Question: What do you think is the most suitable genre of films for conveying Kabbalistic information: comedy, drama, or historical films?

Answer: I believe that everything that a person experiences can be suitable. It only depends on the idea.

Question: What genres do you personally like the most?

Answer: For conveying Kabbalistic information, I cannot imagine anything other than a conversation in the form of a dialogue or a monologue.

What else could it be? When actors are running around the stage, it does not mean anything. It all depends on what they want to convey. Therefore, nothing can be said in advance.

Comment: But the Torah is written in dramatic language. There are always some events occurring: wars, love, hatred.

My Response: It is not exactly what we think. We do not understand what is written in the Torah. It speaks about something completely different. It is a story that allegorically conveys the elevation of man above his nature to the level of the Creator.

Question: Why do you think that anyone who is concerned about the meaning of life can study Kabbalah?

Answer: I base my words on what happened in ancient Babylon where the Babylonian priest Abraham revealed Kabbalah to everyone. He recruited a small group of people that he began to teach Kabbalah to, rallied them into the so-called nation, and later brought them out of Babylon.

But this was not a nation, it was just a group that moved away from ancient Babylonian civilization. As a result, it should present the Kabbalistic methodology to the whole world.

Comment: There are people who would like to study Kabbalah, but while searching they turn to various rabbis, and are dissuaded in every possible way with arguments that only a religious Jew can study Kabbalah and a woman cannot study it at all.

My Response: What can be said about people who do not understand why Kabbalah was given to us? We must take an example from two historical figures Abraham and Sarah who taught everyone without exception. The Torah says so: “And everyone will know Me, young and old. And My house will be called the house of prayer for all nations.”

It is a great honor to speak about Baal HaSulam on his memorial day. This is a special soul that on the one hand is connected with the Creator and on the other hand is connected with us, which allows us to be nourished by spirituality through it. The spiritual stream flows through Baal HaSulam and Rabash to us. Therefore there are no words to express gratitude to the Creator for sending such a messenger to us.

Baal HaSulam said that he never talked about spiritual phenomena prior to attaining them himself. From this we can understand at what extraordinary height this soul was.

Before Baal HaSulam, only great experts of the Torah could be awarded the revelation of the Creator. But Baal HaSulam through his actions brought us that an ordinary person who wished to follow the spiritual path can be awarded adhesion with the Creator.

The time has come when all souls are coming so close to correction that the upper light influences them more and more. The most important thing for us who are at the foot of the spiritual ladder is to receive the correct guidance and the correct direction, which is what Baal HaSulam did with his articles, letters, the book Study of the Ten Sefirot, and the Sulam Commentary to The Book of Zohar.

If we combine all these sources and the methodology composed by Baal HaSulam on the basis of the teachings of the Ari and the Baal Shem Tov, we will begin to reveal the upper force to our entire generation until we bring all of it to the end of correction.

Then what is written will come true: “They shall all know Me from their smallest to their greatest, and My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” There will not be a single person of any nationality and race who would not know the Creator. Everyone will come to adhesion with the upper force.

That is why I am so happy to see among my students representatives of all the nations, of all parts of humanity. All of us, by connecting together, will reveal the Creator who resides within us.

The Creator gave this great soul an immense spiritual attainment. Then Baal HaSulam was able to share this gift received from the Creator with all the inhabitants of this world.

Baal HaSulam said that he was awarded a high spiritual attainment only because the generation was ready for it. It all depends on the generation. This was the beginning of the period of the so-called “last generation,” and therefore Baal HaSulam received permission to reveal the wisdom of Kabbalah, spiritual knowledge, and gave us a complete method of spiritual revelation. Now we can use it, and we will certainly reach the sublime purpose of creation.

Baal HaSulam writes that we have received everything we need and all that is left for us is to study this methodology, disseminate it in all forms, and implement it. Through the love of friends we can climb all the degrees of the spiritual ladder. When we reach the love of friends we begin to understand what love of the Creator is. Before that it will be just an abstract fantasy with no basis.

