A Day To Get Rid Of Bad Memories

549.02Question: Before the New Year, New Yorkers would get rid of bad memories from the past year. They would write them down on paper and throw them in fire. A special place was dedicated for this in the city center in Times Square.

The Day of Getting Rid of Bad Memories was held for the 15th time. Previously, sheets of paper with records were destroyed with a paper shredder, but now they are being burned. People say farewell to memories of the pandemic, about what happened there, about the change of power, about everything.

Tell me. Is it necessary to get rid of all the bad? Do you need to be cleansed like this?

Answer: No. Under no circumstances should you purify yourself just like that, because by doing so, you leave room for new, similar actions and sensations. We must realize why we had them, how we can really get rid of them, and how to make sure that nothing else comes in their place.

That is, work must be done on the flaws.

Question: Isn’t this dredging up the past? You know, people say: “Why stir things up? You need to turn a new page and that’s it—forget about it.”

Answer: No. Never flip the page. You will turn it over, but it still remains. It must be continuously corrected so that you can go through it again and fix it. From the place you have now reached, go through all the old states and correct them.

Comment: But this happens if a person feels that he has made mistakes. And he usually thinks: “These troubles have fallen on us and we need them to go away.”

My Response: This is like some ancient sorcery, like some kind of cult this throwing everything into the fire.

Question: Do you think that it will not burn, that it will be worse?

Answer: You will not get rid of it that way. There is no fix. On the contrary, I want to get rid of it all, not fix anything, not keep  what is corrected, but simply throw it away.

Question: And in this case, if I live like this—it is so easy to throw it away—then what can I expect the year after?

Answer: Nothing better than the year before. We see it now.

Question: And if I do this work on mistakes, if I try to correct myself?

Answer: Then it is a completely different matter. When you change, the world changes because the world around you is practically a copy of what is happening inside of you.

Question: That is, we need another spot in Times Square?

Answer: Yes. So that people will stand and feel how they can change, how to feel the outside world as better—through themselves.

Question: If people were standing and were given the feeling that now they should connect with each other and change themselves, would we welcome the new year in a better state?

Answer: Of course. They would look at it with reasonable eyes and not such that some terrible things are happening in the world and we just get caught in them.

Question: So you always point out that a person should not look outside, but inside himself?

Answer: Only inside. The outside world is a reflection of us, our inner self.

Question: So, we must turn our eyes inward?

Answer: Inside.

Feel Your Eternal Part

198Comment: You say that a person can be corrected only by seeing from the perspective of what he is doing to his soul. That is, when committing an offense, I see what I am doing to my eternal part when I reveal the whole picture of cause-and-effect in its overall scope and not at some short period of life.

My Response: Even within a short period of life a person can feel that everything is interconnected, can understand that he is connected to a common system, and can begin to realize that all other people are part of him, that life is short, and he will soon discover—either in this life or after—that by harming others he basically harms himself.

Moreover, this is the most direct harm that he inflicts on himself because in reality, we all represent one whole. We just do not see this system because it is revealed to us when we leave our body.

A person begins to master the properties of leaving the body either during this life or after when the body dies if you give him the opportunity to somehow feel it..

But it is possible. This is what Kabbalah deals with—a method for mastering the feeling that we are one single whole. Only in this case will a person have a different attitude toward others, as toward himself. So it is written: “Love your neighbor as yourself” because in this way we come to the only correct state that actually exists in the universe and only is hidden from us.

The secret world—the one that we do not feel—includes all of us as a single whole, as cells of one body.

197.01Question: Why are some people given the opportunity to see the future? Is this some kind of programming error in nature?

Answer: No. Kabbalists have the possibility of foresight, according to the source of their soul. But I don’t think one should envy this property. There is nothing good in this. A person is simply given the duty to properly control himself and lead other people.

Comment: But not only Kabbalists are predictors of the future, for example, Wolf Messing and Nostradamus did.

My Response: Their abilities should be considered not from the point of view of Kabbalah, but from the point of view of the psychological perception of the world.

This is also a peculiarity of souls when they are given the opportunity to rise above physical reality and begin to feel the forces that draw this reality for us and can draw another one.

We exist in space, and everything that appears before us is the forces of nature. There is nothing material in the fact that we are here and now, that we feel that something exists around us, that we interact with each other, and so on. These are all the forces of nature that create this picture for us.

Can Thought Change Reality?

