My Response: Yes, a mandatory condition for spiritual work is to be renewed every minute. In no case do not drag yourself from minute to minute. Leave your prior one in the past minute, and in the new one be a newborn, with new views, new tastes, a new attitude to everything.

Will I be able to or not? If not, then I am an animal that does not change during life, while a human changes.

Comment: But memory nonetheless exists. Many old people live in past memories.

My Response: This is given to us on purpose so that we suffer from how much, perhaps, we have done wrong to others. It is good if people have such remorse. But, in principle, it is necessary to live anew. I personally can’t otherwise. I just don’t agree with the fact that the day or some part of it, has passed just like that.

I have a schedule, and I have to follow it: lessons, blog, preparation for workshops, all kinds of meetings, five-minute meetings, preparation of materials for dissemination, for development.

Even if I don’t change anything myself, it still makes me change. In advance I put myself in such a framework that forces me to do this.

There is a schedule and I am in it. And inside this, of course, there are also my own thoughts and good impulses. How can they herewith not be renewed?

There are no manipulations in Kabbalah. Why do we need them if the whole system is intended as the realization of freewill? Therefore, it is forbidden to put pressure on a person, to drag him in clearly or secretly, no matter how.

Such tricks are possible only at the level of our world, in egoistic systems. After all, a special calculation is done for this.

Even when parents force a child, for example, to acquire a profession that he does not want, to become this or that way, or some state institutions force people to act a certain way under a fear of punishment, those who exert such pressure pay dearly for doing that. After all, here you are conflicting with the plan of the Creator to bring a person to the image of a “man”! It is horrible!

These people, these systems in the next generations will go through great earthly and spiritual suffering before they come out of this state, as they have limited others in their freewill.

Most importantly, a person must develop freely! Only then will he fulfill his purpose. One who limits the other will have to make a double correction. This is a terrible thing!

All of humanity is moving in this way on the level of our world. But in spirituality this does not exist at all. There a person is the master of his fate.

Therefore, the teacher does not ask the student practically anything, he only says: “Are there any questions? Ask.” Are exams suitable? No. Does he push anywhere? No. He only pushes his students into some actions that can continue to develop them, but he in no case dictates anything, it is impossible.

Question: How can a person not get stuck and not harden on the spiritual path so that he has constant movement forward?

Answer: The support of the group is needed here. A person himself cannot do anything, he will constantly forget about the spiritual goal. His animal component always aims for the stable: there is a corner with hay to lie down and sleep; there is a trough with bran or a bag of oats to eat. And he does not need anything else; he can stay in this stable forever.

In order to get out of a safe philistine corner, the support of the environment is necessary. No heroism will help here because it is necessary to make constant efforts to move forward.

The greatness of the goal is necessary here, which a person can get only from the approval of the environment; great desires are needed, and there are none. But when you look at others and see that they are burning, they have it and you do not, then jealousy, envy, and pride gnaw at you and lead you forward.

You hate the others for showing you their big desires, but that is what pushes you forward.

Question: Do Kabbalists define each other by name?

Answer: If I say that my teacher, Rabash, is the first disciple of his father, Baal HaSulam, then this says everything for me. I do not need anything else.

The same is true when I say that I am a disciple of Rabash, his follower, as though his shadow, then this is also enough.

Meaning, anyone who is interested in Kabbalah understands who I am, and it is clear to him what to expect from me and what questions to ask. He understands my essence.

Maybe this does not explain my achievements, because if I am his follower, it does not mean that I have reached his degree. But by what I do, how I teach, you can understand that I am at least at the degree that I teach.

My students and I do not study the degree at which I am. We are studying the degree at which I can teach them.

Question: How can one learn to treat a friend the same way Rabbi Yossi ben Kisma treated his disciples?

Answer: You have to be attracted to a friend. And although you do not see his inner essence yet, the upper light will come and do everything.

You have to imagine all the friends as big, united together, and only you are somewhere out there, outside of them. You need to pull yourself up to the high state they are in.

Question: We usually see friends from the side of the ego: “Well, who are they?” When will they actually become great in my feelings?

Answer: When you make a certain amount of effort of wanting to see them in this state.

And when you see them like this, they will immediately seem to you as being in an even lower state so that you will make efforts again and again. This is not a one-time, but a step-by-step movement forward.

They will always seem low and hateful to you, like the disciples of Rabbi Shimon who revealed such an attitude between themselves and each time reached a state of love.

Comment: You say that the main force of egoism is pride.

My Response: Yes, but it is gradually defeated throughout all the degrees.

Imagine that you have to love all the people you dislike the most from the depth of your heart, while at the current degree. Then even greater egoistic levels are revealed.

Meaning, at each degree a person must reach a state where he treats the world with understanding and love. He realizes his inner degree and moves on. And immediately an even greater negative attitude toward the world and hence to the Creator is revealed to him.

