Perception of reality is the most important topic because a person wants to know in what reality he exists, in what kind of world he was born.

How are the upper worlds and the lower world built, how do they exist, by what forces are they controlled, what is the reason for such existence, what are its results, and toward what everything is moving—we need to reveal all this. And this is why the correct perception of reality is so important.

For simplicity of understanding, we can say that there are two worlds: the upper world and the lower world or the spiritual world and the corporeal world. In the corporeal world, which we feel with our five senses, we exist according to the flow of time.

Time is our inner feeling, and according to our feeling everything happens at some time. We associate the flow of time with various external factors: the sun, moon, stars, and past events that give us a general sense of the past.

We do not know what the upper (spiritual) world is. But according to the stories of Kabbalists, people who have revealed the upper worlds, other times and forms of existence operate there. We can reveal them, feel and exist in them, and in this way we will attain the eternal and perfect reality in which there is no beginning and no end. There we exist above time, space, and all movement.

The spiritual reality exists outside of time, motion, and space, and the corporeal world is inside time, motion, and space. Since our sensory organs are based on the perception of a corporeal system of coordinates, meaning, time, place, and motion, we therefore feel only this reality.

If we want to feel the true, spiritual reality, we will have to rise to it in our perception by changing our sensory organs. We will no longer feel reality as a physical movement in corporeal time, but we will feel it in a spiritual form, and this is how we will live. The Book of Zohar writes that spiritual time is determined by the change of forms and degrees that are above space and time.

It is very important to imagine what the upper spiritual world is, which exists above time, motion, and space, and how we can feel it, live in it, and connect everything that is there with our corporeal world so that these two worlds will merge into one for us.

When we attain what time based on changing forms and degrees means, we will understand what the corporeal world is and what the spiritual world is and how these two worlds are connected. We will also understand why the Creator created us with a sense of the corporeal world and why from here we must ascend to the upper, the spiritual, world in order to feel ourselves between two worlds— the upper and the lower.

Question: To what extent do you feel this world? Is there still some sort of borderline? If some experts in their field come up to you and claim: “I am very good at it,” and you do not need to plunge into it. Is there any borderline here?

Answer: If specialists in something artificially created by man in any field come to me, then I can learn something from them for the purpose of dissemination. And for my personal spiritual elevation, I do not need any specialist.

But since I deal with teaching, that is, I turn to students, I am happy to meet with specialists. They help me find new examples and develop the language.

I published several books with psychologists. And I can also talk about Kabbalah with historians from a historical perspective, and so on. That is, I am ready to communicate with them.

Let the physicists come. It is more difficult to find a common language with them, but still it is possible somewhere on the so-called “periphery.” In other words, there is no common language inside physics and Kabbalah, but outside there is. For example, if physicists begin to tell me about all sorts of processes that take place in atoms, I will see them in the form of Reshimot, light, and Kli at different levels of entry and exit of the light when the screen expires, suppose from Tabur to Peh. It is interesting for me.

The same is true about chemistry, biology, zoology, and so on. The principle is the same! The exchange between plus and minus is all nature! There is nothing else. This is at different levels. After all, an electron, an atom is the basis of everything.

I have always strived for a complete picture of the world. A partial one never suited me. I could not stand a partial one! What is the point in sitting somewhere in a corner and picking at bugs there?! I could not stand it!

Only the general picture! Only the global one! You see, you understand, and you connect all the elements of the picture into one common whole, harmony, a huge panel, a palette of everything. It is breathtaking when everything opens up in front of you, and you see and feel it! It is fantastic!

Question: If, according to Kabbalah, time, motion, and space do not exist, what actually happens when it seems to a person that he is walking around the city or going somewhere? After all, he is moving.

Let’s say a Kabbalist leaves for London to visit his students. Does it actually change his state? What is happening with respect to them and with respect to him?

Answer: Physical movement means internal, vector movement in qualities. Therefore, coming to London, a person feels differently, perceives everything a little differently, and treats everything differently. This is called “moving to London.” There is no movement, except inside, in your feelings.

