A New Page Every Day

219.01Question: It is generally believed that at the beginning of each session, it is important to briefly repeat what was said in the previous session. Why don’t you do this?

Answer: Because I don’t want a person to start a new page by repeating the past from the old page. He does not need that. He needs to come up empty. Empty!

In Kabbalah, it is not like in all other methods where they first repeat previous material and then go further. We start every day anew.

Sometimes it happens that we did not finish a topic for some reason. Then we might repeat a little. But in general, no. It is said about this: “Every day will be as new in your eyes.”

Remark: In conventional methods, in order to understand that students have memorized the material, it is very effective to have surveys, tests, exercises. You never check knowledge, you do not conduct tests or exams.

My Comment: I don’t want to force students to memorize. I want them to just feel that they have to change internally. Can I run tests on their internal changes?

Remark: Sometimes you give homework, but you never check it.

My Comment: What for? I believe that if a person wants to be my student, he must constantly think about what he heard from the teacher.

Information Is A Message

254.02Question: Any speech addressed to several listeners can be considered a public speech. It can be informative, entertaining, or promotional. Which of these can your daily lessons be related to? You do not just transmit information like at a university.

Answer: On one hand, my lessons are public performances because representatives of all nations, professions, and strata of different countries from all continents connect to them.

On the other hand, these are lectures because during a lesson we perform analysis of material with questions and answers. Usually, the lecture is held on a specific topic, which is divided into several small topics of interest to Kabbalah students.

Any information passes through a person’s desires and thus forms and changes him. My task is precisely for a person, by working on himself, to begin to change.

Question: But are you interested in him knowing the subject?

Answer: Sure. This is the most important thing. I teach not for gaining huge knowledge but quality of perception. The result depends on the person. And I must give everything I can in the form closest to correct perception.

Question: Does it make a difference whether one is listening to your lectures live or recorded?

Answer: It all depends on the perceiver. When reading books or watching recorded movies we can cry, laugh, worry. They affect us perhaps even more than scenes from real life.

Question: Indeed, a book was written a few hundred years ago and now a person reads, experiences it, and even cries. Is there some kind of energy in the book?

Answer: It is information, it is energy, it is a message!

Question: But when this happens online, does nothing really change? Let’s say we are talking now and someone will listen to our conversation in a week. Does it have the same effect?

Answer: It doesn’t matter. This information is in the air, and those who connect to it perceive it as if we are talking to them today.

In The World Of Infinity

537We do not have any attainment in the world of Infinity because all our attainment is possible only in the place that has an end. The sensation comes only at the border where everything ends. Therefore, in the state of infinity, we cannot perceive or understand anything.

It is as if I were thrown into the open cosmos and there is nothing but darkness, not a single ray of light, and it is not clear where the top, bottom, right, or left are. I do not understand anything, I am spinning in zero gravity and I do not feel where I am or what is happening to me. This is called the world of infinity.

The central point in the world of infinity is the point where everything ends: both desire and light. It is like a black hole.

Envy Increases Wisdom

629.3Question: What does the expression of the sages “Envy increases wisdom” mean? What is it about?

Answer: It means that when I look at the sages, my envy of them pushes me toward studying and learning in order to become like them.

It is written that “envy, lust, and honor take a person out of this world,” that is, elevate him to a higher degree than the one at which he is now.

Remark: Aristotle noted that people mostly envy those who are close to them in time, place, age, and fame.

My Comment: Naturally, after all, I cannot envy those who lived a few thousand years ago.

I must have some common levels of understanding and feelings with a person I envy. Julius Caesar or Tamerlane are too far away and incomprehensible to me. I have to imagine the object of envy, understand what I would feel in his or her place, and then I can envy.

Study Every Day

557Remark: All training systems and practices, in principle, are designed to enhance the perception of information. A person who can remember more information and then use it is considered smart. Such people are very advanced and make a lot of money.

