Opinion (John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church, San Antonio, Texas,  CEO Global Evangelism Television (GETV): “John Hagee declared on his Hagee Hotline show last week that God will destroy America because of the way President Obama and the Democrats are treating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.  ‘It’s proven by history,’ he said.

“’I am a student of world history,’ he said, ‘And you can wrap up world history in 25 words or less and here it is: the nations that blessed Israel prospered and the nations that cursed Israel were destroyed by the hand of God.’

“According to Hagee, the Egyptian, Babylonian, Ottoman and British Empires all fell because they did not give the proper respect to Israel, the only country ever to exist because God ordained it for his favorite people.  Of course, real historians all agree that those empires all fell from their own weight because they became too large to control.

“’God could care less about our relationship with other nations,’ Hagee said.  ‘But he’s watching what America does as it responds to Israel. If America turns its back on Israel, God will turn his back on America. And that’s a fact. It’s proven by history.'”

My Comment: On more than one occasion I have heard the same opinion from various people who are not historians or preachers. It apparently applies both to love and to punishment. But that is what makes it the Israeli nation as it performs its mission to be the Light to the nations of the world and bring the method of revealing the upper force to the world.

God will punish America and the entire world, but even before that it will start to punish Israel again because it is our incorrect behavior that causes the American attitude toward us.

It is not Obama who makes decisions, but us, through our attitude towards our responsibilities in this world! Indeed, we are the only ones in this world who have the freedom of choice (see the article “The Freedom”) to reveal the Creator in the connection between us.

This is the only free action that was left to humans by nature, the Creator, and it was given only to us, and for this we are hated. The nations of the world feel their dependence on the people of Israel, and anti-Semitism is their natural reaction to our behavior.

Rabash, “If He Merits, His Work Will Be Done by Others”: If he merits, his work will be done by others. But if he doesn’t merit, his work will be done by himself.

And what is to be understood is what the importance is of the “merit” that his work comes through others. If so, then this is the phase of the “bread of shame” after all; so of what benefit is this?

And it is to be explained that “others” are called the Achoraim (backside) phase. That there are vessels of Panim  (face), which are called vessels of bestowal, and vessels of Achoraim, which are called vessels of reception. And because of this, before a person is made whole, when he still hasn’t reached the level of “merit,” his work, which is the sacred work, is through the vessels of Panim, which are the vessels of bestowal; with them he can work on the sacred work.

Which is not so when he has merit. Then, his work, which is the sacred work, is done by others, meaning in the vessels of Achoraim, which are the vessels of reception. He can use them for the sake of heaven.

Vessels of the face are called Israel (straight to the Creator), for there are sparks that yearn for the goal of creation in them, even if in the meantime this is for the sake of reception. Their yearning is weak because they do not have great force of desire (Aviut).

And so if they are ready to activate the Achoraim, then they get energy from there to advance towards the goal of creation, to connection, to adhesion. There is an immense power in the vessels of Achoraim, yet it has no direction. This means that they are not directed towards the goal of creation, yet they have lots of energy. And if the vessels of Panim are ready to see that the vessels of Achoraim are theirs, then they join them to themselves and see part of themselves in them.

And that is how they get energy from the Achoraim, and give the right direction to the whole of the complete vessel that is already made up of the desires of Galgalta ve Eynaim and AHP.

And so the right stage follows: The direction comes from the vessels of Galgalta ve Eynaim, the vessels of Israel, and the energy for movement towards the goal of creation comes from the vessels of Achoraim, AHP, directed by Israel. So they reach the goal of creation together.

This is called, “Their work is done by others,” for they get the “work,” the energy for advancement itself, from the vessels of Achoraim. But this is on condition that they see the vessels of Achoraim as an inseparable part of themselves, as a single system.

And if not, then they need to advance through the energy that is in them, in the vessels of Panim. And since this is a weak energy, they are certainly not ready to advance quickly until they finally turn to the vessels of Achoraim.

So they need to sense the time and place where it will be possible to turn to the vessels of Achoraim to connect them to Israel and advance together. They need to acquire experience and build some kind of method to approach them. As it is written: “Train a child according to his way ” (Proverbs 22:6). This means that it is necessary to search for some form to approach people and connect them with us.

