How To Start a Dialogue with The Creator

125Question: You said that the Creator and I will be in the same connection as like talking to a person. How can such communication be imagined in the center of the ten where we unite? How does our interaction with this center with this connection happen?

Answer: If you connect with each other in the ten, then to this extent you can connect with the Creator and start a dialogue with Him. And then you have to identify what questions you have. Write them down, scrutinize them between yourselves, and with whatever you find necessary to appeal to the Creator, that is what you address Him with. These can be questions, wishes, all kinds of greetings. Only in short and from all together.

Question: And what I feel from the connection, and I turn from this connection to Him, does that count? Or do we need to formulate a question literally in the ten?

Answer: It is better if you formulate a question, discuss it, and only then ask it together.

Question: What does it mean that Kabbalists ask the Creator a question from the connection? What are they waiting for? Do they want to hear the answer, feel it, see it?

Answer: This is the rise of MAN, the rise of Hisaron, the rise of desire, the rise of what they lack, to get closer to the Creator.

The goal is to get closer to the Creator. Rapprochement can be in the equivalence of qualities. So, all the questions are about how similar our desires are to the desires of the Creator.

Question: Is this a request: “Help us to come to the similarity of You,” or “Tell me how to do it”?

Answer: All this. Only if this is your joint desire, which you have discussed with each other, formalized, and are now raising it together to the Creator, then it will definitely find a place for Him and invoke an answer.

Comment: You said earlier that there will be the same communication with the Creator as with a person.

My Response: Of course. It is even said: “So that the Creator is not a stranger to you.”

Question: How will we feel the connection with the Creator, His answer? What will it be expressed in?

Answer: Ask and start feeling in yourself, start looking in yourself: “In what thoughts, feelings can I sense the Creator? He sent it to me; He definitely sent me an answer right away. And where can I find it within me, in what code, in what language? How is this done?” It is like in computers. It is necessary to look for it: where is His answer?

You can have it in your thoughts, in your intentions, in your connections with your friends. Start digging, poking around.

Question: If He has already sent an answer, when did He send it?

Answer: He has no time, no problems. Usually, His answer is ready before you ask. Because your question also comes from Him, from the Creator.

Spiritual Sleep

565.02Comment: Suppose before going to bed a person is still quite alert and asks to be woken up at a specific time in the morning. But when he is being woken up in the morning, he simply cannot get up. Is there a similar state in the spiritual realm when a person cannot rise?

My Response: It is precisely this state that is very clearly manifested in the spiritual realm.

What does it mean to “go to sleep” from a spiritual point of view? You are immersed in the next level where you understand nothing. It is like a dark night for you. You have no orientation within it as if you are asleep. During such “night” states, which you work out very thoroughly inside yourself, you bring yourself to the morning.

How do you know that you will come in the morning and there will be a light that will illuminate everything from within (you will begin to think, feel, understand), and suddenly this state will begin to manifest itself as wakefulness, as awakening?

This happens because by leaving the previous state where you still had control over yourself yesterday during the day, you have already laid the foundation in advance to awaken again, but on the next level.

You connected yourself in advance with the general managing system and completely disconnected from the possibility of doing anything in this darkness.

How does a sleeping person know that he will wake up? Where does he have this internal alarm clock?

He kind of turns it on inside himself. We do not have this in our world. But in the spiritual world, we deliberately perform special actions as if forcing the surrounding nature to awaken us. That is how we work with the environment.

And then it turns out that it works in such a way that we wake up, meaning a person’s eyes open to that night state that is now turning into day. What was unclear, completely incomprehensible and entangled suddenly starts to manifest, unfold, be realized, and sensed. So, instead of night, day comes.

So, what is the problem then? The thing is that there is no night or day outside of me. But when I begin to feel new sensations, a new mind, new thoughts, new understanding, it means that what used to be perceived by me as night is now perceived as day.

Acquire a Spiritual Mind

962.2Question: Is it possible to acquire a spiritual mind through actions?

Answer: Of course! But only if we act purposefully.

What kind of purposeful action is in our world through which we can acquire a spiritual mind? Just one—to group together. This is what nature is offering us now. It offers a not very good method, but, in principle, this is its method. That is, there is pressure on our desires, and we have no choice but to obey.

Question: What is this submission?

Answer: It is in that we make unreasonable movements and just act for the connection between us.

Question: What are these unreasonable actions?

Answer: Unreasonable means those that I do not understand yet: Why they should be, how they work, and so on. But this is what children do and this is how they grow up.

Kabbalah calls us to do the same. It says we have no other choice. If we want to grow, if we want to understand where we are and why we are so unlucky, then we must act as nature shows us. Nature challenges us to connect with each other and become like it.

Therefore, Kabbalah calls: “Connect, be global and integral, like all of nature! See what it shows you. In your egoistic disparate connections, you cannot regulate anything, and you cannot control yourself and society.

