It seems to us that we supposedly want only food, sex, family, well-being, money, respect, and knowledge, but in fact, through all of this, we are seeking the unique taste of the upper force.

And now, thanks to this, we are alive and sense the taste of the Creator in all of this. Everything, every object, that brings us pleasure contains a microscopic discovery of the Creator. If we want to feel this discovery fully so that it will fill all of our desires and thoughts and reveal the entire future perspective to us, we must prepare ourselves by correctly connecting with the environment.

Question: Throughout the generations in the history of the Jewish people, there were many sages who sought and investigated the upper force. This was the lot of the greatest minds of the generation, the elite. But is it possible that now every person on the face of the earth will be able to attain the Creator, all seven billion people?

Answer: First, the seven million Jews in Israel must discover the Creator and show everyone that they have this power. All people will feel this. At the very moment that the people of Israel begin to advance toward discovery of the Creator, all of humanity will freeze in suspenseful anticipation, understanding that after the Jews attain this, it will pass to all of the people.

Question: So who are these chosen people?

Answer: The chosen people are a people who choose the discovery of the Creator and care of all of humanity for the goal of revealing, the upper force, the general power of nature. to all people. This is our obligation, and then everyone will truly be happy, rising above the concept of time, motion, and space, entering into another dimension.

If I don’t think about the reward I will receive from my action but only worry about the benefit of others, it is bestowal. It is a special action that doesn’t exist in our world and is not familiar to us.

We think that a mother who takes care of her baby is an example of bestowal in our world: She doesn’t think about herself and does whatever is necessary.

But a mother acts from her natural instinct and there is no ascent above nature here. She simply feels that her baby is dearer to her than herself. She doesn’t see him as a foreign body, but actually feels that he is inside her like before he was born.

But we are establishing a special connection between us that unites us all into one integral system and changes us so that we will be able to operate in order to bestow. Thus, our actions are divided into an intention and the actual action. The intention is altruistic, which means for the benefit of others, and it determines the action.

If the intention is not for the sake of others but for my own sake, then even if you bestow to others, you expect something in return: at least to be in a good mood, have self-respect, or receive praise. If I cannot calculate things only in order to bestow unto others, this actions is called a transgression and the breaking of the Mitzva (commandment) since I use an egoistic intention.

It is according to such signs that I can check whether my intention is clean and whether it is really for the sake of others or not. After all, I may be acting for the sake of others but expecting to receive something for myself as well. These are the accounts that determine my place on the spiritual ladder along spiritual correction. Accordingly, if my action is for the sake of others without any self benefit, as if I don’t exist at all, my action is more sublime in the spiritual sense.

Therefore, I should totally restrict my ego before every action so as not to expect any reward for myself, as if I don’t exist at all. Baal HaSulam says that we simply have to be a pipe, a channel, that conveys everything through it, and which passes everything onwards. Thus we build ourselves by restricting our ego.

But after the restriction, I can already plan what I can do for the sake of others, for the sake of bestowal. If I can come up with such a plan with the help of the Light that Reforms, it means that I build the head of the spiritual Partzuf. With this head I can already use my desire to receive by ascending above it.

Although the ego wants everything only for its own sake, I act above it with the intention only for the sake of others, without any account for my own sake. This action is called receiving in order to bestow, which is spiritual work.

The ability to perform spiritual work comes only from the Light that Reforms. This is the reason that very few people in this world can understand and fulfill this work, and in fact there is no need for many such people.

Our group will never be big. Most people will simply go through it: They will come and go. Therefore we will keep on consolidating as a group that leads humanity along the right path of our evolution. Our power is in quality, not in quantity.
