Question: Recently a new wave of violent riots has swept over us. Stone throwing, stabbings, and vehicles running over pedestrians have become murder weapons.

The level of tension has risen, fear has returned to the streets, undermining the complex system of relationships that connect us with Israeli Arabs. They live alongside us, among us, and we cannot isolate ourselves from them, and their terrorist attacks have literally broken into our home.

Is it possible to say that recent events are the result of a new situation, a new trend, with which we must contend?

Answer: First of all, I would like to note that everything that I will say is derived from an understanding of the general world system within which is the nation of Israel and its population, from the wisdom that I have researched and acquired, and not from social research and analytic reports.

I won’t enter into these areas, I won’t research this population or another, and I am far from the events in the field. Besides that, I am not a psychologist who precisely understands the Jewish and Arab minds.

In other words, I will not express my opinion on the level of this world. So I feel myself free, and, on the other hand, everything that I will say later on is the truth in my eyes and not my personal truth. This is the nature of things; this is how the Creator, the higher power, the higher supervision and management, is behaving towards us. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, everything is managed by the system of nature that is also called El-okim. In Gematria (numerology), the value of the two words “HaTeva” (nature) and “Elokim” (the divine) are identical.

This system was originally found in a state that was very similar to general chaos. Kabbalah calls it by the name of Shevira (breaking) or the sin of the Tree of Knowledge. Since then, the general system, which is similar to our universe, gradually got along according to laws that became increasingly clear.

They were not at work previously because the material suitable for scrutiny didn’t exist. For example, as long as there wasn’t any vegetation, relationships between the still and the vegetative could not be discovered. As long as animals didn’t exist, the laws of behavior of the animate and the relationships between the animate and the other levels could not be discovered. And especially, as long as the human species didn’t exist, lawfulness could not be discovered in the life and development of the human species, which also determines its unprecedented influence on the natures of the still, vegetative, and animate.

In other words, we see that at the same time that all materials develop, they are organized within the framework of a most precise system. And this system continues towards balance and a permanent state. All of its parts necessarily get their own place and form of expression. According to scientific data and as far as it seems, in the future this system will ultimately become balanced and reach inner harmony.

Besides this, we have discovered various phenomena in human society that have developed in unique ways and rates in contrast to the nature of the still, vegetative, and animate. While humanity has made a quantum leap within some thousands of years and especially in the last century, in contrast to this, nature hasn’t gone through meaningful changes during that time.

We are generally finding newer and newer phenomena that typify a system that is aspiring towards balance and which indicate its imbalance.

In time they will be revealed in increasingly detailed, subtle, and personal forms. We see how much the general system takes the imbalance between parts of the system into account and takes care of them.

In this way, we observe the process through which all of humanity is passing on the background of the still, vegetative, and animate levels that have scarcely changed.

This is a natural process that is called “in its time” in Kabbalah. In other words, it happens in its own time since everything happens according to a natural rate, like a watch that measures the rate of changes similar to the signal generator in a computer. The interesting thing in this picture is the development of various parts of humanity and the relationships between them. Before us is spread the historical process through which various peoples, groups, continents, and so forth have passed. Development intrigues us, even though we cannot always see the reasons for it. Also, the conclusions we draw are in doubt.

And so, first we watched what was happening, and after that everyone had different philosophical and historical opinions. But a unique phenomenon was discovered here—the people of Israel.

The main uniqueness is its presence throughout all of history. In other words, this ongoing phenomenon is not clear. How can this be? After all, this didn’t happen with other peoples. This is strange, especially considering the troubles that were visited upon this people in the forms of exile, hatred towards it, internal conflicts, and so on.

In particular it should be noted that the whole world stands against the people of Israel. Everyone hates them, wants to annihilate them, and everyone acknowledges that they are not prepared to do this. They declare openly:

1. We want to annihilate Israel.
2. We are not prepared to annihilate Israel.
3. We depend upon the people of Israel.
4. Specifically, the people of Israel bring us troubles and problems and we are not prepared to do anything to them. We are weak in contrast to this nation.

