Question: What is the difference between “round” and “linear” discussion, implementation, or decision? What do interactions between linear efforts and circular integration mean in the integral method?

Answer: It means that all of us are found in linear interactions for the sake of connection in a circle. I invest effort that is directed towards the center of the circle in order to become rounded, to disappear, and to melt into it. With this I acquire an idea, a thought, and a general common desire.

There is nothing integral in me now. Integrality is created in a connection between us. Therefore my efforts are linear.

Question: We have people who are used to taking an initiative upon themselves and implementing actions individually.

Answer: Implementation cannot be individual! A team has been gathered that has accrued an integral connection, power, and warmth from the group. It goes and transmits this feeling of mutual connection to another place, wanting this drop of shared unity that they create through their desires and thoughts to gradually flow to others.

What is the idea of an individual person here? What can he do alone? He needs to be a carrier of our integral virus  and nothing more.

Imagine how ticks travel around with the help of dogs. Each one of us, in general, needs to be like a dog upon which “ticks” of “integral viruses” sit that are transferred from our group to another group.

Question: But there isn’t anything integral in me….

Answer: How could there not be? You are included in a group, you see! If there were nothing integral in you, then it would be impossible for you to go anywhere. You would fail! And what will become of us, what will happen with those you come to? Will there be a collective global failure?

Question: Suppose we gather together, that is all well and good for us. How can we go out to the 99% of the population and transmit these wonderful “ticks” to them?

Answer: It is necessary to agree and establish from the start how and what we are doing, to create a plan of action before going out to disseminate, to discuss it, approve it, and implement it.

For example, before an excursion of this type, you need to arrange a small practice workshop for us. For example, you tell us facts we already know; it doesn’t matter; you simply practice your first workshop on us as an apprentice, in training. After this, we give suggestions and prompts, laugh at you, correct you, and then you take a few friends with you and you go to disseminate.

Go out to disseminate with at least two people, but preferably three, and even better four; it depends on what society you are going to. You all bear the same responsibility, that is, each one of the friends can replace you at any moment. And so you don’t have anything to fear, and we too, in general, have nothing to fear, because three or four of our friends can fill any gap.

Question: In the framework of integral education is it possible to create a course that teaches us to behave correctly in our bodies, with ourselves, so that on a basis of correct behavior the person can advance onward?

Answer: Only if he will begin to feel happiness through a mutual connection with others. But in the meantime, in a natural way, we can only be connected physically because we have not yet found another virtual level of communication outside of ourselves, even though science already talks about a possibility like this, especially physics and psychology.

Since we exist in a real manner within the body, we are connected with one another through its sensations and comprehend one another in this manner. If we feel that our body becomes a tool through which we reach inner fulfillment, then this will be comprehended by us as a positive tool for this will become a source of happiness, will give us fulfillment.

So then being alive is necessary, to  vitalize, to be healthy and fit. We reach this only through involvement with integral unification through changing a person’s view of himself.

Question: Do we need to tell people at the lectures on integral education that they are uncorrected elements of nature and that all the problems in life are brought about by them? Wouldn’t this depress people?

Answer: This will not happen in two cases: First, if people come to this conclusion themselves in the course of a workshop as a result of the proper pre-designed questions asked in the correct sequence, this will become their personal discovery. It will turn out that you are not proving something to them, but they themselves draw definite conclusions, give you your methodology themselves. They “give birth” to it every time.

Second, if you speak from the perspective of a doctor, telling the patient about his illness and making him understand that there is a cure, then, it will become a pleasant discovery for him because he will understand at once that by getting rid of the disease, he will rise to a completely different level of health.

You can tell people that they are uncorrected elements of nature only in these two instances.

In general, we never start with this. I believe that a person should not be told anything unpleasant—or even pleasant—because he must discover everything himself. Then, it will be his attainment, his feeling. After all, it is not someone else’s thought that whizzed past his ear and disappeared in the air, but his own that he has found within himself. He will own it and will not part with it.

Question: If we tell people that egoism is our nature, we are confronted with strong opposition.

Answer: True. That is why the disclosure of the disease always should be preceded by its remedy. Let’s say that you are going to hit someone; hit, if it is necessary but first, explain why, what for, and what positive result will come out of it.

It’s the same thing as with spanking a child; he should know that you do this with love, for his benefit, clearly pursuing the definite objective of fighting his egoism and not because you are upset.

Question: So, do I tell the patient that he will have a difficult operation but it undoubtedly will lead him to a better state?

Answer: No, first, you need to describe the best state, show it, and make it felt. Then, the person will see his next state in front of him. His diagnosis will be revealed to him much more clearly and correctly. He will understand everything correctly. Otherwise, he will not want to accept it. It really will be awful for him. He will want to forget it, to get rid of it, to erase it from his memory as quickly as possible.

