In our time, establishing a family “for the sake of family” has exhausted itself. That kind of family life about which they say, “my home is my castle” no longer exists. Today nobody can isolate himself from society and shut himself off from everyone with a high fence. That situation no longer exists.

Large masses of people are moving freely throughout the world, interacting, mingling together. They no longer feel that they belong to a particular place, people, or society.

A feeling is appearing in people that they are citizens of the world. They can live in every corner of the globe, without connecting themselves to any framework, especially now, when the English language has become the general language of communication. We are no longer limited by anything: not by area, not by family, not by nation. Today we must look at all of humanity as one family, and at the entire planet Earth as our common home.

So the role of the wisdom of Kabbalah is to change a person’s thinking. He really must become a citizen of the world. And while there are now certain nations that are still playing with isolation and detachment, claiming that they have their own way, in the future this will come back on them as a very unpleasant situation.

For they are going against the laws of nature that aspires to being global, to being integral, to connection and unity, to erasing all the borders, to what it was before the shattering of the collective soul. It is impossible to stop and delay yourself from this general integration. No matter what kind of integration this will be, for better or for worse, it is integration, and we must go towards it, otherwise the nation or the people will be disregarded and will be sentenced to great suffering and later will need to break themselves up.

Life is showing us that the way of life based upon a strong family life has disappeared and has been swallowed by the past. Families no longer remain where the husband is the head of the family and the provider, where the woman is involved with home economics, the home is full of children, and the yard if full of pets, dogs and cats, running around. This no longer exists and it is not necessary to be sorry about it.

Now, an absolutely different feeling of family has come. It must see and perceive itself as a part of a boundless macrocosm, feel like an element that has been correctly integrated into an immense system, like a gear that must find the place prepared just for it, and enter into it with its attachment.

Every family thereby makes itself into a family unit and works on itself within it, beginning to feel, in spite of itself, the kind of environment that is appropriate for it. The creation of an environment like this will be carried out gradually, until from very many small integral cells an immense integral field, an integral system will be created.

So we must constantly be involved in education, both of children and of adults, in all directions. For our role and mission is to bring them to feel their family unit as a single whole that has merged into a single whole with the entire immense society, all of humanity.

We must organize family workshops for parents, for children, and for grandfathers and grandmothers by directing them towards mutual integration between them. Precisely within this correct integration they will begin to feel that force of nature that we call the Creator, the power of bestowal, the power of love. And only the right education can bring a person to this level, not his knowledge and not various academic degrees.

After the Jewish people entered the land of Israel, which means that they attained a state of connection in which they began to work internally on themselves establishing love, goodness, and complete incorporation in one another. Then new leaders emerged, King David and the prophets in every generation.

These were great Kabbalists who continued Abraham’s path by working on the unity of the nation, helping it to unite, engaging in the education of the growing generation.

At the same time their ego kept on growing, increasing the repulsion people felt toward one another, an unstoppable process.

This was an essential phase both historically and dialectically, since the Israeli nation needed to set an example for the whole world as to how people should live correctly.

Therefore, after they reached the land of Israel, they grew apart in order to enter a state of exile, to live among the nations of the world for a while and to plant the seeds of the spiritual state in them in the form of religions, science, culture, etc.; and when this phase came to an end, to start raising these nations.

The descent from the level of the land of Israel to the state in which the people descended to unfounded hatred during the time of Rabbi Akiva lasted 800 years.

Rabbi Akiva was a great spiritual leader who called everyone to strengthen the love and the connection between them and asked: “Why don’t we keep the rule of “love thy friend as thyself?! After all, it is the general law of the Torah!” But no one listened to him.

People were so immersed in unfounded hatred that they were exiled from the land of Israel. They lost the connection between them because the attribute that kept them together was gone, and when they broke apart, they dispersed all over the globe.

The whole Israeli nation fell to a state of the “nations of the world,” totally forgetting that they had once attained and felt the spiritual world. This is the state we are in to this very day.

But we have fulfilled part of the plan of creation that way: We have conveyed religions, culture, philosophy, science, etc. to the nations of the world. Philosophers in the Middle Ages said that it all stemmed from the wisdom of Kabbalah, from our true Torah.

Rabbi Akiva had a great student called Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (Rashbi) who received the spiritual method from his teacher and expressed it in The Book of Zohar. This is a very special book. For two thousand years it was passed from one generation to the next.

