Prenatal Development In Spirituality

237Question: Does a person feel his spiritual prenatal state?

Answer: We must begin to feel that we are all inside the Creator, as it is written: “There is none else besides Him.”

If I put myself in the feeling that I am inside the womb of the spiritual upper mother, the so-called Elokim, and this is the property of Bina, which raises me, fully cares for me, and determines all my feelings, thoughts, properties, and actions, and I try to hold on to her with all my might, this means that I adhere to her, to her womb, and want to act only in harmony with her. This is how I develop.

Try to think about this all the time: “There is none else besides Him. And all this is only in order to develop me in the right direction. He is good and doing good.” If I keep thinking this way all the time, then I adhere to the upper one and begin to feel that I am inside the spiritual mother.

After passing through several such stages, I am born, meaning I begin to understand her even more, to feel her, to see her. This is how the birth process takes place, perhaps, not very pleasantly, somewhat dramatically, but relatively briefly.

And after that, a different connection with the upper one is realized that flows constantly, only on a higher level, when you already understand more, know more, babble, smile in a spiritual sense, and feel a different reaction.

You have a connection, but not on an inanimate level where the main thing for you is to grasp, and you still do not feel anything. It is like an insensitive mother who does not really react to you because you do not have the corresponding feelings of perception yet.

And then, by developing your perception, you see her in a different way, like a child who begins to feel his mother.

When The World Becomes Uncontrollable

115.06Zohar for All, Lech Lecha, item 22: You should know what is the power of Nimrod over Abraham to throw him into the furnace, which is Ur [Aramaic: light, flame] of the Chaldees, and how he was saved from the furnace.

The king of Babylon, Nimrod, represents a great egoistic force.

If you gather together all modern leaders and politicians who are controlled from above as puppets, you will see Nimrod. This is egoism, which does not know exactly how to perform. It sees that everything is falling apart before it, as our current so-called leaders see.

The world is falling apart. Neither money, which disappears who knows where, nor the army will help. What should we do? Start a nuclear war? That’s pointless!

Today, world leaders are practically deprived of their power. They have nothing to lead with. The police are also very limited. What can be done with people?

The world is becoming unmanageable. This is Nimrod who feels that everything is slipping out of his hands. Abraham is revealed as the radical who seems to be organizing all this. As the saying goes: “These Jews again.” After all, Abraham is considered the first Jew.

Here we can draw a parallel between today’s Israel and everyone else in the world that will very soon treat us like this: “This is it, we have found who is to blame! We will destroy them and everything will be fine.”

Therefore, Nimrod throws Abraham into a furnace. The same will happen to us. However, we will overcome it, and because of that we rise even higher.

Question: Is it necessary to go through this stage historically? After all, we have already been through the gas chambers.

Answer: The fact is that we can go through this furnace internally and not externally. Externally, it is a very long way, decades of all sorts of problems. It is enough for us to go through some difficult state internally and to be born as a new person through it.

This is preferable to us as representatives of Abraham, to the entire world, and even to the haters from the side of Nimrod because they will feel bad themselves. Thus, you can go through everything in a quick, easy, pleasant way of the recognition of evil when you understand that there is evil in you, but at the same time you are already holding a cure for it in your hand.

Comment: The problem is that people want to live peacefully and not to worry.

My Response: They cannot continue like this. The crisis has only shown itself a little. It stuck out its head like a snake and then hid it. Now it will not only stick out its head, but also open its mouth.

What Material Is The Screen Made Of?

232.05Question: What material is the screen made of?

Answer: The screen is made only from the connection between the quality of bestowal and the quality of reception; when I rise above them, I start taking from above what I need from them and putting them together in the right combination with each other.

Question: At the same time, is there also a third force, the Creator?

Answer: The third force is called the screen.

Question: As far as I understood, if we, people, were engaged in the correlation of the right and left side and found such a screen, would we get away from wars, from any problems?

Answer: Naturally! Each of us and all of us together would be engaged in the correct combination of our negative and positive qualities so that they complement each other. And so we would achieve harmony every time. This is what we must do.

Abraham—Great Sage And Thinker

740.02Question: Did such a Torah character as Abraham ever live in our world?

Answer: Indeed, there was such a character in history. Abraham promoted the wisdom of Kabbalah, which he revealed to the residents of Babylon. He led several thousand people away from there and they joined his ideology. Rambam, a researcher who lived in the 12th century AD, more than two thousand years after Abraham, writes about that.

Abraham, who was a priest in ancient Babylon, discovered that creation has a certain path of development, a purpose, a beginning and an end. He revealed that there are forces that develop the whole of nature, especially man. This happens according to the law of the development of egoism on the part of nature and according to the law of development above egoism on the part of man, when he rises above the egoism growing in him.

The very idea and the entire system revealed by Abraham is called “Kabbalah.” He was the first to describe it in The Book of Creation (Sefer Yetzira).

Prior to that, he was an idol worshipper, like all the other Babylonians, and moreover, one of the main priests of King Nimrod. He and his father had their own business. They made statues of various idols and sold them. This is all described in the book of those times, The Great Commentary.

