Question: The idea of transforming the egoistic nature of a person into an altruistic one with the goal of achieving adhesion with the Creator looks beautiful.
But I do not understand how this idea can be conveyed to the masses? To whom? This is an educational process, not just something you tell a person and that is it. The educational process is in the hands of the exploiters, and this is not beneficial to them.
Answer: I think that the educational process of a general type, the one that spreads to the entire system of humanity, is in the hands of the Creator.
Therefore, Baal HaSulam and other Kabbalists write that we are obliged by all means to begin dissemination and lead humanity to this goal as quickly as possible, to explain to it what awaits us if we follow this path correctly and what awaits us if we act incorrectly. We have a clear instruction, and we must follow it.
There is such a force in nature that knows how to lead and develop humanity, we just need not interfere with it and rely on it.

Question: We evaluate everyone solely by whether they strive for unity. If not, then this methodology is not suitable for us.
But who said that unification is important and the goal of the entire universe? Why not some kind of abstraction, like an out-of-body experience? This is more important for another person.
Answer: I am not interested in what is more important for the other person. Everyone can make up whatever they want.
We believe Kabbalists, and this faith is confirmed by our knowledge when we follow their path and reveal the upper world.
They tell us that once we were one single whole and then scattered into pieces, meaning egoism tore us apart, separated us from each other, and acts between us as a repelling force.
But we have to cancel this force and reconnect. The moment we do this, we will immediately perceive the next level of the universe, the next world, called the upper, the divine, because it is above egoism.
Then we will already identify ourselves, not with our body, but with our common unified desire, which we have assembled from all the pieces. This common desire is called the soul.
Kabbalists explain to us how to do this and what we feel in the process. As for what comes to different people’s minds, so what can be done? This is where the disunity of humanity once began.
As Maimonides, the great philosopher of the XII century, writes, initially people felt that there is one single force. Initially, this was known to everyone. And then they saw that this force manifests itself through various actions in nature: wind, sun, and so on at the inanimate, animate and vegetative levels.
And people began to come into contact with these forces because they are closer to them than some abstract force called the Creator.
They began to worship the possible signs of nature, even to the point where they began creating idols, building temples, and making offerings. This is how religions and beliefs began to develop.
Thus, people broke away from the feeling of the one Creator, the single force of nature, and unification with Him and fell into the feeling of ordinary animate nature.

Comment: You once explained that there is a layer of souls that communicate with each other and actually interact on some spiritual level without even realizing it.
My Response: Yes, we do indeed exist on a spiritual level, but we just don’t feel it. Like, for example, a newborn baby who is born in our world, he is registered in all the records, many people are already working for him, supplying him with food, diapers and everything necessary, but he does not feel it.
But he is in this system. The system takes complete care of him, responds to him.
Similarly we are in the spiritual system, but we do not feel it. And the system responds to us and provides everything necessary for our advancement. However, in our case, everything depends only on us, on our desire.
Question: When transitioning to the next phase, does a person perceive the same thing in a completely different way, for example, the same layer of our conversation?
Answer: Of course, differently. He begins to feel the system in which he exists: how it responds to him, how he can influence it, what “he himself” means. He comprehends himself in relation to it.
Yet there is a difference for a person, whether he is an infant, a small child, or an adult.
Comment: Understanding this is a very interesting thing. In my opinion, only Kabbalah allows this to be done.
My Response: When that world, that universe in which we actually exist, is revealed to a person, it is the highest pleasure for him, which fills him infinitely! We are created by this light, this perception, this eternity, perfection, and harmony.
Therefore, today, when we are outside of it, our life represents absolute misery. But for lack of anything better, we are content with this, like a person born in prison does not feel that there could be something else. Try to release him from prison, he will immediately want to go back because he will not be able to orient himself in another world.

Question: What kind of awakening should we give to the Creator after expressing gratitude to Him?
Answer: You should always try to talk with the Creator. This is everyone’s duty. A person must check what kind of prayer he is sending to Him.
Even if a person does not address the Creator, some desire still rises from every heart to Him because He controls the entire world and each of us. Therefore, we need to control where our heart is directed and how it relates to the Creator.
Question: How can we combine different contradictory states and still control the direction of the heart?
Answer: This is a long-term work on oneself aimed at rising above the states that arise in your heart and directing them to the Creator.

Question: You said that I cannot achieve spiritual love if I do not feel rejected by others, right?
Answer: Of course, what will you build your love on? If you simply feel love for someone, then this is corporeal, carnal love or some earthly attraction.
Let us say you like a friend, a child, a woman, food, etc., i.e., all categories of our main interests. But this is not what we are talking about. You can build love only based on rejection from a friend.
Question: Let us say a friend for whom I initially have no feelings is sitting in front of me. I begin to strive for love, for unification with him, and in response to this, the Creator sends me rejection from him, right?
Answer: Yes if you really strive for a connection with him.
Question: Is my test that if I truly strive for connection with him, the Creator will certainly send me rejection from him?
Answer: Not right away. You will have to work with a friend, as is usually done in our world. Then, you will definitely begin to feel some kind of rejection. These are already spiritual sensations that are not typical of our world. You will even think: “Why did I suddenly hate him so much? I suddenly stopped liking this and that in him?” That is how spiritual qualities manifest themselves in him and you. Therefore, mutual rejection arises.
But if mutual attraction continues between you, and you embrace with pleasure, dine with pleasure, and communicate, then this is earthly companionship.
In Kabbalah, any connection is built only on rejection and hatred. Love is built by effort.
Question: What is the work of a friend regarding me at the moment when I strive toward him? Must he try to show me the same?
Answer: This is already difficult. Your friend may show that he is striving for you, or on the contrary, he demonstrates complete disdain. The Creator gives you all sorts of exercises.

The sensation of connections between us is called the world. The worlds themselves do not exist. We should not think that when we climb the spiritual ladder, we enter the first, second, or third floor. These floors do not exist; they are all within us, and we form them from our relations with one another.
Therefore, the word “world” comes from the word “Nehelam”—disappearing or approaching. That is, we are the ones who create the worlds, our specific relationships.
If they reach the above-egoistic properties at the first level, then we begin to sense ourselves in the world of Asiya. That is already a spiritual world, meaning a state where we can give and receive, but not in the same way as our world.
It seems to us that here we, too, give and receive. In reality, we only receive all the time since we are unable to give. Even if physically we give, we still pursue the goal of receiving. We can never do anything opposite to our original desire.
Therefore, everything that exists at the level of our world and in our state today requires correction. We have to establish connections between us where we always want to give to one another both in intention and in action, to fulfill one another and do something that the other one desires.
Thus we will come to the state where relations between us will begin to form the next world—a higher state where a property of bestowal manifests at the first egoistic level appears in us.
Therefore, there is more selfishness in everyone who rises higher. It is on it that he builds his relationships with others in giving to them and thus feels himself to be in an increasingly higher world.
He feels his existence in some property of bestowal, perhaps only to 5 to 10%, but this is already some revelation of the Creator. In this way, he begins to understand the concept of nature, its creation and origination, its development, and the transformations he and this nature go through. That is the way we go through our development.
