Question: The situation in the world is changing at a very high speed. Does the method of integral education also change accordingly?

Answer: In the world everything changes, but not with us. The issue is that all structures of matter are very rapidly moving to connection and unity, except for the human being, the highest level that exists in creation. And that positions all of humanity and each one of us, as an inseparable part of it, in an unpleasant situation.

The main law of nature is the law of balance of all its parts, and if we are not in balance, we suffer accordingly. The suffering is distributed on several levels. There are ecological problems felt more and more seriously: volcanic eruptions, typhoons, etc. It’s also the global ice age that is tirelessly approaching and already afflicting both Russia and Europe, judging by what’s happening with the climate. There are also political problems and, of course, mostly economic problems.

But all of this can be solved only through one method: the balancing of humanity with the surrounding world, with the entire system of nature.

We already spoke about this many times: If we begin to connect and unite on different levels, each one in his family, in his work place, within his area, in cities, in countries, and between countries; if we stop the “bustle” on the Internet and begin to seriously use it as a tool for our connection, for mutual understanding, then we will prevent all these problems and really come to a good level of existence.

Together with this, the still, vegetative, and animate levels of nature can quickly come to the correct order according to our advancement. Through our behavior, our mutual coming together, we will reconstruct and heal it. Everything depends only on us.

Thus, our main problem is to explain to people the meaning of the closed system in which they exist, and in what way we can influence it. We need to do this in the quickest and most efficient way in order not to perform unnecessary and harmful movements and to begin, as fast as possible, in the shortest and most effective way to implement the correction of man, of society, of the world.

What did we attain at the European Convention? First of all, we created between us a certain mutual understanding.

We assembled together as one European group. It isn’t important that the languages and in part also the mentality separate between us. It’s Babylon as it was 3800 years ago, when it disintegrated into separate parts. Today, we are that same Babylon and come together again, but it’s not to continue the Babylonian suffering. Rather, it’s in order to unite according to the method revealed to the world back then.

It’s as if we are closing the circle, returning to the same state. It isn’t important that instead of three million Babylonians today we have seven billion. It’s simply a further division of the general soul so that for each one of us it will be easier to correct his small particle. But essentially, we represent the part of Babylon that is ready for this correction. Our entire world Kli (vessel or desire) is specifically the “cream” that rises to the top and needs to be gathered and united, and then the correction of the whole world will take place.

I think we attained here such mutual understanding, and now we have some serious work to do: to realize our mission.

You will see how each of you will come to be in great demand, how each of you can become a teacher, an educator. People will clutch at you like at straws since they don’t understand the situation they are in and in particular, the method of correction that they will suddenly discover: “How can we unite? How do we sit in a circle? What should we talk about? How do we interact between ourselves? How do we discover the contact between us?”

Here we refer to fine details we feel from within because we live them, while to explain it to someone in a scientific or systematic way is difficult and very complex. Everyone understands that if a person feels something inside, that’s one thing, but when he begins to pass it on to someone else and the other person, who doesn’t understand or feel the material, repeats it only in a mechanical way, then that’s something else completely.

Thus, each one of you will be very much in demand. Begin to be involved in integral and virtual education and you will see how people will be drawn to you. Each one of you will be worth your weight in gold.

The Creator will turn to us only when we have a passageway to the external world, and not otherwise. This is written about in every Kabbalah book. This is how nature is created: by an open, complete dissemination system. And if through us there will be an open channel to the external world, then through it, the upper Light will pass and shine upon the world. It won’t stop in any place, only circulate and become revealed. If we don’t hinder but allow for an open channel, the Light will flow through us.

Question: Our work is divided into two types: work within the group and work for the 99% of humanity. Often, the combination of these two orientations creates confusion, and as a result, all kinds of problems emerge in the group. How does one need to work correctly with these two orientations in a group and maintain its integrity?

Answer: Everything relevant to the property of bestowal, to this spiritual property, is the opposite to us; so, it is not grasped directly, simply, and clearly by us.