It is possible to cite many claims and other oddities here. And the strangest phenomenon is the birth of the nation, which was essentially an absolutely artificial birth.

The rest of the nations arose naturally from tribes that populated various areas on the face of the globe on the basis of a common territory, common culture, common education, common and language, and later, on the basis of a common history. Smaller and larger nations appeared, and after that they combined into various religions and faiths, with everything continuing as usual.

On the other hand, the people of Israel appeared in a strange way from a unique organization, from an unprecedented social phenomenon. One person called Abraham threw a unique idea at humanity, which was a thought, an ideal, a vision that was connected to the role and function of the entire human species. He gathered special people from all of humanity for whom the essence of life, the goal of life, and an identity with the higher power and its discovery were important. This means that the idea upon which the nation was founded was very high, unnatural and “out of this world” as it is called. This isn’t saying that we must live in some isolated place, maintain our borders, and defend ourselves from our neighbors, etc.

These were not connections between people based upon material corporeal beastly factors, nor on normal corporeal needs. The people of Israel were founded around absolutely different principles, on another philosophical, conceptual higher level relative to the rest of the nations.

They didn’t even have a dwelling place. Rather Abraham simply said to them that connection around the spiritual idea demanded them to live as one person with one heart, all of Israel are friends, and also to live in fraternity and discover within them the characteristic of bestowal and love. So according to these principles, their place on the face of the globe was in the land of Canaan. So they headed there!

The residence of the nation was determined by its goal and according to its adaptation to the characteristics of the land. The artificial people populated an artificial place. So the connection between the people of Israel and its place is very unique. As long as the people maintain the concept of unity, it lives here [Israel], and the moment that it doesn’t stand on the spiritual conditions of one person with one heart and love of others, it enters into a dissonance to its residence and the place regurgitates it.

Never throughout history have we seen a precedent like this, that a particular territory, meaning something inanimate, reacts like this to those who are dwelling within it.

There are a multitude of other strange phenomena connected to this people. Without being aware of and feeling their character and their place, they will not succeed in understanding what is happening to them. And the role of history is to give a time and a place to the people of Israel to carry out its unique historical mission.

In this stage it is up to us to understand what Abraham taught his students. He explained to them a plan exists according to which the people of Israel must reach a particular level of correction, to be like one person with one heart through gathering. In continuation, they will need to pass through a Shevirah (breaking). In other words, instead of a good connection between them, they must discover the opposite state of separation and the internal and mental fragmentation.

According to this they passed through various situations with their neighbors, with the higher power that arranges everything. After that, during a period of exile and mutual distance, the people of Israel scattered among all the nations and did special preparatory work between them. After that they again gathered and again rose up to the level of connection, and with the same tendency, they attracted all of humanity towards connection. This is how history ends, meaning with the general correction of the human species. This is the goal of creation, the goal of existence of the human species in the state of this world.

For this to happen, a period of six thousand years has been allotted, beginning from the moment that a person with the name Adam discovered the program to the last person who will do the last correction and finish the historical process. And then this world will disappear, for it exists in our perception only because it is broken and without the right connections. And the moment that all of the broken parts become connected and the last among them becomes connected to them, the system will become united and circular. Then all of humanity will feel that it exists within a perfected and circular reality, in a state called the world to come. What will fill the people is called the Creator, the higher power, for they will attain it with the help of the connection between them, mutual bestowal and love along the entire path.

And so the historical role of the people of Israel is clear. They must go through various situations and according to this, they must function correctly to guide the whole world to the goal specified from the start. Without this nation it would be impossible to reach the goal. So it must be at the head of the process. It is not by chance that the letters of the word “Israel – ישראל” make up the phrase, “Li Rosh – לי ראש – I have a head.”

There were periods in which it was forbidden for the people of Israel to know its mission, so that they wouldn’t be disturbed from assimilating among the nations of the world in the period of exile. In other words, they were in a state of detachment from connection.