My Comment: Earning money, getting ahead in our world, doesn’t mean anything. A person who has absorbed everything that was given to him and forgotten it is considered to be smart.

What does forget it mean? Ask me something. I don’t seem to know anything, I don’t remember anything. But as soon as we start to solve some problem, you will see that I really knew something, learned something. I’ve been studying all my life.

Remark: In order not to forget the information, it is useful to repeat the material from the previous day. You, too, always advise us to re-read the article covered in the lesson during the day.

My Comment: Yes. But this is short-term memorization.

Question: You also advise to study a little, but every day. Why?

Answer: Because the brain constantly absorbs a small amount of information. We must change the person. And if you don’t feed him like a small child every day, then he does not change.

If he comes to the courses every few days, then between visits you do not influence him, and he gets completely different impressions of our world. Therefore, daily activities are simply a must! It is said about this: “If you miss one day, you lose two days on it.”

Our job is to change the inner person.

Learning About Life

From A Passive Observer To An Active Researcher

239Two thousand years ago, the nation of Israel fell from its spiritual level to the corporeal one, from the intention of bestowal to the intention for its own sake. As a result, we have turned into completely different people, into a different nation with a new religion, a new outlook on life, and a different perception of reality.

Previously, we perceived all reality as one single whole in which one force acted, and we all belonged to it. But gradually, together with the collapse of the First Temple and then after a thousand years of the Second Temple, we began to move away from bestowal and unification into perceiving life as we see it today, that is, purely corporeally, egoistically, and recognize the unification of a man only with himself, but not with others.

Today we will have to make a lot of effort to return to the spiritual, true perception of reality.
We must understand that this perception of reality and intention is in conflict with what is accepted in all religions. Each religion wants to establish itself above others, be proud of it, and teach the same to the people who follow it. We, however, need to advertise a union that will raise us above all problems because they are all a consequence of remoteness, separation, and unfounded hatred among us.

If I perceive reality egoistically, care only about my own existence, see others from afar, and do not unite with them through feelings into one whole, then I see the world as it is today, in my five  sense organs.

But if I unite with someone else, at least with one person, for this I need to annul myself and then I will already begin to perceive the reality with different organs of sensation. These will no longer be the ordinary sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, but the Sefirot Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut.

I will see reality as single and perfect. It will already be a reality that does not exist within myself, but outside of me. That is, it will not be limited by my sensory organs. To the extent that I abandon my personal sensation, my desire to receive pleasure, for the external perception, for the desire to bestow, to that extent I will reveal the true reality.

I will reveal the light in the desire for bestowal, which I was able to build within my desire to receive pleasure, the form of bestowal and love, that is, the form of the Creator. From a passive observer of reality, I will turn into its active researcher. This is what the science of Kabbalah teaches us.

We must all receive the form of a spiritual Partzuf, which contains desire, restriction, screen, and reflected light. Then it becomes active, can bestow to the master, unite with Him, and attain Him, as it is written: “And you will be like God, and know good and evil.”

In religion, a person performs corporeal actions and wants to receive a corporeal reward for them. But we want to perform spiritual actions, that is, build a mutual connection, unity, up to love between us. This will be our reward.

The Most Efficient Action

938.07Question: What is the most practical, efficient action I can perform in the group?

Answer: At the moment, the most practical, efficient action is to gather in the group, listen to lessons, ask questions, and help each other understand the material that you study, and get a bit closer to each other.

Then the upper light will affect you and will circulate between you and you will begin to advance much faster.

Neutral Strip Between Good And Evil

232.06Nature obeys rigid laws, and if we follow them, we can live well, and if not, we get blows.

But the Creator gives us some time to choose freely in order to start acting and avoid being hit. He does not begin to beat us immediately, so as not to confront us with the inevitable, but wants us to understand and act consciously, from the desire to become like Him.

Physical laws act immediately, like the law of gravity.  If I jump off the slope, I immediately fall, without any time to think.