Since nature has turned around and now shows you that it is one, you also must be one with it and with each other. As soon as you begin to act like this, you will immediately acquire the mind and realize that a completely different program is operating here.”

Reveal the True Attitude of the Creator

276.02Question: You once said that when you go against the Creator and disagree with Him, it actually builds a person. That is, the Creator arranges everything in such a way that it would be difficult for you to go along, and you just close your eyes and go forward. It turns out that you do not always have to agree with Him, and then can He hear you?

Answer: It might be. It is like when you give a child something disassembled for him to put together. And sometimes you give him something assembled so that he can take it apart. Either way.

But in this, you still reveal the correct attitude of the Creator toward you; He does everything only for you to succeed on your path.

Question: So very strong perseverance and desire changes the system?

Answer: You cannot change the system itself. It is one and exists from the beginning. This is a rigid system. It simply manifests itself more and more in proportion to the growing desire in us.

We do not change anything and do not exist in anything else. We perceive one single, unique universe. As we develop, we reveal it more and more in relation to ourselves, but in reality, it is one and the same.

It is the same as when you wake up, gradually open your eyes, and begin to feel everything that exists around you. But it existed even when you were sleeping.

I Never Repeat Myself!

552.02Comment: It often seems like you repeat the same things over and over.

My Response: No, it is not the same. I am working through the material within myself and trying to give you a completely different kind of energy, to relate in a different cause and effect way what I am saying.

I give out information and believe that my blog is an educational source. A person who wants to study the science of Kabbalah should attend morning and afternoon lessons and read my blog.

If you read it more carefully, then everything I bring there gradually shapes you and creates a certain inner atmosphere, thanks to which you begin to look at the world with different eyes.

I know one thing—when a person feels bad, he is ready to listen to the same thing from morning to evening, like some kind of mantra. Again, again and again. He needs it because it gradually works in him. And even if he reads the same thing, he will suddenly see a deeper meaning in it, wider connections.

Therefore, when you say that I repeat myself all the time, it seems to you purely external now. Then you will understand that I seem to have repeated something because I have gone to the next level and shown you that this is connected with this and that with that. But if you have not gone deeper with me, then at the same level you feel that I am supposedly saying the same thing.

I never repeat myself!

Updating Sensations

216.01Question: You say that you feel a certain, even physical need to study Kabbalah every day. Is there a kind of physical dependence and craving for receiving material daily?

Answer: Of course there is. I am sure that any scientist in any field feels this. When a person is intensively engaged in mental work, analysis, synthesis of data, and turning huge bits of information inside himself, then he naturally suffers without it.

If I am going on vacation, then I set myself up in advance for the fact that I am taking this week off. I am like an animal just walking, walking, walking. For me, a vacation is walking.

But I take a computer and some texts with me and I still work. I contact students, receive information, forward it, and write in my blog. I just need to physically shake myself up.

I sit in my office. And after a week’s rest, I have some other approach, some update.

“Where can we be free?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: Where can we be free?

We are controlled by laws of nature.

There is a general force of nature, and two opposite forces—bestowal and reception—extend from it.

We exist between these forces, and both of these qualities affect us.

Then, the question arises: How do we develop under the influence of these forces? Where do we act? Where are we free? How do we accumulate and correlate these two forces within ourselves? How can we build ourselves out of them?

These are the questions that the wisdom of Kabbalah engages in: how we receive these two forces in an optimal balance, and with their help, shape ourselves so as to resemble the very laws of nature, to arise and reach equivalence of form with the force of bestowal in nature. These very laws gave us the opportunity to control the pace of our progress in accepting them upon ourselves.

That is the point of our freewill.

How could we act if we do not have freewill? Who would we be? Would we just be like robots, always under control?

Until now, we have always been under control. What does it mean?

Nature as if injects a drop of egoism–the desire to enjoy at others’ expense–into us, and then it does so a little more, and a little more again, and we then get the impetus to move toward all kinds of egoistic goals. The more our egoism inflates, the more we become willing to move to increasingly gain at the expense of others. Nature constantly squeezes the syringe into us until it eventually infuses us with the full amount of egoism.

Our era is characterized by the syringe of egoism having become completely injected into us, with no more egoism left to inject. That is why we have nowhere left to run.

Where do we head from here? What do we do?

Moreover, egoism has become global and integral. In the beginning, we felt good because we reached egoistic global connections in the world and thought that everything would be fine. However, when such connections started depending on everyone, we turned out to be nature’s opposite.

At this juncture, we find ourselves with a major dilemma, and we need to work out what we do about it. Where our fully-inflated egoism coupled with our tightening global connections brings us to increasing problems around the world, today we require a new form of connection-enriching education that would have the ability to guide us on how to change our egoistic connections to altruistic ones. That is the key to a shift to a harmonious and peaceful world.
