Answer: This goal is foreseen by nature. It is described in The Book of the Zohar to the smallest consequences up to our time and even further.

Question: Why did humanity need the path of suffering?

Answer: We need to be aware of our state of impasse, our wrong behavior, and all the bumps we have felt so that then we have something to fix.

It is from the realization of evil and its gradual, consistent correction that we will begin to understand the program of nature. We must definitely see that in this I was wrong, in this I went wrong. Question: Do you think that today many people are asking the question about the meaning of life?

Answer: Yes. Even within our organization, there are already millions of them from all over the world.

On the other hand, we can see from the level of depression, divorce, terrorism, and drug addiction that this is an escape from life, and only because a person cannot find an answer to the question about the meaning of life.

Drugs and depression are the main scourges in the world. And there is nothing we can do about it. In Northern Europe, suicide accounts for a huge percentage of all incidents.

Comment: It turns out that the more developed people are, the more prone they are to depression.

My Response: They have everything, and they have nothing. This is what our development and our relations should bring us to.

It would seem that there is nothing wrong with us. We have everything: refrigerators, washing machines, television, radio, Internet, computers, dishwashers, mixers, anything you want. What else does a person need? You can rest, and work less. Why do you have to work so hard? There are many unemployed people, right? We can divide the working day between several people and rest the second half of the day. But what will a person do then? He cannot fulfill himself, he will feel completely lost.

I remember when I was at school, the teacher told us how happy we would be when we grow up: “Today people work eight hours. You will work for four hours, and the rest of the time you will rest, play sports, walk in the forest or by the river, and so on.”

I grew up, and it turned out that it is better not to walk in the forest or by the river because they are full of nitrates and acids. Even at the sea, I swim only in certain places, and then after that, I need to wash thoroughly. And we are now working not for eight, but for twelve hours. People come home only to get enough sleep and run to work again.

So what have we come to? Where is this freedom of a person?

Comment: Today a person can no longer even be with himself without being busy with something.

My Response: Yes, he is afraid to be alone with himself. This is why he keeps himself busy with work.

Question: Do you think that the desire of a woman to make a career is also an escape from her nature, from herself?

Answer: This is an attempt to somehow fulfill what her family, husband, and children cannot give her. No more than that. In fact, a woman does not need a career, after all, it is all artificial, unnatural, and even harmful. We will see the proof for that later. The same is true about a man.

A person should not work for twelve hours a day, or for ten, or for eight. We should work not on the basis of how much I can earn in a day, but on the basis of how much I need in order to exist normally.

We should not violate nature, suck it dry, pollute it, because in the end, we find ourselves in a world where we now have to work in order to somehow correct our mistakes.

Comment: There is a tendency in the media now that goes from one extreme to another. Some media constantly cover negative events. Others try to gloss over those events and want to only show good news; the bad news does not seem to exist. It seems that humanity simply does not know what to do anymore.

My Response: The point is, that old movies and good news calm people down. Why would they want to see all the bad stuff if there is no use for it? I would rather live in my shell, in a so-called soap bubble, with all sorts of soap operas, and feel good.

Just think, life goes by, so I will spend it pleasantly. Why should I listen to bad news and watch these terrible films about murders and continuous gang fights or courtroom squabbles?

A person, in the end, begins to get tired of it, does not want to have contact with this world, and retreats into his own world. So we are constantly building some kind of protective shell around ourselves.

I believe that this is absolutely true. After all, the information we receive is imperfect and biased. Someone sensationalizes them to raise their ratings. Therefore, they twist things to look stunning, publish articles with headlines that make everything seem like it is the end of the world. You look, and there is nothing inside, and even its writing is mediocre.

Question: Where does this inner emptiness come from?

Answer: Everyone has to stand out in order to make some money on it. That is what happens. In the end of course there is emptiness.

Therefore, the people who refuse to do this are right. They are not refusing the truth, but the lies from being played by all these reporters and producers and go into what is more pleasant and better for them. I quite understand them.

