My new article on Linkedin “Drowning in Migrants”

Europe seems to be drowning in a new wave of migrants from Africa. Italy, Spain, and Greece are seeing an upsurge in migrant numbers, new stories of migrant boats drowning, and new stories of entire towns and regions in Europe becoming “awash” in migrants. If the trend continues, in a few years, the entire southern shoreline of Europe will become Muslim. Migrants will swamp it, Islam will take over, and Democracy, precisely the ideology that has allowed migrants to settle in Europe, will be a thing of the past there.

It will not stop in southern Europe. Despite some resistance, the same scenario will unfold in central and western Europe. The Muslims who have come there since the beginning of the wave in 2015, and those who have been there for twenty or thirty years, have formed a comfortable cushion for newcomers. They will not need to change their culture, as did the first immigrants who moved into Europe some thirty years ago. The new migrants will feel very much at home among their fellow Muslims, and the native Europeans, both secular and Christian, will succumb to the newcomers’ takeover of Europe.

Regrettably, the mandatory education program that I wrote about years ago has not been implemented to this day, and as a result, the situation now is even more dire than before. However, there is still time. The only way for Europe to avoid a transformation into a Muslim continent is to employ mandatory education on everyone who comes there before they come, and on all those who have come recently. That way, those who are unwilling to change will not be allowed to migrate, and those who do, will know where they are coming and how to conduct themselves according to the European spirit of democracy and socialism.

Another crucial element that must pervade through the educational system that Europe must employ is the concept of the oneness of humanity. People must understand that we are interdependent, that a problem anywhere is a problem everywhere, as the coronavirus demonstrated all too well over the past year and a half.

Today, understanding our mutual responsibility is the most important since our lives depend on understanding it. If people living in conflict areas will understand that the conflicts between them will not be solved by war, that they must form unity above their differences, yet without eliminating those differences, they will transcend the problems that plague the world today. If they do not understand it and struggle with each other to impose their own beliefs on others, it will demolish everyone, losers and winners alike.

In an interdependent system, where everything is part of the whole, the well-being of one part affects the well-being of the entire whole. Think of a ball full of air. As long as it is full, you can play with it and enjoy it. But if there is a tiny hole in the ball, the entire ball becomes deflated and completely useless. This is how we need to think of humanity. If Europeans can teach themselves this simple truth, they just might be able to save their home and become a prosperous continent once more.

We must connect all the opposite parts of creation and connect with the Creator. But first, we must discover these opposites in the entire creation and be convinced that it is impossible to connect them together.

Only because we are in this corporeal imaginary world can we imagine that two parts of creation can connect. But gradually, this deception will be revealed.

This is what happens today when we find that we cannot get along with each other, we cannot get close and be friends. We tolerate each other only out of necessity, subconsciously making an egoistic calculation that it is more profitable to live in peace, or we simply will not survive. But this does not mean that we complement each other and use our oppositeness to our advantage.

We still have a lot of work to do to find out that any detail of creation that we are able to distinguish is revealed to us only through the presence of the opposite quality. And so, day by day, we will find ourselves in an increasingly broken world.

And although we are already accustomed to such an existence, we must admit that our whole reality is completely egoistic, that no one supports another, and that no one wants the others to exist in the way they want to.

So, we come to the revelation of complete separation from which we will begin to elevate ourselves: we will reveal the necessity and benefit of the shattered desires, and we will want to bring them closer and connect them correctly.

Only by the right combination do we bring the whole creation back to the correct, good connection. Then people will stop becoming increasingly disconnected and galaxies will stop spreading apart and distancing from each other, because thanks to the right connection, everyone will find a place within others. This is the way to achieve correction of creation.

The Creator deliberately collides opposites so we would need a third force to connect good and evil, right and left, any contradiction at all levels and in any form. This third force, that is, the force of the Creator, is revealed as reconciling all opposites.

We will see how hatred in our world is growing day by day. All connections that people have established until our time will now begin to break, crumble, and expose our separation and hatred.

