Question: What does it mean to carry out the mission of the people of Israel, to return to the religion?

Answer: This is not what is required. It is necessary only to begin to be involved with uniting the people. This is called the wisdom of Kabbalah, the wisdom of connection and unity. The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks only about this.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains the structure of the world and the great collective system that manages it. The upper higher system of management is designed to help people understand and attain it. And it is only possible by detaching from it and learning it gradually from this state.

It is precisely due to our division, separation, and shattered state that we slightly begin to discover this higher system of conduct,“as far as light excelleth darkness,” (Ecclesiastes 2:13). This system is singular, complete, integral, and analog; we must gradually build ourselves the same way within.

The moment we connect between us in a general common “circle” where we are all are equal, where all friends help each other and are connected together with love, then the higher system begins to act in a good way towards us and helps us. Then we advance towards the good.

But Israel is at the center of all humanity, at the foundation of all religions and faiths. And so, the moment we begin to advance towards the good by uniting to be like one person with one heart, we immediately pass this good power to the whole world.

The whole world also begins to feel itself as circular, linked. Suddenly everyone understands how wonderful it is to be in connection with others and how much individuality, competition, and our thirst for money and control harms us. On the contrary, it is much better to be equal and united together.

This attitude comes rom Israel and influences the entire world. All of humanity then begins to receive a round form like this. In this manner, instead of being a negative source, Israel becomes a source of good for the whole world.

Such a task stands before us: “becoming a light to the nations.” This is the main thing that we must do.

Certainly as long as missiles are falling upon us it is necessary to fight and defend ourselves, to stop them. But we must understand that the military operation itself will not lead to any solution. Everyone already understands this. We will have no place in this world if we remain as we are.

The army is imperative until we connect among us to the degree that Hamas will eliminate its missiles and tunnels itself, thanks to our influence. They are linked with us, and through our separation within the people of Israel, we invite their fire upon us.

That is how they unconsciously are fighting with the evil found within us. And the moment we transform our evil into good and cover ourselves with love, a protective dome of love instead of the Iron Dome anti-missile system, our enemies will become friends and will also want to join us and learn from us.

They all fiercely want to be with us, but through our internal separation we reject them, send them away, and produce hatred in them, and cause all the disasters in the world.

Question: What evil are you talking about? Other people in our position would have already annihilated such hostile neighbors. Instead we are healing our enemies in our hospitals at the height of the war.

Answer: This is not what they want from us at all. Our hospitals don’t interest them at all. They want to receive a new human nature so that they will participate together with us and the whole world. Then connection and love will prevail, creating a circle of unity.

Question: How is it possible to explain to people what the Light that Reforms is? Nobody will believe me.

Answer: Involve them in an activity so they will feel this power themselves. Use fewer words, the main thing is that a person will get the sensation that is in the connection, that between us it is possible to create a good state. It is necessary to reach unity and closeness of hearts, and then people will feel that within this connection of the hearts there is a general higher force present for them that can control them and fill them to perfection.

If you give people an experience like this that they feel, then there will be no need to explain anything to them. You think that it is necessary to explain things like in a lecture at a university from the point of view of logic, but there is no logic here. This is something that is completely irrational.

An irrational phenomenon means that it is impossible to see a precise system that is active between the initial state and the result in it.  The system is hidden because we don’t have the senses and mind that would make it possible to see it.

This is an internal system of nature that is not seen by us. But if we near it, we begin to discern it and this world will appear transparent to us. The connections between all of its parts will be revealed and then we will see how we are connected: Israel, every human being, and all the events that are happening with us now.

Then it will be clear to us that we have no other choice in this situation: First and foremost we, as the ones who possess this method, must go out and begin to explain it to people. And we must explain that in this we are turning to the feelings of people, not their intellect, guiding them through specific states and performing exercises with them from which the understanding will come to them.

The people themselves will scrutinize all the answers by discussing our questions in circle. We don’t need to prompt them with the answer; they will find it by themselves, and that is how they will advance time after time.

That is the game! That is the way a small child learns about life. It is possible to explain it to him a thousand times, but this won’t help until he tries himself, trying to do it one way or another, and in the end it succeeds for him. In this manner he learns. It is impossible to get by without effort, without investing energy in something that we don’t know. That is how we learn and grow.

We organize a workshop in a circle and ask questions, and within the circle it is necessary to attain such a connection that within this state of unity there will be a clear answer for everyone. This is natural and true learning, like a child does. In this way we open ourselves; we develop and grow without frivolously repeating the words and opinions of someone like a mantra. Only in this way does a person grow. Despite the state of emergency and the missiles, we must go to every place where they can hear us, even in the shelters, and do everything that is required of us at this time.

