There are two opposite forces in nature and everything depends on how we use them. There is the good force and evil, the force of connection and the force of rejection.

These forces are present at all degrees of nature: inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human. We need to learn how to control these forces instead of letting them control us.

Kabbalists tell us about this, and they are the ones who have already revealed the upper degree of reality, the second floor of our existence. Humanity is already completing the first stage of its development under the control of an evil egoistic force. And then, according to the historical process and the forces controlling us, we have to go up to the second floor.

The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches how to climb from the first floor to the second. Kabbalists performed this ascent hundreds of years ago. But then there were only a few of them in each generation, such people who took on themselves the work of changing the relationship between people. Thus they revealed the second force of nature, the force of unity, and wrote us books about it.

We are obliged to move to existence on the second floor, to the realization of the good force between us in the global connection of everyone together. In this way we return to the state that was before the shattering of the system of Adam HaRishon, the first man that was shattered into many parts. There is a part of this Adam in each of us, and we need to connect all these parts back together, which is called becoming like one man with one heart.

It means to return to the existence of the system as Adam, like (Domeh) the Creator. And then we will continue to exist on the second floor of reality, on the degree of connection.

This transition can be made in a good way through the power of unity by awakening it between us. Or we will have to move forward under the influence of an evil force if we do not realize our connection in time with the help of correct, progressive development, from a smaller connection to an increasingly stronger one.

If we do not awaken the good forces of nature for our connection, then they immediately begin to act in an inverse, negative form. And then evil forces are revealed between us, which generates conflicts, wars, as well as internal and external problems in the relationship between us and for everyone individually.

Therefore, a hundred years ago, the wisdom of Kabbalah began to open up to everyone. Kabbalists explain what needs to be done to reveal our next degree, the second floor, in the fastest and best way. Baal HaSulam was the first Kabbalist who widely revealed this technique to everyone; he wrote many books about it, according to which we study.

Comment: In principle, our world is built on connection. Either way, people gather in some kind of enterprise, around some idea, for example, football, etc.

My Response: They connect by an egoistic purpose—to benefit from the connection instead of letting the other win. Like the Mafia or some organization that needs to be strong in order to defeat others.

If the connection is not directed for the sake of good, peace, love, or revelation of the upper state, then it is contraindicated. In any case, it will lead to a bad result, as we saw in the example of the Soviet Union where the idea of unity, brotherhood, equality, and solidarity was emasculated. In the beginning, they were really calling everyone for this, everyone was considered brothers, equals, everyone was united, there was an urge, and it did not matter that everyone earned one hundred and twenty rubles (very little).

This attracted people, and in the West they could not suggest something equal to this, although they received many times more money. But one received five hundred times more, and the other only five, and this difference spoils everything for a person. But when everyone earns one hundred and twenty, then it is better. If only this idea were promoted…

But this requires a spiritual background. Therefore, the lack of proper education when no one understood how to do this gave its result.

In the News (NPR): “A controversial new Japanese government campaign is urging young people to drink more alcohol to boost the economy. It comes as young Japanese people are turning away from drinking. …

“The campaign is dubbed Sake Viva. …  Sake Viva is a contest aimed at 20 and 30-somethings to suggest new ways to make and sell alcoholic beverages.”

My Response: What are they doing it for the sake of money?! Of course, the world already goes to extremes, especially with young people. Alcohol is such that you get used to it and then you cannot live without it. It is like a drug.

Question: Let’s say people have an idea like this. How should they deploy it? You keep saying that our connection—searching for the connection with each other, and so on—will change everything. If an idea came to them to enact a different law so that the law would be about greater connection, would tax revenues and money fall into the cash register of Japan or not? What do you think?

Answer: I do not know if it would be in the form of money; I cannot say. But the situation would become better; everything would improve, not in the form of tax revenues, but in the form of the general state of society, family, and other aspects of life. Of course it would be different.

Question: Basically they are trying to solve some narrow problem. They also have family, fertility, and ecological problems, whatever. You say that there is a law that can balance everything.

Won’t the government and authorities then not have the idea that they need people to drink more?

