By Raising Ourselves, We Raise The World

934After the lesson, we go out into the wide world, and the whole world, all of humanity, the whole Kli of Adam HaRishon, enters between us, the ten friends. The world begins to flow inside the ten, between the friends with whom I have connected, and brings its thoughts and desires to us.

We must feel the desires of the world; otherwise, we will not be able to achieve general correction. We must understand that this is not politics, not economics, but that the huge desire of the common soul of Adam HaRishon enters between us and influences us so that we return to unity over these obstacles. Despite the added egoism, we connect again with even greater strength.

The impressions from the big world should not push us apart. We absorb from the world only those impressions with which we can then work to correct.

If we do not break the connection with each other, then the whole big world, which influences us during the day, will properly connect to us, and we will be able to correct it. And by correcting the world within ourselves, we cause its changes outside because a connection has already emerged between the internal and the external.

If the world cannot divide us and tear us apart from each other in the ten during the day, then we transmit our union to it and thereby correct the world. It gradually turns into a part of our spiritual Partzuf, its ending (Sof). We cannot yet actively work with it, but it is already becoming a useful part of the Partzuf.

So day by day, we absorb new desires from the world and transmit the power of unity to it. All humanity belongs to one Kli, one soul. By trying to unite in the ten, we thereby build the inner part of the spiritual vessel and the head (Toch and Rosh). And all other people who have not yet come to unity are the end of the Partzuf (Sof). Therefore, we must unite these desires.

We live in the time of general correction, and we must think about the whole world. Therefore, we are among people, in contrast to the Kabbalists of the past who lived in a cave as hermits, in small settlements. Kabbalists have always strived for solitude because there was still no requirement to work to correct the world.

But we live in a different time and whether we like it or not, we get impressions from the whole world. During the day, we absorb its desires and must process them. And when we then unite in the ten, we must take into account that our unification also includes the desires received from the world. And when we go back to the wide world, we influence it with corrected desires, and the world changes and moves toward the realization of correction and unification.

A Step Into The Open Door

294.4Now we have special opportunities for spiritual advancement. The door is opening; one might even say that it is almost open, and all that remains is for everyone to enter the spiritual world.

We are already beginning to understand little by little how the spiritual world works. We have not yet crossed this threshold, but we are right in front of the open door to spirituality. There has already been a big breakthrough since the beginning of the pandemic.

We need to focus on our thoughts, intentions, sensations, and not on mechanical actions. This is how Kabbalah differs from religion; it speaks of a person’s intention, which he should receive from the upper force through his group and work with it. And religion speaks only of physical actions, of words.

Every person who wants to attain the Creator has the opportunity to do this without any distinction between race, gender, or skin color. Kabbalah is meant for everyone; the only difference is in our desires because we come from one soul of Adam HaRishon. Initially, he was generally one person, and then he was divided into a man and a woman.

We must return to this unity into one person who is all in the intention of bestowal for all his desires. Therefore, the end of correction is the same for everyone, both men and women. And the general correction is that all desires in the world—inanimate, vegetative, and animal—receive the intention for bestowal from us, people. And then the whole world will rise to the level of bestowal and unity.

Therefore, all religions will oppose the method of connection among all because each of them tries to divide people and prove its rightness. Each religion considers itself the only true one and better than others. But the science of Kabbalah comes from the side of integral nature and explains that we all belong to one system. That is why Baal HaSulam says that a person can remain in his own religion, in his customary family ways and traditions, but not to the detriment of universal connection and unity.

Not Alone But All Together

947We must always remember that we belong to one soul, one desire, although it was shattered because of the sin of Adam. We are under the government of the single force called the Creator. There is nothing besides this: only the Creator and the created being, which are two forces one against the other.

The created being was shattered into many parts, and now there is a person, one’s family, the people, the country, corporeal life, and spiritual life, but we must try to connect all these together. After all, concerning the Creator, everything is one—the Creator is moving the whole creation from separation to unity. Through the analysis and synthesis of many conflicting desires and thoughts in an effort to clarify and unite them together, we can reveal the Creator and attain His thoughts and desires.

Therefore, the development of a person, which until now was personal, individual, is becoming an integral process today. Humanity feels its complete interconnection and inability to separate from each other. The world is moving toward its final correction, and this state cannot be achieved by a small group or one country but only by the whole world. The Creator leads us to this and sees our desired future in this way.

The group of Bnei Baruch exists only to help the Creator implement this correction in the whole world and to reveal Him to everyone, by communicating the method and the force of correction to people.

Humanity Is A Single System

255Question: The terms “equality,” “unity,” and “freedom” have been known to us since the French Revolution. Both before and after it, people fought for these principles.