But life will not let them calm down because this is not the solution to the problem.

Today I am constantly getting hit by nature. How can I make sure that it does not strike but will stroke me so that everything is good: the sun shines, the rain, the clouds, everything is in due time, everything is good? So that I would live without knowing any bitterness?

When we see these laws and feel their impact on us, we can build our behavior in accordance with them. This is completely real and clear because I see how I should act.

Kabbalah is indispensable here. Therefore, it is revealed in our time. For the first time in the history of mankind it became necessary for everyone.

Question: Is it necessary because we have reached a certain level at which we must recognize the level of nature?

Answer: We have reached a very simple level—collapse, where we are in a general crisis of upbringing, family, health care, ecology, politics, finance, everything. We try to run away and close our eyes because we do not see a solution. Naturally, a person immediately turns on his restrictive internal systems. It is better not to see the bad tomorrow, I will live today.

But in the end, we feel that we need to understand something in our life; otherwise, we will not be able to exist. The younger generation already feels it clearly.

Today, millions of people in the world understand that we cannot live without the method of balance with nature, which Kabbalah speaks of. This understanding arises within a crisis state, within that detachment and emptiness that modern man feels.

Zohar for All, Item 444: Remember the Sabbath Day, to Keep it Holy

Saturday is Sabbath, which comes from the word “Lishbot” (to rest, to stop working). This does not mean a strike, but an abrupt cessation of all activities, and it implies actions for the correction of the soul.

The state of achieving complete correction of the soul is called “Shabbat” – Sabbath. Over the long history of the world, we have been moving toward the correction of our souls. This is the first generation that has begun to do so, and Kabbalah is revealed to everyone.

Detachment is becoming apparent in the world today, it’s all inclusive nature is manifesting, and all for the sole purpose of leading a person to complete despondency, to the need to open his soul and begin to develop it.

We can say that we are now on the eve of Shabbat. That is, from the first revelation of the Creator to Adam, who lived 5,781 years ago, until the end of the whole program, which runs for 6,000 years, there are only 219 years left. But you can reach the Sabbath state earlier.

It is a state where the whole world rises to the next degree, to the feeling of eternity, infinity, and perfection.

We can accomplish this critical transition in a very easy, beautiful way if we explain to everyone what the science of Kabbalah allows us to do and how it is easily and simply implemented.

If we do not choose to advance the easy way, we will still have to reach the sixth day—the state of eternity and perfection, the elevation of our souls—but through very harsh, drastic, dramatic events that may involve world wars.

“Remember the Sabbath Day” means remember that we exist in a temporary state and that we must make all the corrections during our lives in order to reach the eternal and perfect state. Therefore, “remember” means “implement.” Every moment you should implement this idea and move closer to it.

Question: Why are so many TV programs empty in content?

Answer: Today we are going through an intermediate stage. Once we were interested in the personal relationship between a man and a woman, social relations, some serious problems, the so-called classics: movies, operas, no matter what, but they were works of art.

There were not many of them, and that was enough for the people. They did not want to change things every day or watch a few TV shows every night.

Today a person suffers from the fact that he does not receive inner fulfillment, what his inner self requires. He is stuffed with all sorts of things. It is like an adult that is given porridge, while he needs a steak, vegetables, a glass of good wine. But there is none of it.

There is something childish, naive, stupid, starting from humor, satire, and ending with TV shows. I used to like to watch historical programs or travel channels about the world, beautiful places. But today this is also leveled.

In fact, the current human demand is much greater. It is a question of the meaning of existence. It is just suppressed. A person reaches a level where his suffering, emptiness, asks from within, “What do you exist for?”

Question: To what extent is one of the main assumptions of Marxism justified from the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, that “An idea that gets a hold on the masses becomes a material force”? Does Marxism have perspectives in a changing situation?

Answer: Certainly, when an idea gets a hold on the masses, it becomes the power of the masses. This has already become the power of the fist, coercion by this side or another. So, there is no connection or relationship to spirituality and the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The connection between Marxism and the wisdom of Kabbalah is only seen in a very inconsequential coincidence between the opinion of Marx and the state of a society that is beginning to develop through mutual cooperation with each other.