Only by connecting together from our unity do we understand what we need to do in relation to the Creator. After all, we already have a Kli in which we attain who the Creator is, what it means to bestow to Him, and in general, what bestowal is. Therefore the most urgent task is to try to come to the love of friends, through which we will be awarded all spiritual degrees.

Question: How is it possible for the strong and the weak to realize themselves in the same way in our time?

Answer: Only by revealing the general system of our interaction through attaining the wisdom of Kabbalah. Today, if we reveal to mankind the system we exist in, like in science fiction movies, suddenly Boom!, and it is revealed that you are inside some space that affects you, and it turns out that you are under the influence of some forces that hold you and do not allow you to rush anywhere, then from this moment onward we would become good kids.

Comment: But we do not yet see this system of forces.

My Response: To do this we need to disseminate Kabbalah in order to reveal this system with its help. A person who studies Kabbalah suddenly begins to feel it, and by feeling it, he becomes different.

There are no coercive measures here, no illusions or mysticism. He begins to see the forces that stand behind matter, organizes it, holds it, and connects us. By clearly seeing this system of forces, he involuntarily behaves correctly in accordance with nature. It is not that one politician invented something, then another one or someone suggested something or something seems to somebody today.

We need to reveal the truth of nature, and from there we will learn why we are created in this way each with certain properties and background, why everyone should optimally realize himself in a certain way and not in another way. Then everyone will be happy.

The people of Israel were formed from those people who felt that it is their duty to connect in order to attain the meaning of life and its purpose, the correction of creation and the upper force. That is why they called themselves Israel (Yashar-kel), which means “straight to the Creator.”

Abraham chose these people from all the inhabitants of Babylon, that is, from all the nations of the world at that time, and taught them the main principle of connection: love your neighbor as yourself.

In this way, they rose above egoism, which is constantly growing and swelling by leaps and bounds in human society. This growth is purposeful in order to ensure a sufficient gap between the huge egoism of humanity and the power of connection above egoism, which society is obliged to achieve.

When we reach a certain degree of confrontation between egoism and connection, then within it we begin to reveal the upper force, the upper world, and us belonging to the spiritual world.

The growing egoism serves as an engine that lifts us from this world to the spiritual one, from reception to bestowal, from hatred to love. If we follow the principles that “love will cover all crimes” and “everyone judges according to his own flaws,”then individually and together as a whole group, we will be able to reach such a strong connection together that the Creator will be revealed within it.

Over thousands of years, the group assembled by Abraham in Babylon has changed a lot. Part of it has disappeared, dissolved, in the nations of the world, and is yet to be revealed. There were many in the people of Israel who attained the degree of the Creator to the extent of their ability to overcome egoism and connect.

Over the years, the conditions changed, but the principle remained the same because the laws of the world are constant and unchangeable. We just need to study them and fulfill them in order to reach the corrected state.

Therefore, we need to study the process that the group of Abraham went through in history, since ” the deeds of the fathers will become a sign for the sons.” From this we will understand in which direction we are moving, what is happening to us, and what signs of the deeds of the fathers can be seen today since the eternal principle of love your neighbor as yourself, the law of unity, is always in action.

From the Ari onward, all Kabbalists were saying that we have entered the era of the Mashiach, that is, the time of the end of correction. There is one last stage of our development left, which can be quite long. As always, the nations of the world are applying pressure on the people of Israel, and this pressure is designed to force us to unite, at least through suffering.

Jews must draw conclusions from their history and connect and take an example from the fathers. Through this connection, we will almost immediately feel the fading of external pressure because of our correct reaction to it and our efforts to connect.

Therefore, all the wars that are arising against us will immediately subside, because we will begin to advance by ourselves, without external pressure. If we ourselves reveal the forces for advancement and rush forward, then those who impeded us instead will begin to help.

This will be the correct tendency, in agreement with the single upper force, that wants to see the entire humanity in such unity.

If we do not make efforts to advance toward unity, then to the extent of the lack of these efforts, the nations of the world and negative forces within the people of Israel themselves will rise up and start fighting, confrontation from all sides, in order to awaken us and force us to make the right conclusion—to understand the reason for this pressure and what we should do.