In the 16^th century another great Kabbalist appeared, the ARI. He formulated the Kabbalisitic method in a convenient manner that we could understand.

At the beginning of the 20^th century another outstanding Kabbbalist, Baal HaSulam (Rav Yehuda Ashlag) conveyed The Book of Zohar and the ARI’s wisdom to the contemporary generation in a language that we can understand. He established the practical scientific Kabbalah by which it is possible to understand the world we live in and what we should do in order to bring all of creation to the complete end of correction, which means to fulfill its mission.

We are living in a time when we have to implement the Kabbalistic method. Currently we are going through the same historical shattering in which the terrible egoistic state of the world is revealed to us, in which humanity doesn’t know where to turn to and what to do. It can lead to revolutions, wars, self-destruction, and practically to anything, but we have the method that can save the world.

It is a method of unity and connection, of creating mutual love, bringing the world to harmony, and to the revelation of the upper force, to the inner ascent of humanity from the level of our world to the level of a whole eternal existence. We can attain this here and now.

Answer: I very much look forward to that; I am flying to the nations of Latin America and North America with the great hope of meeting with my students. I want to see that they are advancing in the same direction as our joint “Russian team” advanced in Sochi. I would want similar groups to be there.

We see with what speed the world is evolving. Just think, the Brazilians no longer want to watch soccer! This says something! Here we are still locked into football, whereas, there this is not so anymore, even though for South Americans the carnival and soccer have been the most important things in life.

This is a very interesting phenomenon. Together with tiredness, isolation, and distance, some kind of awareness appears, and not just something vague and passive. They don’t want it! And especially now, when they have lost, this gives an even greater push towards continued awareness.

See how they are being guided from Above! After all, for them soccer had been their whole life: salvation from revolution, from poverty, from everything! People are beginning to understand that a radical decision is required; daydreams at games are not allowed.

It amazes me that this is coming precisely from there. When people like these seem to know naturally how to break away from all the hardships and be satisfied with little, already feeling that they cannot fulfill themselves through this, it is wonderful!

Question: Our sick friend became the reason for connecting and consolidating the world group. Can we initiate and create points like these in ourselves, not derived from someone’s illness, but from our goal, from something good?

Answer: Certainly, we must gather all our problems on the way toward the goal, everything that disturbs our connection, or vice versa, everything that can be used as a push, drive, and incentive toward our unity.

However, on the other hand, the Creator gives us new conditions for every one of our steps toward the Light. So, what will be, will be. We must take all this into account.

However, for now, the Creator specifically chose a sick friend so that we would carry out a mass action of connection for him. For this, we must respect, love, appreciate, and take care of him, for he now has become a means for our advancement.

However, even without this incident, in any case, we should search for other methods of advancement. Generally, we find them in dissemination because within the group itself there is no particularly sharp push or incentive for connection and unity. However, when we are engaged in dissemination, as a general rule we begin to get all kinds of problems that help us unite together to solve them.

Question: When the activity in Sochi was arranged, we all were involved in dissemination there. Now, we aren’t doing activities like these, so, apparently as a counterweight, our friend became ill.

If we plan an activity like this again and begin to be involved with it, then all attention will be directed there. Could it be that the Creator will stimulate us to advance only in a good way then, through dissemination?

Answer: First, I don’t put any conditions on the Creator, and I don’t determine my actions according to what will be or won’t be. None of this is my problem. I am not responsible for this mechanism. It is necessary to do everything to move the system toward correction maximally and most efficiently. This is possible only through dissemination of the method of integral education and knowledge.

Give a general shout into the entire space of Russian speakers that you first are going out for one dissemination activity, then another, and so on. To the degree possible, make a general program that will be accepted in all regions because all of the groups are on different levels of development. However, you can do this and be in constant communication and connection among yourselves.

In fact, the action in Sochi united a circle that was not large. It was a good idea, but how many people were there in comparison to all of the groups? They sat in one place and cooked by themselves as in a big pot, and now it is necessary for something else to appear from all of this cooking and from the Saint Petersburg convention.

You must begin to act in wider circles and not continue with actions on ourselves. I think no one would prohibit actions like these. It is possible to try to arrange them under a pleasant slogan about the unity of all of humanity, a call for mutual understanding and the like.

Question: What is the attitude of the wisdom of Kabbalah to the modern development of the world? Towards what is the world advancing? Will there be an end to the situation that we call the “crisis”?

