Questions about Spiritual Work—158
Question: Is it right to remember good impressions from previous connections in the ten and use them to reveal new connections in a new ten, or should we start from scratch and not take anything from the past?
Answer: You do not need to start from scratch. Start with the good connection you already have with the upper and wish to strengthen it.
Question: You say, “Open your heart.” Who opens the heart first: the person or the Creator?
Answer: The Creator always opens a person’s heart, but this is already a response to a person’s prayer.
Question: Love should come from above when we feel friends closer than ourselves. How can we hasten this?
Answer: Try to relate this way to the Creator.
Question: What comes first: love for the Creator or love for friends? Do we come to love the Creator through the love of friends or vice versa?
Answer: You can do it both ways. Generally, we come to love for the Creator from the love of friends. We still do not know what love is, and we can mistake almost any good feeling for it.