We see that humanity is included in a single system of economic, social, political, and cultural relationships, which are called globalization. But this is only an external unity.

You are always talking about sensory unity on the level of thought and desire. Could you describe how you see the connection of humanity at this level?

Answer: This is a matter of the distant future. Humanity does not ask such a question at all; it is not ready for it and is not able to do anything. The problem is not to force humanity into a state of connection, but to make it wish for it, and its desire would predetermine sensory unity, even to the point of a prayer to come to it. And today’s humanity is still very far from this.

Question: And yet, what should we come to? In all the sources it is written that humanity must become one. What should this final state be?

Answer: Humanity should present a single structure. There are absolutely different people, different interests, and different movements. Each has its own point from which it was born and developed. But we understand that we all have a common goal to create a structure that would be in an internal state of spiritual and worldly balance.

Everyone moves toward the same goal and supports each other. Mutual support in particular is the most important thing in the new society that must rise up after all the difficult periods that we are going through.

Our goal is very simple: to create a single system of humanity in which opposites would find each other for mutual support and form one common harmonious whole. When two opposites connect to achieve a common goal outside of themselves, then they exist in harmony.

We need to realize that with our qualities, we can’t do this right now. But we still have to come to this. Therefore, first of all, we must feel the need for unity, and then the impossibility of achieving it on our own.

Question: Can we say that we were originally designed as a single organism?

Answer: That’s exactly how it was. This is called the system of Adam before the shattering. That is, we already were in this state. We are all the souls, all our internal information records, the so-called Reshimot.

Everyone Is Responsible For Fixing The Whole World

929If I correct myself, I will see that everyone else is already completely corrected. It all depends on my correction. But in order for me to correct myself, I must reach out to everyone and try to convince them that they all need correction.

Everything that happens around me is my projection. I do not see them, I see myself. There are eight billion people in the world, but they are all parts of me. I am Adam HaRishon, the first person, and everyone is included in me. Therefore, I am responsible for correcting the whole world. And everyone should think like that!

The external fix is that I reach out to everyone and urge them to correct themselves. And the inner correction is that I correct myself, my attitude to the world, in order to treat everyone well.

And until I correct myself both internally and externally, so that I can see everyone corrected, there will be no end of correction in the world.

Neutral Strip Between Good And Evil

232.06Nature obeys rigid laws, and if we follow them, we can live well, and if not, we get blows.

But the Creator gives us some time to choose freely in order to start acting and avoid being hit. He does not begin to beat us immediately, so as not to confront us with the inevitable, but wants us to understand and act consciously, from the desire to become like Him.

Physical laws act immediately, like the law of gravity.  If I jump off the slope, I immediately fall, without any time to think.

But in the spiritual world there is a system of Klipot that changes the laws of nature, creating the difference between good and evil, the distance between them. And therefore we can use this distance so as not to expose ourselves immediately to the blows, but to be able to connect with each other and avoid blows by warning it with medicine.

The medicine is Bina’s power that we can use. While in material nature there is no such force, everything is simple: either minus or plus. In the spiritual, there is a minus, plus, and their overlapping in the middle where we are included in both forces and can build a buffer zone containing both opposites.

This system, which includes two forces, is called “man,” Adam, because it contains the desire to receive pleasure and the intention to bestow, due to which we become like the Creator.

In the inanimate, plant, and animal world, which are studied by natural sciences, there is no such intermediate system. Therefore, science cannot comprehend the psychology of even an ordinary, earthly person and even more so a spiritual one. To understand a spiritual person, the science of Kabbalah is necessary, which explains to us how a person is arranged.

Everything that science knows about a human belongs to his animal level and is obtained experimentally. This allows us to create medicines for the biological body. But the human himself, his inner essence, is inaccessible for measurements by any instruments and is not subject to any verification.

Only the science of Kabbalah is capable of studying a person through instruments of the highest level, from above and not from below as we usually study inanimate matter, plants, and animals.

Therefore, in the current crisis, nothing can help humanity except for the science of Kabbalah and its methods. Until then, we will have to suffer. Therefore, we are trying to spread the knowledge about the method of correction in all possible ways.

Sukkot—The Beginning Of Building The Soul

293.1The festival of Sukkot symbolizes the beginning of building the vessel of the soul. The Creator created the desire to receive, which existed in complete bestowal. But this state was maintained by the power of the Creator, from above. This system was called Adam HaRishon, one soul.

But then, in order to give Adam the opportunity to grow, to become independent, and to realize where he is, the Creator broke this vessel, this common soul. And this is called the sin of Adam with the Tree of Knowledge since the huge egoistic desire was revealed and we exist with it to this day.

