Let’s Open Our Eyes!

laitman_278.03Question: How can you call this virus good with a straight face and say that it should be hugged, kissed, and welcomed when in Italy more than 720 people died from this virus in one day. Are ethics and empathy foreign to a Kabbalist?

Answer: What would change if I cry? I have seen a lot of things in my lifetime in all sorts of debates and bickering. All my life I have been struggling with rigidness, hatred, and misunderstanding.

Let us say that some wave comes that cuts people’s lives short. Naturally, we cannot be happy about this. But on the other hand, we must look for the rational seed in this, because nature is a closed system that does not do anything in vain as narrow-minded people think. Everything happens exactly according to the decision of the system itself, which restores itself and moves from state to state.

If the system needs to wipe out a couple of millions of people, it does it. And this is its cure. That I might be among this couple of millions—so I will be. What can I do? I will anyway.

Therefore, do not relate to what is happening like a small child. Relate to this from the point of view of the global nature. If it has to cleanse itself in such a way, it will cleanse on any level: still, vegetative, animate, and human as well.

I am not ignoring such questions; I am trying to explain how to correctly perceive an occurring situation. The easiest thing to do is to close your eyes and cry like a small child so as not to see evil. To open your eyes and look at this correctly, as an adult, is very difficult.

The World Of Roots And The World Of Consequences

712.03Remark: The form of corporeal reality is similar to the spiritual one. The difference is only in the quality of the material. There is no detail in our reality that would not have a root in the upper world.

In other words, our world is the world of consequences and the spiritual world, or the world of forces, is the world of roots, i.e., root causes.

My Reply: Everything is very simple. There are reasons and there are consequences. The cause is the upper world, and the effect is our world. Depending on this, we can define them like that.

Question: You said that in the spiritual worlds there are such phenomena that have no consequences in our world. There is a wider range of various sensations there and are not all of them materialized in our world?

Answer: Yes. What do the spiritual world and our world mean? The spiritual world is what is felt in our desires that are corrected into bestowal, into love for others. Our world is what is felt in our uncorrected, selfish desires.

Naturally, there is a difference in sensations because both worlds, their boundaries, calibration, and everything else, are determined only relative to a person. Therefore, we can talk either about what is felt by an ordinary person in our world, not corrected in his egoism, or by a person who has already risen above his egoism and feels what is happening in the intention for bestowal or love for the neighbor.

Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 2/9/20

Laitman_630.2Question: Is the intensity of the impact of the light the same on each level or does the intensity increase according to the height of the level?

Answer: Of course. The point in the heart awakens a stronger impact of the light unto itself according to its need to develop, which is determined by its environment.

We study in Talmud Eser Sefirot about this in a very accurate manner. The five lights NRNHY change on each level according to its intensity and the need to nourish the soul.

Question: How can we determine whether the point in the heart has awakened? What does a person feel?

Answer: If a person feels a very strong desire to understand what he is living for, what there is beyond his own life and death, how the world and the universe are organized and built, who manages it, why, how and for what purpose, if he feels that without an answer to such questions he cannot continue to live a quiet peaceful life and that he cannot enjoy anything in life, then such a serious attitude to the meaning of life should bring him to the wisdom of Kabbalah and show him where he can find the answers to these questions.

Question: We know what it means to receive in the corporeal world. In what sense does this receiving differ from spirituality?

Answer: Spiritual receiving is filling in altruistic attributes. To the extent that I am in the state of love and bestowal, I begin to feel the attributes that fill me.

Question: We gather in a ten and begin to raise our soul in it until we feel ascent and adhesion and as a result the one soul of this ten is created. What’s next?

Answer: Next, these tens will begin to gather, and thus you will begin to increase and unite the general soul until it reaches its ideal initial state in which everyone comes together into one general structure where the Creator is revealed in a perfect manner.

Question: Is it true that the Torah is a book of codes that has four levels of study?

Answer: Yes, that’s true. The Torah is a book that is not understood at all. It does describe everything as a historic story, but in fact it is not a historic story. There are four levels of attaining the Torah and each is deeper than the other. The wisdom of Kabbalah engages in the revelation of all these levels, of the gradual entry to the code of the Torah.