Marx also thought that everything depends on the education of the society and in no way did he call for revolutions that could lead to victory and could change something in a way like that.

Only a proper society can be changed and it must be educated like a small child is educated. A society is generally like a small child that can achieve good results through a proper education. And if not, it could create problems for you for generations.

Question: One is tired of bad news in all the media today. So now there are sites that present only good news. How do you feel about entering good sites and getting good news?

Answer: It is like Vysotsky sang: “We would only need to be injected and fall asleep.”

Question: To inject and forget. That is, only good news will not help?

Answer: You can, but this will be exactly the case.

Question: How should it be? We need to sift through all this bad news? How can I live with all this?

Answer: You have to live right. If the attitudes are correct, then you can meet the worst news and it will not kill you.

Of course, you understand what the world is. But this is only if you know that you must act in order to correct this world.

A person should relate to the world like this world is given to him for correction. It is specially distorted, disfigured, painted black.

And we must make this world a better place. And we have been given a force for this, the higher force of nature, the positive force, which is absent in our world because we do not attract it.

We must feel how a negative, egoistic force operates in our world at all levels of nature: still, vegetative, animate, and human. This egoistic force of nature is triggered by people at the highest level, human, and from this level it acts on the animate, vegetative, and even inanimate forces.

And if a person begins to understand that when in correct relation to others he causes the positive force of nature, then two forces manifest in our world and we will see their result.

The main task of man is to attract this positive force of nature by him acting the same way in our world. He will think about it. Even one thought is enough: I want a positive force to manifest in our world. If we think so, it will manifest itself. And nothing else is needed.

The greatest power is the power of thought, the desire of man.

Question: And then, when reading this horror, this terrible, bad news, what will I feel?

Answer: That they are actually given to you so that you evoke the positive force and balance the positive and negative forces all the time, not destroying negative forces ,but only attracting compensatory positive forces to them.

And there is no need to destroy the past world and build a new one. You only need to add goodness.

Comment: I heard about a serious terrorist attack in Sri Lanka in which 253 people were killed. It turned out that this attack shocked the whole population, especially because it was carried out by intelligent terrorists, as the media called them, people who were highly educated and who came from rich families, not from the lower socioeconomic parts of society.

The same thing happened in a terrorist attack on a synagogue near San Diego where a 19-year-old kept shooting until his gun got stuck, and if it hadn’t been for that, he could have killed everyone in the synagogue. He was a student in medical school and also studied music. We see even higher education has little impact in this sense.

My Response: Education does not guarantee anything since education is not upbringing. It is educated people who build nuclear bombs. Educated people build weapons. It is actually educated people who do that.

Question: Exactly. Why don’t we speak about them?

Answer: We sometimes speak about different tribes that fight against each other, but eventually they don’t destroy each other because if they had, we would not be in the state we are in today as descendants of those tribes.

We need to understand that our evolution is based on egoistic development. So the greater egoists we become, the more we improve all kinds of weapons in order to destroy each other more cruelly. You could not picture the Holocaust in the Middle Ages, for example.

Question: Does this mean that the more educated we are the more cruelly we treat others?

Answer: Of course.

Comment: Our planet Earth is a very complex system that has its own kind of consciousness. It reacts to our thoughts and actions.

My Response: All of them, by the way. The inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels of nature also react to us and to our thoughts. We just do not feel it.

Question: The Earth is a very complicated, complex system connected to the entire cosmos, right down to man. Maybe we can use this example to show all these complex interactions?

Answer: In my view, the Earth is a huge antenna, a resonating ball, that perceives our qualities, changes, and influences that resonate into open space.

By this, we have a huge impact on the whole world, on the whole universe, because our activities are on a level higher than nature. We do not feel the direct effects of our thoughts and desires, but it seems to me that they are incredibly big, powerful, and unfortunately, destructive.
