Question: What is memory? Where is it stored?

Answer: There are several types of memory. One of them is memory at the chemical or electrochemical level, but it is the same. The other one is spiritual memory, which cannot be erased by some external, material effects.

This highest memory is the soul. It resides in its carrier called Masach, screen in Kabbalah.

If a person creates a screen in himself, then a person’s spiritual state begins to be recorded on it, which is beyond any external power to influence. This state is eternal, like a soul, and can change only in one direction: in the direction of getting closer to the higher root.

Question: Some countries have adopted a law stating that a woman who has three or more children is considered to be a mother of many children and is supposed to devote herself to the family completely.

Why are there periods when the birth rate exceeds the death rate and vice versa when the death rate exceeds the birth rate?

Answer: It depends not on the conditions of our world, but rather on the period when a certain correction takes place in souls. Since our egoism grows and cannot remain in such a huge size in every person, it is like this person has to be divided into a few people. Then each of these people will have less egoism and they will be able to correct it. It is like in the example when we want to lift a trunk of a tree and since it is too heavy we call one more person and one more.

Question: Does it mean that legislation to stimulate the birth rate will not help if the souls will not have a necessity to divide the egoism into a great quantity of parts? It can still correct itself on its own.

Answer: Yes, of course. But on the other side, at the corporeal level, we have to act as usual following the principles accepted in the society. This way we will act on the spiritual principle as well. If people, based on their egoistic interests, want to have more children it will lead in the end to a greater amount of egoism that can be corrected at any given moment of time. Therefore adoption of such laws is still a beneficial thing.

For our egoism today we still lack a few billion people and the correct education. Then we would quickly be able to correct all universal egoism and come to the good state.

Question: Where does thought originate from?

Answer: Thought is primordial. If we delve into thought, we see that we are going beyond time. There is no beginning and no end, and therefore there is immortality. Which means we are not talking about how we feel at the moment, as a certain physical body of a certain consistency: warm and occupying a certain volume.

A person is his thought, his primordial desire, a set of his primordial mental and sensory elements, set parameters, called “Reshimo” in Kabbalah. It is something perfect, eternal, not subject to birth, death, time, or anything.

Answer: We achieve immortality because thought itself is immortal!

We go through the physical states of our matter, energy, and everything that was created from the point of the Big Bang and exit that state. We rise above matter, energy, and information to the field of thought.

Question: Is thought itself energy?

Answer: Yes, you can call it that because we need to somehow establish our feelings. But that is not material energy. We are talking about pure thought, which is aimed at bestowal, not at reception. It is opposite to all our thoughts, directions, and intentions.

When we try to unite with each other and attain this single thought, we are faced with a very interesting revelation that is opposite to us because it operates for absolute bestowal.

By its nature, this is a thought upon which energy, matter, information, and all of nature are based, the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human, our world in general, and everything that we can imagine. This thought has a nature opposite to ours—the nature of bestowal and not reception.

Question: The prominent Russian neuroscientist and pioneer of objective psychology Vladimir Bekhterev declared that man is immortal. He believed that it could be proved purely logically for the simple reason that thought is matter, and consequently, it means that it affects matter.

What does Kabbalah say about this?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah absolutely agrees with him. The fact is that thought is matter in the same way as our whole world is matter and as the spiritual world is also matter.

That is, matter is desire. Desire works either for absorption or for emanation from itself, it does not matter, but it is matter. There is nothing that is not matter. Our thought and our desire are just as material as what we feel as inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature. After all, matter can manifest itself in the form of forces and waves.

If we delve deeper into matter, then there are only waves there. Behind the waves, we begin to feel that there is nothing more than one thought there. On this thought, our material ideas about it gradually thicken in the form of clusters of matter.

It seems that this matter is developing, but it itself is not developing, rather the thought that is inside it. Question: Where is the line when a person acquires freedom from death or rather, freedom from this concept?

Answer: A person gains freedom from death as soon as he begins to feel the upper world. Therefore, it is written on the tablets of the covenant: “Herut” – “Freedom.”

It means freedom from the angel of death. It is said about this: “Behold, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil… choose life.” Moreover, this is not life when you simply exist, but spiritual life that you can reach now and rise above it. Essentially, “Choose immortality.”

Comment: Many have tried to seek this immortality. Today scientists are also trying to find this “I” that perceives reality. They have already explored everything they can, and they say: “We do not find this in the brain.” Moreover, we do not perceive this reality through the eyes. There is a kind of screen at the back of our brain that reflects what is inside of us.

Kabbalists spoke and wrote about this many centuries ago.

My Response: Kabbalists saw it, revealed it, and felt it. Scientists just presume. They clearly do not realize that the world we see before us is inside us. They just guess that it must be so, that our eyes do not see what is happening outside. In general, the eyes are not an organ of vision.