Question: We conducted a workshop with a group, half of which were physicians interested in making society healthy. When it comes to balance in terms of medicine, blood pressure is 120/80, a specific white blood cell count, pH factor, and another sixteen indicators.

Answer: These are the physical manifestations of balance. When physiological parameters of the balance of the internal systems are disturbed, a disease appears, and any disease is a lack of balance.

Applying the integral methodology, we come to balance at the next, higher level—at the psychological, physical, spiritual, and emotional levels—no matter what. Therefore, physicians should understand that the same principle applies to all the levels.

The same goes for psychologists and psychiatrists. We all desire to achieve balance in our lives, anywhere, in any state. Indeed, there is no positive without negative. It is possible to give a person such positive stress that his heart will not sustain immense joy. Therefore, everything is built on balance.

Question: If I don’t have the strength to work for dissemination, how can I connect with the friends in order to get strength from them?

Answer: From your point of view, it is an unnatural action that goes beyond our nature. On your own, you would never have a thought about the friends, seeing no egoistic gain in this. If you could gain at their expense, make money or if your health or income had depended on them, then of course, you would have started thinking about the friends right away. But since we are talking about some kind of an unnatural act, you have to draw a perfect system.

Spiritual qualities can come to you only from above, that is, from the force of bestowal. You need the upper force that will change you, and it can be obtained only from the center of the group. According to the nature of the force of Light, the only form that matches it, as a detector or radar able to catch it, is the unity of people as equals that desire to reveal this force.

You will find this unity in the center of the group if you become integrated into it with all your mind and heart, with all your power and concentration. Try to imagine how all the friends, all the hearts, are united in this imaginary center. You still cannot imagine it “virtually” because you have no tools for perceiving the spiritual reality yet. So, just imagine that they are getting together in one intention to draw the Light that will unite us and reveal the upper force for us.

And inside of this revelation, you will already subconsciously imagine this world, the upper world, the ascent above death to eternal life, to unlimited knowledge, mind, and feelings. It is all correct. You already visualize the true reality in which everyone is united. You also want to join them to be affected by the illumination that comes through our connection from that invisible infinite spiritual space.

Our unity is like a focusing lens that creates a tiny opening, like a needle’s eye, through which the higher energy breaks into our world and changes us.

You need to constantly imagine this picture, and thus you will connect with the group. You will already want to feel the friends, to hear them, to communicate; you will be looking where they are to connect to them in some form, to get closer. The main thing is to achieve the feeling that you must both physically and in your soul be as close as possible to them.

Question: Why is it that it is precisely through involvement with dissemination that we begin to see the greatness of the friends and our own lowness in comparison to them?

Answer: Through involvement with dissemination, you are connected. You feel your dependence upon each other. You hang the success of the dissemination on the degree of your success in attaining connection and unity, mutual support. All this brings you higher illumination.

Everything depends upon the illumination. The desire to receive, our entire world, cannot move from its spot without this energy. Scientists say that all the energy through which the entire universe lives and develops was revealed at the time of the Big Bang, and, from then, it acts in the entire universe, making all the particles go around, giving them the ability to connect and create the multitude of types of creatures that we see on the face of the earth: still, vegetative, animate and human.

However, all of this energy comes from the Upper Light, from the power of bestowal. Otherwise, matter would remain dead; it would not move. It couldn’t even exist without the Light and, all the more so, be in motion and development, and even in spiritual development. A completely unique Light is required to be able to maintain the existence of matter, giving it the possibility of developing to the level of the animate and the speaking, and, after that, also to the level of divinity.

What is required for this is not just Light, energy. Rather, it’s energy of another, higher quality. Therefore, we attract this illumination through our actions.

When we merely act on the level of the “beast,” we are serving our ego. So, this also takes place with the help of the illumination for we see that the world evolves but by a long and indirect way that is called the “path of suffering.”

Whereas, through dissemination, we attract the illumination in the right form, for we need it in order to heal this world so that it will heal matter and correct the shattering. Therefore, through our dissemination, we do rehabilitation. We convey through a pipeline to the world an infusion with the remedy, and then we begin to think, to feel, and to understand that we require friends. You are personally empty, but completely filled together with everyone.

So, the Light, according to its nature, shows you a truer picture of reality, closer to the truth. You suddenly feel that you are attracted to friends, feel your dependence on them, and feel yourself obligated to them. They radiate a vital energy, a feeling of security to you. The Light acts and carries out in you changes like these that are possible only through the Light. You feel the results directly from the area of your work in dissemination.

Question: In order for me to want to satisfy the desires of others wholeheartedly, I have to love them or at least put them as high as possible in my eyes. How can I achieve this?

Answer: There are times that people take care of other people’s children, begin to care about them, and these children become dear to them, sometimes even more dear than in the case of a biological relationship. Where does this feeling come from? It is produced by caring, efforts. It is not by accident that people say “put your heart and soul” into it; this is exactly so: I put my desire, which is the soul, and then I treasure my creation.