This revelation will be so substantial that it will become clear that we cannot establish connections between us on our own. There is only one upper force that prevents our connection and the good existence of all of humanity, of every family. Relations between countries, between people, and man with himself will explode, revealing the shattering more and more so that it becomes obvious that only with the help of the upper force is it possible to connect everyone and cover all crimes with love.

Yet, we do not know how to do this because, from the point of view of our common sense, it is illogical since it is above our degree. Only the wisdom of Kabbalah explains how to make such a connection, come closer to each other, and establish peace so that humanity does not crumble and scatter in different directions like animals fleeing from beatings.

Question: Should our children already exist at a new, spiritual stage?

Answer: In principle, yes. But we lost our generation, we didn’t make it in time.

Question: What does “lost our generation” mean? You said that a person in this generation has not yet had internal requests.

Answer: There were such requests, but we ignored them. We felt that we should suppress them or implement them in some other way. We created all kinds of toys for ourselves: television, fashion, public opinion, all kinds of computer things. This, of course, can’t take us to the next level.

Question: So man developed all the means in order to adapt them to life in this world?

Answer: Not only. After all, the spiritual world is also in our world. The person just didn’t want to change. He did not want to understand that he had to change, not the technology around him.

And now, having changed all the technology, we are finally beginning to realize that it has brought us nothing, that the huge global crisis in all areas is pressing on us, and that health problems, ecology and everything that threatens us, all require primary reforms.

Obviously, it should not take place in the outside world. I think we have already realized that we cannot cope with this in any way. This reform must be within us.

People don’t want to turn inward yet. But I hope that our activities to disseminate Kabbalah will still affect them and they will change. We cannot even imagine how the slightest movement toward our change, in cohesion and harmony with nature, will change absolutely the whole world, our children, us, and will give inner harmony in everything.

Comment: You sound so confident about it.

My Response: I just know this system that works in both worlds. This is not mysticism, but a clear control system. Therefore, I speak as a person who has been practicing Kabbalah for 35 years.

I see that many people come every day and will come to this, and in the end we will change our existence.

Kabbalah is given to change this world, not to fly away somewhere in your imagination. And then we will see our children happy and joyful, and not with Ritalin, depression, and drugs.

For the people of our world, the rule “love your neighbor as yourself” is so disgusting, boring, already tried, and does not attract anyone.

In reality, love your neighbor implies a state where we unite together like small dots, small elements of the universe, into one single mosaic, into one single picture, gathered into one system, and we start working with each other in it like cells in a common body.

And then, from a dead organism that we are today in separation, we turn into a living organism.

If you cut off pieces from the body and divide it into elements, it dies. Therefore, you must collect them. To the extent that you try to do this, the Creator breathes into you the light of life, the spirit of life.

It turns out that we need to yearn for each other, for a universal mutual connection. We will thus restore our common body, our common soul, by connecting with each other.

Question: How do we yearn for this?

Answer: On one hand, we are driven by evil, emptiness, disappointment in this existence, fear of what will happen tomorrow, and disappointment with the kind of world we leave to our children.

On the other hand, from this emptiness inside, an aspiration for something appears. A person begins to feel: “I have been pulled toward something! There is a vector in me that works that looks for something.”

This was not the case before. This is happening right now, in our generation. Together with emptiness, with general depression, there is also a quest, an aspiration for something. A person begins to realize that all this is not as it is and that there is something, somewhere, waiting especially for me.

Our current state has been specially adjusted for us so that we can get out of it and move on. Therefore, our generation is a transition.

Comment: Now a generation is coming into the world called the coronavirus generation. Analysts believe that this generation will be familiar with free money from the state and have the desire to receive an unconditional basic income. They say there will be a lot of emptiness, drug use, and longing in this generation. We are bringing into the world a generation about which we speak in advance as “lost.”

My Response: It is not our fault. It is nobody’s fault. This is the order of development, this is the evolution of our desires.

