Question: A person can feel his body when it hurts. What happens with the spiritual body?

Answer: Everything we feel in our world, we feel only from some kind of pain, limitation, pressure, and so on, even the most pleasant sensations. Feelings come from the sense of the boundary.

In the spiritual world, however, it is quite the opposite. I rise above the sensations of my body; for me this egoistic boundary does not exist.

As a result, I stop feeling my body and this world in general because I annul the egoistic boundary and rise above it into altruistic qualities. This world begins to gradually dissolve for me. I see it not as material, but as still depicted for me. But in the end it disappears completely.

I have no problem with this, let the imaginary world disappear.

The spiritual body is my qualities associated with others, that is, what I build on the basis of adhering and connecting with others. My spiritual qualities are where I can treat others the way that the Creator treats them.

In such cases, I am not limited as well. My spiritual body does not give me any problems.

My Response: First of all, my condolences of course. Second, the fact that your husband has physically died and is not next to you does not mean anything! Absolutely nothing! On the contrary, his connection with you is even stronger, only you don’t feel it to the extent that it exists.

Therefore please do not imagine him as missing, lost, or gone, but as if he is with you internally, mentally, and spiritually. And that is how you should treat him. Talk to him and talk to the Creator. Talk! Don’t do anything else! In precisely the way you want to talk, that is how you should talk. Both he and the Creator will understand you. And the best thing is that you speak in your simplest language.

Answer: It will have an even greater effect. If a person speaks from the heart, then the effect is greater.

Therefore, it is so necessary to spread the wisdom of Kabbalah, which explains the structure of the world and the purpose of its existence and discusses the possibility of achieving this goal in the only way: increasing mutual connection between all people.

Only in this way will we be able to come to a good life and not just live comfortably until the end of our days, and after us through the flood, but to achieve eternal life. No one dies, because there is no death; there is only a change in the form of our existence. Time after time, our form is renewed in many cycles of life.

People have always dreamed of eternal life. It is only out of desperation that a person tries not to think about how short life is and how much suffering there is in it. We have to start getting closer to each other; otherwise, the world has no future.

In this sense, a person is more unhappy than an animal because the animal does not know that it will die and does not make any plans for the future. A person knows that death is ahead and still continues to live and move toward it—a completely disgusting state.

What a relief it would be to know that life does not end and that there is life after death. Our universe is infinite and eternal. It is time to say goodbye to the communist idea that a person has nothing in life but an animal body. The animal body of course will die, but everything else in us, human spirit, will remain. We have the opportunity to correct our soul, our inner part, the non-disappearing human self, and belong to eternity.

Question: What does it mean that there are souls and that every soul has some kind of body?

Answer: Desire in itself does not mean anything. But its form, that is, what it strives for and what it wants to be filled with, determines the essence of the desire itself and the object in which it is manifested.

Question: Baal HaSulam writes, There are as many souls as there are bodies where the souls shine. What does it mean that “the soul shines in the body”?

Answer: The point is that desire, which determines the entire property of the body, can vary; it can decrease, increase, and take various forms and types. Thus, some kind of evolution takes place all the time, like a change in the form of desire in its size or in its character. In this way all desires differ from each other.

The inner desire is defined as the soul. This also determines what the essence of this object is and what exactly it wants—whether it wants to receive for its own sake, for the sake of others, to bestow for its own sake or for others, in what form, and so on. All this separates the souls from each other and makes them different in the distance between them in quality and quantity.

Fulfillment of the soul is called light. It turns out that if desires are filled with something, for example, with suffering or with pleasure, then this is called the light of the soul.