My Response: The only question is how popular it will be, how much the Japanese will go for it. But such a closed society as Japan could try to do it.

Question: Should they conduct such an experiment on the island? What would humanity see then?

Answer: Humanity would see a huge leap in all areas of life.

Question: Would technology and Japan then be popular all over the world again?

Answer: Everything would go up.

Comment: What is your advice to the Japanese government considering everything that has been said?

My Response: Think about what you are doing. If you drive a people like the Japanese into a new pattern of alcohol consumption, after which drugs and so on will follow since  everything leads to one thing after another, it is impossible to get out of this. Especially with the Japanese character.

Therefore, I strongly advise you: take ancient Jewish wisdom as a basis, which says that only coming closer to each other of members of society will lead the entire society to prosperity and solve absolutely all problems.

All the forces of connection that existed in Adam HaRishon before the shattering should be revealed in our time in a negative form, in the form of separation, confrontation, hatred, and rejection. And we must gradually fix it all.

People who have a tendency to correct the world come to study the science of Kabbalah because a “point in the heart” awakens in them, a spark of unity. Thus they begin to learn how to fix the shattering.

This is a long and difficult job although we are already in its final stages. We will see how the aspiration for correction and connection will begin to unfold day by day and it will become clear to everyone in the world that it is urgently needed.

This realization will come at the expense of wars and all kinds of problems, the global crisis, which is now approaching in all forms. And all this is so that we understand that connection between us is a panacea for all problems.

We are in a closed circular system where everyone is connected to everyone. Therefore through our good and bad actions, corrections or damage, we cause changes in the entire system relative to each of its elements.

Therefore I must see salvation in the guarantee—personal, general, global, and in all spheres, in the economy, in health care, balance in nature, ecology—salvation through the guarantee in absolutely everything. Do not wait for more severe blows; those that exist today are enough to see that a tsunami is moving toward us which can wash us all off the face of the earth.

By the force of our connection we can stop this tsunami wave and prevent it from approaching. Only our unity can serve as a shield against all these storm waves that threaten to hit us. Nature—meaning, the upper force, the Creator—is already preparing all kinds of arguments for us to prove that it is worth bending down and accepting the force of the upper governance.

And in fact it is not that hard to accomplish. After all, the forces of connection and integral nature are the most powerful and common forces that can really save us from all problems. We just have to try to perceive nature as one force, as the only thing that works.

We see that in this world everything depends on a person. And in the spiritual worlds, everything depends on a spiritual person, which means on the ten, on a group of Kabbalists who are imbued with world problems, who absorb all the inhabitants of this world, and become that maternal womb from which they will be born already at a new spiritual degree and from which a new corrected world will be born.

Question: We have to make many decisions every day. The Romans, for example, tossed a coin. They even had a saying: either a ship or a head. In other words, all or nothing. In 1845, the coin solved the question of the name of the city of Portland, Oregon, which was originally meant to be called Boston, but the coin showed otherwise and it instead became Portland.

Scientists conducted a study. People who needed to make a vital decision were told to “toss a coin.” They tossed a coin and when they checked them after six months, they saw that people felt good about their decision about tossing a coin.

Scientists believe that this is the choice of the golden mean. How do you think we should make decisions: with a coin or in another way?

Answer: I believe that if we are talking about serious things, for example, the choice of the name of the city, then we need to conduct a general survey. If this is some kind of private problem, but you still have a family and so on, then solve it in connection with others.

Question: Does it mean that I do not make the decision myself, but I need to take into account everything and everyone?

Answer: Of course. You cannot decide everything.

Question: What if I have such a character that I make decisions myself?

Answer: It means that you have not received enough blows yet, from family, children, parents, surrounding people, country, from anything at all. You still have to take everyone into account.

Question: What should happen when the head of the country, the leader, makes a decision?

Answer: If he makes a decision alone, then he is not a leader. He must understand how he needs to make decisions so that they are approved by the majority of the people, and that they may speak well of him.

This suggests that he made the right decision, not in order to respect himself, but to confirm that he made the right decision.

Comment: That is, when people say: “What a blessing that we had such a leader. We really felt good under his rule.”