Today we are in a very delicate, acute state. I spoke about this danger many years ago, but I did not expect it to happen so quickly and that already in our time such a special state would develop between all countries and nations all over the world.

We are living in the era of new technologies and global communication and have reached a certain inner understanding of things that are happening: the responsibility of man for the Earth and the entire Universe.

Nowadays, there are many highly educated people with a broad view, not as it was before. Almost everyone has the opportunity to travel around the world and see the life of other nations and connect with the entire world above distances and differences in languages.

Yet in the matter of anti-Semitism, we see that nothing helps: the law that advances humanity to connection acts harshly, one might even say cruelly. First of all, it puts pressure on those who should be the first to lead humanity as one nation that is obliged to do this work, to become pioneers on this path, and to lead the entire world.

There is no way to bypass this law. The upper light, the upper forces, are organized in such a way that as soon as the people of Israel, a group gathered during the time of Abraham from all nations, unite again, all paths open up before it. There are no obstacles; on the contrary, there are forces of nature ready to help them and lift them to spiritual degrees on their shoulders. After this all of humanity will be happy to unite.

This is how the upper governance is arranged and this is how it will be. Everything depends on Israel, as Baal HaSulam writes in the Introduction to The Book of Zohar, because only they have the freedom of choice.

Those who are aspiring to come closer to the Creator are called Israel. They feel obliged to bring themselves and all of humanity to a common connection and spiritual ascent. Any person in the world, of any nationality; black, white, red, or yellow; and all four layers in humanity; the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th; belong to one nation, which is obliged to reach unity and adhesion with the Creator.

Therefore, all over the world pressure on this corporeal group called Israel is growing, although they do not understand what is happening to them. After all, they have long ago left this work of leading themselves and the entire world to the adhesion with the Creator. Humanity, too, has not received the knowledge that the world is undergoing a purposeful development that leads it to complete correction and therefore does not understand the reasons for its hatred.

The Jews are confused and perplexed about what they want from them, and because of the great egoism, they only dream of peace and prosperity. The nations of the world feel that the Jews are concealing and hiding something from them, and not allowing them to come to a good life.

That is why these two groups feel lost in the dark, where the aggression coming from the nations of the world bumps into the hatred and fear that the Jews feel.

It is clear that this does not benefit either of them: great suffering awaits both those who commit violence and those who are stubborn and do not want to hear about correction. Therefore, it is our duty to explain the situation to both, and to push the correction process forward as much as possible.

Today we celebrate the memorial day of my teacher Rav Baruch Ashlag (Rabash). There were thousands of Kabbalists who lived before him and millions of people who dreamed of revealing spirituality.

But now all this work is focused on us and we must try to bring ourselves to the form of the so-called last generation so that we reach the spiritual level through faith above reason, the first association with the spiritual world with its forces and possibilities.

All of humanity is beginning to feel its dependence on each other both in a bad and in a good sense, both its dependence on terrorist groups hungry for war and on people who strive to unite.

We are all part of humanity and we are increasingly aware of our connection with each other. So far, this dependence is expressed in unpleasant forms, the pandemic, for example. But on the other hand, we are advancing more and more because we see that our connection comes from above as a necessary condition for moving forward.

Two great Kabbalists: Baal HaSulam and his eldest son, Rabash, created a methodology designed for the last generation, for us. Therefore, we are extremely grateful to these two Kabbalists and to the Creator who sent them to us. Rabash writes that if a group of people united by a common goal gathers together ready to annul personal interests for the sake of connection, then such a group is able to achieve the sublime goal even here in this world.

The more a person values the group, the teacher, and the Creator, the more he approaches the force of bestowal and reaches faith above reason. There is one main principle that operates here called “The Torah, the Creator, and Israel are one.”A person seeks to join the ten, which he organizes so that it becomes a place for the revelation of the Creator in it.

We must act in this world as messengers of the Creator, fulfilling the desire from above and helping it to be realized in humanity. After all, there is no such connection between the Creator and humanity that would allow people to feel the Creator’s intention. Therefore, we need to implement this connection, to rise to the spiritual level of faith above reason, and at the same time be within reason, that is, to serve as a transition between the Creator, the force of Bina and Malchut for the whole of humanity.