This business is thriving to this day. Even today people sell red strings, holy water, amulets, and so on. But then the quality of “Abraham” grows above all this, which helps a person to rise. Thus, this is also useful.

Question: What happened to Abraham that he abruptly changed so dramatically?

Answer: He discovered that his fellow citizens suddenly began to change. Instead of asking for health, fertility, or a good harvest, they began to wish each other evil, to compete, to hate each other. Each wanted to suppress the other.

Previously, a person wanted to feel good and others did not bother him much. Now he began to want to be bigger than others, better than others, stronger than others. Humiliation of others became a pleasure for him.

This is the result of increased egoism. People stopped communicating, stopped understanding each other. Everyone wanted to become the greatest, to subdue everything and everyone.

Looking at these terrible metamorphoses in the family, in society, everywhere, Abraham began to ask the question, “What is happening?” Then he revealed the entire perspective of the development of humanity. He realized that egoism, which is growing in us, is not just progressing, but developing in order for us to work with it in a different way.

Abraham was a great sage and thinker of that time. He thought, “What is all this for? Is it in order for me to hate others and for them to hate me? What is next? As a result, we will destroy each other, we will go to war against each other. No, nature is not like that. It is global, round, takes care of everyone, includes everything. It is like a mother!” When a person observes nature, he sees that.

Question: Why does it push people into conflict with each other and they kill each other?

Answer: It is not nature that pushes people, but human egoism. Nature itself is arranged very harmoniously.

This is the conclusion that Abraham came to. He realized that the only evil in the world is our egoism, which is constantly growing in us in order for us, despite its growth, to enter into harmony with nature, connect with it, rise above our egoism and begin to use it for bestowal, love, and connection with each other.

Abraham’s Discovery

The Beginning Of A New Degree

624.04Question: Why does everything repeat itself in the Torah? First Terah saw how his son Abraham was burned, and then Abraham had to kill his son Isaac.

Answer: This always happens. To rise above the next stage, you must destroy the previous stage inside yourself. Therefore, the parents, so to speak, die in a person, and the next degree arises inside him.

Abraham was not supposed to kill his son. He only had to restrict him in his movements. After all, Abraham is the right line, complete bestowal, and it cannot rise and do something if there is no next, left, egoistic force against it.

This is why there must be a restriction, the thing that is imposed on egoism, from the right line to the left one. Thus, the totality of the forces gathering inside him begins to manifest in a person.

The Property From Which The Development Of The Soul Begins

740.01Lech Lecha, Item 28: Since the Creator saw his awakening and his desire, He immediately revealed Himself to him and told him, “Go forth,” to know yourself and to correct yourself. “Go Forth”—for you shall not be among sinners.

The Torah talks to a single person who includes the whole world inside him. It says: everything is inside you—inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human nature. You must discern a single quality within yourself called “Adam,” which sets you free, separate it and start working with it. With it, you must surpass all other qualities, break away from them in order to raise it, shape it, and create from it the likeness of the Creator within yourself.

This property is called Abraham, which means the beginning of an image that will later become similar to the Creator. This is the first quality, the quality of mercy, which is born in us in likeness to the Creator. The development of the soul begins with it.

Once a person begins to realize his first spiritual quality, he understands that he must rise above his past, above all Babylon, above mutual hatred, along with this new quality. He separates himself from the past, rises above it as if leaving that place and moving to another.

Therefore, Abraham was told: “Go for to know yourself,” that is, get out of this place, rise above your old egoistic nature. And he did.

Exit From Babylon

537Exit from Babylon, i.e., from a state of confusion, is similar to how a person feels when he discovers Kabbalah. Before that he is very confused and does not know what to do. His life and the whole world seem somehow incomprehensible to him. What is he living for? What is going on with him?

Gradually, the property of bestowal and love is revealed in him, and with the help of this power, he begins to feel that it is possible to rise above the world, that this whole world is still temporary, and he lives in it against his will.

Nevertheless, a person is given the opportunity to rise above this and find a completely different course of life, which is parallel to this one. He will look at everything that happens from above, and in parallel with this, he will flow in his new realm, at a new level. What is below—he, his family, his relatives, everything that exists at the material level—this is not the most important thing and is only needed to somehow accompany him.

The most important thing is that in his inner transformation he is similar to the Creator, and in this likeness, he floats, constantly changing himself. He has a goal, strength, and ability to do it. He studies Kabbalah, studies what all this is for. Now he is already beginning to identify himself with a completely different movement in this world. He already has his own path, which is a little higher than everything earthly.

This is called leaving your Babylon. The person rises and begins to flow in his stream. What happens to everyone here—let it happen. The fact that he is included in the others and rises above them is also necessary. He absorbs from them what is necessary, for example, he takes his household members with him, etc., but, in principle, the bulk remains at the bottom. This is the exit of Abraham from Babylon.

