Question: For an ordinary person is death a state when he ceases to feel the flow of information through his five physical senses?

Answer: Yes, his body dies, his eyes do not see, his ears do not hear, and so on. This is called death for us.

Question: But what is it actually?

Answer: I do not know what you define as life and death, because if you measure it to spirituality, then from the point of view of Kabbalah, even living people are considered not yet existing relative to it, not that they are dead or alive, but not existing.

Let us say a child who has not yet been born, does he exist or not? In some potential form.

There is a force that will pass through his parents, will be expressed in the connection of their reproductive cells, and will eventually give birth to an organism that will develop and be born. But today, when neither he, nor his parents, nor anyone else exists, it exists in the form of forces, potentials, in the space around us.

Question: So, do we all exist in the form of potential now?

Answer: In relation to the spiritual world, yes. Otherwise we do not exist.

I think this information should give people a proper understanding of where they are. Today, they have the opportunity to implement it very easily and quickly. Therefore, it depends on each of us to be born.

To be born in the spiritual world means to begin to feel it through your five spiritual sense organs: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut, which are like the five material sense organs.

Our development in the spiritual world takes place according to the same stages of intrauterine conception in the spiritual mother, birth, feeding, and so on, i.e., according to absolutely the same steps by which a person develops in our world.

What are the laws of the spiritual world?

Answer: The laws of the spiritual world are the laws by which we exist in it.

That is, there is another dimension around us, an additional part of the universe, that is hidden from us. But we are not in contact with it because we do not have its qualities.

A Kabbalist reveals this dimension. He is called a Kabbalist because he is receiving, discovering, and revealing this information, these sensations, since he develops the corresponding feelings in himself.

They develop by “going out of yourself.” It is said: “Love your neighbor as yourself,” that is, you need to go out into such desires that are outside of you, and then you will really feel what is outside of you.

My Response: It is very simple! To do this, you must accept one and simple axiom, that all evil is only within you. If this evil did not exist, you would not feel it and would not see it in any manifestations around you.

The evil that Armen sees is a projection of his evil and he sees it from the outside. Therefore, it seems to him that this is bad and that is bad, and so on. That is, he sees evil everywhere in inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human qualities. How can you make sure that you see only good? Correct yourself.

Question: Let’s say I see evil, hotspots, and so on. How can I eradicate the evil within me?

Answer: Be patient and come to us. I cannot recommend anything else. Then gradually, day by day, you will master the method of eliminating evil and approaching good.

This is, in principle, the main thing that the wisdom of Kabbalah studies.

My Response: There is nothing we can do about it. We must believe that we are in the complete control of the Creator and therefore, we must continue our life as much as possible, and as much as we understand it, in some kind of proximity to Him, that is, in the quality of bestowal, in the quality of connection between everybody, and to wish that the world would unite.

I think that we will still try to come to general correction in a good way, although if not, then, of course, the same kind force that is prepared for us in order to bring us closer to each other will be felt by us very harshly.

Comment: But you are talking to an ordinary, down to earth person who wants to live a simple, normal life.

My Response: It does not matter what he wants. What matters is what he has to do.

Question: Will we not be able to just live a simple life anymore?

Answer: No, we will not be able to. We will simply be tormented by upper forces that must bring us closer to each other and teach us how to interact with each other correctly until the Creator is revealed between us as a force of good, the force of love, the force of connection.

Can you imagine how much more we need to mature before that?

Comment: I can imagine. A person does not want to.

My Response: No one wants to suffer. Yet, we should not want suffering, rather we should want to make the world a better place without being forced to it by suffering.

Comment: Especially women who give birth to children who want their children to feel good in the future.

My Response: Naturally. This is the best force in nature. It is they who should make the entire world and all men to think about peace, about good connection, and about correction, precisely for the sake of their children.

Question: So, will we be having children anyway?

Answer: We have to! This process must continue. We will still come to peace in the world. The problem is in which way. We must try to explain to everyone that there is an opportunity to reach common connection, good connection, not in an evil way, not with the help of our nature, which will force us to correct ourselves, but in a good way where we ourselves understand that the process of correction can also happen with our participation.

There are two ways between us to reach the same goal. We will try to reach it in a good way.

Question: What is required of an ordinary person?

Answer: To try to find good connections with other people. And to tell everyone how crucial it is. Otherwise, nature will force us to do this in an evil way.

When we see the whole world before us in all its beauty, we do not see it as it is in the reality, but only as it is inside ourselves. This means that in the back of our brain, there is some kind of “photo camera” that portrays everything we see, but not what is outside of us (Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to The Book of Zohar”).

