Question: Israelis are used to living in a state of war and terror, with an intifada that has been going on for years. Our situation today is especially alarming and there is a feeling that we have lost any hope of solving the current crisis. Even if we manage to reach a ceasefire it will only be a brief respite.

There is a feeling that we are living in a movie that repeats itself time and time again: another military operation, and everything repeats in a tougher version. There is no sign of hope. How do you see the situation in Israel, its causes and solution?

Answer: The Israelis themselves are the reason for this situation. Arabs were living peacefully on this land and we came here and started this conflict. That is the reason: the Jews who came to the land of Israel.

The Arabs don’t think that this is the land of Israel and claim that it belongs to them. They say: “You can’t take into account what happened here two thousand years ago. What proof do you have that this land belonged to you two thousand years ago? We have been living here form many generations and suddenly you come and demand it back. If you have been treated badly somewhere else it is no reason to cast us out of here!”

These arguments make sense. If we claim that we are the Israeli nation, who declared the foundation of the state of Israel in this land, we need to bring arguments that everyone will agree with. The fact that our forefathers lived in this land two thousand years ago is not the reason. The state of Israel will be recognized only if we have come here to do good to everyone, to the whole world, and this is what all of humanity needs.

They will agree with us only if we can prove to our Arab neighbors who lived here, to the Jews themselves, and to all the nations of the world that we have settled in this land in order to fulfill our special role that the whole world needs. Even if people don’t understand this yet, we have to explain this to them.

If everyone realizes that our existence in this area is justified, the world will support us. Even if someone doesn’t want us here, our return to this place for a sublime cause will be justified and it isn’t that we simply came here to throw out those who lived here before us.

Interestingly, in 1948, when there was the declaration of the state of Israel, it received the support of most of the nations. They thought that they were doing a good thing and hoped that the nation of Israel in the land of Israel would be a special phenomenon. Until recently many people still supported us, but they don’t do so anymore.

After 66 years of existence of the independent state of Israel, the whole world has ceased to support the state of Israel and believes this state hasn’t justified its existence and hasn’t fulfilled the hope that everyone had in it. Once again the nations of the world claim that the Israeli nation causes great harm to the whole world. In other words, they want to say that they expect us to do good things for the whole world.

Thus they declare that they depend on Israel and consider it the most important factor in all of human history and especially in our times when we are in a global crisis and no one knows where to go from here.

Consequently a new wave of anti-Semitism, of hatred for the state of Israel and for the Jewish people, is rising again. The world is declaring that Israel in its current form is undesirable because it causes great harm.

We should understand what harm we are causing in the world because we want to be like all the other nations and to treat everyone well. We bring the world knowledge and inventions and we are ready to give more than any other nation.

Israel is one of the most humanitarian countries in the world, which provides assistance to its enemies and takes care of them in its hospitals. But the nations of the world don’t accept that and don’t consider any humanitarian aid that we give as a positive thing. Apparently they expect something totally different from us.

It is like a small child who tries to behave nicely but doesn’t want to study or to go to school. No matter how nicely he behaves at home, his parents are not happy with him since there is something else that he has to achieve and he doesn’t want to.

Once upon a time a country was ruled by a king ruled whose word was law and binding on all without exception. And so it went until the 20^th century as mankind progressed blindly following a leader who stood above all and gave orders: left, right, forward, backward. A person did not have freewill; one was just driven forward by blows.

However, the time has come when we were asked to come to an agreement with the program of nature. We must understand it and, according to our free choice, go with it. In this new model of society, each person his own king.

Question: Everyone has their own egoism, and everyone pulls everybody else to their side. It is clear that it is impossible to come to a good result if everyone feels like a king. How can some stability be achieved in this super unstable structure where each is pursuing only their narrow interest, ignoring the others? When we cannot agree with the neighbors, it is not so bad. When this disorder covers the whole country and the entire world, what awaits us next?

Answer: Then we are awaiting disaster unless we provide new education to everybody teaching them about the integrated system so that people understand the world they are in today. After all, they do not know.

Politicians participate in elections while getting ready to run society, but they do not understand modern society or the modern world in which it exists. Not a single person understands this no matter which party one belongs to, from one end to the other. None of them know what kind of world we live in.