Between Abraham And Isaac

232.05The Book of Zohar, Lech Lecha, Item 24: He weighed several times and saw that the whole world was planted and established from there. In other words, because he weighed many times and did not succeed in drawing light into there, by that, the force of the Din in her was disclosed, from the Masach that was made in Malchut after Tzimtzum Aleph. At that time he saw and recognized that the whole world was established from that Masach, meaning that Malchut, which is called “world,” was established in it.

This is about the appearance of Isaac (the force of judgment). Abraham is the property of mercy and love. You cannot advance with this property, you cannot build anything if there is no property of coarseness, strength, and limitation against it.

You cannot rise only with properties of bestowal and love. You need to have a force like an army. You cannot survive on mercy alone. It is good when it is paired with a good force. And if it is just kindness without force, then it destroys everything and causes a general mess.

Question: What is a screen?

Answer: The screen is the anti-egoistic force that appears in Abraham. It is called Isaac. Abraham must restore this force in him, develop egoism in him, and control it with the help of his quality of love.

Imagine there are as if two people in you, one is egoistic, the second is absolutely altruistic, all bestowal. And you are like an expert between them.

In order to rise above the egoistic force by kindness, you must correctly match both forces in yourself. Thanks to them, you are like on a swing, going up and up all the time.

Any advancement is based on shifting from left to right and from right to left, either step-by-step or as an anchor in the clock. So, here we are shown how the dynamics of human advancement toward the Creator is possible.

The screen is the property that connects the right and left lines, plus and minus, the property of giving and the property of receiving, Abraham and Isaac, so that they can work together, so that the property of mercy would not be destructive.

The Way The Creator Raises Us

231.02Question: Does a person who is in the spiritual world that has revealed the force called Balaam (serpent) understand why this absolutely incredible metamorphosis happens in him?

Answer: He feels and understands that negative qualities are revealed in him: this is Balaam, and this is Pharaoh, this is Balak, and this is Haman, and so on. He knows exactly what quality is being manifested in him at the time.

These are high degrees to which a person advances as if on two legs, left and right, and moves forward. He corrects the unfolding egoism and rises above it. Then egoism is revealed in him again, and he rises above it again.

Comment: It turns out that a Kabbalist, by ascending higher and higher, reveals something more, even that which we may not know in our egoism: where the serpent is, where Balaam is.

My Response: Of course if we are only at the level of our world, then this serpent has nothing to do with us. Talk to people. They do not feel like they are egoists! And if so, then these are everyday, generally accepted toys: robbing, killing, and deceiving.

This is not the egoism with which we work in the spiritual world. A completely different form of egoism is there. We have no idea what it could be. It seems to us that egoism exists only between us in our earthly relationships.

But the real egoism is directed against the Creator. The real egoism is when I want to enslave the Creator, use Him, like in the fairy tale “The Fisherman and the Golden Fish,” “She wants you to be her own servant, to follow her commands and her errands.”

The Creator, on one hand, plays with us through the serpent, and on the other hand, directly through himself. As a result, He allows us to play with him as an adult plays with a child and the child as if uses him.

But He does this so that the child receives properties and forces from Him, then again falls into egoism, and by absorbing it, he grows.

This is a good theatrical action that you have to go through. This is what we live for. It makes a person out of you because you begin to include within you, not our world, but two huge spiritual forces: the light and the force opposite to it. By correctly combining them in you, you acquire the form of the Creator. Therefore, man, Adam, is translated as “similar to the Creator.” This is the state we must achieve.

And the serpent Balaam and all these negative qualities, everything that we go through in this world, help us in this. We just need to know how to work with them correctly.

And if, while studying Kabbalah, we have additional opportunities, then to this extent even greater negative properties will be revealed in us. We will know who the serpent is: Balaam, Pharaoh. All the properties will be revealed in us and we will rise above them and become spiritual.

Partial Manifestations Of Egoism

95Zohar for All, Chayei Sarah, Item 74: All the deeds of wicked Balaam were from the side of impurity.

All the villains: Balaam, Balak, Pharaoh, Haman, and others are the result of the serpent. The serpent is their common property, and they are all partial manifestations of it.

In the beginning of his deeds he took a serpent from among the serpents and tied it before him. He split the head of the serpent and took out its tongue. Then he took certain herbs and burned them all and made a single incense out of them. Then he took the head of that serpent and split it into four sides and turned it into a single incense (Item 77).

Making incense is making the most of your egoism.

Balaam is a property that pulls us to be so selfish that we do not even know what it is. Only as we climb the spiritual levels do we begin to feel it.

In fact, everything that is written in The Book of Zohar talks about people who are already spiritually ascending and feeling these problems.

Around it, he drew a single circle and would say things and do other deeds until he drew upon himself the spirits of impurity, which informed him what was needed. And he acted by their words, according to what they knew from the side of that serpent of the firmament (Item 78).

The task of Balaam is the same as that of the snake. All the negative characters in the Bible are intended only to continue the same work, that is, to come to a person at the right time and sting him with their egoism.

The fall of a person into egoism shakes him up. From this state, he begins to see a distant goal and to rush toward it. Therefore, he needs such a shaking, what is called the awareness of evil.
