“Europe During A Difficult Period In Its History”

Laitman_419In the News (cursorinfo): “Europe is experiencing the most difficult period in its history, says Sylvie Kauffmann, a regular contributor to Le Monde. …

“’For a few months the crisis of migrants has led to profound transformations in Europe, even deeper than the euro crisis. The first shock for Europe has become a new division between East and West. The attempt in the name of solidarity, but without pre-treatment to force member countries to quotas of migrant distribution, exposed the chasm that exists between the old democracies of the West and the young post-communist regimes in Central Europe’ – the article says. ‘The categorical refusal of many of these countries to accept the Muslim refugees imposed on them has led to a failure of the front (second shock ), which coincided with an increase in the number of political practices, perceived in the West as anti-democratic.‘

“‘The third shock was the moral EU defeat’ – continues the journalist – Europe has always declared its fundamental values:. Tolerance, Human Rights, Diversity, Tolerance, which fell under the pressure of national-populist movements that flourished in apid color due to the crisis of migrants …’

“”The fourth shock is paradoxical. … says Kaufmann. – ‘The crisis with migrants It showed that the space for free movement can not operate in the EU… Leger understand the resistance of some countries, but it is sure that ‘there is no other way out.’”

My Comment: There is another way out, and in general, there is only one: true integration. But this approach requires a change in attitude toward the world and the meaning of life.

The question is: “Are the people in the European Union ready to hear this or are they completely controlled by the bourgeois elite who don’t value anything but material gain even under threat of its and the world’s extinction? And yes, does the European Union have the power to impose its will on everyone?
A group of Kabbalists could initiate the change.

“Italy: Banking Crisis Or Euro Crisis?”

laitman_220In the News (Social Europe): “Italy is once again in the spotlight. As its banking system undergoes a slow-motion implosion – the country’s banks are weighed down by €360 billion of bad loans, of which €200bn are deemed insolvent …a last-minute quick fix that would temporarily appease market tensions but would do very little to address the underlying cause of the banking sector’s systemic stress: the unprecedented collapse that the Italian economy has suffered over the past 5-6 years. …

“The crisis is ‘the consequence of the longest and deepest recession in Italy’s history’, as the governor of the Italian central bank, Ignazio Visco, recently stated. As financial journalist Matthew Lynn writes: ‘Italy doesn’t have a banking crisis; it has a euro crisis’.

In macroeconomic terms, Italy has been the hardest hit country in the eurozone after Greece. … around 20 per cent of Italy’s industrial capacity has now been destroyed. …

“This is not just an Italian problem: the ECB’s recent stress tests have revealed that the banks with the largest capital shortfalls are all located in periphery countries. According to a recent study, for the EU as a whole, non-performing loans (NPLs) stood at over 9 per cent of GDP at the end of 2014 – equivalent to €1.2 trillion, more than double the level in 2009.

“Now, after years of muddling through, the situation has finally exploded in the Italian government’s face. The proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back was the British referendum, which caused Italian bank stocks, which had been sliding for quite some time, to collapse to their lowest level in years. …

“The European Commission and core countries – most notably Germany and the Netherlands – insist that Rome must stick by the rules and enforce a bail-in of junior creditors before resorting to a bailout. The government categorically refuses to do so and has insisted on being allowed to bail out the banks – a position backed by the ECB – while engaging in a wider battle against the current set-up of the banking union. Mr Visco, for example, has recently stated that that the current bail-in rules are exacerbating the Italian banking crisis rather than alleviating it. …

“Now, it would be easy to classify this as a classic example of Italian dodginess… . And one would be justified for doing so. But this doesn’t change the fact that the bail-in rule is making things worse for the weaker banking sectors of the union – and for Italy’s banking sector in particular. And that is because enforcing the bail-in rule across the board, making it mandatory, as the banking union does – regardless of the nature of the banks’ problems, of the wider macroeconomic context of a country, etc. – clearly penalises the weaker capitals of the union (the ones located in the periphery) vis-à-vis the stronger ones (the ones located in the core countries), potentially leading to a foreign takeover of the former by the latter, thus exacerbating, rather than reducing, the core-periphery imbalances.”