Question: How is it possible to run a society in which everyone feels like a king?

Answer: It is very possible if each person will feel responsible for everybody while feeling all high and mighty, like the father of  children. A king is not a villain who sits around all day long and enjoys everything at the expense of the citizens. It is hard work to be a king.

Sometime ago I read about the daily routine of the Queen of England; she does not have a free moment: appointments, meetings, visits to kindergartens, travel to other provinces. She does not belong to herself, but performs her duties. And it has always been this way; we should not think that kings were just entertained at balls , as depicted in novels.

Question: If the people of Israel should serve as an example for the whole world, does it mean that its leader has a very important mission?

Answer: Absolutely. The man standing at the head of the Israeli society must understand the program of creation, program of nature, and lead the people of Israel to the precise match of their place in this program.

This is how it was from the time of construction of the First Temple to the destruction of the Second Temple. At that time the people of Israel had leaders that attained the program of creation, the force acting inside the nature. They felt this higher force, understood it, and worked with it.

When such a person looks at the world, one must see the forces in it that operate the world. One needs to see the overall program under which these forces act in the future for a lot of years to come, until the end of the correction. It is the duty of the leader, and this is why the people of Israel were led by Kabbalists, people with spiritual attainment.

Question: Are there some special qualities that one must possess in order to be such leader?

Answer: Of course. A very simple quality is necessary: to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” That’s all.

Question: What does it mean to love thy neighbor?

Answer: It means that the leader must love others at least as much as oneself. One is obliged to have the property of absolute bestowal.

Question: Does the world need to know that the wisdom of Kabbalah speaks about the mission of the people of Israel?

Answer: Certainly. We must tell everyone that we have discovered our essential role according to which we must attain the same unity that once was among us. Only this time we don’t apply this role to ourselves but in order to become the Light for the whole world and to give it as an example.

We understand those who hate us because of our “invalid operation.” Because they feel that they depend on us for everything. And so we truly begin to organize ourselves like that, to serve them faithfully. Now we understand why we have returned to the land of Israel.

We understand what our role is: we must establish a nation here as an example that demonstrates how to live together not according to the laws of the capitalists of the West, but according to the laws of the wisdom of Kabbalah, as one person with one heart, in equality, in reciprocity, in unity and love.

This is what we must show to and tell everyone. Humanity requires this already and it is suffering from not having this method of connection and unity.

And so the world will say to our Middle Eastern neighbors: “Be quiet! Let them do what they want. After all, they are doing this for all of us.”

If we behave like this, it will cause no opposition. After all, the people have been expecting this from us throughout all of history. For thousands of years they have said to us that we are the cause of evil for the whole world, in other words, that we have not carried out our mission. We have supposedly hidden away the key for happiness or we are sitting on the faucet of the pipe of abundance and are not opening it. So it follows that the world suffers because of us.

Question: Doesn’t this seem like arrogance on our part?

Answer: They acknowledge their dependence upon us themselves. What arrogance is this talking about? Apparently, according to our nature, we wanted to “bury” ourselves as deeply as possible among the nations, “to lie down on the ground,” to disappear from view. But again and again they focus their attention on us and elevate us so that we will show them the good life, provide them with a good example, and teach them how to live.

Even before the establishment of the nation of Israel we should have proclaimed openly: “We are going to the land of Israel to build a nation here according to the laws of the wisdom of Kabbalah, according to the inner laws of nature. We are going to show everyone how a nation that lives according to the laws of mutual unity and love should look. This is so all of the nations will ultimately unite with each other.”

This is what should have been done, then we would not have encountered any resistance, not even the smallest, from any side. For the force of nature, the law of nature is acting here. If we activate it, yearn for correction, the goal of creation, there are no obstacles on the way.

Question: And what is this law?

Answer: It says that all of us must be a single whole as one person with one heart. This applies to the whole world. It is written: “…for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isaiah 56:7), “…and all nations shall flow unto it” (Isaiah 2:2). The people of Israel must be “…a Light of the nations” (Isaiah 49:6), because in itself it is a “…kingdom of priests, and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:6). This means that we must be teachers, an example.