But today, If we want to explore the Jewish people at every moment throughout history, it is up to us to take into account the general program of human society and compare it to reality, to what extent the people of Israel maintain the program or, on the contrary, oppose the program. The range of its historical participation moves between -100% and +100%.

It depends on the people of Israel, it depends on how much they attract themselves towards fulfilling their role and attracting everyone else towards it. And if it doesn’t work correctly and in time, then this delay is expressed in the negative forces of nature that don’t get engaged in connection in the general system of connection, that are not counterbalanced by positive forces.

For the people of Israel, their role is to balance the opposites at all times. If they don’t balance them at every moment throughout history, then both the plus and minus work on them negatively. The minus pushes them from behind and the plus pulls them forward. And when the people don’t agree with either of them, don’t want to take the initiative, and don’t want lead the whole world after it, then as a result of this there will be the many great problems and disasters that continue to this very day.

But a unique time has arrived. After a long exile of two thousand years, we can and must reveal to all the people of Israel and to the whole world what is on the agenda. It is up to us to tell everyone:

“Friends, we are on the threshold of a critical period because the reins have been placed in our hands, which are the two forces of nature, the plus and the minus. They were prepared for us and with their help it is up to us to reach an integral connection between us, to bring society into harmony and rise to the level of bestowal and love ourselves. It is in our hands. The two forces will help us in such a way that even the negative force will become a ‘helpmate against’ (Genesis 2:18). The task is great. So come, let’s begin to implement it.”

In this manner, it is up to us to approach the entire world, ourselves, and also the higher power with the help of all means at our disposal. We have been given freedom of choice; we have been given a program and a process including a script that describes the happy ending in the completion of correction. So we must see the present situation, not from this trend, but from the higher aim of the program and to understand what it demands from us.

By watching in this manner and not from the point of view of the communications media or the point of view of the psychology of our neighbors, I am looking at what is happening today in Israel. What is the reason to go deeply into the Israeli and Arab mentality if this whole picture is absolutely superficial? Analysis like this doesn’t make it possible to extinguish the fire. We must understand the natural trends at work in these processes and it is then that we will truly know how to solve the problem.

In the News (from The Telegraph): “One of Japan’s largest newspapers has had to issue an apology after running a full-page advert for a book that claimed that the earthquake and tsunami which devastated north-east Japan in March 2011 was a Jewish conspiracy.

“The conservative Sankei Shimbun, which has a combined circulation of close to 3 million for its morning and evening editions, ran an advertisement in its Nagoya edition on November 26 for books by Richard Koshimizu, an author who has previously written books claiming that Jews were also behind the September 11, 2011 terror attacks in the United States.

“The advert quickly attracted the attention of The Simon Wiesenthal Centre, with Abraham Cooper, rabbi and associate dean of the organisation, denouncing the publication.

“’I am writing to you directly to protest the decision by your newspaper to publish a full-page ad selling three anti-Semitic books by a known bigot and Jew-hater,” the complaint read.

“’In addition to denying the WWII Nazi Holocaust, in which 6 million European Jews, including Anne Frank and 1.5 million Jewish children perished, the author alleges Jewish control of mass media and manipulates events and economies to further their nefarious goals,’ the complaint stated.

“’Everything from the horrors of 9/11 to tragedies of the tsunami in Japan, and even to the threats from North Korea, are, in one way or another, linked to Jews or the state of Israel.’”

My Comment: I do not doubt the sincerity of these accusations. They come from a sense of direct dependence of the writer’s fate on the Jewish people. Feeling this eternal relationship, the writer rightly blames the Jews for all earthly misery. Thus he admits his complete dependence on them. I would advise him to point out to the Jews that their mission is to change so as to cause only positive events in the world!

We don’t lose anything, we have no need for competition and we don’t need to devour each other. Everywhere there is absolute abundance, peace, and tranquility throughout the world.

