Question: Why does the Creator allow murder and suicide?

Answer: If a person cannot cope with his great egoism, then the suffering forces him to end his life. From the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah there is nothing special about this because a person doesn’t “fly off” somewhere; rather, he ends his difficult, present life, and in this way he rejects the possibility of correcting himself, ascending and attaining the upper world. So he returns to this world but on different terms.

I don’t think that suicide is a correct decision, but I also don’t condemn these people because undoubtedly they are found in very difficult situations. We cannot blame or condemn anyone. We should always try to understand others.

Comment: Why do all religions strongly opposed to suicide?

Answer: All the religions claim that a person should still correct himself in any case, and that he has no right to part with life, because in his life he is given an opportunity to attain the goal of creation. Even the wisdom of Kabbalah speaks about this, yet in contrast, it doesn’t condemn or judge a person for this reason.

Comment: There is a new attraction in Shanghai called “the game of death.”  A person is asked a question, and if it is answered incorrectly he is placed on a conveyor belt and sent to a simulated crematorium. After the supposed cremation, he is placed in a capsule, which simulates a womb. And after a while, he is “born again.”

People find the game very thrilling. They say it allows them to think about the purpose of life.

Answer: There is nothing we can do. A person is pushed toward the truth by the fear of death or by feeling that he has no choice and he is unable to control his life. This isn’t a philosophy but a real feeling that every living cell is finite.  And even if a transformation into some form is possible, life will eventually come to an end.

Question: Why do people fear death? What do we gain from it?

Answer: First of all, it gives a sense of the futility of life. We forget about this, begin to save something for a rainy day, to leave something for our children and grandchildren, etc. We cannot even imagine that in 500 years one of them would not be alive.

This process is inevitable and we keep feeling our way around making efforts to feel that our life means something, but there is no solution. There have been many beliefs based on the fear of death throughout history, like ancient myths about reincarnation that existed long before religions appeared.

People who begin to ask themselves “what is the meaning of my life?” reach the wisdom of Kabbalah. If people asked this question in a clearer more accurate and direct manner, he would be brought to the wisdom of Kabbalah because they would not be able to answer it in any other way. All the other answers including religions are tricks.

We can only receive an answer to the question about the meaning of life if we reveal the Creator, the only force of nature from which everything generates. We are familiar with its mechanical, electrodynamic, psychological manifestations. But we have to discover its purpose, the direction of its movement, and its force of life. We have to discover the Creator, to be in contact with Him, to understand and to feel Him, and then we will understand who we are and what we are living for.

If people examine the question about the meaning of life more seriously,  it will bring them to the answer found in the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: If there is no meaning to the physical existence of a person and the most important thing is the soul, why should one be alive?

Answer: It is in order to develop the soul, because only when we are in this world can we develop and fulfill our soul and reach a state of wholeness and eternity. This world is very important. Question: The first human head transplant is about to take place in 2017. How will a person feel after such an operation?

Answer: Similar questions were raised when the first heart transplant was planned, and what has changed? What is so special here?

A head is simply the control unit that manages the body by sending signals so that the body will operate properly, nothing more than that. The body will continue to function as long as the head is precisely connected to the body. I don’t see anything supernatural in it.

How many heart transplants take place today? When such an operation took place for the first time in South Africa, it seemed to be a revolution, but no, they simply placed a new pump to make the blood flow. It is the same with the head.

The head is not an organ that records information. The recording of all the information is in the space that surrounds us and the head is only a modem that connects the body with the space that surrounds us in order to operate the body according to the orders that it receives from there.

All the laws, the records, the information, everything, are stored in the space around us. Our brain perceives this information, processes it, and conveys the orders to the body and thus operates it so that it can perform certain actions besides the general functioning of the body and that’s all.

Thus the brain, like the mind, basically carries out all our egoistic desires. The brain serves the desire.

Question: What motivation can I have to attain the upper force through the wisdom of Kabbalah and the connection with others if everything is erased from our memory after we die?

Answer: Nothing is erased or lost. A person doesn’t remember his previous lives because he has never left his body, which means that he has not yet reached any spiritual attainments and therefore doesn’t feel anything beyond his body.

But nonetheless, all of a person’s lives will return to him in any case. It doesn’t mean that he will reveal them, but all the past experiences will be revealed and cleared up to him, and by that a person will be able to reach the upper world.

Question: Is the soul connected to the body or is it independent?

Answer: The soul is not connected to our egoistic body in any way, God forbid. If a person’s arms or legs are cut off, his soul still remains whole. The body can grow old and die, but the soul feels no changes during this process.

Question: Is the soul replaced when it develops?

Answer: The soul is never replaced; it constantly develops.

Question: Does a wicked person have a wicked soul?

Answer: Basically the soul cannot be wicked. The soul is the attribute of bestowal, which a person acquires.

Question: Can we say that the soul is the intention by which I use my desire?

Answer: No, the soul is a desire that already has the right intention.

“The feeling of dissatisfaction may be the first step to an important question: ‘Who am I? What is the meaning of my life?’

“Unfortunately, our minds quickly gets used to the fact that until recently life had pleasure – a phenomenon that psychologists call hedonic adaptation. We get used to the fact that all is well. Even the strongest pleasure of meeting with a man or woman of your life after a while cease to be so sharp. Psychologically we are not created to experience eternal happiness.”

My Comment: Eternal happiness exists, but we need to change in order to feel it, and then we can feel eternal life, or more accurately, eternal existence. Kabbalah teaches this by creating new senses in a person that enable him to sense not within his egoism, but outside of it. Then a person becomes eternal and whole just like the world that is revealed to him.

Answer: The soul is a “cloud” that is found in everyone, without exception.

Question: It is written that a soul that has sinned will surely die. How is it possible to understand this?

Answer: A soul is an altruistic desire, a desire to bestow, to give pleasure, a desire to connect with others.

If it sins, in other words, if it begins to receive for itself and not to bestow to others or to the Creator, then it “dies,” meaning that it transforms into an egoistic fragment that must be reborn and attached with the single general soul again. This is called “revival of the dead.”

Question: Can you prove the existence of the soul?

Answer: In the wisdom of Kabbalah there are no proofs. Someone who wants to hear will hear. It is impossible to prove anything to a person as long as he doesn’t feel the higher world, and he can feel it only if he opens his senses to absorb the higher state.