My Response: Yes, that is the way he has to make his decision so that people talk about him like that. Not because he wants people to talk about him like that in order to be proud and so on, but because he is pleased that he has made the decision in agreement with the people. It is very important.

Question: What does it mean to make a decision in accordance with the Creator?

Answer: It means to be among such sages who would help you understand the thought of the Creator and make a decision in accordance with it and with the Creator.

Question: What decision does a sage who is in connection with the Creator make?

Answer: How to move people to the Creator, there is nothing else.

Question: That is, when we say “fateful decisions,” for the sage are they only those which involve bringing people to the Creator?

Answer: Only in this. After all, there is nothing else in the world. Everything else is just covered with all sorts of different words, but practically it is the same desire.

Comment: That is, if for example the leaders of our world are deciding how to carry out economic reform, how to build something…

My Response: It is always the same question: “How to take a step closer to the Creator?” It can be the economy or healthcare, or whatever!

Question: They just do not feel it, right?

Answer: They do not feel it, but the sage does. The solution is always in this: to be closer to the Creator.

All the problems and troubles in this world are the result of the revelation of the lack of mutual guarantee (Arvut), which is increasing. Therefore, we need our behavior to be correct, to return to even our ordinary material connection and mutual guarantee.

All diseases are caused by violations of the law of mutual guarantee at the biological, zoological, botanical, or social level.

There are many levels of compliance with the law of mutual guarantee, but the highest is the love of one’s neighbor as oneself. In physical and chemical form, substances bind together, and at higher levels, people’s thoughts and desires bind together. In this perfect system, which is the universe, all the galaxies are connected to each other, that is, everything depends on mutual guarantee.

The pyramid of mutual guarantee includes the inanimate level at its base, then the vegetative, the animate, and above all, the human level. If we, are above all nature, at the top of the pyramid, fulfill the condition of mutual guarantee (Arvut)  in our desires and thoughts, in our mind and heart, this will affect all the levels below us. This will calm the whole of nature and bring it back to its integral form.

Nature will begin to behave according to the law of mutual guarantee between all its parts in all spheres. And then, of course, we will not have any health problems in the family, in human society, or even in the environment.

It is not possible to fix the environment by burning less oil or taking other protective measures, but only by implementing the law of mutual guarantee at the top of the pyramid where we are. By doing this, we will oblige all of nature below us to return to balance, reciprocity, and harmony.

The action of physical forces or the interaction of chemical substances according to their valences, according to the number of electrons around the atom, which bind together and build new substances—all these are the laws of mutual guarantee, which are revealed in different forms. All the laws of nature are manifestations of one global law.

Even the laws of human relations, psychology, and social life are part of a detailed explanation of the same global law of mutual guarantee, which we must fulfill in its entirety in order to reveal our connection with the Creator within this law. By doing this, we add our part to the Creator, and He adds His to us, and we reach the state of “He and His Name are one.”

Question: Victoria writes: “I am so often ashamed of myself today! Such things are happening around, so many tragedies, troubles, so many lives are ruined, and for me it’s all someone else’s pain, not mine. Everyone I know feels the same. I understand that this is the cause of all the troubles. How can you make someone else’s misfortune become your own? I’m sure it would change the world. What are we all missing?”

Answer: To feel the neighbor as yourself.

Question: How do we do it?

Answer: There is a method for this—the science of Kabbalah. Otherwise, a stranger will always remain a stranger, and people will not understand each other, and the world will be separated. As a result, such a global, calm, quiet, prolonged chaos, if not some kind of world, global war, nevertheless will drive humanity into its corners. I think we will see in our time how much people will become isolated.

Question: Tell me, why are people really looking for different ways, but not uniting toward a common pain?

Answer: It is against our nature.

Question: Will we be running into different corners all the time?

Answer: Yes, and how!

Question: We will not converge to the center?

Answer: No. Now the period will come when people will separate from each other as much as possible! Egoism will force us to do this. Quietly, calmly, it will disperse us in corners so that we realize it. The realization of the results of this egoism will lead us to its denial.

Question: Which means, in principle, it becomes its own gravedigger as a result. What interest does it have in ruining itself?