I am sure that many of you have already passed through similar states. You study and participate in group events; generally, everything is sufficiently understandable and clear to you, and then suddenly, “Boom!” everything is blocked: You don’t know and don’t understand anything; it becomes impermeable, you don’t grasp anything. You can be found in a state like this for days or a week, and it could even be longer.

This is when the upper Light is acting and influencing us. Then suddenly everything begins to become clear, everything becomes much simpler and understandable than it was before; you read the same text and begin to understand it more deeply.

We need to adhere to spiritual laws, to the properties that don’t exist in us. And when our senses are dulled, this is when the upper Light, the Surrounding Light (Ohr Makif) is influencing us. At this time we are changed.

During this process of changing we don’t know anything; we are found in a state of stupor. After then, when the Light ends its influence, it is as if we wake up; light appears in our eyes, we begin to understand everything in a clear and good form; we begin to see everything better.

The same thing is happening to us now (I feel this in regard to all the groups) with integral education. In our minds this is still not working. We already understand that we need to move forward, to change ourselves, to place ourselves under the influence of the Light, but we don’t know what to do to introduce integral education, how to turn to the 99%.

This is a process that we need to begin to feel within us. It will slowly sink into us. We still think and talk about this and understanding will disappear for us again and again. Two or three months will pass. Look at how long we wait until a baby grows up, twenty years. The same thing here too, we must wait.

Today we are undergoing huge changes. Some of them pass quickly and some slowly.

I am sure that within two or three months, you will begin to describe to yourselves clearly where integral education is found, where the group that studies Kabbalah is found, how we need to relate to the 99% of the population, and how to relate to our friends, how to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah and how to disseminate integral education.

All of this will work out over time. It seems to us that we are talking about simple things that do not have anything complicated about them. Many of us graduated from college, studied for many years, but this doesn’t matter. The intellect will not help here. Anyway, it is necessary to continue to learn and be involved in integral education as well as the wisdom of Kabbalah.

First, you will have great confusion in your mind, then everything will begin to become clear. If you want to speed up this process, you need to be seriously occupied with both of them. If you are not occupied with this, nothing will work out. You will not attract the Surrounding Light onto yourselves.

It could be that you don’t have the possibility of being occupied with dissemination through the Internet, virtual networks, the blog, and so forth. So, begin to be involved with the translation of books; do something, get published, print and distribute flyers. But it’s best to work with the Internet, it is free. And if you produce something interesting, millions of people will see it.

Question: Have we reached the lowest point from the Creator?

Answer: We are at a doorstep of sensing the Creator. We can tell by observing what is going on in the world and within ourselves. We exerted enough, held a huge number of conventions, including the ones in the desert. We hope that this current convention, the upcoming Passover week in Israel, as well as our efforts that are directed to unity and mutual connection will become the last attempt and we will attain revelation.

We don’t know when it will happen. It always happens unexpectedly. It’s described in the original sources. Generally speaking, we are standing at the doorstep of a spiritual revelation. As a rule, it always emerges out of the darkness. The transition to the next step always takes place similar to the exodus from Egypt in the middle of the night or to the birth of a child who comes into the world out of nothing, from the darkness.

Let’s hope that we will attain revelation here and now. We have to stay alert, wait, and wish for it to happen to us every minute of our lives. Even if it doesn’t happen immediately, still my personal understanding and experience tells me that it will definitely happen.

By no means can I sign for it or pledge that it will happen since everything that occurs to us depends on the entire the world. That’s why neither I nor the greatest Kabbalist of the world are capable of predicting how and when it will happen. We are pioneers. Past Kabbalists were individualists; they revealed spirituality among themselves, in small groups, such as Rabbi Shimon’s disciples, students of the ARI, Ramchal, and Baal HaSulam.