My Comment: It is basically impossible to integrate something partially! Because every integral system (an interconnected unit) is totally interdependent. And if it is partly dependent, in conditions of the development of the world and society toward complete integration according to the laws of nature, partial dependency will only continually initiate more and more problems in communication in order to reveal its partial connection.

But it is dangerous to destroy this partial connection, because even the destruction of bad ties will unbalance the system and disrupt its partial operation, and so in the long run, the problem will be resolved either by accepting the right method of connection and unity (on the level of re-education of the participants) or by a world war.

A Stipend For People Who Are Replaced By Robots

laitman_552_03In the News (Smithsonian.com): “There’s nothing new about worrying that machines will take our jobs. …

“According to a Pew Internet Survey released last week, more than two-thirds of Americans think that within 50 years, most jobs will be done by robots or computers—although the vast majority conveniently thought that won’t happen with their own jobs.

“No matter how this plays out, it’s pretty clear that machines will be handling more and more work, particularly now that increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence is enabling them to take on mental task too. And that is raising a big question: When machines dominate the work world, what are all the people they replace going to do for money?

“Remarkably, one idea starting to gain traction is known as universal basic income (UBI). It’s a simple, if somewhat radical concept—each citizen of a country would receive a monthly check from the government, no matter how much money you make and without any strings attached. …

“The truth is that no one knows how people will respond.”

My Comment: I believe that without general education, people will deteriorate in every possible way. Not securing your own food is the most unnatural situation in material existence.

In such cases in wealthy families, there is compulsory education, a system of strict education and work. How will this work according to the desire of the masses?

Kabbalah believes that general information and education that leads to connection and unity with nature and society into a single whole are obligatory throughout a person’s life. This is a compulsory process which society, the nation, and especially the United Nations must take upon themselves; because it is specifically with this that they should be involved.

“French Islam”

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (France24): French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve held a day of talks on Islam’s place in France Monday in an effort to better integrate the religion with the ‘values of the Republic’, in the wake of a dispute over the burkini full-body swimsuit.

“Cazeneuve told the La Croix newspaper ahead of Monday’s meeting that he wants to create a foundation to help promote ‘an Islam of France’ that respects French secular values.

“The foundation would finance education and cultural projects and non-religious training of imams, such as history of religion classes, he said.”

(Financial Times): “Compromise has never been Jean-Pierre Chevènement’s forte: over four decades in French politics he resigned from three different ministerial jobs after disagreeing with the government’s line. Still, president François Hollande has entrusted the 77-year-old politician with a highly delicate mission: to quell France’s unsettling row over Islam, the country’s second-largest religion.

“Mr Chevènement insists he will not deal with religious matters. He is instead to preside over the establishment of a new foundation for Islam whose goal will be to ‘build an Islam of France respectful of Republican values’, according to Bernard Cazeneuve, interior minister. The state-backed foundation will fund educational, research and cultural projects. It will also offer training on the rule of law, France’s secular system, known as laicité, and gender equality. A separate religious organisation will be set up to train imams.

“’The idea is to bring Islam and France closer,’ Mr Chevènement says. ‘It’s a sort ofcuisine a la française.’”

My Comment: In principle, this trend exists in every nation. If we are talking about Islam as one of the three world religions, in a country with a prevalent Muslim population, they need to be educated, understand, know the history, geography, people, people well suited to this issue, not terrorists by nature and the extreme left and right. They need to know the Koran and other religions deeply.

Question: Won’t these educated people be frightened of the terrorists?

Answer: The fact is that most people don’t agree with the terrorists. They talk about it and live. We cannot limit ourselves and not live.

Question: Do you see a future for modern Islam?

Answer: Certainly. This is imperative. I wonder why this has not been done before. If 10% of a country’s population are Muslims, it is necessary to enter this stratum. It is only now that we have perceived a need for this because Islam was self-contained and there was no obligation to be involved with it. But now  a compulsory education process will be encouraged by the state, and this is very good.

At the same time, there would be some sort of intelligent layer, maintaining close contact with all other cultures and religions and their place in them.

Through these people it will be possible to work with Islam, to appeal to something, or argue “This professor at the Sorbonne or the University of Lyon or thinks differently.” Although today there are few who consider professors, but all the same, there should be a link to academic, knowledgeable Islamists, and then we can somehow mitigate the situation.