420.06In the News (Daily Mail): “A paralysed man in Australia has become the first person to tweet a message via direct thought thanks to a tiny brain implant the size of a paperclip.

“Philip O’Keefe, 62, who suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which has left him unable to move his upper limbs, tweeted: ‘No need for keystrokes or voices. I created this tweet just by thinking it.’ #helloworldbci

“He was diagnosed with ALS, a form of Motor Neurone Disease, in 2015, and successfully turned his direct thought to text using the Stentrode brain computer interface (BCI) on December 23.  …

“‘My hope is that I’m paving the way for people to tweet through thoughts,’ was his closing statement.”

My Comment: Thought is material.

Question: When you say that thought is material, what do you mean by it?

Answer: That we influence the world with it. That is, a person can learn to influence some external device—electrical, electronic, even mechanical, or some other—and put it into action at will.

Question: These are mechanical actions. Can we mentally connect or mentally convey: “I love you”?

Answer: You can. But this also requires very serious training.

Question: Do I need to do any exercises?

Answer: These are Kabbalistic exercises when a person begins to work on himself, on his desires, and thoughts until he begins to unite with others in these thoughts, desires, intentions, and goals. Then people perfectly feel each other, and they do not need any words or any external communication for this. They can be at a distance—literally like the two ends of the Earth—and feel close, and as if talking to each other.

Question: Must there be a certain purity of thought here?

Answer: Naturally. Only if everyone wants to communicate with each other only out of love.

Question: Can we pierce space with only the intention of love?

Answer: Only this!

Question: Does a mother maybe feel her child who is a thousand kilometers away? Do twins often feel each other too? There are many examples. Is it based on this?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Question: Is the future of mankind based on mental connection with each other?

Answer: I think that we will have such technology for the internal development of a person and the ability to connect him to some external devices or tools so that we will not have any problem of interaction between people and machines. And we will control them with the power of thought. It is also material like all other forces.

Question: Why is it not given to us now to understand this?

Answer: Just as we were not given electricity, x-rays, and chemistry, not anything was just given. It is revealed gradually to the extent that we can somewhat cope with it. You see today how bad relationships, weapons, threats, and all this overtake the correct inner human relationships.

Question: Here, on the contrary, there is no time for thought. Can a thought penetrate only from a position of love?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: By the time we get to this!

My Response: There are no problems on the part of nature; it would like to reveal everything to us. The problem is on our side. Nature reveals the maximum to us that we can handle so as not to destroy ourselves.

Question: So it is trying to protect itself because it knows that we will begin to think in terms of destruction and not in love?

Answer: Definitely! Certainly! What if such a weapon appear were to appear by the power of thought?! Then you and I would be sitting tomorrow on an empty globe. Birds, silence…and only us. A person is very dangerous. There is no greater evil in nature than man.

Question: But will we get there anyway? Will nature guide us?

Answer: Nature will not destroy us. It will still teach us. But learning will be long and possibly painful.

When Boundaries Of Reality Are Blurred

423.01Question: Filmmakers are using technologies firms in many companies are developing to synthetically create dialog and visuals in their productions.

The reality is that in a year or two such technologies that completely copy, not just the visual appearance of a person, but also his voice, that can place anyone in any situation, will be available to everyone. The Internet will be filled with material in which I could see myself in places where I have never been. The frameworks a person can rely on are disappearing and the boundaries of reality are being blurred.

What awaits us when everyone can use your image and voice to create any content?

Answer: We will not pay attention to it. Let’s say they make a puppet out of me and twist it any way they want. Be my guest!

And what is there about me that they can do? Something with me personally? With my image? Everyone will know it is or it is not so. In the end, what difference does it make to me?

I think society by this time will be mature enough for understanding that there are higher values that do not include copying a person and making a parody out of him. Personally, this would not anger me in any way. It would not bother me.

Comment: But in such situations a person feels that the framework of his self-identification, the old reference points, are dissolving. And he does not seem to feel the new ones yet.

My Response: A public person might feel that way. After all, it can confuse voters and they might think: “Look what he said, what he did.” But I think humanity will quickly figure it out.

Everything is coming to a point where we will not pay any attention to what they say about us, what they think, and how they represent us. So, my image runs across the screen as if it is a 100% me and does some tricks: here I lead a gang of robbers, and there I am involved in a theft. So what? If all this becomes routine, we will simply stop focusing on it, we will look at it as tricks performed by a puppet.