This is what Abraham discovered and taught his students with whom he disengaged from Babylon and went to the land of Israel.

We are the owners of this wisdom. And the nations of the world feel this, especially at this time of the global crisis. It is expanding and we don’t see an end to it. There will be further pauses, but the trend is moving us towards an abyss. Under such conditions, the nations of the world understand that we have a solution. This is because they are like the ancient Babylonians from whom we once branched out in a different way.

At that time, Abraham said to everyone, “Much later you will still have to face the facts and understand that this method of counteracting evil, the ego, with good, the power of altruistic love, is compulsory. You don’t want to realize this now? So you will realize it in another few thousand years.” There is no choice, and this period has been like a moment in our reality.

And now thousands of years have passed. Today we are already close to the end of the process. Ultimately all of humanity must be aware of this, that the same wisdom of Kabbalah that was given to the Jews and which they have themselves forgotten, is imperative for this. It is necessary to counteract the ego that is killing humanity and devouring itself, like a cancer that devours the body.

The Jews have been persecuted throughout history. However, the charges against them are always different: the death of Jesus, the economy, politics, and world dominance. It seems illogical, since the reasons change all the time while the hatred remains.

The world is evolving and internalizing new values, such as tolerance and human rights. In the West, the religious hostility from the past no longer exists, but the hatred towards the Jews has not lost its fervor.

In the background facts are distorted, sometimes completely unrealistically. They blame us for things that have no relationship with reality and even such things that cause real damage to us. Our footprints are found in a wide range of disasters and there are an endless number of fabrications.

Disproportionate reactions to the Jewish question have become a tradition. Thirty-five percent of the decisions of the UN Human Rights Council condemn Israel, 60% of the emergency meetings of the UN General Assembly are convened against Israel and 70% of the current decisions are devoted to Israel.

In the past year, a UN translator forgot to turn off her microphone and expressed herself regarding the strange obsession of the world community in connection to Israel while other nations are encountering innumerable problems.

In brief, Israel focuses the attention of the world upon itself as a negative factor that invites general revulsion and hatred.

It is even more surprising considering the background of the investment of Jews in many different areas of world development.

As we have previously indicated, the nations of the world feel a fundamental and internal opposition towards the Jewish people in whose possession are two forces—bestowal and reception—while they themselves only hold onto the egoistic force of reception.

So our acts of kindness and charity don’t interest anyone. Unconsciously we are waiting for the world to recognize our service, “Look at how much benefit we have brought.” However, this benefit is not taken into account and is irrelevant, and nobody is even asking us for these favors. Instead and on the contrary, people feel that we are the bearers of evil. They really feel this.

It would seem that everything is clear: Our Nobel Prizes and the rest of the awards present as irrefutable proof, whereas our harm is dished out in the form of baseless libel and slander. And even so, everyone believes in the negativity and doesn’t take the positive into account.

The time has come for us to understand this approach of the nations and understand that they demand something else from us. They demand that we make their lives better.

Question: If we want to lower prices, then why don’t consumers simply boycott the expensive food products? Why go through such a long and circuitous route through the unification of society? Thousands of years will pass until we merit that the capitalists will be ashamed because of the influence of the general atmosphere and agreement of society to establish greater equality.

Answer: I am going out according to the wisdom of Kabbalah, which explains that the world must advance towards unity and connection. And to push the world towards unification,  prices of food products essential for life are rising in Israel.

So we are forced to act because of the expensive price of yogurt for children, but essentially, this yogurt is only a pretext to push us towards unity and connection between us. That is how the general law of all of creation works.

There is an old joke about how a Jew immigrated to Israel from the Soviet Union and took a portrait of Lenin in a heavy gold frame through customs. The customs officer says to him that it is forbidden to take gold out of the country. But the Jew answered, “Well, I am taking the portrait of Lenin with me!” And they let him go through. When he reached Israel, then they asked him, “What did you bring the portrait of Lenin for?” So he answered, “I brought gold.” This is to say, everything depends on the angle from which we are looking at things.