But in the spiritual world there is a system of Klipot that changes the laws of nature, creating the difference between good and evil, the distance between them. And therefore we can use this distance so as not to expose ourselves immediately to the blows, but to be able to connect with each other and avoid blows by warning it with medicine.

The medicine is Bina’s power that we can use. While in material nature there is no such force, everything is simple: either minus or plus. In the spiritual, there is a minus, plus, and their overlapping in the middle where we are included in both forces and can build a buffer zone containing both opposites.

This system, which includes two forces, is called “man,” Adam, because it contains the desire to receive pleasure and the intention to bestow, due to which we become like the Creator.

In the inanimate, plant, and animal world, which are studied by natural sciences, there is no such intermediate system. Therefore, science cannot comprehend the psychology of even an ordinary, earthly person and even more so a spiritual one. To understand a spiritual person, the science of Kabbalah is necessary, which explains to us how a person is arranged.

Everything that science knows about a human belongs to his animal level and is obtained experimentally. This allows us to create medicines for the biological body. But the human himself, his inner essence, is inaccessible for measurements by any instruments and is not subject to any verification.

Only the science of Kabbalah is capable of studying a person through instruments of the highest level, from above and not from below as we usually study inanimate matter, plants, and animals.

Therefore, in the current crisis, nothing can help humanity except for the science of Kabbalah and its methods. Until then, we will have to suffer. Therefore, we are trying to spread the knowledge about the method of correction in all possible ways.

17.01To Prevent Movement to Fascism

Remark: Jews, living in different countries, prosper in those places up to the point that discord breaks out between them and anti-Semitism flares up. Then they unite again through the suffering that unites them. And then fascism comes.

The great Kabbalist of the 20th century Baal HaSulam believes that the only way to disrupt nazism is through a religion that he calls altruism.

It turns out that the Jews, as a nation, are natural opponents of fascism in any of its forms. And subconsciously feeling this, all forms of fascism are against the Jews.

Baal HaSulam in the newspaper The Nation written in 1940, emphasizes: “He [Karl Marx] thought that the proletariat governance would be the subsequent step to the bourgeois governance, and hence determined that by negating the bourgeois government, a proletariat one would be established instantly. Yet, reality proves that the step following the ruin of the present government is that of Nazis or Fascists.”

My Comment: Unfortunately, we will see the emergence of fascism in America, in all developed countries, and in developing capitalist and semi-capitalist countries. This is a law of nature. After a developed state, society can either come to the realization that it is necessary to change its ideology or continue the line of fascism.

Question: In other words, in order to survive, people go to nationalism? We see that right wing parties and nationalists are coming to power in almost all European countries.

Answer: This will continue to deteriorate until the method of connection becomes apparent in the world.

Question: If these are the laws of nature, then no one is to blame, no religions. There is a single force that generates all these processes. And we, as observers, should notice all this and draw the right conclusions?

Answer: No. We can move all this forward, starting to unite on the basis of the true religion, the science of Kabbalah.

Thus, we will show all of humanity that there is a path that leads them to salvation from their own egoism. A path that not only makes our life in this world special, but also reveals the upper world, that is, the structure of society based on interconnection.

There Is No Problem That Cannot Be Solved

562.02Question: Do you think that all problem can be solved?

Answer: Absolutely any! It all depends on what level and how to solve it.

All of nature is determined by and obeys clear laws of light and vessel (desire). Decisions come from top to bottom and there are no surprises.

And although this is hidden from us, in general, there is nothing unknown in nature. However, we cannot calculate, as we study probability theory at the university, how high the probability of a particular decision is. Einstein also said: “God does not play dice.”

Question: That is, many solutions exist only in relation to a person? Is there really one clear solution?

Answer: Of course! Because the beginning and the end of nature are absolutely connected. But with respect to man, this unified nature exists in such an incomprehensible form that he collected it within himself and put all the cubes into one sleek pyramid.