Answer: The fulfillment of the secret meaning of development in order for us to realize that we need to be above our nature after all.

Question: When you say “Secret meaning” are you saying this because no one really understands it?

Answer: Nobody knows, sees, or feels it. Of course.

Question: Now it looks like a fantasy for humanity to become one. Internally, maybe everyone wants it. Now it is clear what the cause of all the troubles is. It is clear that there is no coalition, there are no connections, everything is solved with the help of force, wars, weapons, and money.

And it is clear that if all this were suddenly canceled and we moved toward some kind of connection, it would be good for us. It’s obvious, right?

Answer: This has been talked about for millions of years.

Question: Yes, scientists, writers, and philosophers, all the more so, claim it—all these utopian cities, utopian systems. The only question is: why is it getting worse and worse, with a greater awareness that we need to unite?

Answer: The Soviet government set a very bad example for us. How false it is—communism, the commune—it actually led to enormous problems, suffering.

Question: But it wasn’t just done from above, was it? The upper force made it so that we saw that it was impossible to build communism in a single country.

Answer: Impossible, according to our understanding! And if we take the plan of nature and the right correction of egoism— whatever is written in the science of Kabbalah—then you will have to turn to the ancient science and implement it. Otherwise, nothing else will work! Here you will have to solve many problems at the same time.

Question: So our mind absolutely does not play any role here, but on the contrary only ruins everything?

Answer: In general, yes.

Question: In what sense must the mind be involved, since it is given to us after all? It is given to us for something.

Answer: It was given for us to understand that with our head, with our concepts, we will not be able to achieve anything.

Question: In order not to create progress and so on?

Answer: No. To go, on the contrary, against it, in search of a reverse solution.

Question: And as a result, you say, we will come to the conclusion that it will be reasonable if we understand that…?

Answer: Nature will teach us with brutal blows. We won’t be able to do it otherwise. Either we will take these blows internally and correct them within ourselves, or nature will correct us with external blows—wars, exterminations, famine, and so on.

Question: So the whole path now is to experience all this within?

Answer: Yes. Instead of freezing and starving.

Question: Are you now saying that everything we see externally—wars, possible freezing, starvation—is it because we have not experienced it internally?

Answer: Yes, we don’t want that.

Question: So, in order to stop all these external threats that threaten us in the future, we have to experience internally?

Answer: To realize that we have to change ourselves, our nature. It is possible if people want it. Meaning, if they realize it. Awareness can be either through great suffering, or through enlightenment. I can’t say anything else here.

Question: As you say, our nature is egoistic, and it needs to be turned into altruistic? That’s it?

Answer: That’s it. And again we reach the finale. This connection is a voluntary, conscious, correct connection of everyone for everyone’s sake. Not according to the patterns of egoism!

Question: Is this whenever we unite against someone?

Answer: Even if not. It’s just when egoism invents all sorts of methods for us. When we, supposedly smart, get together, and start deciding what to do. That is not how it is done.

Question: But how?

Answer: By making people aware that there is a technique, and it is here, in the depths of the ancient wisdom, Kabbalah. Otherwise, it will be the end of us!

In principle, this is natural wisdom, which is located within nature and goes against the egoistic nature of man, and this anti-egoistic nature a person will have to discover, study, apply, and implement for himself.

Nothing more is needed! This is the only wisdom that humanity must master.

Question: And everything will change?

Answer: Precisely then it will.

Mutual guarantee is the global law of the existence of humanity as one soul. If it is realized between people, then all the degrees below us, meaning the animate, vegetative, and still nature, will reconnect into one single system.

If humanity were united at its human degree today, we would see such changes in the entire universe where all nature gathers into one system, where no eruptions occur, and complete harmony reigns throughout the still, vegetative, and animate world.

As the prophets said, the wolf will live peacefully next to the lamb, and the whole creation will exist in single harmony. In this way we will bring the whole universe and the whole world to a single connection, and the Creator will reveal Himself within this harmony as one force that fills and embraces the whole creation. Our mutual guarantee and connection will not only improve our life, but it will also correct the whole creation and will combine it into one perfect system.