To the degree that Israel invests energy in the vessels of Achoraim, to the degree that they feel that everything is part of a single vessel, to this degree they can advance quickly. The feeling of movement comes in the vessels of Panim, but the clarification of the advancement comes specifically with the merit that the vessels of Achoraim is included in them.

At a particular stage of development, humanity finally gets the opportunity to understand his evil egoistic, lowly nature. If we look at it closely, it seems that there is nothing good in us. We perform even the loftiest and most generous deeds with a single goal of exploiting others.

This also happens regarding our beloved children; we do everything only for our own benefit and pleasure. A person is such a great egoist that he acts solely and only in one direction, for himself. He is not capable of performing any other action. The question is, why did nature create us like this?

First of all, it is up to us to be aware of our place in the enormous mechanism of creation. We are found in it like little children who don’t understand what they are doing on this Earth, which is very small in relation to the dimensions of the infinite universe. This Earth is like our children’s room where we break everything like naughty children whose parents left them unattended.

And we suddenly remember that outside of this room there is still a big house and as it seems, the parents are the ones who created us. Nature is not a blind and wild environment because it cannot be that this world appeared by itself and by chance. It seems that there are laws in it that we must study and feel, changing somehow.

The time has come for us to stop running wild like little children, fighting among ourselves all the time. Come, let’s at least stop for a moment and cease quarreling like tenants living in the same apartment. Instead we should see things with a broader view, looking around and seeing what is happening. Maybe we will succeed in finding more meaning in our lives than we do now?

After all, we are suffering from the conflicts between us and don’t see anything good in this life. This question occupies humanity more and more and requires thought. Maybe the time has come to abandon the arrogance and hatred that are not beneficial to anyone?

This is a typical feature of our time. If previously someone thought that he could attain everything through force and dominate the entire world like Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Alexander of Macedon, Pharaoh, or Nebuchadnezzar, in our time there are no more great dictators, neither Hitler nor Stalin.

The person of today sees that there is nothing eternal in the world and that everything is over very rapidly. So there is no reason to waste the life that is given to us only once. The person subconsciously reaches conclusions like these and enters into despair.

And yet deep at the bottom of this despair there is a wonderful pearl that can be taken; it is called the month of Elul. This is when we finally begin to understand that everything that is happening is for teaching us something. After such a discovery we already begin with a new development and don’t remain within the mutual conflicts that draw in entire nations. Instead we rise to another level of existence, a sublime level.

The month of Elul is designed for renewed, decisive thinking about our lives. We must feel our present state as intolerable and understand that there cannot be anything else with our egoistic nature. It is up to us to see ourselves in the framework of this enormous and comprehensive nature that is pure and exalted, completely perfect and infinite, and then we will be shocked by our state.

How can it be that a human being with such developed emotion and intelligence that places him above all of creation is found in the lowest, most vile and despicable state of all, harmful to himself and the rest of nature? No other creature is ever so harmful!

All the rest act not according to their intelligence, but obey instincts that are always directed towards the best possible situations. Therefore an animal doesn’t err. The smallest kitten will not fall from a height because it protects itself instinctively, whereas a small child can fall because he doesn’t feel danger.

What results from this is that along with our developed emotion and intelligence we also get freedom of choice and the possibility of using our highest potential to develop correctly or incorrectly. This is the entire problem.

Inanimate nature, plants, and animals do not have the freedom of choice that makes it possible to use emotions and intelligence differently. With them everything is simply directed towards the most self-benefit, here and now. With humans there is nothing like this.

And therefore the human, unlike a cat or dog, can harm himself. Essentially this is what happens. We possess greater intelligence than the rest of the creatures, and yet we use it to our detriment and cannot even understand this. It seems that we want to utilize this intelligence for our own good and the detriment of others. Yet ultimately it follows that we are digging a pit for ourselves.

Midrash Sefer, “Beshalach:” When the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea the Creator performed ten different miracles for them.

1. 1. The decline of the water to the sides.

The first miracle is the decline of the water to the sides when the obstacles the Israeli nation faced on its way to attaining spirituality are divided into the left and right lines.