Comment: But when you go to another country, you fly by plane.

My Response: So what? Who cares? An airplane is a manifestation of our egoistic desires, which have developed and manifested in this way.

Question: Is there any place that removes or brings a person closer to his essence? Where should he be? For example, someone lives in Chicago, someone else in China.

Answer: Of course, there is a difference in where a person lives. We see that in our world, there is a huge difference.

Question: What is the difference between my being there and here? What is changing? Let’s say I go to the airport, get on a plane, and fly somewhere.

Answer: You land, and immediately you are completely different. A change in the internal state of a person takes place.

There are people who do not feel these movements, because for them it does not matter where they are. And there are people who do not take it well. The Kabbalist moves everything inside himself.

If I go somewhere with a group of students, I hardly feel where I am. Of course there are different languages and everything else, but it practically does not change anything. I sit with my students in Rome, in Madrid, in South America, no matter where, and I do not feel the difference. But in the country where I live, if I give lectures to an outside audience, I feel different.

It is better for me to give classes for our Italian or Spanish groups while there than to give a lecture to strangers in Israel. After all, my students, Italians, Spaniards, and others, are much closer to me. While being among them, it is as if I do not go anywhere. They understand me, but locals, outsiders do not.

Question: But when you fly somewhere, are you completely different?

Answer: No. Each time it feels less and less, that when approaching them, I speak differently. Now this is gradually disappearing because very similar social, economic, and group processes are taking place everywhere, we are all studying the same thing.

Before, I was a little different with them because their groups were young and new, and I talked to them as if they were people who were not yet aware of our methodology.

Now I can speak to them in exactly the same language. After all, they are present at all our lessons and meals. They read my blog translated into their own language, which means they are in continuous communication with us and with me. Therefore, I am the same with them as I am with my students in Israel.

For the first time in the history of humanity we are moving to an inverse perception of the world. We have to change our own perception.

We do not have to change the economic, sociological, political structure, and various superstructures in society. We have to change ourselves. Therefore, the transitional period should be very simple, a period of self-education and self-training.

You cannot change anything further without changing yourself, because you have to be at the foundation of radically new changes. Accordingly, the transitional period is only a period of our own adaptation to the calls of nature.

Question: There is a movie called In Time in which people live to be 25 years old and after that they must earn their years of life and time is the currency. They have millionaires who earned millions of years of living. And there are people who need to buy or steal enough hours to make it through the day.

Do you agree with such a plan of the Creator for a lifetime? Or could you suggest some other option?

Answer: I think that we need to replace time with a different dimension that we measure ourselves against—whether we are old, young, growing, and so on. All of it is relative and depends on how and what line of measurement a person chooses.

Therefore, I would not say that we need to measure time with a chronometer. It is measured by a person’s deeper attitude to himself, to the world, to creation, and not by the clock, when some mechanism beats tick-tock, tick-tock and I measure myself by it.

Question: As a Kabbalist, how would you propose to relate to time?

Answer: With absolute calm. I am only interested in what I manage to do with myself during the time that is running out.

Comment: If we treat time on a psychological level, then indeed, it may not exist. But with respect to our protein bodies, we see that time still exists.

My Response: Our protein bodies measure time by their pulse, the beats of the heart, and by the way we measure the relationship between the states we go through. But these are all purely subjective concepts.

In fact, if you are in a rocket that is launched into space at high speed, then time will be measured differently for you, and you will look different compared to others.

Time is not a biological system that changes you; time is what you change. So I would not treat time in this way. But we are used to it, and live in a world in which time passes according to the ticking of the clock.

Question: There are 31,556,926 seconds in a year. How would you advise spending these seconds in the most efficient way?

Answer: There is no need to think about it. You need to think about how you fill your time. The main thing is to understand what you exist for so that every moment of your life will be filled with the mission you live for.

Suppose the main thing for you is the dissemination of the science of Kabbalah. You should measure your time and your success by this parameter.

