Question: Why have events, such as the revelation of The Book of Zohar in the sixteenth century in the time of the ARI, always been a turning point in the development of humanity?

Answer: It is because everything should as if sit above the common egoism, like a rider on a horse. Universal egoism is like a horse, and the level of development of a person who should connect with the upper force is like a rider.

Therefore humanity, developing at the bottom, comes to some stage, for example to the time of the Middle Ages, which was very turbulent internally with serious development that broke through a little later.

The Middle Ages is not a frozen state as it may seem to us. It was characterized by the rebirth of humanity from the level of “animal” to the level of “human.” Practically to this day, we are still reaping the fruits of our internal transition to existence within the framework of a rigid family, social, and religious way of life.

When a person breaks through this framework and, like a volcano erupts, nothing can stop him except his own limitations, which he is beginning to recognize today.

Only now do we come to the fact that the breakthrough that was made during the time of the ARI, that lava of the “volcanic eruption” that occurred in the Middle Ages, freezes and again feels like inanimate matter to us. We no longer know what will happen next, so today we come to Kabbalah.

Question: Does it mean that humanity had to make this transition in the time of the ARI?

Answer: Yes. Therefore, the ARI represents a completely new stage from which humanity can already enter the correction, the attainment of spirituality. Before him, Kabbalah was banned; the Kabbalists themselves hid it. This inertness has remained to this day.

Question: It turns out that we are 500 years behind, right?

Answer: No, this is not being behind; rather, this is gradual adaptation. At the time of the ARI, humanity was not ready to accept this because at that time the breakthrough of industry, arts, and science had just begun.

It seems to us that allegedly the church or the ruling power, or some other reasons held back development. It is not so; just at that time human egoism was at a small level and did not require more.

When it broke through from the animalistic level to the human level, then all development began, including Kabbalah. Then, in principle there was the method of correction of the ARI, which today we are beginning to implement. We are the first generation that begins to realize it.

Question: The women are dividing into tens now and they often meet on Zoom® and connect between them on the phone. But there is no effort to disseminate. It seems that they are trying to imitate the men’s work and not do what you advise them to do, to grow stronger in dissemination.

How can this be changed? How can dissemination become the preferable activity in women’s tens?

Answer: I do not know how to endorse this.

You need to understand this from the structure of the general vessel that we learn about. If there is no unity between us or if our unity is not aimed at expanding outward, we will not be able to receive anything.

We are the upper part, the head of the vessel, called GE (Galgalta ve Eynaim), which includes Keter, Hochma, and Bina. The other part of the Partzuf is called AHP (Awzen, Hotem, Peh), and it is made of the lower part of Bina, ZA (Zeir Anpin), and Malchut.

We can receive the light from above, from the Creator only to the extent that we are integrated in the desire of the lower vessels.

So, the desire in the lower part of the vessel has to be precise, a deficiency from the lower vessels (from the people). But if there is no such basic desire, we will not receive anything from above.

It is very simple. You cannot do anything without the right desire, without wanting to correct something. We, the upper part, only prepare ourselves for the correction so the correction will help us feel the lower part, the desire of all the people in the world, and then we will be able to raise their desire to the Creator.

This is how we work.

This is the reason we are called Israel, Yashar-El, straight to the Creator, whereas they are called the general body, the general vessel.

They cannot correct themselves in any way. Only we can correct them. Without them, there is nothing for us to correct. This means that the connection with the Creator can only be if we take their desires first and raise them upward, then we will be able to be in contact with the Creator.

So without dissemination there is no hope that the Creator will relate to us in any way because all our work stems from the desire for the goal of the creation that we received from above. Why has the Creator given us our desire? So that we will format ourselves and begin to raise the desire of the rest of the vessel to Him. Then we will really be in our right place, serve the Creator correctly, and become His servants.

But if we do not use the desire to the Creator, which was given to us in order to turn to the world and connect with their yearnings and their sufferings and raise them upward, there is no need for us because we cannot ask for ourselves.

All our requests can only be in order to connect the world to the Creator. It is only for this purpose that we exist.

So, do not hope to attain the Creator, to reveal Him, to be in contact with Him, if you do not begin to raise the uncorrected, shattered desires of the world to Him.

