This is the key difference between our organization and all the others. This point is the very first and the very last. The very first because we start our own internal preparation from it, and the very last because we come with it and want to grow it within our listeners. Therefore, it is always present inside the flow in which we conduct workshops, discussions, answer questions, and so on.

This is a clear direction to make the students into one single whole because in this form they will connect to us, and they will be balanced with all of nature. This is the most important task that defines our methodology and the desired result.

By participating in this, people pass the upper energy through themselves and feel how it fills them, they live by it.

Question: Does it mean that in an ordinary enterprise the motivation is mainly financial, but here it is spiritual?

Answer: There can be no financial motivation here. A person should receive enough in order not to feel any special needs. If his head and all his life are dedicated to the spiritual goal, then it is enough for him to provide his family with a normal living standard.

When he works in a good team and his family does not put pressure on him with any increased demands, then this should completely satisfy him and even give him a feeling of happiness. Inner fulfillment will extinguish external needs.

Answer: If people want to discuss something in accordance with the integrality of nature, then first they need to learn the rules of the workshop, compliance with the rules of behavior in the circle. At the first workshop, they are usually given questions for discussion to reveal the nature of man. “What is the basic essence of a person?” “Why do I love someone and not someone else?” “Does it come from your inner qualities or because I am so bad and he is so good?” And so on.

Through discussion people themselves come to the conclusion that each of us is an egoist. This is a statement of the fact of our nature. Although physiologically we are all animals, there is an additional component in us, our egoism, which is evil in everything. So, this is already a diagnosis. But is there a cure for it? What do we get if we get cured?

Maybe, thanks to egoism, I’m rushing forward, ascending, rising, exploring, my eyes are burning, I want this dish, this partner, this vacation, etc. And without it, what is the taste in life? Which means, the ego has positive and negative sides, and they need to be balanced somehow.

At the same time, we do not destroy egoism in any way, but only use it correctly in order not to lose. Where it harms me, I will make an inversion in using it and rise to a better outcome. And where it helps me, why not? If, looking at you, I envy that you are so athletic, then I also start running in the morning. Or, looking at someone smart, I start learning. In these cases, egoism is our helper.

Our attitude is neither yogic nor anything similar to that, where everything is put on the suppression of the ego. We do not suppress or annul it, but only use it correctly. And then it turns out that there is a medicine inside egoism, like in a snake: both medicine and poison.

Question: In the article “Time to Act,” Baal HaSulam writes that many books of the Jewish people were written by those people who were recognized as Kabbalists and were in comprehension of the higher worlds. Answer: Because for 1,500 years the Jewish people existed on a spiritual level. Answer: Yes, but in those days, selfishness was still small. Answer: Yes. Of course, spirituality cannot be revealed. But you can set up a person so that he wants to reveal it. The movie industry is capable of this.

Question: Why can a single individual attain a perfect state before all of humanity, but at the same time still depend on humanity for attaining perfection?

Answer: The point is that you can attain perfection only when you tie yourself to all of humanity because you must do it in order to bestow. This means that you want to work with the intention to bestow only for the sake of humanity. You cannot bestow to the Creator, there is nothing you can bestow to Him.

If you want to please a woman, for example, treat her child nicely. You do not need to do anything else. It is the same with the Creator. This means that if a person wants to get close to the Creator, there is no other way to do it than by getting closer to all of humanity. By doing so he brings the Creator closer to them and thus he himself gets closer to Him.

Question: What does the quality of one’s life depend on?

Answer: On the number of people, I have brought closer to the Creator. It is to this degree that I have gotten closer to Him. This determines my quality of life.

Question: Today, interest in Kabbalah is awakening among the nations of the world. Is this a consequence of the fact that Jews have been in exile for a long time?

Answer: No. Interest in Kabbalah would have awakened in any case.

In principle we need to look at humanity as the same Babylon that was under Abraham and Nimrod, as the same two camps, one of which has delved into the use of egoism, reached the bottom today and sees that there is nowhere else to go.

This was predicted in ancient times with an accuracy of up to a year. As it is written in the sources, since 1995 the world will begin to feel absolutely clearly that this is a dead end. It is true that awareness by different circles of humanity occurs gradually because it depends on many natural causes. But in general, we see that it has really worked that way.

On the other hand, the group that developed according to the method of Abraham also went through its own difficult path. Ten tribes partially dispersed throughout humanity and the two remaining tribes also gave their assimilation.

But in principle, today everything is ready to embody the spiritual methodology, which was not implemented by either the followers of Abraham or the followers of Nimrod. Today both parts of humanity are still in a misunderstanding of what is happening to them.

And only a small core of Kabbalists inside the tribe of Abraham, inside the Jews, represents that grain, that key of salvation that exists among mankind. It is they who should offer this methodology to the world.

Today they perform exactly the same way as Abraham once did in ancient Babylon, offering it to absolutely everyone. Now there is no separation, as the whole world more or less feels the crisis and needs a method of correcting existence.

Question: How do you see the development of Kabbalah in the near future?

Answer: Now there is a process of accumulation, an accumulative process, as a result of which the world will begin to see clearly and realize it is in a vicious circle of its development and nothing new is happening except for the aggravation of all processes.