The Creator, as the creator of the world, shows us the world He created and says: “If you fully agree with this, then to the extent of your approval and love for what I have done, you can be next to Me.”

And who likes this world, not to mention the spiritual one? All the spiritual worlds are revealed as BYA de Tuma, that is, as unclean, evil worlds in which terrible pictures of injustice regarding human egoism appear before us. You must rise above it and see the exact opposite picture.

Here it is necessary to rebuild one’s worldview to the present, not a mental worldview where I compose this picture inside myself, but where I clearly see pictures of the world around me  that are revealed to me on my inner screen.

Love of the created beings is a springboard to the final correction, to the love of the Creator, and to the purpose of creation as the result of our spiritual development.

We reach the love of the created beings as a result of our work in the corporeal world, in a group with friends, from the desire to get closer to them, so that in this way we can come to the love of the Creator.

By working on the love of friends, we receive a special force, a special upper light, that influences us, corrects us and gives birth to the love of others in us, which leads to the love of the Creator.

Otherwise, we would not be able to reach love of the Creator because He is concealed from us and is beyond our sensory organs. We are not able to imagine the Creator and build an attitude toward Him in any form. Only if we come closer to friends and through all the obstacles, failures, descents, and rejections and we continue to yearn for the love of others, then in this way we will learn what the love of the Creator is.

After all, this feeling is completely unavailable to us. Just as the Creator is separated from us, so love for Him is not felt in us in any way. If we feel some kind of love of the Creator in ourselves, then it is an egoistic feeling. It is not love at all, but egoism under the guise of love of the Creator.

But due to the fact that we work together in a group, after a long time and a great number of states that we go through, as a result, we begin to feel how important love of friends is to us. Then a special force, a special attitude becomes clothed in this love of friends, which is the love of the Creator, and so we receive His nature, come to love and unity, exit our egoism, and come closer to the purpose of our development.

All this we reach with the help of the upper force. If we use it correctly, the Creator will make all the necessary changes in us so that we finally reveal a special attitude to the Creator in ourselves  called “love.”

Therefore it is written that there is self-love and there is love of the Creator, and there is a medium, which is love of others.

Through love of others we come to the love of the Creator. Therefore Rabbi Akiva said, “Love your neighbor as yourself is a great rule in the Torah.”

The Creator has arranged an intermediate station on the way for us, a state from which we can work. After all, love of others is at least to some extent understandable and palpable to our senses. If we make efforts to try to reach the love of friends, then in this way the upper light gradually influences us and leads us to genuine love of others, the ultimate goal and peak of which is the love of the Creator.

Question: When you describe the various states, you say that we have to go through them ourselves. Does it happen that you talk hypothetically about what awaits everyone, but you have not passed these states yourself?

Answer: No, how would I be able to talk about them?

Question: Does it mean that you have passed through everything you talk about inside and out?

Answer: No, not inside and out! I have not gone through everything that we read in the books yet. Where am I compared to their great authors?! I have not reached many degrees of my teacher, especially Baal HaSulam or other great Kabbalists.

But what I am saying comes from my feelings. From what else can I answer questions?

I have made particular progress in explaining the connection between our world and the upper world because this is what our generation needs.

The current generation needs the wisdom of Kabbalah in order to link its internal state, structure, and psychology with the upper world, with integral education and upbringing, with inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, and the state of “man,” with the development of egoism, crises, and with the influence of the outside world on us. We need to know how to organize a group that includes all of humanity.

I am constantly digesting all this in order to create such a good sphere around humanity in which it could find itself and begin to adapt to the general universe, to go beyond the human body and our five senses. I think this is the most important thing.

That is, I am like a point of contact between what an ordinary little person feels and at least the first spiritual degree to which I would like to bring him.

If I could bring a large mass of people to the first spiritual degree while I am still in this world so that it would work out like this, billions are in the feeling of our world, and hundreds of thousands are in the feeling of the upper world, and the rest are between them, on all levels, then there would be contact between the upper dimension and ours. And I have actually helped to create it. This is my dream!

Question: What are the chances?

Answer: I think there are chances. I am an optimist! As long as I live, I hope.

Question: Can it be that a person sees his qualities through me?

Answer: He sees through you, and you see through him. Thus, each of you has a mutual exploration of the world through yourself.

If the whole world were in you, you would be closed only in yourself, in your desires, and would not explore anything. You do not know yourself and you never look inside yourself because the desire is always aimed at capturing, bringing, taking, and absorbing in yourself.

When I see a huge world outside of me in which everything inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human are images of my desires, since they are outside of me, I am very clearly given the opportunity to explore myself. I explore the whole world, I absorb it, I want to know. Therefore, egoism is such a help for us.

When I begin to remake myself in relation to others who are outside of me, I actually change myself, my inner qualities, and desires from egoistic to altruistic.

But who do I treat like this if this is outside of me? The Creator.