Question: Precisely regarding the results, right?

Answer: Of course. In the corporeal world, we do an action, and after a while, we see the result. But in the spiritual world, because all actions are performed in relation to the Creator, the action itself is already a result and a fulfillment. Therefore, time does not exist there, it does not stretch.

Question: Suppose, now I’m making a program with you and the result of it will come after some time, then, is the reception of the filling delayed?

Answer: You are cutting time. But if you would receive fulfillment right now, then time would not exist for you.

Question: That is, a Kabbalist lives outside of time, right?

Answer: In general, yes.

Question: The past is always open and unchangeable. And the future, on the contrary, is closed, unknown, and variable. Do you agree with this statement?

Answer: I believe that both the past and the future, and, in general, time exists only in us.

Psychological, internal changes take place in us, which each time draw us a new perception of the world around us, although it does not change at all. We live in absolute full light, such a force that constantly affects us evenly.

But we are changing, and therefore the feeling of smooth, endless, calm light changes in us.

Question: But the future can somehow be changed?

Answer: There is nothing to change! There is only one even light in which we are created. We change according to our inner feelings, and in accordance with this we feel the picture of the changing world.

Therefore, we can only influence ourselves to change in a more objective way.

Question: It turns out that the future has several options. If I do not change myself, I will feel the future in one way, and if I change, then in a different way?

Answer: Yes. But it is you.

The desire to enjoy determines everything for a man: what he will feel, how far he will feel the space around him, and how to name everything that he feels. Meaning, man’s desire determines his world because he cannot feel that he is beyond the desire, and therefore, it does not seem to exist for him.

Therefore, if the desire in a person is not developed, is at the inanimate degree, then his world is limited by the framework of the inanimate degree. It is like a baby whose world is tiny and does not go beyond the nursery, but it is enough for him, and he is satisfied.

So, we live in a world whose boundaries are determined by the limitations of our qualities, and we are convinced that there is nothing beyond it. Once people thought that the earth was a flat disk and the universe was a rigid sphere with the border of this world covering it like a cap above which there was nothing.

And up until now, our knowledge of the world has been limited by our attainment. Let’s hope that we will soon be able to open its borders, and then we will understand what kind of world we really are in.

Our desire to enjoy is constantly evolving, each time it pushes the limits of the reality we feel to new boundaries. We call these boundaries worlds. And since our desire develops in four degrees: 1-2-3-4, we perceive the world that seems to exist around us at four levels: 1-2-3-4.

Once upon a time, all of humanity existed as one whole, one body, but then we were shattered into many small bodies. And that is why each of us feels and perceives a different reality.

The goal is to get back into one single body, stuck together like pieces of plasticine. And in this form, we begin to feel a new, unified reality that appears real. It is dominated by one upper force that controls this reality and supports it. And there is no great multitude of forces as each fragment feels it. To come to this connection is the goal of our work and development.

We existed as one common body that broke into a great many fragments as a result of the Big Bang. And if we strive to return to this state of unity, then we begin to feel a single, increasingly unified force, as well as to gain understanding, attainment. The whole history of mankind and modern reality with its problems and wars is intended only to bring us to the realization of the need to unite. Nature pushes us to this.

And the more we all get closer to each other and feel more and more clearly our duty to connect, we begin to understand the inner force that controls us, brings us closer, fills us, and eventually leading to the attainment of true reality.

Question: Do you remember your purely egoistic perception of the world when you were not yet in spiritual attainment? And then, when you already began to perceive everything on a different level, did you erase some facet, some illusion that seemed to you before?

Answer: Nothing has been erased. I just perceive everything more clearly, understandably, and with greater agreement and tolerance, not because I am getting older, but because I see the need for all manifestations of what is in a person.

I see that the most terrible, the most disgusting, and everything that no one can justify, comes from the same source, the upper force, and, unfortunately, sometimes manifests itself in such terrible forms.

And, of course, I treat people as material that needs to be corrected, to convey the truth to them, and to help them.