Crossing between the water that withdrew to the sides means walking along the middle line, which doesn’t really exist, since it is a person who stabilizes it by himself through the proper combination between the right and left lines.

What is more, the right and the left lines don’t exist either. There is only a big chunk of desires before you and you have to divide them by yourself, by your own attributes. I can work with this for the Creator’s sake (the right line), but I cannot work with the other attributes (the left line). And you pass in between by using both lines. This action is called the decline of the water to the sides.

2. A sheltering cover that resembles a roof was created above the Jews’ heads.

A roof symbolizes the Surrounding Light.

3. The water was divided into twelve separate passages (a passage for every tribe).

Each property of a person sees the passage between the right and the left lines differently and in a totally different perspective through its ego, according to its own powers. This refers to a person’s internal attributes that now enter the spiritual world and are born into it.

4. The ground beneath the feet of the children of Israel was completely dry.

Passing on dry land means distinguishing between the attribute of receiving and the attribute of bestowal.

5. The ground beneath the feet of the Egyptians resembled mortar. This was the revenge, an eye for an eye, directed towards the Egyptians who enslaved the Jews and forced them to produce mortar.

The Egyptians cannot distinguish between land and the upper water, the attribute of receiving and the attribute of bestowal, and therefore sink and get stuck in the mud.

6. The water becomes solid, like rocks, and injures the Egyptians that chase after the children of Israel.

It refers to the forces of Gevurot (the attributes of Dinim). Therefore the water that should be soft and a source of life becomes the opposite, a rigid force with regard to the Egyptians (the separate egoistic attributes).

7. The water that became solid formed a wall that was decorated by a mosaic.

All the unsolved egoistic attributes within a person, that are subconscious and are uncorrected, are connected to the altruistic attributes but which as yet are clarified nor classified. They are a type of knots of strings below their feet, setting sharp obstacles over which he cannot cross. This whole mosaic is inside a person.

8. The walls that were created by the water that turned into solid were transparent, which enabled each tribe to see the other tribes advance (which gave them a feeling of trust and confidence).

“The walls that were created by that water that turned into solid were transparent,” means that all the attributes can see one another, since they advance together.

Thanks to their connection, the different attributes are considered one whole. This means that they are connected and at the same time they are also separated.

Every tribe has its own role, and therefore, despite the common movement, they advance on their own. But one way or the other, the movement causes everything in the system to disappear and become one whole that is made of all the twelve tribes.

Thus the movement is common, but each tribe has its own way. It isn’t by chance that it was forbidden to intermarry between the tribes, since by that, one breaks the prohibition and the attributes. Each one can be corrected by itself.

It is only after the destruction of the Temple that the intermarriage between tribes was allowed, since there was the fall from the spiritual level.

9. If a Jew felt thirst while crossing the Red Sea, it was enough for him to stretch out his arm and the wall would melt that would provide him with wonderful drinking water.

Everyone could grow infinitely strong by the Light of Hassadim (Mercy). All he had to do was to stretch out his hand. A hand is a desire to receive and everything depends on the intention with which a person fulfills this desire.

A lack of the attribute of Hassadim, which he wants to add to himself, is felt by a person as thirst, “I want a greater attribute of bestowal. I need it like life now, like water.”

What is more, it isn’t about salt water, since we take out all the Gevurot from them, all the evil inclinations. If you advance with the right intention, the salt water becomes pure water and there are no additions left within it.

10.  The moment the Jew quenches his thirst, the wall becomes solid again.

By his prayer, a person seemingly melts the wall of the frozen water, since without that, it would go back to becoming the upper attribute, the upper force.

It is interesting to compare the ten miracles to the ten plagues of Egypt, since both symbolize the same action, but on different levels. Everything depends on the desire for which it is intended: an unprepared desire, without a Masach (screen), without a yearning to advance in the direction of bestowal, which typifies Pharaoh and the Egyptians, or the opposite, the desire in order to bestow. The same action from Above invokes different outcomes.

Question: What is “the nation of Cohens (priests)?”

Answer: Imagine those who went through spiritual ascents starting with Abraham, Aaron, and Moses, and then broke and fell into this world. Now, they should become the nation of priests, that is, intersperse among all the nations of the world.