Question: Three years ago there was a campaign of social protest to reduce prices and a broad social consensus was reached. Why was this not effective?

Answer: This social consensus was not based upon connection. Connection and unity are the main things that nature is demanding of us. It is only the lack of unity that causes all our problems, including the cost of living, the intifada, illness, divorce, conflicts with children, and problems in education.

Today, it has become clear that the reason for all human problems is the lack of unity and connection in society, meaning a good connection and unity, not on a fascist basis but on a communistic basis.

Do you want to lower the cost of living? I have a plan for this: unity. If we unite, then the prices will lower.

Question: I don’t believe it! We already tried to do this three years ago, so why didn’t this work out?

Answer: There was no real unity then. Unity doesn’t mean gathering a crowd of thousands of people, going out to the public square and shouting. Unity like this is created for destruction, not for the sake of unity and love. It also creates a negative force instead of a positive one. We wanted to break the capitalists, to make a revolution, to cause a fire in the nation, but this is not the proper method.

Nature, according to its tendency, is drawn towards connection. We see that the world has become global, united in commerce and international relations. And the moment this connection is torn, conflicts and wars immediately appear. In other words, nature places us before the need to unite, and in particular, before the proper unity and connection.

Modern technology and techniques all work for the sake of connection and it is only human society that acts in the opposite way and yearns for greater and greater separation. Each one is concerned only about himself and everyone else doesn’t interest him. Everything should burn, since the main thing for him is that things will be good for himself.

Human intelligence has not developed in parallel with nature. Nature that surrounds us, the world of the still, vegetative, and animate, is more developed regarding general integrality and connection than the human society that lives within this sphere.

People are not in harmony with nature, so separation, conflict, and anger dwell among us. This is how human society exists, and in such a form, nothing is waiting for us other than total destruction. The only thing that can save both the Jewish people and all of humanity in general is the right connection and mutual cooperation. Only with this can we correct the situation.

There was a time when this didn’t succeed for us, but this is because we didn’t yearn for unity and connection. We went out together against someone, but not for the sake of the unity that we must reach according to the program of nature.

Human society seems like a cancerous tumor on the body of the rest of nature. It is completely mangled, like a rotting, disintegrating body. And that is what we must bring to unity so that everything will work out wonderfully.

The problem is specifically in this, whereas the inflated price of yogurt is only the result. If we want this result to disappear and the price of yogurt to be a few pennies instead of a few dollars, this is absolutely possible, and we only need to reach unity for this to happen. Nature demands only this one thing from us.

Now, along with this yogurt, health, separation in the family, children’s education, and housing are problems in Israel and are worse here than in any other place in the world. This is because this is the central place where balance must be restored first.

And the whole world, which is suffering from imbalance, blames us for not having stabilized the balance. They cannot express this clearly, so they just blame the Jews for all of their troubles.

So unity and connection within society are the only methods for resolving all of our problems. And this doesn’t just affect the price of yogurt but everything in general, including typhoons, tsunamis, the intifada, and social and natural disasters. Everything depends only on balance, and in particular, balance in Israel.

For each person, it is possible to reach the good life all over the world only through connection and unity of the people of Israel. We are instructed to carry out the major operation, which determines the fate of the world. We began with the price of yogurt and we will finish with bringing the whole world into balance.

The Book of Zohar, Devarim (Deuteronomy), 32: The sons of Ishmael will possess the Holy Land, where she will be empty for many years. They will obstruct the children of Israel, returning to their land.

Question: The first sign of the Messiah’s arrival is the return of the Jews’ to their country. Does it happen at this time?

Answer: I think that currently we are experiencing a reverse process. The process of segregation of the people of Israel from the land of Israel is ongoing. The number of people leaving this land is greater than those who return. Moreover, the people who come to this country do so involuntarily, whereas those who leave, do so out of their freewill. I look at this process very soberly.