To begin with, this generation does not have such desires as we had: to achieve something, to be someone, and so on. This athlete, that writer, this rich man—there is no such thing anymore! There are no desires whatsoever for anything. There is no special ambition.

But I hope that at the same time with the feeling of emptiness, they will begin to feel a radically new filling of giving, a loving attitude toward others.

I cannot fulfill myself, and I do not want to. I am already detached, I no longer have any of that in me. I am too lazy, I do not want to get up or do anything, I do not have anything for myself. But toward others, I can develop such qualities in myself that when I fulfill the other, I begin to feel that it makes sense. There is a desire in it, there is a fulfillment in it.

Question: So, now I am blocked from anything that concerns fulfilling myself directly? Life for myself is blocked for me from all sides.

Answer: Yes. Man has simply spent himself. And here he begins to understand that by fulfilling others, he can fulfill himself. This is a kind of self-filling, but of a different type.

Question: That is, by loving someone else, giving to someone else, I fulfill myself?

Answer: Yes, I fulfill myself. But the point here is that you have to come to a state where you fulfill the other not in order to be fulfilled yourself, but because you want to be in the other and feel and enjoy his fulfillment, and not to think of yourself, absolutely not! Otherwise, you will be back to where you started from, just like in a circle.

I think people will be able to realize this quickly. That same egoism will lead us to this, which is interesting. It buries itself and brings out another type instead.

The masses will come to this from the inevitability, from suffering, from the feeling of insignificance, worthlessness, emptiness. Like how we came to Kabbalah. Only with them it will be more prominent. Because it will be a massive sense of the end. And through this end, through this void, they will see the light. Through the thorns to the stars, from the darkness to the light.

Question: That is, it is necessary to completely destroy everything, practically lay a man down, and then he will see a way out of this state?

Answer: And at the very last stage, when you are completely done, “that’s it, the end!”—that’s where you start to see: no, this is not the end, this is just the beginning! It will be so.

Question: But this is inhumane. And what does the word “humane” mean to you?

Answer: I think that the demolition of both the past regime and the method of filling up the ego is the greatest humanity that the Creator could do, when He exalted man with all his egoistic impulses, goals, and conceit, and then gradually, time after time, century after century, destroys, again and again, all this in man, showing him how unreal it all is.

But we will be able to realize this only at the very last stage.

Question: Galina writes to us: “In every video you talk about merging with nature. It is monotonous and depressing. Everyone understands that you need to be friends with nature and protect it. This is like from a course in biology and zoology. Are there any other ways or methods to defeat evil?”

Answer: Dear Galina! I do not mean the kind of nature where there are birds, grass, and so on.

I mean the inner nature of a person. We need to reveal this nature, to reveal what it is, how mean and dirty it is! We need to wash it, clean it, of all egoistic relationships between us, and start using it in a different way. What I mean is that we need to be connected with the correct nature.

Merging with nature means revealing the feelings of love, mutuality, and support in the connection between us. In this way we will connect with the foundation of nature, with its internal force, which we call the Creator.

My new article on Linkedin “Coexistence with Arabs? We Can’t Even Exist with One Another!”

The current wave of violence has exposed the fact that the coexistence between Arabs and Israelis within Israel was an illusion. There were economic benefits that both sides enjoyed, but the hatred has festered all those years until a trigger set it off. The painful truth that the riots of Arabs in Israel exposed is that they hate us no less than the Palestinians in the West Bank or in Gaza. The numerous lynching attempts, that miraculously have not taken someone’s life, yet, the burning of Jewish homes, synagogues, businesses, cars, the shots fired into people’s homes, and the stoning of cars on highways leave no room for doubt: The days of tolerance are over.

If we want to stop the violence against us, we must rise above our mutual hatred. Our military edge can buy us time, but if we don’t use the time we are given to build brotherly love above all our differences, the time will run out and we will suffer calamity after calamity until we learn that there will be no peace with our enemies until we make peace with one another. But when we achieve this, we will have no enemies.