And this is bound to happen because these informational genes are recorded in the creation and forces are acting in it that lead it to this goal. We can bring this goal closer with our participation. Everything depends on us!

Temperatures are rising, and one colony of ants will soon have to make a collective decision. Each ant feels the rising heat beneath its feet but carries along as usual until, suddenly, the ants reverse course. The whole group rushes out as one—a decision to evacuate has been made. It is almost as if the colony of ants has a greater, collective mind.  

A new study suggests that indeed, ants as a group behave similar to networks of neurons in a brain.   

Rockefeller’s Daniel Kronauer and postdoctoral associate Asaf Gal developed a new experimental setup to meticulously analyze decision-making in ant colonies. As reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, they found that when a colony evacuates due to rising temperatures, its decision is a function of both the magnitude of the heat increase and the size of the ant group.  

The findings suggest that ants combine sensory information with the parameters of their group to arrive at a group response—a process similar to neural computations giving rise to decisions. 

“We pioneered an approach to understand the ant colony as a cognitive-like system that perceives inputs and then translates them into behavioral outputs,” says Kronauer, head of the Laboratory of Social Evolution and Behavior. “This is one of the first steps toward really understanding how insect societies engage in collective computation.”  (Rockefeller University)

Question: How would you apply this to a human being? Is it applicable to a human being? Can a person reach such a state with another person?

Answer: No. It is possible to reach this state through tremendous internal work but not simply instinctively the way birds or fish or other animals do.

Question: For animals it is instinct whereas for us it is work to achieve this state?

Answer: Of course. You see how fish in the sea all swim in a huge school that can include hundreds of thousands of them.

Question: And man often abandons another person and runs away because he is hurt.

You, as a Kabbalist, do you think we should reach a state where we start to feel one another this way, where we exist in one breath?

Answer: Generally, we will have to. But it will not happen the way it does with fish or birds but by us calling out to the Creator and asking Him to connect us within Him. For Him to connect us in His upper mind, in the desire, and then we will roll together with Him. This is what we want to strive for.

So, the Creator will be the force that unites, governs, and guides—everything!

Question: Then thoughts about me, that I feel hot, will go away?

Answer: I will be inside of Him. What thoughts are there? Everything is done.

Question: Meaning, I am entirely inside of Him and rely only on that?

Answer: Yes. He has already swallowed you. It is the same for everyone.

Question: And then we become a single body, heart?

Answer: Yes. Look at those fish—they are in Him instinctively. But we need Him to do this for us.

Question: When we see this—the way birds, ants, and fish move— why are we being shown this? For us to see it and maybe even envy them?

Answer: It is for you to see that there is a state of adhesion, unity, and obedience where each one annuls himself for the sake of everyone. Our purpose is—in spite of our egoism and individuality—to reach the same state.

Question: And what if we were not endowed with this individuality?

Answer: Then we will be like fish or birds. And what is the rationale for that?

Question: Meaning, then we would not feel that happiness?

Answer: Only if we want to do it in spite of ourselves! Then you feel pleasure from submitting to the Creator in spite of yourself in order to be together with everyone you want to separate yourself from! Do you understand what kinds of opposite forces are operating here? And at the convergence of these opposing forces is precisely when you reach adhesion with the upper one.

Comment: Bliss, as they say.

My Response: Yes.

Question: The feeling of not wanting to connect with others, does this feeling not disappear in me?

Answer: No. You rise above it.

Question: So, one way or another, I am left with this black hole inside of me?

Answer: Of course. “Love covers all transgressions.” That is, egoism must always be below, and there is connection and love above it. Otherwise the love will disappear.

Transgressions must be there.

Comment: We are very different from ants.

My Response: They don’t have it, they just calmly work.

Question: So what, they don’t have this feeling of happiness, then? Happiness, revelation?

Answer: No, they have the sensation of carrying out their instinct. That is, they feel themselves executors and self-sufficient—but no pleasure.

We were given the opportunity to receive pleasure and be happy.

Comment: Precisely when we overcome ourselves.

My Response: Only then.

Question: Otherwise, a person cannot attain happiness?

Answer: No.