This role has been incumbent upon us since the days of ancient Babylon and the global crisis that erupted at that time. Today we have reached its next and final round. That’s it; there will no longer be any more delays and setbacks. If we unite now and provide humanity with an example, we will solve all of the problems in the world and our own.

Question: The state of Israel was founded with the great hope for a better future, but instead there is no end to the wars in this region. What is the reason that we have been in a continuous war with the Arabs for the last century?

Answer: On what basis do we claim that we have a right to this land? Is it because it used to be ours in the past? But the Jews also lived in Egypt in the past and this is also a historical fact.

We all know that people have wandered from one place to another throughout history. It is impossible to say who lived here two thousand years ago and that the people living here now are not the same people who lived here in the past. Only the Indians in America have remained in their original locations in some places.

So why do we all of the sudden demand to have the land of Israel in the 20^th century and claim that it belongs to us? It is legitimate only if we have returned to this land in order to fulfill our special mission, just the way it was in ancient times.

The Jews conquered the land of Israel after the exodus from Egypt and forty years of wandering in the desert. The nations of the world can also accuse us of taking their land because seven other nations were living here. We have to prove to everyone that the Jews came to the land of Israel in order to fulfill a special mission that is important for everyone and that will save all the other nations.

Question: So what should we do in these real-world conditions when the state of Israel is surrounded by enemies that wish to destroy it? Is there hope for peace or will this resistance only keep on growing?

Answer: There is no chance of reaching peace, and the resistance will continue as long as the Israeli nation doesn’t fulfill its mission in the land of Israel. Then all the nations will understand why the Jews are here and will accept it, including our neighbors.

Question: How can we extinguish the hate in their hearts?

Answer: The Israeli nation has a special secret method. The Jewish people are the source of all the good and evil in the world. Therefore it isn’t by chance that we encounter anti-Semitism everywhere and that the whole world is either for or against Israel. There isn’t a person in this world that is indifferent or neutral with regard to Israel: He either feels love or hate.

If he is still neutral, it means that this question hasn’t awoken in him yet and the time for that hasn’t come. This means that Israel is a very important factor that affects the whole world. We can consider this effect irrational, virtual, or spiritual but it still has a very powerful influence on the world. Therefore, the world has always paid great attention to Israel and has regarded it as the source of evil.

But Israel can also be the source of goodness. All the evil and all the goodness in the world depend only on the connections between people. If we establish the right connections in the Israeli nation, we will force the whole world to establish good, warm, mutual connections between people.

Then the whole world will feel and understand that it all stems from Israel and will accept its existence, which means that it is the Jews who should live in the land of Israel and unite and create the source of the good connections for the whole world.

Thus, we fulfill our mission. It was given to us by nature not because we wanted it; it is imprinted in nature as a law, just like anti-Semitism is also a law of nature.

From At the End of Days. Jewish Predictions of Humanity’s Future, Chapter 1, “Signs Indicating Imminent Deliverance”: Messiah will not come until the strength of Israel expires.

In spiritual work, one has to be completely disillusioned about their ability to act independently and to determine things and events. Everything happens only with the help of the upper force.

Everyone will have to sense and realize that we don’t have anything to do with the action of correction. Even though we may plan for certain actions, we are not involved with them because we are influenced by the upper force that descends and corrects us.

We contribute our efforts only to realize that this process is way beyond us. The force that descends to us from the next level has nothing to do with us.  The sensation that it is impossible to act on our own, is in fact, a reward for our exertions.

Our full awareness that it is the upper force that has complete impact upon us is the basic condition of being under its influence. Its power is ultimately important since it speaks of a new stage, the next level.

Comment: It is a very cruel and painful condition.

Answer: On the contrary, it is very joyous since we feel it as deliverance. We get rid of the responsibility to plan and calculate events that take place in our lives.

Question: Am I freed of worries about myself?

Answer: No, you stop worrying about yourself long before you attain this state. You simply feel a desire that is absolutely incapable to act on its own as if it’s inanimate, dead matter.

Only with regard to the next state, which you define as spiritually dead, are you able to turn into clay in the sculptor’s hands. Only the Creator can transition us to the next step and give us water that brings life. The land (desire) is dead without water (the Light of Hassadim). When it happens, you’ll be revived and will transition to the next step.