Question: How can I connect the hostilities taking place under my window with the perception of reality that everything is inside me. What can you advise a person?

Answer: Nothing. I cannot say anything to an unprepared person. And to the prepared, depending on the degree of one’s preparation, I can remind you that everything that happens outside is a copy of what happens inside of us. If we correct our properties, we will not see war outside because there will be no war inside of us.

Question: There is a parable: one day, soldiers went into a tavern where the Hasidim were sitting, and one of the soldiers raised his sword over the sage. But the sage continued to speak without paying attention to the soldier and the soldier left. That is, the faith of the sage was so strong. Are these all fairy tales? Or can this really be?

Answer: Maybe, of course a person is so connected with the upper force that his attitude toward it literally immediately changes the world. He did not even try to defend himself because he was sure it was just an image. Such a state can be achieved.

Question: Igor asks: “It seems that Armageddon, the war of Gog and Magog, has been going on for a long time, but for some reason we have not seen or felt it. Is that true? Or will everything settle down, pass and be forgotten?”

Answer: Everything will pass, except for one thing, which is the last state we will come to. And it will contain all the previous states that are concentrated, collected, and taken all together. And it will be the basis for the last state.

That is, the last state will consist of two, one called “Kli” and the second called “Ohr“—vessel and light. So the vessel will consist of all the states that each of us and all of us together have gone through in history. This is a terrible amount of suffering, doubts, and misunderstandings, everything altogether.

Question: So everything that we have gone through, all wars and all sufferings come down to this vessel?

Answer: To one state that includes everything. And then this state is corrected by the upper light or the Creator, which is one and the same. And this state becomes equal to the upper light. That is, everything that is realized and comprehended in all the millions, many millions of sufferings that all of humanity has gone through at every moment, all this turns into light. And thus the Creator is attained.

Question: So there was nothing we should regret?

Answer: It never happened!

Question: And all the most terrible suffering?

Answer: It never happened. It’s not something that has been forgotten and now we don’t feel it.

Question: And these are not mistakes that we once made?

Answer: None of this happened at all! It existed only as a preparation for us to feel today’s absolute state.

Question: What do you mean never happened? There were: the Second World War, the Holocaust, the First World War, the Civil War, the blood spilled, it all had happened! Or did it? Or do we then go into a difficult explanation?

Answer: In the impossibility of explanation, perhaps. But I still have to say that this did not happen. We rise to another level of perception of reality, a sense of reality where nothing like that ever happened.

Question: Then what happened?

Answer: There was only preparation for us to feel the only existing state, the state of being filled with absolute universal love. And it in turn is simultaneously felt as absent, negative, and an aspiration to the positive. And the absence of love and hate, everything else, all this is included in love because it is impossible to feel one without the opposite.

Question: So this exalted love is shining on me and I feel it as hatred? I haven’t attained it yet and that’s why I feel it as hatred?

Answer: No. You attain it, but in what you attain, you also comprehend the opposite quality. Otherwise you won’t be able to feel it. We don’t feel one without the other.

Question: So it exists together all the time?

Answer: We are creations, created! The Creator, He feels one state, if I may say so, only love. And we can feel one thing only from its opposite.

Question: The perception of reality implies that the whole world is made of opposites that are constantly at war. If earlier wars were to conquer, recently they carry a character of enforcing peace. Is it possible to establish peace by force?

Answer: Never. No way. Peace can be achieved if you strive for it with great effort. Peace is a union of antagonistic opposites under a common roof, we have to know how to achieve it.

The fact is that in the state of peace all the internal contradictions remain. They cannot be avoided, erased, annulled, or excluded. They can only be in harmony with each other, in mutual complementation. Only then can this state be called peace.

We have to constantly care for it and fortify it because the contradictions will not disappear. That is, peace is a dynamic state, a state of internal dynamic equilibrium of opposites.

Question: Is it possible to achieve eternal peace?

Answer: To the extent you uphold this state, so it will remain.

Question: Does this process have an end?

Answer: In the end, you will constantly reinforce peace, praise and elevate it. What’s wrong with that? It will be a constantly evolving universe of harmony.

Question: The evil eye is a phenomenon known to many firsthand. Someone got jealous, was praised or over-praised. Many do not even take photos of their children because they are afraid of the evil eye.

Answer: The evil eye does exist. Since we are all interconnected, one’s bad thoughts about others does, in fact, bring hindrance into their lives. But at the same time, the person himself suffers too.