Yet, anyone who knows the message of our sages, knows that they do not attribute our woes to our oppressors. Our sages do not attribute the ruin of the First Temple to Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon, although he was the one who destroyed it. Instead, they attribute it to us, to how we treated one another. They explain that the bloodshed and slander among us brought upon us the conquest of Nebuchadnezzar.

Similarly, our sages do not blame the Seleucid Empire for the war against the Maccabees. They blame the Hellenists, the Jews who insisted on installing the Greek culture and belief system in Judea.

And most notably, our sages don’t blame the ruin of the Second Temple and the two millennia long exile on the Romans, who did the physical conquering of Jerusalem and destruction of the Temple. Rather, they blame it on a single culprit: baseless, unfounded hatred among us, Jews.

This truth has not changed since. We bring our woes upon ourselves. When we hate each other, the nations hate us. When the Talmud, for example, explains the reasons for the ruin of the First Temple, it writes that people would “eat and drink with one another,” yet “stab each other with the swords in their tongues” (Yoma 9b). Moreover, the Talmud further states that “Even though they were close to one another, they were filled with hatred for each other.”

Why do we expect things to be different now? Why do we think that the verbal swords we use against each other today won’t translate into physical knives and guns now? The fact is that this is what is happening. As then, so now.

Therefore, if we want to stop the violence against us, we must rise above our mutual hatred. Our military edge can buy us time, but if we don’t use the time we are given to build brotherly love above all our differences, the time will run out and we will suffer calamity after calamity until we learn that there will be no peace with our enemies until we make peace with one another. But when we achieve this, we will have no enemies.

Comment: In Italy, four craters of Mount Etna have awoken and also volcanoes on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia, Mount Sinabung, and in the northern Kuril Islands, Mount Ebeko, and before that, the Kamchatka giant, Klyuchevskoi, woke up. Now four volcanoes are carrying ash into the atmosphere at once.

There is a danger of a volcanic eruption in the heart of Europe, in Germany, in the area of the volcanic fields of Eifel. This would stop almost all of Europe.

They say that if one volcano starts really becoming active, then immediately the chain joins. And there are 20 large, giant volcanoes in total.

We dream about something, we quarrel, we play war games, countries argue with each other. And suddenly the eruption of only one volcano or several volcanoes, and that’s it! That is, we are nothing on the surface of the Earth! And no one can predict when this volcano will explode!

If humanity felt this, would it change?

My Response: No! Why would it change?

Comment: You begin to feel that everything you do is such a small thing, and you need to somehow have time to do something good, to have time to love.

My Response: Why? If not this time, then the next time when the volcanoes erupt into the sky, everything will disappear. Between these two “puffs” in the atmosphere to have time for something? For what?! Sit, drink beer, calmly wait for what will happen to happen. And that’s it.

Comment: This is one of the positions. But even this position would end an active nuclear race, the active hatred of each other. Let them sit aloof. Maybe it would be even better.

My Response: Or we advance to the goal of creation, as Kabbalah says, in a serious way. And then, of course, every second is precious to us because we write ourselves in eternity! Or what difference does it make what happens and when it happens?

Therefore live quietly, drink beer, sit and watch TV shows, football. When one of these volcanoes or all of them together puff up their smoke, then that’s it, the shop will close. In the meantime, try to do what you can to raise your soul.

And what else is left?! There is nothing else! Only these two options.

Question: Does the fact that these volcanoes constantly remind us that there may be a catastrophe mean anything? Does nature speak to us?

Answer: This suggests that we find the reason for our behavior and the behavior of nature. We have to find the reason for all this. And then we will understand that everything depends on us, that we need to deal with ourselves in this way in order to calm the volcanoes.

It all depends on us! You can calm the volcanoes at once. But only together.

When we will be all squeezed into such a fiery circle, then maybe people will hear. Let’s think well of each other and of all nature. Let us restore order, balance between ourselves, and balance between ourselves and nature. Let’s decide how to do it. We’ll have time for everything, we can solve everything. Just let’s move in this direction so that everything between us and between us and nature is as smooth as water.