In fact, we don’t know where part of our ten tribes are since they disappeared among the other nations. Now, they are subconsciously ready to resume spiritual work.

As soon as we start our work of establishing correct interaction, balance, similarity, and integration of the will to receive with the desire to bestow, including opposite properties that obviously exist in the people of Israel, we will immediately see an upsurge of the Cohens in the world (our ten tribes) and the start of their spiritual mission. It’s as if a huge magnet will agitate the periphery. It will pull and elevate other nations.

Question: How can one determine that one comes from the nation of Cohens?

Answer: One can do so in accordance with one’s internal aspirations. Someone’s nationality doesn’t matter, nor does one’s origin or parameters. Suddenly, it will become apparent that one comes from the lost tribe. It is an aftermath of the shattering of the spiritual structure.

There are certain parts of the general soul who know exactly where they come from. Those are the Jews. However, there are parts that are unaware of why they are dominated by an inner rejection of  Jews. And yet, they are connected with the Jews very tightly and this explains their negativity. In any anti-Semitism there is always a bit of a Jew.

Question: It is said that Aaron constantly exerted to strengthen peace in the world and that’s why the Creator ordained him to be the high priest, so that he would bring peace to the upper congregation. What does the upper congregation mean?

Answer: The upper congregation are those souls that have already attained the state of merging with the Creator and serve as conduits between Him and those whom they are supposed to teach, unite, stimulate, and assist. They are great spiritual teachers who represent an interaction unit between us and the upper force of universe.

Question: In all the sources it is written about the importance of connection. So why is there a kind of blindness that does not allow people to see those things?

Answer: Man needs to be able to feel what it is about. Otherwise, it will stay only as important words that don’t have anything realistic behind it for him.

But if he will participate in a workshop in roundtables, then suddenly he will be impressed as if he never heard until now that connection can awake such feelings.

Suddenly he will understand everything. Before he only heard, and in the best case he thought about it for a moment. But the person lives in a feeling, our matter is a desire to receive; therefore, we grasp everything through the heart. As long as our words do not touch the heart, they have no meaning and they stay as philosophy and empty slogans. Therefore, we need to bring a person to excitement and for that we need to attract him to a special workshop with questions that will excite him and he will understand that here lies a special force.

He will want to be in this special state all the time to continue it more and more according to his desire. We need to bring him to this feeling a few times so it will live in him.

And later he will not just receive a pleasant feeling; rather, he will reveal the force of unity. And we will be able to teach him to use this force to correct his life, the situation, in order to get rid of the evil. Meaning, they are certain stages in the recognition of the intensity of the connection.

Let’s do roundtables in the country and try to connect, to awaken ourselves to connection in order to attract the Reforming Light that will spread between us and correct everything. No doubt, this will improve the situation. In addition to the good feeling, it will cause meaningful changes in the area on the corporeal level.

If we will do all of it, then it will awaken a positive shock in the whole country. It will improve the relations between us, and the behavior of drivers on the road. Try it once and you will see.

This is called true prayer. When we raise a deficiency through connection, the unity between us, it directly awakens the Reforming Light and becomes the “prayer of many.”

We have in our hands, a tool, that with its help we directly bestow to the Creator and activate the upper force; therefore, we don’t need politics. We have an opportunity to make practical actions that awaken the Upper Light. He is always ready and is in complete rest. We only need to activate Him.

At the time of the workshop, people need to feel that they awaken the force of unity between them, which will help them. We only need to explain to them that inside the force of unity between us is concealed the inner force of nature.

All nature is one, a united mechanism; therefore, when we are united, we awake this special force that connects us to Him and fulfills us. In such a form we become one body, where everything is in balance because nature is global.

Witchcraft Forgery

Question: Our understanding of magic and witchcraft seriously expanded at the beginning of this era. Many people believe in or actively refute these issues. It confirms their interest in the topic.

How does the wisdom of Kabbalah relate to these issues? Can we implement benevolent, positive forces by using witchcraft or magic? Can we make our lives better with their help?

Answer: First of all, if not for the wisdom of Kabbalah, we would never have a modern-day understanding of what witchcraft or supernatural phenomena are. They are “borrowed” and then re-structured from the wisdom of Kabbalah and its exploration of how desires that represent the power of a human soul can be used.