The fact that some people have the power to concentrate evil in themselves and purposefully influence others while others do not depends on the root of their soul. I know some women that would look at a child and he would come down with a fever.

They do not mean for it, but it still turns out that way. There are a lot of such examples.

Question: Can one get rid of such a quality?

Answer: Yes and no. He can try to do good, but at the same time this is his quality.

Question: Why are all kinds of witchcraft and sorcery more common among women?

Answer: Women are physically closer to nature, so their sense of connection with nature is more developed.

Question: What would you recommend to people who feel the evil eye, the curse? Is there any way to annul witchcraft?

Our world is an imprint of the upper world, but just an imprint. This word includes a lot of various nuances.

The fact is that in our world there is an imprint, that is, some kind of white background on a black background. There is something similar to the nature of the upper world, but all this is imprinted on the matter of our world.

The material world is purely egoistic, opposite to the highest. And we who exist as if between two worlds (the imprint and the original) are very complex creatures in structure and worldview. We do not know what to do with ourselves. Where to go? We do not know. Who controls us? We do not know. What is  on? We do not know. This is the state we are in.

Comment: Our sensory organs depict the reality we live in for us. We perceive smells and sounds and touch various objects. But, as you say, we do not really know what is outside. That is, our sensory organs, which send signals to the brain, can be affected by anything.

My Response: Of course. It may not be what we imagine. The main thing is what is already depicted in our brain.

Comment: Today, scientists who believe that people are beginning to master a new, virtual world in which they will increasingly immerse themselves, are talking about this out loud. This is what prompted David Chalmers, who wrote the book Reality+, to speculate that if we can create a virtual world that we go into, then did someone else of a higher order create it?

My Response: Naturally, we cannot prove anything here.

We exist in certain sensations that are depicted in our sensory organs, in the brain. To what extent this reality is objective or subjective, we cannot judge either. But the fact that our feelings are subjective is certain. And the fact that this reality can be objective is an open question. In general, nothing is clear to us about our world.

Question: Who is this so-called programmer that is pushing us to think of some higher Creator? What exactly did He come up with? What is His purpose? What should we achieve?

Answer: Our goal in this world is to really understand its programmer and find out why He created us and the surrounding space in such a way. Everything happens relative to us. So we do not know what is really going on. But why He programmed everything in this way and for what purpose, we should know this.

Kabbalah says that our most important and in general our only task is to reveal this programmer, His objective, goals, and methodology, discover and master.

What else do we need? If we could only find out who we are, what we are, where and how we exist, and what we live for, this will give us an answer to the question: What to do next? And so, we do not know. We see that our world is completely lost.

Question: How could someone with the ability to create such a reality come up with horrors in which we have lived and live?

Answer: It all depends on how you look at things. It is quite possible that the task of this great programmer, who created us to feel this supposedly existing universe, this great mind in which, in general, we exist, is to bring us to a state in which we feel lost, abandoned, and in absolute ignorance of where we are, for what and why, and eventually to want to know it.

We will have no other choice but to know the upper force that controls everything. I think we are moving toward this and are approaching quite quickly.

Question: People have always shown interest in anomalous phenomena and magic. Over the past millennia the understanding of magic has not changed much.

The so-called ordinary sorcerer’s kit includes healing diseases, communication with supernatural objects, telekinesis, and the ability to foresee the future.

How does Kabbalah relate to this? After all, a lot is taken from Kabbalistic sources.

Answer: I do not think much is taken from Kabbalistic sources because there is nothing in Kabbalah that is related to supernatural earthly phenomena. They are only attributed to it.

In fact, Kabbalah does not talk about the supernatural, but about the natural, about what actually happens. However, in order to feel, sense, and influence oneself and others, one must possess certain supernatural abilities, feelings, and powers.

But this is not a miracle because anyone can develop such abilities. Just like a small child who watches what an adult is doing, it seems to the child as a miracle. And when the child grows up, he himself becomes an even greater magician than the one he considered as such in childhood. Therefore, there are no miracles here. There is knowledge and mastery.

Question: Is there a root of sorcery and magic in the spiritual world?

Answer: Again, for someone who understands, knows, and possesses these phenomena, this is not magic or mysticism. For him, it is not even paranormal, but absolutely normal phenomena.

Comment: But, for example, there are people who can move objects. And Kabbalists, as far as I understand, do not know how to do this.

My Response: Kabbalists do not set this as their goal. Their task is completely different: to reveal the Creator. And this can be achieved only by reaching the level of the Creator and not by all sorts of tricks.