Comment: Baal HaSulam says that all of humanity and all of nature that we are a part of is one mechanism in which every cogwheel impacts another. The goal of the wisdom of Kabbalah is to bring all the cogwheels to a certain balance so not to harm others but to bring them pleasure.

My Response: Imagine billions of cogwheels that do not turn separately but turn as one man in one direction or another at the same time. At the same time! By that a force that raises them is formed. They do not turn separately, but each one turns together with the others and by doing so they begin to feel the Creator who is external to them.

Question: The nations of the world reach a state of bestowing in order to receive, while the nation of Israel, which means people with the points in the heart, i.e., with the question about the meaning of life, work with an intention in addition to that.

Does this mean that by doing so they constantly change their intention and by that dictate the general direction to all the nations of the world? Is there some kind of click? If so, when does it happen? When does the nation of Israel begin to turn everyone in one direction?

Answer: This is not happening yet, but we hope that soon we will be able to do it. This means that all the people who aim at the Creator will attain a state in which they will begin to feel each other and search for the Creator by mutually cooperating between themselves. Then we will succeed in everything. The whole world will feel our mutual harmonious motion and will cling to us and thus turn.

What is more, humanity will begin to gradually exit the mechanical turning and reach the next level, the feeling of the force that is external to the cogwheels, i.e., the level of the Creator. This is called an ascent to the upper world. This is the reason that the key to this level is in keeping the rule of love thy friend as thyself.

This process begins with a personal, individual yearning for this state. If we begin to do it, we will soon reach mutual cooperation between us. We will feel the contact we are in, and how this cooperation raises us, how the Creator stands behind us, and how we already begin to enter His feeling.

Question: Why are nations of the world, who do not belong to Jewry by Halakha, drawn to the Kabbalistic method, and Jews are ready to do anything but Kabbalah?

Answer: First of all, nations of the world feel that there is something special, concealed, I would say fundamental, in Kabbalah.

In principle, all religions, beliefs, everything that a person can imagine about spirituality originated from it. “What is there outside of our world, outside of material life, those short years that we exist, outside of this small globe on the surface of which we are spinning like little bugs? Is there something in other dimensions, in other spaces, in other sections?”

These questions concern everyone. And practically all answers are tied to Kabbalah. Therefore, people are of other beliefs or religions do not get answers there, but they must believe and follow some traditions. No more than that.

And Kabbalah not only explains this to a person, but it takes him and raises him to a level at which he begins to see and feel a new dimension, exist above time, space, and movement, above what is our universe, our world.

Naturally, Kabbalah is becoming in demand especially in our time when as a result of the development of mankind we have come to a more or less mature state and we understand that our world ends there. And then what? The science of Kabbalah answers exactly this question.

Question: In Kabbalah there is a law of the general and the particular that says that in each generation there are single individuals who achieve the Creator’s plan and are the first to reveal Him. And the general is that sooner or later all of humanity must achieve this.

What is the purpose of Kabbalists relative to humanity?

Answer: In our world there are scientists who reveal various laws, and there are those who then develop these laws in their technical application. In addition, there are people who by using these applications already build some kind of device, machine, and so on, i.e., they bring this law to everyday application.

It is the same in Kabbalah. There are researchers (I also belong to them) who on the one hand are engaged in research and trying to raise themselves above our nature and penetrate higher. On the other hand, according to the call of the time, they are engaged in bringing Kabbalistic knowledge to the level of beginners who want to study Kabbalah.

Today a Kabbalist is no longer one who once lived in isolation and made small corrections in the world through himself. Today a Kabbalist is a person who must grow both up and down: upward to attainment and downward to teaching.

Question: Therefore in our time, a Kabbalist cannot sit somewhere, isolated? He should convey this method to everyone?

Answer: Yes, we are trying to do this. This is the call of the time, without Kabbalah humanity will plunge into another dark period, and we must not allow this to happen.

Now Kabbalah is available to everyone. Everyone who wants must have access to it so that he has the opportunity to understand it correctly, easily, and pleasantly, to adapt to himself, to rise above this level, to find his real spiritual, eternal realization, and to attain the purpose of creation. In this a person will feel himself in absolute harmony.