Babylonian Talmud: Tractate Sanhedrin, Folio 98-a: R. Abba also said: There can be no more manifest (sign of) redemption than the one written in the Prophet Yehezkel’s (Ezekiel) Book (36:8): O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel, for they are at hand to come.

This excerpt is about the fact that people are being attracted by the notion of Eretz Israel (the Land of Israel). “Eretz” is derived from the word “Ratzon” (desire); “Israel” stems from “Yashar-Kel” (directly to the Creator).

It means that the aspiration to the Creator, the force that defines each moment of our life and constantly animates and directs us, prevails in all of our desires. Thus, it becomes very clear that the Creator is the general and governing force of nature. In every moment of our life, it shapes us, our surroundings, and the world in which we live.

This force establishes relationships that help us understand our purpose: Where do we come from, what is the essence of our existence, and for what reason are we here? We start realizing that the chain of circumstances, conditions, timing, and everything that ever happens to us and/or that takes place in the world we live in has the upper thought behind it.

This is what is meant by the return to Eretz Israel (the Land of Israel), meaning to the desire that is oriented towards the Creator, to the revelation of the upper force. In this case, the governing force shows up in us as the Messiah (Mashiach) from the word “Moshech” (pulling out). This is the power that pulls us from the inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels to a state called Man (Adam), the sensation of the Messiah.

Question: What does it mean “and yield your fruit to my people of Israel”?

Answer: Under the fruit means the desire (Ratzon) that rise from the Land (Eretz).These desires lead the nation to authentic, eternal, perfect fruit, meaning attaining the Creator.

Question: The Torah says that Jacob followed his mother’s advice and pretended he was his brother Esau. By that, he deceitfully received Isaac’s blessing. What is this story about?

Answer: Isaac represents the left line. Esau and Jacob stand for two lines that derive from him. Neither one of them can exist without the other.

Jacob was the one who was meant to receive the blessing, since he was chosen to define and execute the entire process of correction. He is the one who provided everything to achieve the corrected state at the end of the process.

However, Isaac gave birth to Esau because it is absolutely impossible to advance without his line. In essence, Esau’s line is the line of desire, emptiness, a need and a demand to be fulfilled. In other words, Esau signifies a sensation of emptiness, suffering, and pursuit.

That’s why Esau went to the fields (field of life), which stands for the foundation of human existence in the capacity of a relatively free subject. Without this basis, human life has no meaning whatsoever. Without the quality named Esau, one cannot transition to a state called Adam (Man), and so remains at the animate level. This explains why Esau was Isaac’s firstborn to whom he was supposed to transfer everything he had.

Conversely, for Isaac’s wife Rivkah, it was not so because the program of creation was originally inherent in Jacob, not in Esau. In essence, Jacob is not Isaac’s descendant, rather he is Abraham’s. He is Isaac’s son, but not his firstborn.

This arrangement vividly demonstrates that the program of creation is an auxiliary factor, whereas the matter of creation is the basic thing. The same applies to nature. Even though Israel (“a head for me” – לי ראש) is the head of humanity, still humanity is the basic material of the desire that has to lead to unity, to adhesion with the Creator.

Question: Does it mean that Esau (an empty desire that requires fulfillment) represents the contemporary world?

Answer: The darkest and strongest forces have to be converted into the lighter ones. The Jewish people are obligated to bring the masses to merging with the Creator. The Creator is waiting for Esau, whereas Jacob is assigned to fulfill his role.

It’s a battle for leadership, for which of them is more important. It’s about splitting the functions and identifying what type of connection with the Creator each of them bears. The combat continues until the very last state, at which time the competition between them turns into connecting and replenishing one another. Egoism cannot achieve this result on its own.

In fact, Jacob didn’t really understand why he was involved in this hassle. He was a mama’s boy; he didn’t have immense desires, nor bottomless needs as did Esau. On the other hand, Esau is huge, strong, and mighty, but at the same time he is unhappy and empty. We have to understand his unenviable role. If we look at miserable, unhappy, suffering humanity that earns billions of dollars without any clue of what to do with it, it’s quite hard to envy them. Esau stands for the general masses that have to be brought to order.