Question: What are the ways of adding the intention to the seminars that are conducted for the general public?

Answer: The common thread of any seminar should be the thought that if we want to feel good there is no other way but realizing that we all are a part of one unified system and are totally interconnected.

It means that if we act as equals, as if we were members of one family, we’d be able to lead good lives because we’d be compatible with nature.

At this time, nature doesn’t require us to be “anti-egoistic,” nor does it want us to elevate above our ego. So far, nature wants us to realize the fact that we are all “tied” to each other, depend on each other as gears in one mechanism, and have to “rotate” in mutual harmony. This is what nature demands of humanity as a whole

However, humanity that now numbers seven billion has an internal part in; the role of this internal part is to serve as a conductor of the mutual force that can synchronize our moves in a “common dance.” In fact, it is the power of the Light. Only the Light can arrange all seven billion to consider each other and interact in a harmonious manner. It is the Light that creates coherence and originates reciprocal, mutual sensations in us; the Light influences everybody in an integral and unified way, thus bringing the entire system to act.

However, in order for the Light to descend and do its job, we need an “adapter” between it and humanity. The part that fulfills this job is called Israel. Our role is maintaining connection with the Light. It means that among us, in our little Bnei Baruch group we need to establish not just a family type of connection, but something much broader than that.

We have to be similar to the Light in our intention to bestow to each other so our friends become more important to us than we are to ourselves so that all our actions benefit and serve our friends. It is not enough to live as a common family in an “ant hill.” I exist only to bring benefit to all of Bnei Baruch. This is the real work for the sake of bestowal.

This is how the Light manifests itself; it happens because our joint desires are similar to the Light in their qualities, then the Light reveals in us and through us to the rest of seven billion.

However, the Light acts quite differently in the rest of humanity. First, only on the principle of bringing people together: “Don’t do to others what you hate for yourself.” Then, the Light gradually people reach “loving their neighbor as themselves.” So far it is due to mutual interdependence. Only after this level is attained do people approach the level of “loving the Creator.”

Accordingly, there are three steps that are defined by the Torah as commandments:

1. Do not do to others what you hate for yourself.

2. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

3. Love the Lord your God.

All of the above refers to unity among people within one spiritual system.

Question: Suppose that in a circle we attain closeness of our hearts. Will this prevent missiles from falling on us?

Answer: After an experience like this, people will understand and agree that it is possible to attain a better result through connection; they will advance. They will feel that the people of Israel truly possess a unique power with whose help it is possible to correct the world.

They need to come to a conclusion like this gradually—another workshop and another, as many as is required. Education is not acquired all at once, but, each time, little by little, they gradually begin to discover that this is so.

The main thing is that we will see how these actions themselves suddenly begin to change reality. It will become noticeable that through activities like these we make it possible for the Light to work within every human desire. Throughout the world, positive changes will happen. We will feel how everything will begin to relax and everyone will begin to relate to Israel differently.

Suddenly, it will become clear that the United Nations is no longer directed against us, and our enemies and haters suddenly will agree to peaceful measures.

There is no choice. Only Israel has free choice and operates independently in the world. Whether we want it or not, everything revolves around us. We cannot say that we are not guilty and that we don’t understand what they want from us. We belong to the people of Israel and so, we must bring the world to correction! The Kabbalists already wrote about this five thousand years ago.

In fact, we are found in the world of Infinity; there is no other state. However, in our minds, in our senses, as a result of our desires being egoistic and damaged, we feel a state called “our world” instead of the world of Infinity, and so, in principle, the only thing that we are doing is correcting our senses, correcting ourselves.

Question: If I want to feel the Creator, is it enough for me to sit in a circle and be integrated with the friends?

Answer: Theoretically, if you were in a circle all the time and were to work on your connection with them all the time, then you would have no more need for anything in life, nothing!

This is the ideal physical, mental, and emotional form within which it is possible to work on all of the nuances of our connections, all the way to the spiritual ones, without exception.

Question: And nothing additional is needed?

Answer: Not exactly. We must go out to the world and take all kinds of problems from them. However, again, this is to increase the connection between us even more.

Suppose that we completed some mass of work among us, some egoistic density, and we connect. However, this is not enough to reveal the Upper Light. From where can we receive an addition? We begin from within our circle to go out to disseminate, attaching an egoistic mass to ourselves, an even greater density, and this helps us to come closer between us because we are working above it.

