The Only Program of the Universe

226Question: Adam HaRishon had one program and the Creation had another. Are we starting to follow a third program?

Answer: No, there is only one program called the plan of creation (Machshevet haBriya), and it is constantly working. Depending on what level the souls (desires) are at, more or less broken, this program behaves one way or another. It is just like in a computer, there is nothing complicated here.

Question: Then why do we say that we are returning to the state of Adam? He did not have any egoism, did he?

Answer: There was, but it was hidden, which is why it shattered. Adam had everything. There is nothing new; there is only revealing data.

Question: Will we still have this egoism after the final correction (Gmar Tikun)?

Answer: Billions and billions of times more. Otherwise, how will we achieve a vast corrected state without a huge ego?

Question: You say, “Open your heart.” Who opens the heart first: the person or the Creator?

Answer: The Creator always opens a person’s heart, but this is already a response to a person’s prayer.

Question: Love should come from above when we feel friends closer than ourselves. How can we hasten this?

Answer: Try to relate this way to the Creator.

Question: What comes first: love for the Creator or love for friends? Do we come to love the Creator through the love of friends or vice versa?

Answer: You can do it both ways. Generally, we come to love for the Creator from the love of friends. We still do not know what love is, and we can mistake almost any good feeling for it.

Exalt the Creator

239Question: The nature of egoism contains the spirit of foolishness. Can it be avoided through internal work?

Answer: No, you cannot avoid it. The Creator specifically develops it in order to give you the opportunity to grow more and overcome egoism.

Question: Why does a person lose the importance of what the Creator gives over time? Why does the value of what is received decrease?

Answer: Because a person must constantly exalt the Creator in their eyes. If they forget about it, the Creator immediately falls in their eyes, and they have no one to turn to.