Answer: The translation of the word “crisis”” from Greek means, a new birth, rather than the destruction of the old. Basically, destruction of the old means that the new already exists. It has appeared, but we have yet to discover it.

How can we pass through this state of the birth of a new world comfortably, rapidly, and pleasantly?

We have always developed with the help of the ego that has consistently pushed us by way of all the social structures until we have now reached a state in which we have totally lost the desire to evolve. Space exploration, the development of nature, and a wide range of scientific studies have all gradually waned.

For the first time in human history, we feel that our ego has completely failed us.

The world is sinking into nihilism, into lack of activity, and into an absence of desire to create anything. We see that even with the best intentions, everything that we do ultimately acts against us. The world around us doesn’t make us happy and doesn’t provides us with pleasant situations. We don’t want to bring children into the world or establish families, nor do we see anything good about the future. And all this is because our ego has exhausted itself, and we no longer have any motivation to advance.

So, what is next?

The wisdom of Kabbalah reveals the whole picture of reality to us. It says that at present, we are at a crossroad in history where we must change our egoistic nature from reception to bestowal. This means changing our nature into one that is altruistic. We must come to realize the eternal Biblical principle, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

And so through a new covenant between us, we begin to experience a new picture of reality. We begin to attract the positive forces of nature because we ourselves create a positive society from ourselves.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains how to do this, so our task is to study this science.

Throughout all the thousands of years of its existence, the wisdom of Kabbalah has been the inheritance of only a small handful of people, the Kabbalists, who developed it from generation to generation. For many years this hidden science flowed within humanity like a small stream, although many scientists and philosophers: Newton, Leibnitz, Pico della Mirandola, and others, investigated it.

Plato and Aristotle took the basis of their knowledge from the wisdom of Kabbalah. The 16^th century German philosopher, Johannes Reuchlin, wrote a great work, De Arte Cabalistica (On the Art of the Kabbalah). This is to say that the wisdom of Kabbalah has been known to scientists, and yet, it didn’t go beyond their circle.

In our time, it has been revealed to everyone because it must explain to us how we will attain mutual connection between us.

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that our world is integrally connected as an analog system in which all parts are connected to each other. From our daily work we discover that this world is an absolute closed system. The still, vegetative, animate and speaking levels of nature are connected to each other and are found together as a single complex.

If this is indeed so, we need to reach complete harmony in the connection between us in order to reach a good and beautiful state.

How can harmony like this be reached? For this we must develop a good connection. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, the moment we begin with the right circuits of interaction, we will immediately feel how we attract a higher positive energy onto ourselves. This will not be the negative egoistic power that exists in our world and in which everything is based upon opposition and blows, but its opposite. This is a positive energy that fills, supplies, strengthens, and connects us to each other and creates a single whole.

This general harmony will be like the unified power of nature, the great global system, this sphere within which we exist.

The general crisis, which is in fact a product of the disharmony between nature and humanity, will then disappear. We will feel the universe absolutely differently, as eternal and whole. We will merit that eternal and complete existence and our world with its ego will begin to gradually disappear from our senses.

I hope that the present generation will understand what opportunities are in our hands, and how we can truly overcome the crisis in a good and beautiful way. If we are able to do this, we will reach the better, higher state that is intended for humanity.

Ten generations pass from Noah until Abraham (ten always refers to the total level of recognition, development, and complete growth). During this time Noah’s students mastered and assimilated his method, which means that they could control the attribute of bestowal, the attribute of Hesed, which the water symbolizes.

Water is the source of life of everything on this planet. An embryo in his mother’s womb is surrounded by water. Water is the major force in our world. The whole earth is actually covered by water. The continents merely stand out a bit above the water. The amount of water inside the planet earth and on the outside is indescribable! When we study other planets we first of all try to find out whether there is water and oxygen there. But oxygen is also part of the composition of water.

The adaptation of the attribute of water (the attribute of mercy) enabled people to connect more correctly and to live in peace in ancient Babylon. There was the unity of one nation, one unique family, people who understood each another among the Babylonians.

Four thousand years ago when ten generations after Noah learned and fulfilled the attribute of Hesed, a community of ancient Babylon was established, a prototype of our current civilization.