The Network’s Enchantment

Let’s get to the point. We are interconnected with each other in a corrupt way. In general, our connection is pure egoism. As a result, evil forces generate the overall system of human relationships: Each one of us pursues personal benefit and doesn’t care about the society. We always try to take advantage of everything that surrounds us.

Humans are not to blame for being selfish since to begin with we are completely submerged in an egoistic nature. However, we are guilty of not using the wisdom of Kabbalah. The Jews should be remorseful more than others since we neglect the science of Kabbalah, whereas with the help of this wisdom we would be able to transform our connection from an evil network to a benevolent one.

According to Kabbalah, this is a positive way of using “supernatural powers,” i.e., transforming relationships between us from negative to positive. We cannot turn them “upside down” since it is an external system for us. Nowadays, the way we are connected make us treat each other quite poorly.

In order to change the current state of affairs and establish good relationships between all of us, we have to use a special force called “the Upper Force,” “the Creator,” “God,” or “Nature.” The impact of the force that we are trying to trigger in the wisdom of Kabbalah is called the “Light.”

It is said: “I created the evil inclination and I created the Torah as a spice.” In other words, egoism governs us; still there is a way to take advantage of the system that can correct our relationships. The power of the Light descends to our egoistic structure and improves it. As a result, a benevolent network appears among us.

This is exactly how we should use the wisdom of Kabbalah and the Torah, the essence of which lies in the principle “love thy neighbor as thyself,” i.e., creating benevolent relationships between all people.

Question: How does the connection with the spiritual forces described in the Tanakh affect our present, mortal life?

Answer: The Tanakh is a fundamental book, which contains everything. The Tanakh’s first book, the Torah, is the entire universe, but only in the form of a thought. The books of Prophets are added to this effect, and the Scriptures contain the completion of this action.

The Tanakh is divided into three parts (HBD-HGT-NHY), giving us all the knowledge of the common vessel of the soul, the entire universe. A person who starts to understand this system no longer gets confused. One will not be able to see the historical narrative in these books. Never before have these books been treated this way until the modern times.

These books have always been considered sacred, and their content is not to be questioned, whether we understand it or not. Every word that is written there is a true statement, but we are not aware of it.

There is nothing in there related to religion, it is just the right approach of a true researcher who realizes that one does not understand what this book speaks of.

One does not approach the Tanakh with a simple material yardstick; one realizes that it refers to a reality that one has not yet felt. Perceiving reality only in our five physical senses, we cannot understand what Tanakh speaks of. After all, this is an area that surrounds our world and governs it.

It is written in the article “The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee)” that we were chosen out of necessity to be the peculiar people of all the nations, meaning to be a special group, “nation,” which is a connection between people that are connected by mutual guarantee between them, a mutual unity force, mutual help, where they are one complete body. This complete body could be egoistic like the seventy nations of the world. Because each one of the seven Sefirot of Zeir Anpin is composed of the ten private Sefirot that are seventy spiritual roots.

Therefore, when the general vessel broke, seventy egoistic seeds were created, which are scattered in all of humanity. This is the source of the definition of the “seventy nations of the world,” meaning seventy different egoistic tendencies.

In addition there is the “nation of Israel.” When under the influence of the Upper Light there occurs a sorting of all the desires of the nations of the world, then the Light, like a magnet, pulls from the general ego the desires that yearn for the Creator, although they are not corrected for bestowal. They are called Israel (“Yashar – El,” straight to God). And the desires of the seventy nations of the world are directed only towards their ego.

That is how the one general force is divided by the influence of the Light. In the beginning it broke into pieces, then they mixed, are sorted, and then the separation occurs: one part rises upward, this is “the nation of srael,” and the second part remains static, which is “seventy nations of the world.” Actually, they are not nations but rather spiritual forces, which thus stand out in nature, and later gradually are expressed in people.

Many years ago, when the people of ancient Babylon awakened a desire for self-realization, part of the Babylonians started to yearn for the Creator and separated from all the rest. This happened under the influence of Abraham, who was the first to reveal the Creator, the single force of nature that acts in creation.