We must go out to people in this manner. However, in principle, all of our work is within, in our circle.

Question: What is the goal of the exercise, (Psalms 34:15) “Depart from evil”? How does it develop us?

Answer: This is our first spiritual exercise. Indeed all of our inner work is to go far from evil and to do good. “Depart from evil” is a level of bestowal for the sake of bestowal, Hafetz Hesed (delighting in mercy); and “do good” is already reception for the sake of bestowal, work with the vessels themselves, with the corrected desires.

In the meantime, it is up to us to only distance ourselves from evil, to rise above our desires. That is how we learn to connect among us and to acquire the characteristic of bestowal. The more we are connected and close to each other, each one of us and all of us together discover the characteristic of bestowal and thanks to that we are ready to discover the force field we are found in.

This field fills all of space. This space was once empty. After all, there was a Tzimtzum (restriction) and the Light was removed. But now, when we acquire the characteristic of bestowal, we suddenly discover that the Light did not disappear! The Light is here, and we can feel it more and more strongly: in the beginning as Ohr Ha Nefesh, something static, that passively fills the entire expanse of our lives, all of our emotions, all of our characteristics.

This Light is discovered with our new sense, which are derived from outside of ourselves. We can reach this feeling, there is nothing mystical about it: This is nature, although it is the higher nature. The Creator: this is nature. We simply investigate reality through our new senses. The person must only adhere to the group and the Creator, and listen to and carry out all the advice of the teacher precisely.

Question: Must we respond and carry out the corrections of those desires that are discovered?

Answer: Correction is connection. The desire is shattered and must be reconnected. How is it possible to feel the Creator if not through the characteristic of bestowal?

The characteristic of bestowal can be acquired above the characteristic of reception. We can play only with these two characteristics: a desire for pleasure, which was in the guest, and a desire to bestow, which was within the host: two forces, reception and bestowal, Light and vessel.

This is the only thing that exists in reality. And after that, the force of bestowal is awakened within the vessel. The guest learns what bestowal is through feeling the difference between himself and the host.

And in the meantime, we are not ready to feel how we differ from the host. So we must work with the environment. That is why there was the shattering of the desires, to give us the possibility of working on the connection between them.

In fact, spiritual work is very simple. It only seems complicated to us, and this is because we are confused. But when a person begins to acquire the method, no complexities and confusion are left in it. On the contrary, everything is simple. There are only two parameters: a desire to receive and a desire to bestow. And everything else takes place and is discovered between them, between the two. There is nothing artificial here.

Question: Suppose that we want to solve some problem. What must we talk about to reach the circular form?

Answer: First of all, it is necessary to discuss what the form of a circle is, which unique advantages are included within our connection in this form, and what we need it for?

When we have some common problem, we come together naturally, like animals that immediately huddle into a flock when danger is identified. Come, let’s talk about this, we can overcome any problem if only we unite. It is possible to correct any situation if we attain a good connection.

Question: Every year some critical situation appears that attracts global attention: military actions or unusual events. Why do these problems never cease?

Answer: The problems continue to appear because we don’t unite according to the order of the day. We must constantly advance by increasing our unity all the time. But we aren’t doing this; we don’t dedicate our attention to it. We don’t hear what the Torah says about the need for loving others as ourselves, love of friends, and the obligation to become a Light to the nations.

This is the entire mission of the people of Israel as a unique part of creation that connects all of reality with the higher force of bestowal and love, with the Upper Light that Reforms. There is this force in nature and if we learn to use it, we gain a lot.

But to use it we need to make a form similar to it, meaning a circular form. If we become like the higher force, it begins to influence us to the degree of this adaptation. It approaches us and solves all of our problems because they arise only because the Light is far from us.

This is like if we are exposed to the light of the sun that illuminates and brings life to everything, or we connect some system to an electrical outlet and the system begins to move, to become alive. Through our connection, we stimulate a higher force field to influence us more strongly, and thanks to this, we are released from all troubles and begin to develop in a pleasant and good way. In this way we improve our situation.

All that is required for this is to organize roundtables and workshops. Thanks to them, we become similar to the good force field and it influences us. Instead of influencing us in the opposite way, as happens in our usual egoistic nature, it begins to influence us positively.

This good influence will change our lives for the better in all realms of life. Try it and see. The wisdom of Kabbalah promises this to you. And all the questions will be solved from our practical connection empirically.

Question: What is the essence of the roundtable? What must be done to attain connection in a circle?