Question: Today there is a terrible conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Lugansk and Donetsk residents have to face a question whether to defend their land to the end by suffering the enormous losses or to take some other action. How does Kabbalah see this problem?

Answer: Unfortunately, all the conflicts in the world are tied to us. And as a rule, they accumulate and turn against us because we do not do anything, even though we are the only force able to balance all the negative and positive in the world.

Therefore, Lugansk, Donetsk, and the Gaza Strip, and any internal family conflicts wherever they may be, are all tied in a single knot.

Everything is tied into one system starting from small conflicts that arise within our body as different diseases, and ending with a turmoil in human society at all levels: economic, political, spiritual, and family. Only the Jewish people can balance it if they start to unite properly with each other according to the method of Kabbalah.

So I cannot say anything good about Donetsk and Lugansk as long as we do not take the matter up ourselves.

Comment: It could be understood that there is a necessity for an Israeli assault force which will bring order there.

Answer: No, we do not need any assault force! We just need the Jewish people coming to a mutual agreement among themselves, to the correct relationship with each other, which is what the real Torah requires of us. And that is first and foremost. We are the Jewish people, and the whole world is on the verge of such critical events that I cannot hold myself back by confusing people in the hope that somehow it will be all right.

Our Academy consists of students who are not just Jewish. Hence, they can be the carriers of the spirit of the Kabbalah. This means that the peace will be brought to the Ukrainian territory not only by the Jewish people, but also by the Ukrainian people studying Kabbalah.

When we, the Jewish people, publicly declare our mission, nations will cease pressuring us and will give us time and the opportunity to perform the mission. Moreover, they will come to help us as much as possible, saying, “Just tell us what to do. We are ready.”

Question: Why has this mission been hidden from us for so long? If we had known about it, then maybe we would have realized it in life a long time ago.

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah has remained hidden intentionally because we had to be immersed in the nations of the world. We are talking about a large-scale, highly complex program. We fell from the degree of love into unfounded hatred and this degree is invisibly rooted within us.

Thus, going into exile among the nations of the world, and not knowing how, we affect them and form all sorts of connections. Our contribution is still to be manifested, especially as the ten lost tribes are contributing for the first time since the time of the First Temple.

Therefore, as it is said, war, terrorism and all the miseries and misfortunes, come ultimately because of the Jews.

This means that it is necessary to unite with each other according to a special technique: in circles, in tens. We have already started the process, but this must be done on a large scale by all the people, among the Jews in Israel and abroad. Here and there, we have to lead the people to unity, as in the days of Abraham and the days of the First Temple. We have to rise to this height.

As soon as we start doing this, there will come a general calming, and no one will blame us. So, let’s try. It is in our hands to calm the world. Enemies that are standing today at the border and waiting to destroy us will disappear.

There will be no more anti-Semites and everyone will be in favor. After all, in the end, Israel starts to function properly and give the world what it should, as everyone states, “Finally, these Jews began to realize something that requires them to a higher law, a higher power.”

The fact is that unwittingly, the Jewish people have a special potential, which is the ability to change the world, reality, ourselves and humanity. It is entrusted to us.

We have received the methodology of Kabbalah, and today, according to The Book of Zohar and many Kabbalists, it is time for its revelation and realization. This is the only way to get rid of anti-Semitism, and in general, to correct ourselves and the world. This should happen in our generation, here and now.

Question: How will Israeli society look then?

Answer: The whole society will be united as one man with one heart. Everyone  will feel the eternal, perfect peace. Everyone will identify with the upper force and move into a future dimension that is entirely good.

Question: Is it a secular or religious approach?

Answer: Absolutely secular. It has nothing to do with religion. After all, religion is not engaged in the principle of “love your neighbor as self”; it does not nurture interconnection and love between people, especially on a global scale. Religion helps to keep local customs, traditions, and give a person different services, which of course, do not conflict with the wisdom of Kabbalah.

If all of us are parts of one mechanism, a smooth circle, then everyone is equal. Therefore, any person defines the state of everyone as if one is a king. Absolutely any one of us!