Accordingly, when caring for the external audience, I also invest a lot of effort and begin to empathize with people’s needs, desires, and lives. This becomes important for me, dear to me, especially as time after time I discover that because of them I can reach spirituality, and only by bringing them the Light that Reforms can I help them.

After all, I promise people the fulfillment of their desires, but how can I fulfill them? Someone wants a car, so how do I get it? And anyway, how do I get all the things they lack? However, I know the main and only thing; correction is made only by the Light that Reforms. I am a “transmission channel” and need to make sure that the Light passes through me to them. Nothing but that is needed.

In fact, we do not deal with the material problems. We promise people a good life, but that does not mean that after a while they won’t come to us with complaints like: “Where is my car?” No, our task is to deliver the Light to them. You’ll give it to them if you care about them. Then, you will want to bring them goodness out of your evil, egoistic qualities, as well as the positive properties of bestowal, and love. Shame will encourage you to do that because in the case of failure, they will mortify you.

So, go and invest in them to the fullest. Above all, don’t worry about the future, the threat of disgrace will turn you in the right direction, “I must accomplish this otherwise what will they think, and say? It will be worse than bankruptcy, a complete default on all counts, and the darkness will come…” The very situation will oblige you to find a solution. But to do that, you deliberately have to put yourself into it or nothing will happen.

Otherwise, you will not be able to raise MAN, a request for correction. This request always comes from serving others; you work for someone and ask for him and not for yourself. Moreover, you ask the force of bestowal.

“Whom do you want to help?” asks the Creator. “Please, I’m ready.”

And what will you tell Him?

“No, first You give to me, and then I’ll think of something…”

This will not work. It is not a request, not MAN, if you do not care about the other.

Thus, those who do not go to disseminate, deprive themselves. I am glad that our groups  “go to the people.” This gives us hope that they will now understand what the wisdom of Kabbalah talks about; they will understand it from the inside.

After all, we are looking for love. What are its indications? Love means to give gifts, bring fulfillment, reject one’s own desire and prefer the desire of the other in order to fulfill it. In this case, I really love.

The “material” of creation is the desire to enjoy. And if instead of my desire, I prefer to fill yours, it is a sign that I love you.

Question: At the congress in Stockholm, you said that the professionals closest to us are teachers and psychologists. Immediately, a teacher with 35 years of experience said, “Finally, my experience is in demand, and I’ll tell you how to teach your methodology of integral education.”

Also a psychologist said, “You do it the wrong way. You can’t do anything. You should be trained for three years, you need to complete psychology courses.” However, she did not finish our training, constantly falls back into her profession, and is unable to grasp the integral methodology. But when she heard your statement, she decided that it was her finest hour.

Answer: Of course not! I meant that it might be easier for a person who is accustomed to methodical work and knows the principles of organizing it to develop our methodology . But neither teachers nor psychologists can be above everyone else. Moreover, to develop the methodology, it is better not to involve teachers but curriculum developers instead because they know how to explain it.

How is a lesson plan in school usually created? First, they speak about one thing, then another, the corresponding representation is drawn, a specific example is given. Similarly, we have to describe in a talk, then a workshop, then questions and answers, etc. You need a specialist who is familiar with the correct presentation of the material for this, someone who lives this, not a teacher, but a curriculum developer.

I mentioned teachers and psychologists because they have an approach, the experience of interaction with an audience, but nothing more. They have to be fully integrated with us in everything else; leaving their previous form, they should be reborn; their inner message should be ours.

So I don’t think that teachers and psychologists are the ones who can immediately go out to people, and by no means should they tell us what to do. If the female psychologist says otherwise, then she has no place among us.

Question: You use the word “round” all the time, for example, “round” desires. What does this mean?

Answer: We are connected, adhered, included in one another in such a way that your desires and thoughts become understood and close to me, and my desires become close and understood by you. We become closer, so much so, that each one is raised above himself; we are connected through a common opinion, shared knowledge, and mutual feeling.

This unity which is created between us becomes the main thing because it is specifically this which produces a third component, the unified image of the one person who is completely similar to nature and is found in absolute harmony with it. In this way, by connecting above ourselves, above our ego, each one of us becomes a harmonious component of nature.

Question: My friend, who lives in Switzerland, came to Moscow and accidentally found herself in an integral workshop that was organized online from Perm. She came home and wrote to me a week later asking, “Do you have such a group in Switzerland?” After tasting it once, she developed a need for this. What can we do with people who would like to continue with integral education?

Answer: You cannot immediately convey the integral methodology long distance. First, you need to agree with a group that wants to study,  go to that city or country where they live, give intensive training, for example, for ten days in the evenings, and thus tune them, as you tune an instrument, to mutual integral sound, so that it produces a good chord, harmony. And then, you can maintain communication long distance, visiting them occasionally.
