Question: How do you pray through the center of the group if you don’t feel this center?

Answer: Pray as much as you can for the time being. A person is born lacking any understanding, like an animal, three kilos that come out of the mother and begin to develop. Gradually he grows and becomes wiser as he understands and feels more.

Everything always starts from zero. The main thing is the quality and the exertion. “One may acquire his world in an hour.” This means that a person restricts and focuses his small exertion in the right place, and creates a lever. Although he has little power and cannot lift a heavy load, he can lift it if he increases the handle length of the lever.

This means that a wise approach can shorten the time and help one gain power. In the past, loads were lifted onto ships by a system of chains and a pulley block. Many chains had to be pulled, but they were able to lift tons of cargo.

It is the same in the spiritual work. I cannot directly approach Pharaoh and this whole confusion. But I am given a chance to organize a circle of physical bodies in this world, in a state where I am totally detached from spirituality and don’t belong to it. Then I am able to start thinking about physical connections with my corporeal brain, practically from zero, but not yet from a mental or spiritual perspective.

I am given such an opportunity on every level. If I focus on the center of the group, by mutual guarantee, mutual responsibility, care, and support of others, in the connection between us, together with the teacher and the Kabbalah books, I can focus the relatively small effort I can make on one small point and thus break through.

But if I disperse my efforts, it will lead to nothing; the outcome will be a serpent. This small point determines what the outcome will be, whether a serpent or a rod. This point is the focus on the center of the group, where we want to delight the Creator.

Dissemination is based on being one man in one heart. The center of the group is our one common heart. We have to think about this option, about this form. But if I wander in endless directions, nothing will work. I will perform many actions, which will also eventually accumulate, but very slowly. I don’t gain anything and don’t shorten time.

Question: What does our concentration on one action depend on?

Answer: It depends on mutual work, on focusing, and on mutual support when everyone focuses in the heart and mind in our center and in our mutual connection.

Question: Where am I found in the connection between us into one point of mutual guarantee? I do not find myself there! Where are my characteristics and tastes? Do they disappear within this connection?

Answer: Specifically when you disappear, you are found. You exist only in this form when you melt into the connection. Does a mother have anything of her own other than what she provides for her children?

Does she need something of her own? No, that is why she is called a mother, thinking only about the welfare of her children. Bina has nothing of her own. Her upper half belongs to the Sefirot of Keter and Hochma, and her lower half belongs to ZON, and what is left for herself? She only has the point of the Chazeh where Bina calculates how much to rise further and how much to descend further.

The further a person rises up the ladder of levels, the more he will resemble Bina and extend further over all of reality. His entire upper part reaches to the world of Infinity, and his entire lower part encompasses all the lower levels, down to the lowest part. In that way, he covers the entire creation.

My Comment: The choice of which way the development of humanity will advance to the revelation of the next level depends on the dissemination of the methods of the wisdom of connection, which brings the highest power of unity into our world and qualitatively surpasses all the egoistic forces of our material world. Although to the whole world, we look as an almost non-existent power, we are qualitatively higher than all the other forces acting in this world. Only striving to correction will avert the evil path of development.

Question: What does it mean to ask the friends for help?

Answer: Help can only come in the direction of connection, when everyone yearns to attain a connection in which there is maximal mutual bestowal upon one another for the sake of revealing of the Creator. We try to create more and more connections between us by trying this or that and the Egyptians help us by showing us which connection is right and which is not. They show us our mistakes, the places where we did not connect correctly and did not achieve mutual benefit.

Thus, they help us advance, and it is called that Pharaoh brought the children of Israel to the Creator. Thus we constantly search for what the true attribute of bestowal should be. We cannot discover it, but we appeal by requests, prayers, cries, by clarifying things between us and the Creator until we finally understand it.

But we have to find it by ourselves. There is help, an illumination from Above, according to our exertion. But we cannot receive this revelation for free, since we would not feel anything then. It has to be the result of our efforts, our searching, and our requests. Everything has to start from our inner impulse, from an awakening from below. If we connect with others in a way that matches the first revelation, then it happens and brings us to redemption.

We have to look for the next form of bestowal that is more and more advanced each time in order to find the Creator in a clear, illuminated, and more outstanding way. The Creator’s form is actually us. The form of bestowal that we discover among us is the Light. Now we don’t see or feel it but later the Light will sustain us.

In this Light we discover the thought of creation, the attributes of the upper. Thus we build the infrastructure for His revelation which is called Divinity. The form of bestowal with its mission is called Creator. The Creator is dressed in the created being. The created being is the spiritual Partzuf that is built as a result of the connection between us. Therefore it says that we make the Creator that is called Bo-re (come and see).

Question: So where is the request for help from the friends here?

Answer: The request should be mutual. This is called mutual guarantee. It has to be incorporated in mutual bestowal. Everything is aimed at one direction. Mutual guarantee is the common efforts to attain the Creator’s form and His attributes.

Song of Songs 3: By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but I found him not.

“I will rise now, and go about the city, in the streets and in the broad ways, I will seek him whom my soul loveth.” I sought him, but I found him not.

The watchmen that go about the city found me: “Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?” Scarce had I passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

We search in the darkness and encounter the watchmen and thanks to him, the darkness, and our exertion, we can find!

We have repeatedly been in the state where we cannot do anything by ourselves. We reach a descent, a fall, despair and neglect, a feeling of helplessness and weakness bursts from inside, which we can do nothing about.

It is actually in these states that a person is examined as to what extent he has prepared himself with guards and policemen, if he has a mutual guarantee with others, and whether he has managed to prepare support and safeguarding. Safeguarding is necessary so that he will not escape, and the support helps him gather more internally towards the center of the group.