Perhaps we do not yet feel it, but this is how nature is. If we move toward the discovery of the integrated community in which all are interconnected, then we cannot continue with our selfish protectionist nature, which causes us to neglect others and care only for our ourselves.

We cannot become a part of an integral humanity with such a natural egoistic approach. Meanwhile nature pressures us more.

A person wants to be independent and to be left to one’s own devices where one would not be obliged either to the nation or to other people. These are two opposite processes running in parallel. The world connects by increasingly closer ties, inside of which we all become more callous and egoistic.

There used to be shame if one were caught stealing. There was even shame to divorce. Today people feel completely free to marry and divorce several times and the younger generation does not want to marry at all.

We cannot exist in the integral form in our civilization within our current nature. After all, we are not integrated but quite the opposite. There are no more horrendous contradictions than trying to connect us terrible individualists to each other. Nobody wants that connection, and all  run away from it as sheep shy away from wolves.

The people of Israel are especially opposed to such unity despite the fact that they are in such a difficult situation and under pressure from a hostile environment on all sides.

Therefore, a politician who is going to win the election and arrogantly expects to achieve improvements in the country should understand that he cannot do it. No matter what wing he belongs to, either the right, the left, or the middle, none of them can succeed.

After all, they do not know the basis upon which the Israeli society rests, thinking that it is no different from the usual Western democracy. They do not know what nature has prepared for Israel and for the whole world, the mission of the people of Israel nor the purpose of the whole world in this long battle through which we all must go. What is of special importance in our time is their lack of knowledge of what is going on during this period of development.

They do not know anything about it. They think that if they toughen up laws and lower taxes everything will work out fine. These are not the tools you can use to manage the country.

The general law of nature, the law of integrality, influences our government. This law comes down to us from above, and the mechanism acting towards the people of Israel commits our nation to become one interconnected entity. People of the world also require the same of us, because on the next level, they will also connect to the same form of society.

They are required to achieve it but cannot, because no one can teach them to do so. Only Israel can become a light to the nations of the world and teach them, since Israel has undergone this level in the past. If we do not fulfill our mission in relation to the rest of the world, then we will suffer from it immensely.

Question: If the Jewish people begin to implement the Kabbalistic method, what will happen in the world? How will it affect anti-Semitism in the world?

Answer: Instead of feeling anti-Semitism, people will begin to treat us with sympathy, respect, and love. The nations of the world will carry us in their arms because we will provide them with the method for a perfect eternal life.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains how we should correctly work with our ego so that it will not be just an evil force but a help against us, a help that stems from its oppositeness. When we fulfill this work, we will attain the peak of our evolution.

Question: There are people who offer different solutions to the problem of anti-Semitism, like suggesting that all the Jews should come to Israel or on the contrary, assimilate among the nations. What can you say about that?

Answer: Nonsense. Such plans will not work. It is because nature itself is managing the whole process. Sooner or later we will have to discover the potential hidden in each of us and become teachers for all of humanity.

We will have to discover the wisdom of Kabbalah by which we will be able to restrain the ego so that we will be able to use it correctly. It is very powerful and can be very helpful when used correctly. Thus we will reach the good cause.

As for assimilation, it is useless, and we are incapable of it. On the contrary, we are yet to reunite with the ten lost tribes and we will see that they haven’t assimilated either. They will come from every corner of the world and will proclaim their Judaism.

Question: Do Jews really have a kind of a protective shield that guards them from complete assimilation?

Answer: Yes. It is because of the profound basic difference that is concealed in nature itself, in the inner Reshimot (reminiscences) that operate the Jews and the non-Jews. The Jewish Reshimo is actually found in the nations of the world as well, but it hasn’t as yet been revealed, and hasn’t started to speak with them as yet.

It isn’t by chance that Abraham turned to all the people in Babel and said, “Let’s live differently and base our relations on a new principle.” But those who followed him were those in whom this Reshimo, this inner element of unity, was already revealed. Those who didn’t hear the message were those in whom unity hadn’t yet awoken, and thus they remained in their ego.

Today however, we are very close to the revelation and recognition of the seriousness of the crisis we are in and the uniqueness of this abnormal global world. People will feel that they have to unite and that they cannot keep on living any other life but the life that is based on mutual unity into one whole.