Esau demands an answer from Jacob. The foremost anti-Semites, such as Henry Ford, understood this fact and wrote about it. Nevertheless, the Jews still want to escape to America and assimilate there. They do whatever is possible not to be identified as Jews.

Question: Jacob also made slight efforts to resist his mission, but his mother forced him to pursue it. In fact, who is “the mother”? Who pushes the Jewish people to act as Jacob?

Answer: Mother is a property of Bina. It’s a quality of bestowal and love that clearly realizes that otherwise it will never be implemented on the scale of all humanity.

This particular mother has two children, both of whom were born from love called Bina. They are only divided for the purpose of showing humanity the way to unite the properties of Esau and the qualities of Jacob, and demonstrate to humanity how to correctly direct these qualities. The property called Jacob has to cover Esau’s qualities with intention. If it happens, everything will work out well.

In general, neither of the brothers can be blamed for anything. Only by acquiring genuine freedom of will can we implement it into life. I would say that currently we are going through this state. Although it’s not current per se, rather, it started in the Ari’s time, in the 16^th century.

Nevertheless, we are quite tardy. Look at what’s going on in the world! We have to fulfill Jacob’s mission as soon as possible. Otherwise, Esau will press on us even stronger. The most essential thing is to realize that it is us who trigger the pressure by doing nothing.

The People Of Israel Must Carry Out Their Mission

Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” Section 69: But if, God forbid, it is to the contrary, and a person from Israel degrades the virtue of the internality of the Torah and its secrets, which deals with the conduct of our souls and their degrees, and the perception and the tastes of the Mitzvot with regard to the advantage of the externality of the Torah, which deals only with the practical part …by that one dishonors and degrades the internality of the world, which are the children of Israel, and enhances the externality of the world—meaning the nations of the world—over them. They will humiliate and disgrace the children of Israel, and regard Israel as superfluous, as though the world has no need for them, God forbid.

Furthermore, by that, they make even the externality in the nations of the world overpower their own internality, for the worst among the nations of the world, the harmful and the destructors of the world, rise above their internality, which are the righteous of the nations of the world. And then they make all the ruin and the heinous slaughter our generation had witnessed.

Only unity will allow the people of Israel to achieve success in any field. By doing so, it fulfills the program of creation. The point here is not about politics, not economics; unity is inherent in the plan of the universe, which is presented before us. It is time to understand it and all together to begin to realize it.

If we deal with that, the nations of the world will join us to help in every way. According to the metaphor of the Tanakh, that they will “carry the children of Israel on their shoulders to Jerusalem.”

Question: Who prevents the people of Israel?

Answer: It itself. For example, currently the Knesset is discussing a bill on the Jewish character of the state. Thus, the politicians want to clarify basic questions: whether we live on our land as the people of Israel?

However, what are they based on? On the legacy of Jabotinsky and Ben-Gurion? Such arguments do not represent a sufficient basis; hence, there is discussion.

This topic has become urgent, and we have to explain to people what really “the people of Israel,” “the land of Israel,” “the State of Israel” are.

We returned here to carry out our task and were given time—the current period—to be used for the formation of the people in its true, correct form, according to the laws of nature, and not the way we want. The power of the Turkish sultan, the British mandate, the recommendations of university professors, etc., all these are equally inconsistent with nature.

We already have lived under a foreign law, so why take the next versions, let them be our own, but nonetheless forced and artificial.

I repeat, it is a program of nature. True, we are not like all others, but for one reason: We are entrusted with the duty to take a definite shape and become a transitional link to the world. The growing anti-Semitism today is a sign that reveals to us that the world is aware.

And we need to highlight key points. Indeed, we have a problem. Indeed, we must take on the law, defining the role, the essence of the people of Israel and the land bearing the name of “Eretz Israel.”