Nevertheless, radical Islam extremists will not consider anyone. All of this makes no difference to them at all. From their point of view, Muslims like these are even greater enemies.

“The Coming Anti-National Revolution”

laitman_264_01Opinion (Robert Schiller, Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor of Economics at Yale University, author): “ For the past several centuries, the world has experienced a sequence of intellectual revolutions against oppression of one sort or another. These revolutions operate in the minds of humans and are spread – eventually to most of the world – not by war (which tends to involve multiple causes), but by language and communications technology. …

“I think the next such revolution, likely sometime in the twenty-first century, will challenge the economic implications of the nation-state. It will focus on the injustice that follows from the fact that, entirely by chance, some are born in poor countries and others in rich countries. As more people work for multinational firms and meet and get to know more people from other countries, our sense of justice is being affected.

“Thomas Paine’s pamphlet Common Sense, a huge bestseller in the Thirteen Colonies when it was published in January 1776, marked another such revolution, which was not identical with the Revolutionary War against Britain that began later that year (and had multiple causes). The reach of Common Sense is immeasurable, because it wasn’t just sold but was also read aloud at churches and meetings. …

“The same could be said of the gradual abolition of slavery, which was mostly achieved not by war, but by an emerging popular recognition of its cruelty and injustice. …

“All of the past ‘justice revolutions’ have stemmed from improved communications.”

My Comment: Everything depends on the connections between people. When they begin to feel they belong to a greater whole that is manifested in them subconsciously as the one force that manages them, the Creator, appears in them. Hence, the growing intellect appears in the recognition of dependency, in the new meanings that emerge from the discovery of the connection between us, which is not clear at the moment; it is revelation of the connection between all, the system of Adam (Man).

New Models Of Economic Growth

laitman_547_06In the News (Oxford Martin School): “A new report from Citi and the Oxford Martin School explores the varying impact that automation of jobs will have on countries and cities around the world, in the near future and the coming decades. …

“Technology at Work v2.0: The Future Is Not What It Used to Be builds on 2013 research by Carl Benedikt Frey and Michael Osborne which found that 47 per cent of US jobs were at risk of automation over the next two decades, and on the first Technology at Work report, published in 2015. …

“Key areas of analysis in the report include:

…the authors consider the risks of job automation to developing countries, estimated to range from 55% in Uzbekistan to 85% in Ethiopia, with a substantial share of jobs being at high risk of automation in major emerging economies including China and India (77% and 69% respectively).

While manufacturing productivity has traditionally enabled developing countries to close the gap with richer countries, automation is likely to impact negatively on their ability to do this, and new growth models will be required.

The impact of automation may be more disruptive for developing countries, due to lower levels of consumer demand and limited social safety nets.

Digital industries have not created many new jobs. Since 2000, just 0.5% of the US workforce has shifted into new technology industries, most of which are directly associated with digital technologies.

The largest number of job openings in the coming decades is projected to be in the health sector, which is expected to add more than 4 million new jobs…

“Kathleen Boyle, Citi GPS Managing Editor, acknowledges that mindsets need to change, saying: “A key challenge of the 21st century will be recognizing that accelerating technological change is going to affect both employment and society.”

My Comment: It should be understood that the future occupation of all people, of all ages, will focus on organizing a unified social structure, a unified society. And manufacturing will be maintained only as needed for existence.

A Generation Of Young People In A Crisis

laitman_547_05In the News (The Guardian): “Significant numbers of under 30s lack self-confidence and are at risk of mental health problems, with women worst affected, says report.

“Despair, worries about the future and financial pressures are taking a toll on millions of young Britons, according to a poll which found young women in particular were suffering.

“Low pay and lack of work in today’s Britain are resulting in “suspended adulthood”, with many living or moving back in with their parents and putting off having children, according to the poll of thousands of 18 to 30-year-olds.

“Large numbers describe themselves as worn down (42%), lacking self-confidence (47%) and feeling worried about the future (51%). …

“Young women are being particularly affected. The percentage of women reporting that they lacked self-confidence was 54%, compared with 39% of young men.

“While four in 10 young people said they felt worn down, the percentage for young women was 46% compared with 38% of men. One in three said they were worried about their mental health, including 38% of young women and 29% of young men.