Basically, each of us is a puppet. We all play certain roles because they are somehow placed in us and played-out. And man is entirely a product of a certain program. I think humanity will understand this rather quickly.

The most important thing in all this is to rise above your animate, egoistic self and start building yourself on a completely different level where no one can get you because you work for bestowal, for altruism, for connection, and for good relations with others.

And then, no matter what they say about you, it remains somewhere below, on the animate level, and has nothing to do with you. Because in these good states toward others, you are now forming yourself. And it does not bother you at all that Hollywood cartoons are being created from your egoistic self. After all, you are building your altruistic self, not out of caricatures, but by wanting real paintings.

Do You Want To See The World Differently?

254.02Question: What is the most important thing for you to convey to your students?

Answer: The correct worldview: a view of the world, life, a person, and an epoch.

This is the most important thing for me—to position a person toward the right view of his life. To do this, I need to more or less explain to him the picture of the world in which he exists and how it can be changed in the best direction, with what, by what means, and to what this picture of the world should be brought—because it depends on us.

The world is a derivative of our perception. It turns out that we don’t live in the world, but the world lives in us. And this is what you need to convey to a person—that you make your world, you create it, you paint it inside yourself! It’s not easy to get to this point. To start relating to the world like this is a revolution, a person’s very serious internal, spiritual revolution.

It is necessary to bring people to this, to draw their attention to the fact that the world is not what they feel. The world is a derivative of how they relate to it, that is, you can remake and readjust yourself to the perception of another world. The world does not have its own shape, its own form. This is a picture that you can program. And so you can build the world you live in.

Question: And will the world I live in immediately change for me?

Answer: Of course. It will change according to your wishes, your qualities, and your efforts. That is, you create the world.

Comment: Now, in your daily Kabbalah lessons, you have put aside for a while such texts as The  Study of the Ten Sefirot and The Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, and we are studying articles of Baal HaSulam, currently “Peace in the World,” “The Peace,” and so on. Please explain this turnaround.

My Response: This is necessary in order to understand that indeed the world is purely a reflection of our attitude to it.

We exist in a world of upper light. And to the extent that we approach and adapt to this light, we will feel it and feel it in various forms. And these forms should progress depending on our inner change and self-improvement. That’s what I need to bring a person to.

Do you want to see the world differently? Let’s do it!

But for this we must first acquire some knowledge and some tools in order to understand how we perceive the world and how and to what kind of world we can change it.

Because the world itself has no particular quality and no particular form. If we do not interfere in it, then all of us people see the world the same because we all have an egoistic desire and it tunes us to this mutual picture of the world. Therefore we have a common perception, a common language, communication, interaction, and so on.

But if I begin to understand that the world is what I draw in myself, and in this way I see it outside of myself, then I can already work on an individual picture of the world, the arrangement of the world. And here we are already entering a completely different area. That is, we begin to understand why we are in such a deteriorating world, why it is felt by us in this way, and what we can do in order to begin to feel it differently.

To do this we must readjust internally and come to a state where we will feel in our five bodily sense organs one picture of the world, like everyone else around us.

And in the five organs that we will gradually create in ourselves, we will feel another world, the so-called upper world. We will be able to feel the difference between them, how the upper world paints a picture of this world in us, and how we can rise from this world to the upper world. These are the states that we must begin to realize in ourselves; they should gradually become closer and closer to us.

Therefore our most important task is to go through certain stages of spiritual preparation, and then begin to change ourselves, and correspondingly observe how we change the picture of the world around us in accordance with our internal changes, as a consequence of our internal changes.

The fact that this world is given to us in such a state is a certain picture given to us, perceived by us in our primordial egoistic qualities, which are also gradually changing. They change for everyone, more or less, at the same time. Therefore we observe humanity and inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature as gradually changing. But this development is very slow, over thousands of years, and it is purely egoistic.

If we rise above our egoism, we will begin to enter into completely different sensations of the world, and we will already see a different world, a different picture, different interactions in ourselves, as it were, independent of the external picture.

We will no longer see inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature and man, but rather the world of forces—that which actually exists. And our world is also the forces that influence us and create such projections of this world in us that seem alive and existing to us as given in our sensations.