Now, it’s our turn to transition to the next level. I can’t accurately predict the exact date or any specific conditions that will bring us to revelation. Nevertheless, we are at the doorstep, on the eve of entering a spiritual realm. Nine months of intrauterine development are over and the labor has already started. This is the state we are in at this time. It can last for a while, similarly to how a child moves slightly back and forth, and the mother senses this movement as birth contractions. We are already at this stage.

Question: Is it the lowest point from the Creator in respect to the humanity?

Answer: It’s the farthest point and at the same time it’s the closest one. After all, there has to be a difference of potentials.

On one hand, “birth contractions,” a huge tension and tremendous efforts, are inevitable. One may wonder, what is happening? But we know from everyday life that this is the way children are born. Everything will turn out well.

Question: How do we sense the life of this point: individually inside each of us or in the group?

Answer: It’s not a point any more. We will be born when we connect. Connection among us will be a construction consisting of ten parts, ten Sefirot—the first image of an infant that we will birth. This construction of ten parts has to have a certain structure: an internal tension and a huge power that connects all antagonistic, egoistic, desires together. A unity of complete opposites creates a “voltage” where the upper Light becomes revealed.

It’s a law of physics, a superficial molecular tension, nothing but that! We observe the same things in everything around us: in nature, in technologies. Any natural phenomena are built from opposites.

Our main mission is to unite between ourselves. We need to understand that this is our destiny. This is what has brought us to a science that investigates the nature of the world, the management of the world—to the science of Kabbalah.

As you know, the first book on this subject was written 5772 years ago by Adam. Today, it is up to us to disseminate this knowledge as quickly as possible to all of Europe, and certainly to the whole world. We must show that everyone passes through this process. We began a little earlier; we study it and understand what is taking place. And without learning and understanding, in spite of it all, the entire world is sharing in this.

We have already had the chance to be convinced about this: We are speaking about it today, and in another few years the world begins to approach our ideas and understanding; people here and there suddenly are beginning to say the same things. Although, in fact, nobody used to speak about connection and the requirement for human change and connection between people, today many speak about this. On the Internet network, there is already an enormous amount of material and writing; conventions and conferences have been held on this subject. This message is gradually penetrating humanity, and we are like the “brain” from which this influence comes, spreading signals and waves. These seem to spread below the surface, acting upon everyone.

However, we need to strive to do this much more rapidly, effectively, and consistently. This is our mission. And therefore we, who are found here, and all of our friends all over the world, including those who are not present here and yet are found in this convention together with us, must understand that it was specifically for this that we were led to the wisdom of Kabbalah.

At the time when I came to my teacher Rabash, I found myself around old men. Rabash was more than forty years older than me, and all the rest were around his age. There was nobody there less than 65, and I was 30 years old. I asked him.

– “Exactly what do I need in order to advance?”

– Rabash answered, “You need a group.”

I began to give lectures and to teach; I brought new people, and a group was formed.

– “And what else?”

– “Continue.”

I continued. I wrote books, organized lectures; I was always concerned about expanding the range of people. And so when Rabash saw that I was occupied with this, he transmitted the method of spiritual development to me. I saw this really clearly. Baal HaSulam also writes about what a person needs to do. It was very clear to me that the secret of all of my success in the wisdom of Kabbalah is to be found solely and only in dissemination.

It is impossible to reach discovery of the upper world alone since it is discovered through the right cooperation between people. Even though I am an egoist, an individualist in my manner, a scientist, closed in his own room (I am like this even today, my manner has not changed), in spite of all this, I must work with people. Since otherwise, if I had not actually been involved in dissemination, in expansion, in bringing people in, I would not have attained anything, I would not have discovered anything.

You know from all the Kabbalistic sources that nothing is discovered in one person; rather, it is only through his connection with others. This was once a small group. Today, since the world is completely different, an entirely different relationship towards it is required of us: We must be concerned about it; we must disseminate. For us realization of our connection through the method of Kabbalah is the inner work. And we need to disseminate that method in its external form—the method of integral education.

So, our mission is to help Europe to be integral, connected in a mutual form, unified. And our elevation depends on how much we invest in this dissemination, in this education.