It is actually thanks to the fact that the people of Babylon attained the good, right mutual relations in a peaceful state that the next leap was necessary in order to continue their development. It is because Adam and the twenty generations after him (ten generations from Adam until Noah, and ten generations from Noah until Babylon) discovered that humanity needed to attain the complete resemblance and equivalence of form to the Creator. The next phase of the ascent took place in Babylon.

Question: We have connections with many Jewish youth organizations. How timely is it to be involved with dissemination in a Jewish environment in our nation and how do we approach this?

Answer: I don‘t think that the prerequisites for this exist in Russia and in the Ukraine. The Jewish stratum of the population is still not concerned about questions of its nationality.

As long as the surrounding population has not touched upon this question, they don’t care about anything. But when a wave of anti-Semitism reaches them, then it could be that conditions for leaving will appear.

The fact is that the Creator will completely arouse anti-Semitism in all parts of the world to its greatest depths and will not let any Jews live in peace so that they will understand that physical persecution is conditional upon bringing them to carry out their spiritual mission.

After all,  without the participation of all the Jews of the world, the correction of humanity is impossible. We need to get them used to dissemination, study, and the implementation of this program. Otherwise there will not be success.

When we are talking about a general network in which each one of us is a node on a particular juncture in the network,  the Jews are specifically those small nodes (links) that have been actively participating in the work of this network for nearly two thousand years. They belong to the group of Abraham; they worked within the system correctly from the start but then fell from this level, which itself caused all of this.

Now this group must create itself again. By restoring the right connection, they will attract all the rest of the small links after them. And without the correction of the parts of the network that were once active, we cannot reach the correct and harmonious working of the entire system called the “soul” in which to reveal the Creator.

When the system is awakened, it searches for the problem. So then anti-Semitism appears. The connection network feels that its active parts are acting negatively and working against it.

So the anti-Semites are right when they see that the Jews, who are the inner part of the system, are the source of its malfunction. The negative association directed at Jews throughout the world must bring them to an awareness of their function within the system, and then they will begin to be corrected against their will.

The Bnei Baruch group was created among these parts that were acting incorrectly, trying to participate correctly in the work of the system. It follows that the anti-Semites will put pressure on the Jews of the world on all sides, and from within we will begin to explain to them how they must be corrected to transform into active positive parts for the entire system, meaning for all humanity. So with the help of both of them, the work will be carried out for the correction of the entire connected network.

Kabbalah is the science dealing not with studying our world but only with the forces that govern it.

The first person who discovered this system 5775 years ago was called Adam. The day it happened is described in the Torah as the day the world was born.

Prior to that, people lived like animals, engaged in satisfying their biological needs. Of course, they believed in some forces that helped, protected, or, conversely, harmed them. But this subconscious sensation is present in animals as well.

And suddenly, while humanity had no understanding of where everything comes from and for what it exists, a normal person of our world, Adam, began to reveal that he exists within nature, in a network of forces that govern him.

He called this network of forces the Creator, since he discovered that it created our matter and operates it.

That time marks the beginning of the wisdom of Kabbalah. This is why Adam is considered to be the patriarch of our world, and everything the Torah narrates comes from his personal attainment and is told from his perspective: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless, and void….” and so on.

Having made his discovery, Adam realized that the meaning of his life is not to simply survive on the Earth for a certain number of years, but to attain this network of forces, to rise to its level, master, and govern it. This is how one can ascend to a degree above our world and begin to operate this world, as well as that world, that system of forces, which become revealed to us.

Adam attained the upper world because he had a desire to rise to the level of the Creator. This is where his name “Adam” comes from: it means “similar to the Creator.”

He immediately felt the need to pass on his knowledge to someone. With his students Shem, Ham, and Japheth who were referred to as his sons, began the chain of those who attain the upper world through the method revealed by Adam.

He called this method “The wisdom of Kabbalah,” the science of receiving, understanding, and revealing of the upper world, the higher system of governance.

Externally, Adam was an ordinary man and it is unlikely that his parents and the people around him were aware of his findings and revelations. After all, what he came to know, he revealed inside himself and only for himself. None of the others had any idea about it. This is why Kabbalah is called a “hidden wisdom,” because every person who attains it reveals it only for himself or herself, and cannot convey it to others.

While physics, chemistry, and all other natural and exact sciences can be conveyed to everyone and taught to others so they would be able use them, it is impossible to communicate Kabbalah. We can only teach another person how to change himself in order to be able to feel the next dimension: the higher system, higher degree, the upper world. When a person starts to feel this, he is called a Kabbalist.