In this way, we will be able to shift all our forces and intentions to humanity, which will join us and rise with us together as a supporting force, the AHAP of the spiritual degree.

Of course, there is nothing new under the moon, and the concept of faith above reason was known to Kabbalists even before Rabash. But it was not clarified and explained in such detail as Baal HaSulam and Rabash did in order to bring this technique to practical implementation among the masses.

Rabash explained the method of Baal HaSulam in detail and expanded it in his articles. In fact, he took the entire spiritual path that a person should go through and thoroughly explained it. All his articles are like one fascinating novel explaining the spiritual development of a person and his ascent from the animate to human level.

We do not even understand what infinite depth Rabash’s articles hide. Only when we climb the spiritual ladder to the final correction will we be able to assess how this man has prepared the whole path for us and what supreme degrees he describes in his articles.

Question: Must a Kabbalist justify the actions of the Creator like world wars and disasters or should he try to prevent them?

Answer: Preventing or justifying these are different things. A Kabbalist must in any case try to prevent these actions and also justify them.

Question: Can Bnei Baruch prevent a third world war? Or must we justify this action of the Creator?

Answer: This depends on us: on how much our unity will be revealed throughout the world, on how much it will become a safeguard for the world protecting it from its egoism. The problem is that egoism is constantly growing and it ignites and invites problems like world wars. There is nothing to do here anymore. You see that Baal HaSulam wrote about the possibility of a third world war and even of a fourth world war. We hope that our actions will nevertheless prevent this and will make it possible for us to disseminate the method of unity throughout the world. Act! Act among you and around you.

Answer: Every person who chooses the path of light becomes its conductor into our world. Our world receives great nourishments, lights, and then more people subconsciously yearn for this path.

So, each person who engages in correction helps everyone ascend. He helps people understand evil before it is embodied in matter and thus avoid problems, blows, and many wars.

Comment: I recently spoke with a highly educated woman who said: “Well done to the Jews. They know how to control the whole world.” She expressed a feeling shared by many people that the Jews control everything. Yet in fact, there is no such control at all!

My Response: It doesn’t matter. People subconsciously feel this through some inner feeling.

Question: This is not about control, but rather a task that the Jews must fulfill?

Answer: That’s the problem: no matter what the Jews themselves understand, do, or feel, the laws of governance still pass through them, although they seem to have absolutely nothing to do with them.

Question: What is the Kabbalah Academy, KabU, doing to spread this information around the world?

Answer: We disseminate absolutely everywhere and to absolutely everyone. There are books and other publications in many languages.

Question: Should Jews living outside of Israel should also get involved in this? Or does it only apply to those who live here [Israel]?

Answer: The internal laws of the development of nature and society have led us to a state where we all together involuntarily begin to pass the upper governance through ourselves over animate, vegetative, and still nature.

In principle, today the Jews have, so to speak, fulfilled their role, and what they have left to do is only to pass on to and involve all of humanity in this process.

Question: Can we say that now all of humanity is in the period of preparation for entering the land of Israel?

Answer: Humanity is in a period of preparation from the point of view of how it is being prepared from above. But how does it feel down below? People are in a semi-conscious state that something is happening to them that they do not understand at all.

Nevertheless, we are entering the era of the last generation since there are already several thousand people who understand the meaning of what is happening and their task of taking on this mission and fulfilling it.

The rest will join, there is no conversation with them. After all, if a person does not receive awakening from above to reach the property of bestowal and love, you cannot demand anything from him, he remains at the level at which he is.

The same several thousand who understand the essence of what is happening can be imagined as Israelis approaching this border. They will be drawn from all over the Earth, as they say. Not that they will move here physically, but they will begin to rise internally and gradually create a detachment of pioneers who will enter the holy land.

Question: Will the whole world enter after them?

Answer: The whole world will not even enter. It will simply connect to them. But the division into Galgalta ve Eynaim and AHAP, into pioneers, trailblazers, and the rest of the population will remain.

It is thanks to the connection between this small group that the rest of humanity will inevitably be pulled up under it and gradually attract more and more upper energy, more light through it. In this way, they too will begin to change.