The Dreaded “Old Normal”

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 5/24/20

“In this moment,” writes journalist Anne Helen Petersen on BuzzFeed “the primary tension in America is how, and when, life is going to ‘return to normal.’ But that ‘normal’ was an economy that … was built on a form of consumption that felt compulsory, …a ‘normal’ in which the vast majority of people still felt economically precarious, burned out, …and most still struggled to cobble together enough savings to protect them from medical or financial catastrophe. A ‘normal’ in which the various manifestations of the gig economy — and the lack of healthcare, labor protections, or the general safety net that accompanies them — have been, well, normalized. So what if we don’t actually want to go back to that?” she asks.

Instead, Peterson argues that “Part of the reticence to reopen the economy is rooted in the very real fear of widespread infection. And part … is a manifestation of a desire to reject that old way of living entirely. There are different ways of being with each other as a society, different ways of caring and knowing and growing. As cheesy as all of that sounds, it’s certainly better than being told to do your part to save the country by going to Disney World or trying to distract ourselves from our exhaustion and fear by buying skincare products.”

As I have been saying since the outbreak of COVID-19, we are at the start of a new era. And that new era begins with rehab from addiction to consumerism and adoption of more pro-social, humane values.

The sooner we adopt them and usher in the new era, the sooner we will overcome the virus. Social distancing reflects our inner distance from each other, our alienation. But if we, as Peterson put it, reject the old way of life and start caring, we will not infect each other with viruses. Just as social distancing does not apply to families, it will not apply to anyone once there is no emotional distance between us.

Indeed, the old “normal” was anything but normal. It made many of us depressed, obsessed, obese, addicted, and lonely. If we only stop for a minute and reflect on our lives and what we want from them, I’m sure we can build together a new normal of connection, care, and solidarity, a world where everyone wants to live.

My Thoughts On Twitter 5/24/20

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

The economy is overheated, the need for labor is falling, 30% of the population is left with no means. In addition to the jobs necessary for society, another necessary one arises—the integral connection of society. This must be taught to everyone! In it lies the success of all changes!

There may be a way out of quarantine, but there is no way out of the economic crisis. If we do not adopt the NEP: support the enterprises necessary for society. Everyone besides those who work for societal necessities should be sent to mandatory education “new life skills,” which pays a stipend.

“The Creator and His name are one”—occurs when HaVaYaH, our ten, is correctly connected by all ten Sefirot with its properties, all their smallest inner sub-Sefirot, achieving perfect unity corresponding to the nature of the Creator, absolute bestowal.

It is necessary to relate to work in a group (ten) practically, effectively, striving to achieve the form and essence of a connection similar to the Creator. We are advancing toward this in 125 steps, more precisely mutually calibrating ourselves, achieving a perfect revelation of the Creator in our common Kli, in HaVaYaH.

The Creator always dwells in a group, and to the extent that ten friends set themselves up to correctly unite, interconnect, and bestow, the Creator reveals between them—starting to play their violin (King David’s).

How can we become similar to the Creator if we are egoists? We are egoists, but we can unite above our egos, in bonds of mutual bestowal, unity, and love, despite rejection. We are like an out-of-tune musical instrument that needs to be tuned in order to play correctly.

The Creator is absolute. He does not change, revealing as the force of absolute good relative to us. What changes is our perception, desire. Though we say that the Creator changes, the changes happen exclusively in us. In order to reveal the Creator, we must bring ourselves to equivalence with His qualities.

All the friends must agree to give themselves to the Creator—they unite together and form a single vessel with which to sense the Creator, where He can clothe. We want for the Creator to clothe in us and rule over us. We submit to the authority of the quality of bestowal.

America is trying to bring back its economic independence, which is at the mercy of China. Whereas China, having become a world exporter, is discovering the other side of the coin: everyone is dependent on her, but she is also dependent on everyone else. Both sides must understand what nature is trying to show us—that the solution lies in integration!

We’re witnessing the recognition of evil, unmasking and the demolition of a system that used to be progressive. It will still allow correcting the US economy, but its days are numbered. It does not meet the needs of a global world, because it is built on the ego of the powerful. And today it brings more harm than good.