Attainment of the next dimension gives a person the ability to learn what he is living for because the nature that he reveals emerges as the one that is governing, determining, permeating everything with itself, and indicating to everyone where it is leading him and what degree of development he needs to reach. It becomes clear to him that the entire path that he is obliged go through (because here, there is no freewill), he can accelerate by directing himself.

Imagine that you are sitting in a wagon, which is being propelled forward by unmanageable horses, they carry you over bumps and potholes in an unknown direction, and in any moment you can fall into an abyss. This is our life.

Yet it is possible to make it so that by sitting in the front you pick up the reins, knowing exactly where you need to head. There will already be a modern GPS in your hands and you can calmly move toward a quick accomplishment of the ultimate goal, going around all the bumps and potholes.

The meaning of Adam’s illumination, and after him, of all the other Kabbalists, lies in the fact that a person is given the opportunity to reach quickly, independently, and comfortably the final goal of creation, and also to teach the rest of the world how to do it. This is what Adam started to do.

Question: Millions of people read and study the Torah, but what are they looking for if the Creator can only be found in the connection between people?

Answer: Their study is not in vain. Any study of the Torah helps a person advance and enables him to clarify things. Millions of people both religious and nonreligious have studied the Torah in many ways: the Bible, the New Testament, Islam and Christianity. Any form of studying that is somehow connected to the Torah, whether directly or indirectly, helps people advance and prepares humanity for the right connection, for correction, for the revelation of the Creator to all the created beings.

Everything that happens leads to certain outcomes. All the religious struggles and wars in the past and those that are going on today were meant to clarify the right spiritual vessel. It isn’t clear why our desire to receive has to suffer, but it is a fact that the afflictions a person undergoes develop him.

How many people die each day and what terrible diseases are revealed! New viruses will appear in the world to which modern medicine will have no answers and it is all in order to clarify the right desire.

After all, it is impossible to advance towards revealing the right desire unless you are totally disappointed of the previous desires. You are disappointed not because you cannot fulfill these desires but because you want something more meaningful.

If I suffer now, the pain doesn’t enable me to sin because I have no desire, no power, no time left, or the opportunity to do so. The afflictions force me to feel disappointed of the state I am in and to start clarifying the taste of life and of my existence.

I cannot reach the question of “what is the point of my life?” without sufferings. All the extremist streams that existed in Christianity in the past and which are rising in Islam now are meant only for this purpose: to clarify the taste of life. By demanding that the whole world accept their religion and putting their flag in every continent they are fighting for the purpose of human existence.

It is all the subconscious clarification of the thought of creation. At the moment they are clarifying it this way, but we who study Kabbalah must allow them to advance by the Light that Reforms.

This Light is revealed in our desires. If we draw the Light and begin to reveal it sufficiently, it will begin to flow from us to the rest of humanity since all the souls are connected, like connected vessels. Then they will begin to clarify these questions on a totally different level.

Then the extremist Muslims will not have to fight the corporeal bodies and will try to understand more deeply the meaning of life. In the meantime they are looking for the answer to this question by killing one another, but we can raise them to another level of clarification, to the next level.

Then they will understand that the issue isn’t bodies but desires. This clarification will be by the connection to the source of life, to a state that the Light comes from, that we all have to attain. We have to illuminate this way for them and show them that it exists, that it is open for everyone, and that the clarification is actually by the connection between different people, actually between those who are most distant and different.

Thanks to their connection above all the differences and covering all the sins by love, they will discover the upper force, which means that they will attain a deeper meaning of life.

It all depends on us. We only have to teach humanity how to connect in order to discover the Creator in the connection among us. This is the goal we are fulfilling when we organize conversation circles for the public all over the country. Thus we will be able to express the power of unity rather easily since the Israeli nation has been in this state in the past. Later this force will spread from us to the other nations.

Then we will suddenly discover that the moment we manage to connect the nation to the wisdom of truth, which means to connect thanks to the Light that Reforms, the world will suddenly calm down: the wars in Iraq, the Ukraine, and in other places will stop and so will phenomena like the Ebola virus, etc.

Our whole life will work out since we will bring people to a state in which the Upper Light will begin to clarify their desires and they will not need to clarify them by killing each other. Those who can draw the Light are only those who study the wisdom of Kabbalah.