Question: Is this what a Kabbalist asserts by knowing the roots and the purpose of creation?

Answer: Of course. The egoism of each person who is satisfied with the most simple things today will drive him to these questions anyway. He must reveal for himself the whole of creation.

Question: The current tendency in the world—where a person does not tolerate any limitations and wants to go out into space, into some other ranges—is this a sign of egoism that cannot be restrained?

Answer: Yes. But we will gradually see that the desire to break into space, to break into some kind of a journey, to just break in somewhere, does not satisfy us. We will start looking for deeper exits, how to get into the inner layers where we really feel ourselves in infinity.

Question: Why do Jews and the nations of the world come to the question of the meaning of life in different ways? The peoples of the world come to it from more of a quiet life, when everything is good for them, they have everything, and the Jews from suffering.

Answer: This comes from the fact that the nations of the world reach satiation and discover emptiness in themselves.

This is how ordinary egoism develops: it tries to fill itself all the time and because of thousands of years of effort concludes that it cannot be filled. What to do next? There is no reason to live. As a result, there is oblivion in drugs, suicide, divorce, in general, anything.

In addition, they are driven forward simply by curiosity, the crisis of all sciences, the insularity of this small world.

As for the Jews, it is very difficult to return to their original state again because of their complex internal hierarchical structure, which they absorbed and stayed in for 3,000  years. Because the spiritual tower they created in themselves and lived according to the laws of love and feeling spirituality now has turned within them into the opposite.

As a result of spiritual attainment, visions, sensations, all this turned into religion, into dogmas, into the mechanical fulfillment of the commandments, as in other religions that took their foundations from Judaism. They say that for the simple physical fulfillment of traditions, you will receive a future world after death and you do not need anything else.

But in the end, we see that the nations of the world will put pressure on Israel until they force it to turn to Kabbalah, reveal it for themselves, show an example to the whole world, and then teach this.

A person has no right to leave a correction without completing it totally. All those remaining desires that could not be corrected in the previous generation for some reason come to light in the last generation, and we are obliged to correct them.

Where are Joshua, Moses? Where are all the great leaders: Rabash, Baal HaSulam, the Ari and thousands more? They are not here. But everything is arranged exactly in such a way that the Messiah comes in a generation in which either all are the great ones or all are the lowest ones.

We fit the second definition, as it is said: “The face of a generation is like the muzzle of a dog.” But since we have come to this, since they are pushing us to this, then we will do it. I have no doubt about that.

Comment: It’s easier for you, you grabbed hold of it and that’s it, you went ahead!

My Response: No, you are wrong. First, I cannot show anyone to what extent I myself am nobody and nothing. On the contrary, I must demonstrate confidence, understanding, and openness.

If Moses, Joshua, all the prophets, and all the great Kabbalists behaved in this way in their states, then what is there to say about us! We need to do what we are given. And it doesn’t matter that maybe you’re not good at it. Be that as it may, you need to go forward: “I tried, and this is what I did.”

In all our primary sources, it is written that all of humanity should unite into one single collective image called Adam. Then we will rise and reach the level of the upper force, the Creator. We should exist in this state.

Our earthly state takes only a short period of our historical existence. No more than that.

If a person has a desire to understand the meaning of life, then it is impossible to hold him back. He sees that his existence, no matter how sublime and fulfilling it may be, ends. It is temporary, limited, which means that it initially costs nothing. He feels that the scope of his horizon is higher and wider than this life, and therefore, can no longer look at this small circle.

Those people who believe that they understand something and thereby limit their requests, show their inconsistency themselves. By the way, I would not say that opposition of Kabbalah prevails now. Of course, somewhere there are still smart men who say that, but in general, we have already outgrown it.

Former opponents of Kabbalah realized that it was impossible to talk about it publicly, and now they themselves teach Kabbalah and sell books. Today, in any religious store you can buy books on Kabbalah, and forty years ago I could not find them at all.

Comment: On one hand Jews must present the method of correction to the world, and on the other hand, today the nations of the world are more interested in Kabbalah.

My Response: If a person has an aspiration for the Creator, then it does not matter who he or she is. But, of course, there will be more non-Jews in this business. In terms of mass, it should be so, because everything goes along the pyramid.