The organ of vision is our brain. The eyes are a lens that turns what is inside us outward. Therefore, for the time being, we can explain existence only in this way.

Nevertheless, we will come to a state when we discover that Kabbalah is vital for us, because without a correct view of life, without real attainment of the universe, we simply cannot exist, we get lost in this. We have developed so much and went so deep into matter that we got lost in this forest. What to do next, we do not know. In any area!

We suddenly find ourselves so lost, small, and dependent entirely on nature. We ask, “What is next for us?” Here Kabbalah is revealed.

I think that people will begin to accept it correctly, as a science of an integral single universe and most importantly, as a science that takes us to an eternal, perfect level of existence.

Question: When we go beyond the limits of material existence, should our development stop?

Answer: It should stop, but, in principle, by itself it is infinite. In Kabbalah, we study another additional stage of our development that is available to us.

With the help of Kabbalah, we can reveal our next existence, so to speak. Just as our stay on Earth ends after 70 years of life, so the unfolding spiritual existence ends with 125 degrees of spiritual development.

Then there is some other line that we do not perceive, but we see that this line exists, and, as Kabbalists say, it is also moving away. It will become clear to us only when we begin to approach it.

Now humanity has developed to the condition where we ask about the meaning of life, in fact, about the border of the volume in which we exist: “And what is beyond its border? There must be something.”

Nature is infinite, continuous, eternal, beyond time, space, and movement, we reveal this even with the help of our sciences. Therefore, we cannot say that there is a border somewhere and that is it. No.

Even our minds and our feelings are not connected to our bodies. What does it all transfuse into, pass into? It means that there is a transformation of one kind to another.

My Response: Naturally, he cares about this. He will take care for himself.

Question: What do you think about this aspiration of people? He probably explains it beautifully: “I want people to live longer,” and so on.

Answer: Why do people need to live longer?

Comment: Man wants to live longer.

My Response: Why? He does not know. But he wants to. Let him answer this first: “Why do you need it?”

Let’s say I have the elixir of life. You take one drop and you will live another 100 years. Then you will come to me again. And then what? How will this help such a Mephistopheles?

Question: Do you think that a person’s hand will not shake when he takes this drop in order to live longer? Or do you actually want that his hand would shake, and he would think: “Why? What will it give me?”

Answer: The instinct to live is very strong. If I know that I am now in charge of my life and death, then I think that everyone will agree for yet another round.

Question: To live more, to suffer for another round?

Answer: Only the fear of death, its inevitability, and the unknown will make a person live. That is, nothing good.

Question: Are you saying that the fear of death will make a person live and not the purpose of life?

Answer: It is natural. What purpose of life? There is none. The purpose of an ordinary person’s life is to escape from death. Why? “I am afraid.”

The animalistic fear of losing one’s life, in principle, does not give anything. All animals have it. And here, it means something that lifts us higher.

Comment: “Do I think or does someone think for me? Do I live or does someone control me?” Such are the questions asked by many scientists.

Today, the hypothesis that consciousness exists independently of the brain is defended by modern Dutch physiologists, who believe that thinking matter does not exist at all. And British scientists argue that the brain, like any other organ, consists of cells and is not capable of thinking. It works like a device that only detects thoughts.

In 1935, a baby was born in New York, who lived for 27 days, cried, behaved like all newborns, and only after his death, pathologists found that he had no brain at all. How is this possible?

My Response: We do not know what the brain is. We do not know where it is located. In practice, it spreads throughout the body, because each cell must know what to do and how to interact with the whole organism.

The body is a mechanism that must receive signals, implement them, and give a response, a response about execution. That is, the brain should be practically everywhere in every cell, at every point.

The brain is a field that exists in us, around us. You can’t even say “in or around us” because this is a completely different reality, a different dimension. It is the thought that fills and surrounds the entire universe, the entire universe.

Even astrophysicists and astronomers say that our universe is a thought. They feel that in the conversation of the stars, in the entire vast volume of the universe, in the accumulation of seemingly completely dead bodies, there is a thought, a melody, a transmission of huge information about the past, present, and future, and not at the level of inanimate masses, but at a completely different internal level, which, unfortunately, we do not cover, do not understand.

Therefore, all our attempts to understand the work of the brain, in principle, do not lead to great success because the brain is an executive part. It is what catches the surrounding signals, interacts with them and converts them into some very external, very primitive instructions to our body. No more.

We are beings completely unknowable to ourselves, we do not know ourselves. We just feel our body, and who we really are, we do not know.

Moreover, we do not know the system that controls us and binds us together into one single control force. The brain is there.

Question: Where do all the signals come from?

Answer: What does “come” mean? We are in this system, in the same volume. And we feel ourselves in the form of an animal, a material body, with its executive part, which includes our brain.