There is no way out of this state since we are guided by the egoistic nature, which turns any achievements of humanity into vicious use.

Unfortunately all this passes through us, and people will still have to realize that this process is based on our egoism and our consumeristic attitude to everything.

We need to somehow change our nature, otherwise we will aggravate our condition continuously. Even if we exit it, for example as a result of a world war, we still will not exit egoism, we will still spin inside it, simmer in hatred for each other, swear and fight among ourselves like boys in the yard. So we need to realize this.

The science of Kabbalah explains the whole process, the entire program of nature; therefore, we must reveal it to humanity, and then on the one hand we will nevertheless see its light under the influence of blows and fate, and on the other hand under the influence of our explanations of how to arrive at a truly perfect, good life.

I would like to see such a development. But in principle everything lies in our choice, in the choice of all mankind, as Baal HaSulam writes in “The Last Generation” and other articles.

Question: Why have events, such as the revelation of The Book of Zohar in the sixteenth century in the time of the ARI, always been a turning point in the development of humanity?

Answer: It is because everything should as if sit above the common egoism, like a rider on a horse. Universal egoism is like a horse, and the level of development of a person who should connect with the upper force is like a rider.

Therefore humanity, developing at the bottom, comes to some stage, for example to the time of the Middle Ages, which was very turbulent internally with serious development that broke through a little later.

The Middle Ages is not a frozen state as it may seem to us. It was characterized by the rebirth of humanity from the level of “animal” to the level of “human.” Practically to this day, we are still reaping the fruits of our internal transition to existence within the framework of a rigid family, social, and religious way of life.

When a person breaks through this framework and, like a volcano erupts, nothing can stop him except his own limitations, which he is beginning to recognize today.

Only now do we come to the fact that the breakthrough that was made during the time of the ARI, that lava of the “volcanic eruption” that occurred in the Middle Ages, freezes and again feels like inanimate matter to us. We no longer know what will happen next, so today we come to Kabbalah.

Question: Does it mean that humanity had to make this transition in the time of the ARI?

Answer: Yes. Therefore, the ARI represents a completely new stage from which humanity can already enter the correction, the attainment of spirituality. Before him, Kabbalah was banned; the Kabbalists themselves hid it. This inertness has remained to this day.

Question: It turns out that we are 500 years behind, right?

Answer: No, this is not being behind; rather, this is gradual adaptation. At the time of the ARI, humanity was not ready to accept this because at that time the breakthrough of industry, arts, and science had just begun.

It seems to us that allegedly the church or the ruling power, or some other reasons held back development. It is not so; just at that time human egoism was at a small level and did not require more.

When it broke through from the animalistic level to the human level, then all development began, including Kabbalah. Then, in principle there was the method of correction of the ARI, which today we are beginning to implement. We are the first generation that begins to realize it.

Question: The women are dividing into tens now and they often meet on Zoom® and connect between them on the phone. But there is no effort to disseminate. It seems that they are trying to imitate the men’s work and not do what you advise them to do, to grow stronger in dissemination.

How can this be changed? How can dissemination become the preferable activity in women’s tens?

Answer: I do not know how to endorse this.

You need to understand this from the structure of the general vessel that we learn about. If there is no unity between us or if our unity is not aimed at expanding outward, we will not be able to receive anything.

We are the upper part, the head of the vessel, called GE (Galgalta ve Eynaim), which includes Keter, Hochma, and Bina. The other part of the Partzuf is called AHP (Awzen, Hotem, Peh), and it is made of the lower part of Bina, ZA (Zeir Anpin), and Malchut.

We can receive the light from above, from the Creator only to the extent that we are integrated in the desire of the lower vessels.

So, the desire in the lower part of the vessel has to be precise, a deficiency from the lower vessels (from the people). But if there is no such basic desire, we will not receive anything from above.

It is very simple. You cannot do anything without the right desire, without wanting to correct something. We, the upper part, only prepare ourselves for the correction so the correction will help us feel the lower part, the desire of all the people in the world, and then we will be able to raise their desire to the Creator.

This is how we work.

This is the reason we are called Israel, Yashar-El, straight to the Creator, whereas they are called the general body, the general vessel.

They cannot correct themselves in any way. Only we can correct them. Without them, there is nothing for us to correct. This means that the connection with the Creator can only be if we take their desires first and raise them upward, then we will be able to be in contact with the Creator.

So without dissemination there is no hope that the Creator will relate to us in any way because all our work stems from the desire for the goal of the creation that we received from above. Why has the Creator given us our desire? So that we will format ourselves and begin to raise the desire of the rest of the vessel to Him. Then we will really be in our right place, serve the Creator correctly, and become His servants.

But if we do not use the desire to the Creator, which was given to us in order to turn to the world and connect with their yearnings and their sufferings and raise them upward, there is no need for us because we cannot ask for ourselves.

All our requests can only be in order to connect the world to the Creator. It is only for this purpose that we exist.

So, do not hope to attain the Creator, to reveal Him, to be in contact with Him, if you do not begin to raise the uncorrected, shattered desires of the world to Him.