Answer: The circle symbolizes a state in which the conditions of the workshop are carried out. Each one nullifies himself to the others and feels himself as being less than everyone. It follows that all of us are absolutely equal, and thanks to this we connect into one whole, as one person with one heart.

We attain such a state where we stop feeling ourselves and only feel our connection.

Suppose that ten people gather. If we succeed in connecting, then we attain the next level in which we become one equal to the previous ten, together with something extra, extra force.

Question: What should you do if during a workshop material problems cover you to such a degree that you don’t know how to escape them?

Answer: For each new state, it doesn’t matter if it is positive or negative, it needs to be clarified so that a person can think to himself: “I remain in the previous direction of thoughts.” This is necessary.

You can’t imagine what comes over you during the time of the morning lesson. There are 300-400 men sitting before me and a large number of people connected by Internet. If I weren’t successful in organizing my inner thoughts, then it is unknown what could have happened in the lesson, what could have passed to my students, what a waste, what a mess!

Thoughts can be different: sometimes stupid, sometimes confused, sometimes scary, like in a horror movie. They might be completely out of place: about problems at home, with children, problems connected to sex. Anything is possible! It doesn’t depend on age or on any different factors. All of these thoughts are sent to us so that we will process them.

I cannot think about controlling myself or you. You are, after all, at the beginning of the path.

If I don’t control my thoughts, then my lesson won’t be worth anything. Instead of raising the students, I lower them because they receive everything through me. That is the responsibility of the moderator.

Imagine that you are a body of a mother and an embryo is developing in it, the most precious thing to you. Would you agree to it receiving nourishment that is harmful or incorrect? Therefore, all the states experienced must be controlled.

Baal HaSulam newspaper, “The Nation”: In that sense, we are like a pile of nuts, united into a single body from the outside by the sack that envelops and unites them. Their measure of unity does not make them a united body, and each movement applied to the sack produces in them tumult and separation. Thus, they consistently arrive at new unions and partial aggregations. The fault is that they lack the inner unity, and their whole force of unity comes through an outside incident. To us, this is very painful to the heart.

Someone who supposes that we can unite the people and build a nation according to the usual pattern is greatly mistaken. Without understanding our nature, he thinks that we can act like other peoples who go back home after a forced expulsion, such as in the days of Stalin. The people who were expelled returned and re-organized their lives. But we have not succeeded in doing this because we have lost our original roots. We were once united and were brothers to each other, not brothers in misfortune like today, but brothers in mutual bestowal. Abraham initially gathered people from all corners of Babylon who were ready to go toward connection with him, unlike the rest of humanity.

This unity that Abraham gave was reinforced at Mount Sinai when the people who fled from Egypt became as one man with one heart and received the Torah. But later the connection was broken and the love became unfounded hatred; as a result of this, we went into exile. This hatred passed in part to the nations of the world as well.

As of today, we are not ready to be reborn as a people and a nation without reaching a correction of each one separately and a collective correction between us. If we don’t reach this, then only an artificial “collection” of people who do not correspond to the higher laws of nature or the laws of the lower nature that operate here.

We are not ready to build something according to the laws of this world because we originally didn’t belong to this world, and we cannot be built according to the higher laws because we have not as yet connected to the higher level. Aa a result, we are not here nor there, not this way nor that way.

What is amazing is that we were always strangers and foreigners in this world. And the 66 years of the existence of the nation of Israel are not proof of anything. I am not asserting this for anti-Zionistic reasons but from the spiritual standpoint: We undoubtedly have lost the natural power of unity, which is inherent to all the rest of the peoples on a physical level.

For us it was a spiritual force that united us. So now we are not a people, and our current consolidation is not a nation until we understand and agree that we only have one simple constitution, which is, “And you shall love your friend as yourself,” Arvut (mutual guarantee), “as one man with one heart.” We have no other constitution. And if we maintain this condition, we can restore the people and the nation.

We must build our lives according to this constitution, for it isn’t just plucked out of the air. Rather it was received from above, and this is the difference between it and the beautiful words that can be found in the fundamental laws of every nation. Clearly this will not be immediate, but we must realize this law gradually, and bring a spiritual life on earth. And it is also up to us to be a “light to the nations” in its full meaning.

Yes, it’s hard work, but without it we will not succeed in anything. Otherwise we can be fellow sufferers at best, like nuts in a sack, and nothing better will happen with us.

This is the current situation, and it may continue for another number of years until one of two things will happen:. Either we will carry out the correction or we will not be able tolerate the situation any longer.