Question: So you are saying that this is how nature’s dialogue with man takes place?

Answer: Of course! But this is not yet a dialogue, but a monologue.

Question: So we have not yet entered into a dialogue with nature?

Answer: No. But it expects this.

Question: And so the volcanoes just puff up, and don’t immediately burn us?

Answer: Yes. It is very interesting how nature plays with us. There are so many such mysterious, unpredictable, and threatening phenomena of nature that it simply puts in front of itself.

Question: How do we enter into a dialogue with it?

Answer: Start balancing our relations.

We must realize, understand, and accept, even if we do not understand, then accept that we are at the highest stage of nature. If we create the right relationship between ourselves, without jerks, distortions, without hatred, without anything, so that we are just comfortable, pleasant, and calm, then all nature will calm down beneath us. And that’s it.

We haven’t even recovered from Covid-19, and already, we are at war with our neighbors. And this time, it is not only with our neighbors across the Gazan border, but literally with our next door neighbors: Israeli Arabs who have been living peacefully with Israelis for more than five decades. In fact, most of the youngsters rioting now have never known anything but peaceful living alongside Israelis. They work in Israel, with Israeli Jews, went to Israeli universities with Israeli Jews, and send their representatives to the Israeli parliament, the Knesset. Yet, now they are rioting against Jews, raising flags of Palestine, where they do not want to live, and burning the Israeli flag, where they do want to live. They are lynching, shooting, and stoning Jews, burning Jewish owned shops, synagogues, and cars, and they are chanting “Death to the Jews.”

From day to day, our hatred for each other is growing more intense and venomous. Accordingly, the passion of our neighbors to throw us out of here is proportionally intensifying. The equation is clear and simple; we just have to be honest enough to see it: When we hate each other, they hate us; when we want to destroy each other (as we did in the Second Temple), they want to destroy us.

To us, Jews, this is a major shock. Most Israelis did not imagine that this was how their Arab neighbors felt about them. The situation calls for some serious reckoning. We need to contemplate where to go from here, and why we are here in the first place. No other nation needs to ask these questions, but we, Jews, must. Because if we cannot explain to ourselves, and even more important, to the world(!), why we exist, and why specifically here in Israel, then we will have no moral right to be here, or to be at all.

Telling ourselves that we are here because we needed to save ourselves from antisemitism in the wake of the Holocaust is not the answer. Already, the nations regret voting in favor of establishing a Jewish state in Palestine in November 1947. They haven’t decided to reverse that decision, yet, but if they had to vote on it again, they would vote overwhelmingly against the whole idea.

So, what should we do? We must remind ourselves that we are here not to build a shelter from antisemitism, but to reestablish our peoplehood. We became a nation at the foot of Mt. Sinai, when we pledged to unite “as one man with one heart,” and we were immediately tasked with passing on that unity to the rest of the world, or as the Torah phrases it, with being “a light unto nations.” This is why Old Hillel told the man who asked him what it meant to be a Jew, “That which you hate, do not do unto your neighbor; this is the whole of the Torah, and the rest is commentary” (Shabbat, 31a). This is also why Rabbi Akiva, whose disciples wrote both the Mishnah and The Book of Zohar, said that “Love your neighbor as yourself” is the principal law of the Torah (Jerusalem Talmud, Nedarim, 30b). We should ask ourselves if we are keeping this law, because if we aren’t, then we don’t deserve to be here.

I think the truth is evident. From day to day, our hatred for each other is growing more intense and venomous. Accordingly, the passion of our neighbors to throw us out of here is proportionally intensifying. The equation is clear and simple; we just have to be honest enough to see it: When we hate each other, they hate us; when we want to destroy each other (as we did in the Second Temple), they want to destroy us.

But the opposite is just as true: When we love each other, they love us. We determine our fate by determining how we relate to one another. I don’t know where we will go from here, but I do know what we need to do if we want to go anywhere good: We need to start developing love for one another. The harder we work on this, the faster our situation will improve.