And the other part of the people didn’t feel it, and from the influence of Abraham they felt the opposite negative inclinations. This is how the nations of the world were scattered all over the whole world only in search of egoistical fulfillment. Therefore, it is said: “we were chosen by necessity to be the ‘chosen’ people from all the nations.” Meaning, we need to justify the intention that exists in us.

Thus, only the people of Israel took upon themselves and entered into mutual guarantee and not the people of the nations of the world, who did not take any part in this, because reality itself obliged them to do so.

That is, the whole of Babylon was divided into two groups. One group is the “nation of Israel” (that yearns directly for the Creator) and the second group the “nations of the world” (that yearn to their ego). Each group developed according to its pattern, later they mixed, and now they meet. From this moment on we enter a special stage in the development of humanity.

But the final correction of the world will be in bringing everyone in the world is united in their desire for the Creator, and the Creator will be revealed to all the people of the world, as the sages wrote: “And the Lord will be King over the land,” and on this day He and His name will be One.” God is the Light, the Creator, and His name is the revelation of the four degrees of the Light “Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey,” black letters on a white background. “He and His name” means that each revelation in our world will be good, whole, and eternal, like the Light itself.

And shall say on that day: “And the land will be filled with knowledge of the Creator, and all nations shall flow unto it.” Knowledge will be revealed on the desires of all the nations and not the nation of Israel, which will only do its role. And thanks to the ego that will be corrected in the nations of the world, a great general knowledge and comprehension of the Creator will be revealed.

But the role of Israel toward the whole world is similar to the role of our forefathers towards the Israeli nation. We need to be teachers to all the nations of the world and help them rise on the same ladder of degrees like us.

And every commandment (correction of our desire) that the people from Israel do in order to bring contentment to the Creator, without any reward and self-love (acts of pure bestowal), serves as a stimulus for the development of all people. After all, we are all connected and transfer the positive virus from us to the whole of humanity… until we tip the scale to the side of merit. We will transfer through us the Surrounding Light to humanity, until it will connect them. Precisely like that the whole Light of the Creator will be revealed in all of creation.

Therefore, we have a serious problem with this personal connection with each other, so that we can form a common desire that is similar to the one Light.

The Light is one, unique, and unified; He created one unique desire and then purposely broke it into small pieces.

And now, by ourselves with the help of the influence of this Light, we need to reach the state when the Light will again make the general desire as it was before—one, unique, and unified.

But we need to request it; when we try to do something in our world, we see that we can’t succeed in it and we must request the Upper Light to help us. This request is called “raising MAN” or a prayer. And if it’s correct, not egoistic, but directed to fulfill this act, then the Light will fulfill it.

Correction is only in universal unity. The world today is in a position that we can talk about it openly and concretely, without any excuses.

The whole world and Israel reached such a critical state that we are talking about the future of the human being, his family, country, and the world. It is impossible to continue to develop in the same way; the world is on the verge of a terrible explosion.

We do not understand that our connection with each other is a powerful weapon with which we can change everything. It’s like the “four symbols of Sukkot“—the branches of different trees connected together and a beautiful citrus fruit, symbolizing the unity of the Jewish people—the connection between everyone: all the people and the sages.

With this means of connection, we can manage our entire life; we just need to pick it up and start working. There is no other possibility. Unity is a means of achieving a common desire, as powerful as a sharp-edged sword.

Any positive change will come only through the connection between us. If we all start to think in this way, it would oblige everyone, because society inspires all our thoughts. Thus, we will affect each other and unite into a single force of mutual bestowal, which will begin to reveal the future, a better state.

Changes can occur very quickly. The correction of the world is already in the aspiration for this unity, even if we have not reached it yet. The world is demanding this. One has only to begin and we will see how we move forward.

The whole world system is in a terrible inner tension; it should already be connected. We see that the world is undergoing awful events. The whole world is tied into one system, and connections between everyone are extremely tense.

This is a real time bomb that is constantly ticking. We are on the verge of explosion in the environment, society, in all areas. Tension has reached such a critical point that we no longer know how to get out of it, such a state as just before war.

Therefore, the world requires from us only a small effort for unity. One has only to begin, and we will advance to a better life immediately.