“Dr Carole Easton, the chief executive of Young Women’s Trust, which supports and represents women aged 16 to 30 struggling to live on low or no pay in England and Wales, said it was distressing that so many young people were struggling at a time of life traditionally characterised by youthful confidence.

“Make no mistake about it, we’re talking about a generation of young people in crisis. …’“

My Comment: The quality of life will not improve unless we start working on the explanation of the need to unite people in a common society in the likeness of nature. Then we will begin to awaken the positive effect on society and see the positive outcome in the young generation.

The Risk Of Global Catastrophes

laitman_222Comment: The Swedish Global Challenges Foundation in collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Global Priorities Project recently released a report on the issue of global catastrophic risks. The report outlines the key risk factors that could seriously threaten our way of life on the planet in the next five years as the basis for risk management policy of governments.

So what are the global catastrophes we’re most at risk from now? According to the report, even today the greatest risk are pandemics either natural ones or ones engineered by humans, and the prospect of nuclear wars. Other high-risk threats are catastrophic climate changes, being hit by an asteroid like the one that wiped out the dinosaurs. Global earth quakes or disruptions from artificial intelligence are considered low risk events, at least in the short run. The authors of the report give considerable weight to unknown factors to which it seems more difficult to prepare for, but which certainly increase the risk level (Global Catastrophic Risks).

None of the experts believes that the major risk for humanity is the separation and disunity between people

Answer: Unfortunately, we are not trying to solve the problem on the level of human relationships. These relationships are the basis of all the negative phenomena, including the impact of asteroids and volcanic eruptions. There are studies today that prove and verify the fact that different mutual mental connections do affect our environment, but these studies are few, and in the meantime we don’t see all the connections in nature.

Humanity understands that it is impossible to change human nature and that we should look for the solution on other planes because it is impossible to demand a person to be better to others or to nullify or soften his bad mutual relations with others because this issue is still on the sidelines.

“What can you specifically offer, add, to change us?” This is what people ask scientists, political scientists, sociologists, and philosophers. “You still cannot do anything for us; it is impossible.”

Their claims are absolutely justified and are based on a very realistic perspective of what is going on, because the only force that changes man is the upper force. No one can get close to this force. It works only when using the wisdom of Kabbalah. All we have to do is to understand that there is a method that can change our nature.

Therefore the wisdom of Kabbalah must be revealed to people to explain to them that there is no other way, none of tricks will yield the desired outcome because all the tricks we have are only a way to the disappointment we have encountered in the past.

Only the upper force that created the human ego can change it into the opposite force, into altruism, into love. Human egoism is world’s stumbling block. Mankind has already realized that it is necessary to act in other ways. If we remain within the framework of human solutions, without the help of the upper force, we will not be able to advance. Even if we try to improve, vote for disarmament, rush to outer space, and explore the moon, humanity will not change.

Question: Is it possible to bring humanity to an impasses so that it will feel the need for the wisdom of Kabbalah and begin to work with it just as Newton did in his days? After all he felt that there was truth in it.

Answer: No one can do it but Kabbalists. We have to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah, and on the way we will meet people who are very disappointed with life. Although they cannot understand our method, they will want us to fulfill it because there is no other way. The idea of the wisdom of Kabbalah is basically communistic. And today not only we ,but the world as well, is advancing toward the same principle. Communism and socialism are not obscene words anymore. There are many socialists today in America and in England, and the only danger is that the awakening of socialism will turn into nationalistic socialism, into fascism.

Fascism stems from the word “fascio” in Italian, which is a method that unites the people, but it unites them against something else. We are at a crossroads and have to choose which road to take, whether the road to socialism and communism, the road of brotherhood that unites the world above all the differences, or socialism within an independent state that intends to defeat and enslave others. This is the problem the world faces again, just like at the beginning of the 20th century. Let’s hope that when it comes to Nazism people will feel that there is an alternative so that we don’t return to the same vicious cycle.

“Europe Gripped By The Fear Of Implosion”

Laitman_421_01In the News (Le Monde): “The number two of the Brussels Commission writes in his book Fraternity: ‘This is the first time in my conscious experience of European cooperation, I think the project could actually fail.’ In Italy, where he participated in early September at the Ambrosetti Forum of reflection on Europe, the Dutch Social Democratic Frans Timmermans has certainly qualified his remarks, but the evidence is there, implacable: the European Union (EU ) confronts so many simultaneous crises that it might not recover.