Everything happened in the way puzzles are made. First, a picture is drawn, then cut into many pieces so that children can play and put it back together. The Creator deliberately led us to sin with the Tree of Knowledge so that the serpent, our terrible desire to receive, would be revealed. And for 6,000 years now, we must correct Malchut by organizing the qualities of the Sefirot in it: Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod.

We are now entering the final stage of this period. Our Sukkah has a very symbolic appearance because for the first time we are practically starting to work as the last generation. The process of the final correction is starting.

The pieces of the puzzle, which each of us represent, are beginning to draw closer together. We must make a human form out of them so that all our desires unite and become like the Creator. There is a small piece of this puzzle in each of us. We only need to gather in tens, and then from tens in hundreds, and in thousands, as the Torah explains. And so we will try to build out of ourselves the form of man, Adam, resembling (Dome) the Creator.

This building begins with the simplest materials, the lightest desires in our soul. This is how a Sukkah is constructed from the “waste” that is separated from “food.” Food is what our desire to receive instinctively likes. And waste is what we naturally reject.

And by connecting with each other, we want to find out what is waste relative to our connection in order to raise this waste above our heads and to increase its importance above all our thoughts and desires that push us away from each other and prevent us from connecting.

We need to connect and become one person. This is the correction of all humanity, it must begin now during the coronavirus pandemic. With this and other events that will be revealed from above, the Creator pushes us to take action, shows us where we can start assembling this puzzle.

Kabbalah deals with the practical implementation of the program of creation, its correction. And now we are working on the first stages of this correction. We have already passed the stages of Slichot, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur, and now we are entering the period of the Sukkot holiday.

Sukkot symbolizes the corrections that must be made within ourselves, in our desire. The Creator created nothing but desire. In this desire, we feel this world as if it exists, we feel reality, and ourselves. But all this is only presented within our desire to receive.

We need to correct ourselves in a way that we will see ourselves as one person. A desire similar to the Creator is called Adam, man, and in it, we will reveal the Creator coming to embrace and merge with us. And it all starts with the Sukkah, with the fact that we build a connection between us in the light of Hassadim. This is not yet a real connection but only coming closer to each other.

The coronavirus pandemic shows exactly how much we are not able to get close to each other. If we get close to our egoistic desires, we bring each other diseases and harm. This is a living example of our bad relationship.

Therefore, we must try to organize everything both materially and spiritually so that all of humanity understands toward what we need to develop and how to correct ourselves and our world. All the forces, all the conditions that are now unfolding in the world are designed to push us to rise to the first spiritual degree.

The Dependence Of The Individual Soul On The General Soul

571.02Question: What are the limitations on the individual soul as part of the general soul, and how is its dependence on the general soul expressed?

Answer: An individual soul develops only to the volume that is necessary for its restoration in the general soul. If we take an individual soul, female or male, we will see that the phases of its development always take place in the general picture of the soul of Adam and not in any other way.

Like Cells In The Body

944Question: A Kabbalist cannot work with a huge number of people at once. First, there must be some small cell. Can we say that ten people are such a mini-society, where everyone will constantly check their attitude toward others?

Answer: This environment not only supports a person on the earthly level in good connection with others, but also, by uniting with them, he begins to feel a common desire, common goals, a common system of correct interconnection between ten friends so that in the end they form a system called, the upper world, or Partzuf, or soul. And the inner strength in this system is the Creator.

Question: It turns out that these ten people are like a cell in the body, which is starting to cooperate with other cells and form organs?

Answer: Right. Every ten that we try to create from our like-minded people will connect with other tens to form one organism together called the “common soul” or Adam.

Question: Thus, a person, starting to work in a mini-group, goes beyond his egoism thanks to constant work in his ten and can already connect with other people, with all of humanity. How does this happen?

Answer: As cells in the body connect despite the fact that each cell belongs to some specific part of the body, a specific organ, through all other cells, it is connected to any other. And this is what the general system Adam (Man) is.

Examining This World

197.01Comment: Hundreds of philosophers and scientists wrote that all of humanity is one family, one organism. That is, they somehow felt our commonality.

My Response: Many people still feel this commonality today. You do not have to be a Kabbalist or a scientist for this. It is enough to be a person who is examining the world. He sees that everything in it is interconnected—the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human levels of nature are one common organism, one common system.

Yet, how does one begin to feel it, how to work with this system in order to feel the force that controls it? Only Kabbalah teaches this.

Abraham, who lived three and a half thousand years ago was the first to feel this commonality. He began to call the manifesting upper forces the Creator.