Question: I would like to ask about a situation that can occur in a group regarding the dissemination and teaching of integral education.

Suppose there is a group of five people who have accepted the group charter and are trying to keep it, exhibiting love, etc., and there is me, a solid, educated, clever person who has graduated from courses of integral teaching and integral education and who can already teach others. I don’t have time to be incorporated in the group; I want to disseminate, but the group doesn’t support me. It turns out that they are holding me back. What should we do in such a case?

Answer: The point is that before the general global crisis started I didn’t speak about integral education at all. Baal HaSulam writes a lot about this and talks about this issue very seriously. He emphasizes that the revelation of the Creator cannot occur if the world doesn’t yearn for it, both the part of humanity that has the point in the heart and the part in which the point in the heart has not yet awakened. So everything depends on dissemination. I also saw how in the beginning my students didn’t quite grasp this idea, but I pressured them, and eventually they understand that first of all, we have no choice and that it is essential, and secondly, that it is true.

What would I do in your place? There are many groups around the world and some understand that we must disseminate and some don’t. The same thing happens in each group where there are some people who understand this point and some who don’t. In any case, the members of the group have to live in peace and allow those who want to disseminate and who acknowledge how necessary it is to do so. Those who still don’t understand should wait until they understand; they will see that all the groups are dealing with it and will eventually feel not only that they are interested in it, but also the need to disseminate.

The point is that when you begin to work for the general public, you feel great energy; you feel the meaning of life. It’s like becoming parents, since when we have children, we feel a new urge for life: You don’t live only for yourself anymore but for them. So, a group that deals with dissemination is always more lively. It turns out that first of all dissemination is important for the group itself. Let’s hope that everyone will gradually understand this.

Question: If we look at ourselves through the eyes of the physical world, we see how weak we are economically, socially, and politically. We lack the required position in the world. Based on this, how can we disseminate something?

Answer: I don’t know what kind of position there should be in the world when someone wants to disseminate something. Go to the Internet and you will see that this is an integral system in which you can do what you want. It was created specifically for dissemination.

Everything depends upon you. If you try to correctly offer your method wholeheartedly, according to what people want to hear from you, they will hear you. It’s up to us only to learn how to do this. No position is required to do this.

In 1995, I opened a web page for Kabbalah and then began to disseminate without asking permission from anyone. I published my first three books in 1983 while I was still with Rabash when I didn’t have any students at all. I regularly appeared on radio programs through which a multitude of people reached us. As of today, we have two television channels and we print newspapers for all the holidays. Therefore no special position is required here.

Question: How can we unite if within us we are beat and in total darkness? After all, the desire to receive destroys everything. How can we raise a prayer, a request to the Creator, if internally there is only hatred? What can we do about that? I agree that I have to be in a group, but in France it is quite complicated…

Answer: We are at a stage in human evolution where things are only starting. We are the pioneers, the avant-garde, marching before everyone else. It is of course very difficult. We can find people around us who think like us and who understand that we must somehow solve the problems but don’t know how. It takes time.

The question is whether we actually need people who think like us to be physically close to us. I have many students all over the world who work with us and help one another in dissemination. When we work together, it connects us. Thus we build a group, a community.

You may live in France, in a place where there may not be any of our students, and you may still be connected to us. You don’t have to be in direct contact with other people. It is of course important, but it is also possible to manage without it.

There is, for example, a guy in Switzerland who develops successfully without a group. A wonderful student! Ask him to share his experience with you; he is a role model for many.

Question: “I, the group, the world.” As long as this picture exists in our imagination, the world endures much, exactly as you said many years ago. But of course, this shouldn’t make us happy. It’s necessary to help people, to support them, especially in our European Convention…

Answer: I agree absolutely. First of all, we are commanded, “And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” If I must relate to people with love, how can I be happy about their suffering? Certainly, something like this simply cannot be.