In the current situation one major player, the United States, is trying to reduce the export of another major player, China. No one can be right as long as everyone thinks only of himself. Only in striving for the common benefit can one be right, and this is the next stage.

We’ve become viruses for the planet! A #virus is a parasite, when propagating it harms or even kills the host. This is exactly what #capitalism does without realizing it. Now we understand this, but we are afraid of the medicine—a societal change, a change of our lifestyle.

Nature develops its inanimate-vegetative-animal parts, and for the last thousand years it has been developing man for a greater common interaction. But during these couple of thousand years, man violated the principle of interconnection with his egoism.
Only with our poor connections do we cause viruses and global warming!

#Jerusalem is a special place, the spiritual center of the world. It is a certain point in the universe in which enormous spiritual forces are concentrated. A spiritual, non material point. This is what we must reveal.

#Jerusalem will be raised by the whole world—in our hearts! Jerusalem is the heart, the epicenter of all desires and aspirations. In their midst, a Temple will be erected, a state of desires when everything is based on mutual love for each other.
Inside it, an upper common force of love, “Creator,” will be revealed.

The more I integrate into the ten, imagining the Creator in it, the more I tune my soul, like a musical string relative to other strings. The group should set itself up like a violin so that everyone is like one person with one heart. And then the Creator will be revealed in us.

We don’t play the violin—the Creator plays the whole ten together. Lights flow in and out of our Kelim, giving rise to harmonics and glows at all levels. We feel it as the Creator’s conversation with us, He appears in our sensations according to the right connection between us.

Medicine For Humanity

laitman_962.2Question: According to the World Health Organization, 7 million people die every year from exposure to a bad environment. These are children under five years old and old people who have many diseases.

For some reason, people do not talk about it, and today it is of little concern to anyone. And everyone is talking about the coronavirus. It even seems to me that there are some kind of double standards, as if someone needed it.

Answer: Of course, there are double standards. In general, we look at this virus very stupidly. It is the cure! A medicine for humanity. So do not worry about the fact that it has come and think about when it will leave. On the contrary.

Question: Is this medicine for the human mind? After all, many will ask: “How can this be a medicine if people die?”

Answer: Why do you think that dying is not good?

Comment: No one wants to lose their loved ones.

When I said that I was ready to die, the main thing is that the planet lives, that our children could live, I received 1,000 messages: “You can die, let your family die, but we do not want to die.”

My Response: You can understand people. This is a natural, instinctive, petty, selfish desire.

Question: But why is this medicine in the form of a coronavirus?

Answer: It is for society. So that it understands what needs to change.

And it will understand, but it will be in a very bad way. And if it doesn’t understand, there will be war, a terrible war.

So, it is better to let this virus continue. It will gradually purify everything: us, our thoughts, our souls. I’m sure everything will be fine.

laitman_282.01Belief in the greatness of the Creator depends on the environment. If the environment constantly speaks of the greatness of the Creator and conveys the feeling that only this force exists and determines my whole future to me, that it alone rules in the world and in all reality, then this is how I will relate to it.

If the environment doesn’t convey such a feeling to me, I won’t be able to appreciate the Creator. Only if the environment treads on me by inspiring the greatness of the Creator and the need for His revelation can I awaken and continue my path along the path to understanding the Creator.

The only thing we lack is an environment that inspires us with the greatness of the Creator that constantly treads on me and awakens me. Beginners still receive the greatness of the Creator individually, but in the future it will increasingly depend on the environment. If the environment doesn’t take care of me, then I will fade. If it takes care of me, I will grow like a plant after the rain.

What Can We Give To The Creator?

laitman_938.01Question: What can a man give to the Creator through his friends?

Answer: First, all friends must agree with him on this action of surrendering themselves to the Creator.

It consists of the fact that they connect with each other and turn into one vessel where they feel Creator, where He can be clothed.

We turn into Nukva, the female property, relative to the Creator, who is the masculine property, and we want the Creator to cloth in us, fill us, and rule over us. We are ready to surrender ourselves to the power of bestowal.