Question: Can we say that anti-Semitism is a call and a demand coming from the world “to teach us how to keep on living?”

Answer: Of course. This is the real reason for it. The nations of the world are actually telling us openly that we have the key for a good life. We may ask how it is possible to blame us for all the troubles in the world, but this is what they feel and they cannot get rid of this feeling.

The nations of the world are totally dependent on us. Only we have the solutions to the current situation by showing them how to organize and cooperate amongst themselves.

Question: Suppose I agree with you, what should I do now?

Answer: You should join the method of integral education and learn what it means to be a Jew. It makes no difference whether a person is religious or not, whether he is politically inclined to the left or to the right. We should understand what it really means to be Jewish (Yechudi), which stems from the Hebrew word “Yichud” – unity, mutual love, and how to attain it.

Then this wisdom and method should be passed on to your family and to others within your environment.

Question: I would like to know your opinion about the unstable political situation in Israel, which led to early elections. It has become a tradition that the Israeli government does not keep its assumed term. Egoistical play and intrigue are at fault, leading to the collapse of the government coalition.

I would like to understand this phenomenon, because it affects all aspects of our lives and affects everyone’s pocket, forcing us to come up with a few more billion for early elections.

Every government during the election promises to bring our common ship to a wonderful shore, drawing in front of us a wonderful life. But in the end, we feel that this ship is constructed with many separate blocks, where each block draws to itself.

It faces many conflicting interests, and the ropes tying the whole structure together become torn. Such feelings arise in people by causing a sense of insecurity and instability in us.

And this is not a new phenomenon; it accompanies us from the very inception of the state of Israel. Already so many governments have broken down, each time by bringing us to early elections long before they are due.

According to statistics over the 68 years of Israel’s existence, 33 governments and 19 Knesset assemblies have been replaced. The average time spent in power by the Israeli government is less than two years. This is the ruthless display of statistics.

But we do not want to open any political debates here, which are now well underway on all media channels. We just would like to understand the reason for this phenomenon and how we can fix it. How do we provide a captain for our ship who will lead the ship to the sacred shore? What was the cause for such instability in our government?

Answer: The answer is very simple. In the past there was a king put above all of society and the state government. Even though the king had many ministers, they all obeyed him. It was impossible to challenge the decisions of the king since everything he said was sacred.

How did the king make the right decisions?  He got them from heaven. People believed that the king was placed by a higher power and had a direct link with this power. This is how humanity progressed throughout its history, developing society, technology, science, religion, and education. All countries developed according to some program, with some countries becoming more developed than others. The king stood at the head of society, and under him there was the hierarchy of his assistants and courtiers.

Nature moved us along without asking for anything, yet sent everyone all the necessary thoughts and desires. Of course, we were accompanied by problems and wars, but it was all planned by nature and was supposed to happen. All we had to do was to learn from the experience and gradually move towards an understanding of how to make this a more balanced life.

The force of nature sent the king in the direction in which he lead his people and the people followed him. That was the case in all countries, and the people of Israel also went through many tests, all thanks to the higher power. Everything was planned in advance.

We see that in the days of the prophets, the entire process we had gone through was described by them. For hundreds of years before the destruction of the Temple and the people of Israel going into exile, the prophets knew and wrote about it. The Talmud says that even 70 years before the destruction of the Temple, there were signs of its destruction.

Question: Back then, did the rulers of Israel know that what was going to happen?

Answer: Of course, they knew because it was written in the Talmud and in the books of the prophets.

Among other people, the monarchy remained until recently. For example, a king ruled Russia at the beginning of the last century. People were very religious, no matter what group they belonged to within the society. Everything was organized so that humanity existed and acted at the will of the higher power.

This was ongoing until the time came to exercise freedom of will. Freedom lies in the fact that I myself get involved in the program of nature, study it, and realize how I need to change myself, the entire human society, everyone of us, and most importantly, our relationships with each other.

Now it is the duty of every person. Monarchies began to crumble and eventually we come to the fact that today everyone is king! Everyone is involved in a life of society as a separate, independent person that makes decisions.