And on the other hand, when we look at what’s happening, we need to hurry and dedicate as much power and time as possible to dissemination. I hope that we will speak about this at the convention. For it’s very important for us to bring the understanding to humanity that a very clear, very concrete, simple, and practical method exists. Already today it’s possible to implement it and to see wondrous results in a number of days.

We know how rapidly people are changed within the framework of integral education beginning from the first lecture, from the first workshop. If we can only give them the method, they will open their eyes and see how simple everything is. We are preparing ourselves for this, and we already have a few hundred people in various countries that are ready to be teachers and educators.

One way or another, the world will not work it out without suffering, but these will already be sufferings of love, when together with the force that pushes people from behind, a force also draws them forward. This is our obligation, our mission, to show them the way.

In truth, I already spoke about this state many years ago, and frankly, every day I expect that they will begin to hear us. Otherwise, undoubtedly the suffering will grow more and more. And in spite of all this, I have great hopes. Due to the communications media, due to the reactions of scientists and politicians, I see that the world has changed. They are already beginning to grasp the idea and understand that today we require a breakthrough, a new way.

Question: The better that the understanding of the world is connected to the manner in which the group learns, it unites internally. And in spite of all this our ego demands a payoff in the form of conventions, and in general, endless meetings. Has the time not come for a new level? For in a form like this we cannot continue to gather the entire world. Someone will always remain on the sidelines and will feel himself deprived. Has the time not arrived when every one of us, within himself, and simultaneously in another, will come to the thought that we are one whole, not only through mutual physical activity, but also with inner activity? We need to be together internally.

Answer: The world develops from simple “mechanics,” to electronics, to radio and to television, to computers, to a virtual network, and after this, to a spiritual network. Our mutual connection is coming closer and closer to its spiritual form.

Today the world is making a transition to virtual connection, to conference calls, to telephones and chats. And now we need to go out to such a level of connection so that the whole world will know our coordinates in all segments of the network and will have the possibility of connecting with us, easily and correctly.

We need to be accessible to everyone in this virtual form so that the person can find a group, a society, a new image of humanity, a correct connection between everyone. It’s necessary for everyone to understand how to go inward, how to be included in this collective, how to live in it, how to feel included in a mutual connection. The moment that a person will take a cell phone into his hands or turn on a computer, this virtual atmosphere will then embrace him, will draw him inward and begin to work on him, will attract him more and more towards new stages of development.

And in the end, artificial channels and lines of communication will no longer be required, for we will stretch wires from heart to heart. This will be the coming level, yet we cannot rise to it without preliminary communications through these networks.

Question: How can we come to feel the necessity of carrying out our mission and being united?

Answer: We learn about connection and unity in a group from all the essays by Baal HaSulam and the Rabash, why this is needed and for what. This touches upon both a person regarding the group and a group regarding all the others.

Today the world demands this. The world crisis obliges us. For if it didn’t exist, we would not think about it.

Our group once numbered 30 – 40 people. We learned in a small apartment, and that was fine for us. This was only 15 years ago; and I thought that this was how it would always be.

But at the end of the ‘90s of the last century, the world suddenly began to change. Many new people began to come to us, and we were compelled to move to another building. After that people began to feel a need for us, they began to appear in various countries around the world, and I arranged a lecture tour in 11 major cities in America. This is to say the world had changed.

So from the start, we planned to learn only in a small group, as it had always been customary among the Kabbalists. But when there began to be a move towards us from the world, and it began to show its need for us, we were compelled to change. So today, you have found us. But if it had been up to us, we would not have shown ourselves to anyone, we would not have gone onto the internet, we would not have been occupied with dissemination, for the Kabbalists had always been closed. But the world began to demand; its state had changed.

It is also the same thing now; the crisis obliges us. It is as if this were a condition: If you don’t correct it, why are you receiving the upper Light? Is it for yourself? There is nothing like this “for yourself” in the wisdom of Kabbalah, in spirituality. You don’t receive anything in the spiritual world for yourself. And so a prerequisite appeared for us—to connect between us, and along with this, to disseminate.
