What Does the Persistence of a Desire Lead To?

546.02Question: What is the impetus for thought? What is this force that sets a thought into action?

Answer: It is the force of desire. Our desires control our thoughts.

And it may be the opposite, that thoughts control our desires.

Question: How do we convey the idea to the Creator that we only want to merge with Him?

Answer: We need to think more about this. The more you think about something, the more important that object becomes in your eyes. You turn to the Creator with it, and the Creator helps you. The most important thing is to be in constant desire for something.

Thank and Ask

232.1Question: The Creator gives both the desire and the thought. How can you agree with Him to go in the same direction along the path of hastening (Achishena) ahead of the blows and bring Him contentment?

Answer: You should ask the Creator. You do not need anything else, just ask and thank, thank and ask.

We must constantly make these two movements toward the Creator.

Create a Place for the Creator

939.01Question: What kind of exercise can we perform in the ten for the correct work in connecting our individual and common desires?

Answer: By combining individual and common desires, we must aim to create a place for the Creator, which is called Shechina, so that He can be revealed there.

Desire is called a place. But Shechina is not just a desire. Shechina is a collection of all our desires in which we want to connect in order to give place to the Creator. Otherwise, He has no place.

Intangible Connection

258It is written about Abraham, “Walk before Me, and be wholehearted.” RASHI interprets that he does not need support. About Noah, it is written, “Noah walked with God,” that he needed support (Baal HaSulam, Shamati 214, “Known in the Gates”).

Question: From the article it follows that Abraham did not need support, but Noah did.
What is the message of the Creator for our generation on the eve of the convention? What do we need now?

Answer: We need support and an explanation of what we must do, how to unite, what to desire, and what stage of our connection to reach between us.

Question: Does it mean that our generation should make more of our own efforts?

Answer: Partly, yes. On the other hand, since we are in a generation far from Abraham, we still must understand that we have a specific condition. Overall, a good condition. We are very close to the Creator, although we do not yet feel how He treats us and how we influence Him. But still, these conditions exist.

Question: Are we reaching the level of partnership with the Creator now?

Answer: We feel a connection with the Creator, but it is not yet tangible.

How Does the Egoistic Mind Become Spiritual?

528.02Question: How does our egoistic mind become spiritual, and how do these changes occur in the ten?

Answer: The egoistic mind becomes spiritual gradually under the influence of the light of the Creator.

The closer we come to each other, the more we unite and the more we will be able to invite the influence of the light of the Creator upon us. This light will unite us, and under its influence we will come closer to the Creator and become like Him.

We will go through all this in our feelings and begin to feel how we are getting closer, uniting, and thus gradually approaching the goal.

The Whole Path Is Open to Us

525The articles of Rabash contain the entire Torah. He takes it from the highest level and lowers it to our level so that we receive it in the most suitable form, which helps us grow and internally organize ourselves to achieve higher levels. Therefore, Rabash’s articles are the highest source for internal work.

The main thing is to try to penetrate them with your heart, not your head. Open your heart and strive to feel the Creator, and only then begin some movements inside the heart to find an even closer alignment with the Creator.

How can we bring our hearts closer to Rabash? Only by connecting with the hearts of our friends and opening our hearts. There is no other way.

In a few days, we will gather for a congress, which is entirely based on Rabash’s articles and is called “Life in the Ten.” I am very excited and look forward to this congress with great trepidation because the Creator has given us everything we need. Everything depends on whether we can realize what we have received, and our putting all our strength into it.

The whole path is open to us. We can now take off to the goal and reveal all the components we need to collect and attach to ourselves along the way. The main thing is to be highly concentrated. I truly hope this happens to us.

Direction to the Best State

263Question: What kind of state is it when you realize that all your past thoughts and actions have no meaning and you see some emptiness and fear of the unknown in front of you?

Answer: There are all kinds of states in our life, especially if we add spiritual sensations to them.

But the most important thing we should get from our spiritual study is that there is none else but the Creator and the Creator is good and leads us to Himself, that is, to the best state, and we have nothing to fear.

We should only care about being together, among ourselves and with the Creator. This direction should be in front of you all the time.

Question: Is it possible to say that emptiness and fear are egoism?

Answer: Of course, this is egoism beyond a doubt.

Question: So you do not need to give this particular importance?

Answer: It is good if you know how to do it.

Question: Is it worth working through all fears before coming to merge with the Creator?

Answer: Yes, it is necessary to strive for this.