“‘Is Europe under threat? Yes, or worse … With the economic crisis that persists, that of refugees, terrorism, Brexit, this disaster has undermined the very idea of the project, the situation is unprecedented,’ said Enrico Letta, former Italian Prime Minister, now dean of the School of international Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and President of Jacques Delors-Institute. Questioned by Le Monde, he paints a darker conclusion yet: ‘My biggest fear is that we remain in the status quo, we expect the results of the elections to be held in Germany and France in particular, and that the end there are no longer Europe … ‘

“This specialist [Mario Monti, former European Commissioner for Competition] in European policy believes that the EU can still get out of the rut? ‘I always considered that it is through crises that Europe has progressed. But for the first time, I expressed [in 2015] doubts about the fact that we could still be beneficial. What has changed is that the mechanism is broken. Crises seem to generate more new political energies, able to make us move forward.’

“The preservation of social models may well be, in any case, one of the great issues of the forthcoming years. ..

“The ambition of Europe, however, must also be strategic, insists Enrico Letta. Facing the challenges of migration, terrorism, destabilization of its neighbors, it can not simply condemn or limit the damage. ‘It’s the fact that the EU did not want to solve the Syrian issue that put Britain out of the EU, he stressed. What determined the behavior of voters, this is not the question of immigration from Eastern Europe, but the daily images of the chaos in Greece, in Lampedusa or Calais.’”

My Comment: On one hand, egoism ceases to grow and push us to develop further, and on the other hand, it takes on a form of an integral system that is connected, unified, and closed. Consequently we cannot manage ourselves, the family, society, the country, and the world. This is the uniqueness of the current crisis. It can be corrected only by changing man himself. We have to change ourselves in order to resemble the network we are in.

TTIP Postponed! Is This Good For The Jews?

laitman_547_05In the News (Sputnik News): “France has opposed the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership deal between the European Union and the United States. French officials insist that the deal will be beneficial for the US economy while ruining businesses across Europe.

“The TTIP deal establishing a free-trade zone between Europe and the US will not be signed in 2016, Harlem Desir, Secretary of State for European Affairs in the French government, said in an interview with France-Info.

“‘The conditions for this deal have not been agreed yet. And taking into account the current situation, I can say, they will not be agreed until the end of the year. In particular, France sees as insignificant Washington’s proposals on the access to the US market for European products. The proposals would offer no benefits for the European economy,’ Desir said. …

“Initially, the TTIP deal was seen as Europe’s response to its inability to overcome economic depression. Its strategic goals were to increase trade between the US and the EU and to give fresh impetus to economic growth in the ‘Trans-Atlantic civilization.’

“In theory, such an agreement would presume elimination of mutual tariff and non-tariff barriers to ease access to the markets. Currently, average customs tariffs between the US and the EU are three to four percent and the removal of customs barriers would not increase trade. …

“The document has been criticized as being designed to open the doors to other markets for US transnational corporations.

“If the EU signs the deal nearly 600,000 Europeans will lose their jobs, European goods will not be able to enter the US market, exports will decrease and EU countries will lose income, Jeronim Capaldo, a research fellow at the Tufts University, wrote.

“As a result, he warned, the EU will suffer a drop in GDP. Germany, Europe’s strongest economy, may lose up to 1.4 percent of its GDP. …

“The deal will have negative impact on the entire European farming industry and may also affect the European engineering industry, Anna Kokoreva, senior analyst at Alpari, said.

My Comment: This is meaningless because the EU is declining and disintegrating, being swallowed by masses of Muslims. But they will come to an agreement with them and together wage war against the Jews as the wisdom of Kabbalah says. Yet there is another option, the unity of all of humanity not against anyone but uniting in order to reveal the next level of humanity.

The fulfillment of this option depends on the Jews and on the example of unity they will give the world. Why? Because the Jews are the part of humanity which 3,500 years ago decided to unite in ancient Babylon in the state of crisis.

The method of unity is the wisdom of Kabblah and they have it. The Jews have to first implement it themselves and show the way to unity to the whole world. This is the way the world can be saved from annihilation. This is the mission of the Jews and the reason that the other nations hate them.