But in fact it is important for us to start interacting with the world of forces; that is what I have to bring people to. They don’t know it yet, but they need to be prepared for it. Preparation takes many years. I think that today it is already possible to talk about this, and we should come close to it literally within the next short while, maybe even in a few weeks.

Therefore I do not want to engage in sheer mechanics or some kind of abstract science where we draw some charts on a piece of paper to depict interactions between physical forces that we do not understand.

And when we are able to reproduce and realize these forces in ourselves, then what we study will be our theoretical part, which is necessary for the implementation of our spiritual actions. That is what I want to bring people to.

Therefore I am in no hurry to break into the very science of Kabbalah. In order to break into it practically, we need to hold certain forces of nature that are not yet in us today; they are not yet manifested. We need to start revealing them and learn how to really work with them.

This is the answer to what we must come to.

The Mystery Of Time

58Comment: American-Canadian professor of psychology Michael Persinger researched parapsychology and paranormal phenomena. He co-authored Space-Time Transients and Unusual Events.  He asserted that paranormal phenomena was connected with natural phenomena, which in turn appeal to the mysteries of time and space, and that regarding time, we think the processes taking place are kind of magical: the past turns into the future, and so on.

You say that all existing states, both the past and the future, are on record, and we cannot change anything.

My Response: Time does not exist at all. There is only one state. The sensation of time flows only in relation to us since we are in the process of comprehending this single, integral, perfect state.

This can be likened to a person who is unconscious and gradually comes to his senses. Suddenly, a hospital room, a bed, a nurse, and some noises begin to appear before him, “Before this world did not exist, but now it has appeared, and I see what God has created.”

It seems to him that everything that he sees did not exist before and has only appeared now. Therefore he calls the process of the emergence of something new relative to himself “the passage of time.”

Question: Can we say that the change in our desires gives us a sense of time?

Answer: Of course. If nothing changed in us—precisely in us because change comes from within and our capacity for sensation changes—then time would not exist.

Build Your Own Future!

743Question: Why does nature hide information about the future from us?

Answer: One should build his own future and not draw it from various sources and wait. You have to make sure that even the present you are living in now, you build yourself.

There is nothing real in our current existence. Reality is not in the fact that this is the present tense, but in the fact that there is no truth in it at all. Rather, everything is determined only in relation to you.

What Can’t Be Repeated In The World?

610.2 Only the possibility to make a copy is the true criterion of originality. Only authentic truth can be the object of imitation or parody (attributed to Jacques Derrida).

Question: Is there anything in the world that cannot be repeated?

Answer: The only thing that cannot be repeated in the world is the creation of something from nothing. This is the prerogative of the Creator. Everything else can be repeated because you will already be making from what was created out of nothing.

Question: Is there an inner point from this in a person?

Answer: Each person has his own point that breaks away from his egoism and gives him the opportunity to create out of himself a likeness to the Creator. To the extent of this similarity, he will be called man – Adam. “Adam” – from the word “Domeh” (similar).

The Mind—A Link To Universal Consciousness

624.04Question: Scientists that researched the human brain tried to find a mechanism that controls a person and utilizes all of the brain’s capabilities. But they didn’t find the answer. Perhaps they weren’t looking in the right place?

Answer: Of course, not. Our brain is a very serious transitional link both between ourselves and between each of us and the external universal world consciousness.

In fact, all souls are interconnected by a very complex network of mutual connection, not only people and not just on the level of our world to the extent of the scope of its information, but at the level of a much deeper and more capacious informational connection.

Therefore, to say that we could find the source of actions, thoughts, feelings, decisions, desires, or anything that happens to us inside a person is completely incorrect. All these invisible, imperceptible connections pass through us, through billions of other souls and bodies, and return back again. This is a huge common whole organism that we do not know and do not feel.

But Kabbalists do feel it. They perfectly attain how this organism works. It is called the radiance of the Shechina, the radiance of the entire universe, of the common desire and common thought where all humanity unites in thoughts and aspirations at the highest level in its corrected state with the Creator.

In the end, everyone will attain this. Then we will know what the scientists were trying to find out. Otherwise, we will never have complete information.

Question: Can we say that by researching the brain, scientists are looking for the root of our origin?

Answer: Yes. But, actually, there is nothing inside the brain. The brain is a very small receiver of information. In fact, the work of each cell of the body is determined by the organism, but in order for the cell to learn what the organism requires of it, there is a small device in it that adapts it to the whole organism. This is what our brain is.