We need external forces for that, since a person himself is empty. He needs to have both guards and policemen, which are two opposite forces. A person must have both.

If a person learns something from this state, the next time he will worry about the mutual support of the friends, the building of a “safety belt.” Thus he prepares himself to attain the next level, turns the darkness into Light, and advances.

In our world, we say that someone who doesn’t learn from his mistakes is a fool. It is the same when it comes to spiritual advancement. At first a person is allowed to learn and it doesn’t matter if he makes mistakes.

But if he sees that he is thrown down a second time and cannot rise by external support, because he certainly has no powers of his own, then it is considered a transgression and disrespectful of the means given to him.

We need to build a system that constantly reminds us that “there is none else besides Him.” This system must include at least ten people that have special relationship between them.

And so in this network of connection, in this mutual force field, the Upper Light begins to shine, and the upper power is found, which constantly reminds us that each and every moment comes from the foundation, from a higher power.

But if there is no network of connection like this between us, then we cannot remember. Situations will change, but we cannot connect them with the higher power, for this system isn’t working between us.

Only when a binding force field appears between us, like electricity or magnetism, then through our efforts to connect together, we feel that within it is a power that stabilizes this condition.

We go back to this work all the time. The system always reminds us that there is none else besides Him, stabilizing this condition for us, specifically when we are in concealment so that we will demand His revelation, give Him contentment with this and equivalence of form, like the guest and the host.

Question: Is this talking about states in the spiritual world?

Answer: We are in the spiritual world, but in concealment! We need to dispel this concealment from our state, to turn on the Light as if we were found together in a dark room without our knowing it. I enter the room, but I don’t see or feel that there is anyone there because of the darkness. I need to turn on the Light, and then I will see and understand that I am found together with everyone. We don’t fly to the spiritual world. We are already found within it, but it is concealed.

Question: But a person forgets that he is in concealment!

Answer: He doesn’t forget, but it is the Creator who intentionally obliges him to forget, and makes him confused! He not only forgets, but doesn’t want to be involved with spirituality at all because he is completely involved in other business. All this is arranged for him intentionally so precisely in spite of all this, he will come back to awareness.

Question: But if a friend does not remind me, I will never remember this!

Answer: Right, so we need Arvut (mutual guarantee). Without Arvut there is no need to give us the Torah, the method. Only if we are ready to create a system of Arvut in which a sufficient number of friends participate, a complete number of 600,000 souls, who can be mutually connected with each other and understand that the goal is to become like one man with one heart, and if they agree to go towards this, then it is worthwhile to give us the method of connection.

Essentially this is not a method of connection, but a method of discovery. It is a method through which we turn on the Light and dispel the concealment.

Question: How can a person regret the fact that he doesn’t have the power of faith when he is overcome by evil thoughts and desires?

Answer: This is why we need the Light that comes from the environment called mutual guarantee. Mutual guarantee is the power of faith that is revealed in the group.

Although the group itself has not attained the power of faith yet, it is inclined to it. This is enough to impress each friend and to illuminate the force of bestowal on him that is received from the Surrounding Light that is drawn by our collective efforts.

This is called mutual guarantee. Everything comes down to the cooperation between two forces; there is nothing other than these two forces.

We are not fighting against the actual concealment; we only draw the Light of faith upon it. There is nothing more we can do in order to fight it. The concealment will keep on growing like in Egypt where the darkness kept on growing until it became total darkness.

There is no greater darkness than the moment right before the redemption, the exit from the 49 gates of impurity. Therefore we have to relate to the power of concealment correctly and respect Pharaoh, as we understand that all the hardening of the heart and the confusion that we feel were given to us in order to advance.

We don’t want to contradict Pharaoh, the concealment and the confusion, but only to ascend above them. This means that we work with the vessels of Egypt bringing the Light of faith into them.

Question: Is a person’s work to search for the desires of others?

Answer: Certainly, you need to search for desires in order to bestow to others through them. Suppose that you decide to bestow to me and you bring me a ball or a cake. But it’s forbidden for me to eat cake because I am diabetic. I don’t want to play with the ball. So what have you done? You first need to clarify what my desire is: What can make me happy and what will I enjoy, and then behave accordingly.

If you understand that the best thing for me is not a ball and not cake but correction, then you take my desires together with your desires and as a middle Partzuf you begin to raise them higher to the Ali Elyon (above the Elyon) in order to bring me the Light of correction and the Light of fulfillment. This is called saving me from the prison from which I cannot save myself. That is how each one acts towards the other.

To have the right intention, this means to be in the right relationship with others in order to help them to attain a connection with the Creator. This is because it is precisely this that the soul of the person wants the most!

You don’t need to ask the friend about what he loves or what he wants unless we are talking about luxuries and not about food for the soul. Besides the necessities, a person only needs to discover the Creator. And he can get this solely and only if the friends care about him. And the friends will care about him only on condition that he also cares about them. This mutual relationship is called mutual guarantee.

Answer: This is when my friend and I are outside of our desires in a mutual connection that is called the vessel of mutual guarantee. My desire to support a friend and his desire to support me exist, and so we are in the middle between us.

Question: What is more important in mutual guarantee, the physical obligation (to awaken the friends, telephones, etc.) or an intention about the group with thoughts and intentions?

Answer: An intention about the group with thoughts and intentions is not just important but necessary. But people who think that this is enough are sadly mistaken, because theory without practical action is dead.

So if you can also practically strengthen and increase your participation in gathering the group, then it is a full and final action. An action cannot be completed with only an intention. It is possible to check it only when you embody the intention in the action itself.