Unlike others, we are considered a people only under certain conditions. And if we carry them out, then ethnic conflicts will disappear. It will be discovered that everyone has a place and everyone is responsible for correction. Please join under the umbrella of unity, and together we will do everything that is required.

The new bill is intended to divide the Jews and other peoples who live here. We, on the contrary, call not for division, but unity.

We are talking about a very difficult key issue. Prompting it through the politicians, the Creator sends us a clear sign so that namely we will solve these problems. None of them will be able to find a solution. No matter how much they may vote, no matter what laws they may pass, the fruits of their work do not stand the test of reality. The result will be only a general “catcall.”

On the other hand, if we start doing what should do, according to the program of creation and development of the world, we will get a great response from all the nations. They will immediately understand and feel:”The Jews have suddenly become engaged in their business.”

As Baal HaSulam writes, the corrections of the Jewish people is carried out in stages in a very long and difficult path, but the nations, on the contrary, will get them at once. Therefore, our correct actions will be immediately rewarded with respect and a positive reaction. Moreover, this entire process will be unfolded right before our eyes.

Well, today, the debate on the Jewish character of the state, in fact, is pulled out of thin air. Of course, the world will not agree with this approach. If you purposefully go against everyone, it does not always help. We will not win in this way. Similarly, today Russia confronts Europe and America from hopeless positions. Our world is egoistic: He who has more money wins.

This is predetermined, and even if you are right, nothing can be done. In this case, we are even wrong, and therefore will not succeed. We still will have to “eat” what they are “cooking” because we do not agree with the program of creation.

According to this program, we have to come to unity in our environment and with the Creator. Who agrees to connect to us and to Him—please. Everyone has a place. That’s what the “Jewish character of the country is,” that’s what the people of Israel are.

Baal HaSulam writes in the “The Writings Of The Last Generation” how this unity is created.

“Since this altruistic law will be international, thanks to money and spiritual influence, it will be possible to win the hearts of Arab sheikhs who will take this outlook together with us as a single unit and will draw the souls from the midst of Arab workers and owners.

“Hence it shall grow benefit for Zionism, for since they pass a law, mandating to love and bestow to the entire humanity in equal measure, because they will not hanker to raid the land of Israel, because they will understand that this land is intended for the Creator. The standard of living of the Arabs will be the same as the level of the Jews, and it will be a great help to establish friendship between them. ”

Only unity and equality will ensure victory. And thus we will kill all the forces of impurity.

We only need to understand that we do not act against sheikhs, governments, the UN, or anyone else. Instead, we must establish a balance between internal forces inherent in humanity. We have to think about them, and then we will succeed.

Marks the fourth: a generation before the coming of the Messiah will decrease the number of Torah Sages, and all the people will languish in mourning and weeping. (“At the end of days. The Jewish predictions about the future of humanity.” Chapter One “The Signs Indicating the Imminent Deliverance”)

Beginning with the twentieth century and beyond, for several generations, sages, the people attaining the Creator, gradually started to disappear.

A sage isn’t someone who knows a lot but the one who sees the true state of the universe, is in contact with the Creator, understands and feels how the universe exists.

Today, such people almost ceased to exist among us. Even if there are some of them left, they don’t want to reveal themselves. They have a different mission, to nourish our world with the Upper Light, to be a conduit between spiritual world and our world, where a little bit of Light is required for the material world existence in a state of a “standby,” ready to be used as electronic equipment, which isn’t cut off but placed in a standby mode.

Question: So is it a state of tension right before the jump?

Answer: No, this state is almost dead, deeply asleep. If during the 16-17^th centuries there was an upsurge of Hasidism, in the 18^th century came relative peace. In the XIX century there were various revisionist trends, and in the XX century mankind started its fullest descent. So now, at the beginning of the XXI century, the world is plunging into darkness. The Kabbalists’ task is to bring the world out of this state to the next level.
