Question: With the dictators who have come to power like Hitler, surely there is a sense that they proceed as educators to save the society.

Answer: Hitler was not a dictator. He rose to power in a democratic election. The people chose him. Therefore, it is impossible to say that he conquered the government through power as was done, let’s say, in Russia or some other countries. Also, Germany was not a nation that could be conquered with the help of military force. It was done through the power of persuasion.

Question: Are you saying that sages who need to rise to power now also must persuade the people?

Answer: They don’t need to persuade, but rather to educate them, to tell a person about the meaning of his life.

Persuasion is only possible when you act on a beastly level. Hitler achieved specifically this: He put pressure on the beastly instincts of the German people. The same thing can be done with any other group of people since all of them are internally convinced that “we are unique,” and this inclination toward uniqueness can be raised to the level of fascism, Nazism, that is, people can be gathered with this and directed against others.

In the integral society, a new paradigm that we advance toward is completely different: General humanity, full integrality, similarity to nature as to a single system, a balance between us and nature when each one is in his place so as to raise humanity, to help everyone to “exit themselves.” This exiting oneself will be felt by each like an acquisition of an absolutely new method of existence in which a person begins to feel life precisely outside of himself and not within himself.

Specifically this is what the sage, the leader of the new world, disseminates and advertises, and so this can be absolutely differentiated from what all leaders and dictators have done before him.

Question: The years 2008 through 2009 showed the world stumbling into a crisis, the like of which had not been seen until now, and it was clear that those practices and methods that had worked in the past don’t work now. Independent observers, economists, speak about this more and more. We are entering a new kind of era. Where are we going and why doesn’t what worked before, work now?

Answer: Ten years ago, there already were some people in the world who understood that a crisis had begun.

If we look at the past from a greater distance, from the second half of the last century, representatives of the Club of Rome began to speak about an end to the egoistic development of humanity. Their view was based on this: The earth had completed its task, all of its resources were no longer being renewed, and this could not continue. We need to think about our children and in addition, about their descendants.

After this, ecologists took the stage to protect the ecological condition of the earth and claiming that it is impossible to continue this kind of contamination. The oceans and the air are polluted, trees are cut down, etc. It follows that we are not just depleting the contents of the earth, but are polluting it with industrial wastes so that for hundreds and even thousands of years this will remain the primary condition. The earth cannot process it, and it will not go away.

For example, the problem of plastic is an immense problem that doesn’t seem to have any solution. It cannot be so easy to live like this in the present, for although we think that humanity is wise, it is necessary in spite of it all to consider the future!

Why do we behave like this? After all, ultimately nobody will profit from this. We see that this only adds “green paper” to particular bank accounts, but  generally, nobody gets anything.

Gradually, the crisis has passed into a parallel form. It began with the development of a crisis in the family. The number of divorces reached 50%, then there was a crisis in science. People stopped continuing with it, and most space programs have closed. The crisis between fathers and sons began to gain momentum. Humanity is on drugs, depressed, suicidal, and in complete chaos.

Ultimately, we came to a financial and economic crisis. We confuse these two crises, linking them together, but basically, this is not so important. What is important is that all of the crises are crises of mutual relationships between us. The most recent financial crisis particularly revealed the deterioration of the irrational and egoistic relationships between humans, for finance is that system through which we are linked.

If not for the present system of buying and selling, if we didn’t need to profit from each other, people would not be interconnected. Therefore, the financial crisis is the last in a long chain of crises about which we can do nothing except uncover all the defects and flaws of modern society.

Moreover, society had to reach them. Throughout all of the history of humanity, we acted according to our nature. An ego that constantly grew evolved from generation to generation, so humanity developed evolutionarily. This doesn’t exist in the plant world or in the animal world, only in humans.

Therefore, we are found in what is called progress all the time; it is only conditionally called progress. Now, we have finally reached awareness that we are found in a deep crisis, but what else can be done and what is its nature? Humanity has not yet decided definitively. We are standing at that point.

Question: Not long ago they proved the existence of group intelligence scientifically. Several of the leading universities in America arranged an experiment in which they divided people into small groups. It was established that one of the essential factors that influenced the results was the amount of women in the group. Perhaps you can respond to this?

Answer: I have not learned about these experiments, therefore I cannot respond to them. I personally have no data on this subject.

I can say only one thing: Since our society is composed mostly of women, we certainly need to include them in discussions. Groups could be divided into groups of men, women, and mixed groups.

The idea is that it’s desirable to divide the groups composed of ten people according to sex. In spite of it all, differences between the sexes influences the course of our thinking too significantly; therefore, it’s necessary to try to do this so that the men will not divert their attention from the discussions because they feel obliged to play a particular role regarding the women or the women regarding the men.

We need to accommodate them to this kind of condition, where they won’t pay attention to each other’s sexual character, but will see only friends in front of them in order to form a new level of mutual relationships that doesn’t depend on sexual relationships. By the word “sexes” I am referring to both mental and physical characteristics, everything connected to the terms “man” and “woman.” This is not just external, rather it’s a complete image: a form of thought, approach, everything. We are very different from each other.

Therefore, it’s first necessary to conduct separate workshops for men and for women and only after this, to the degree that they rise above themselves and connect to the importance of the task, will it be possible to have mixed groups. This will happen only after discussing many times questions about education, knowledge, relationships within society, the relationship of the person and nature, or even better, what is uncomfortable for them.

If a woman is facing me, I immediately pass to another level of communication; I try not to hurt her, to relate to her with respect, in some kind of discussion in the meantime, to listen….This is a complete system. Completely different levels of communication are included here, which are not according to the intellect, not according to the essential nature. We are different and a special communication adapter appears between us. We need to rise above this difference so it will not exist in this form so I will look at a person with whom I am conversing as “unisex.” This means that we become equal in everything despite our physical differences.

Sometimes it’s the opposite: Suppose when we are discussing questions like family, we need to “highlight” problems. So we are no longer equal in building something higher, we clarify in what way we still remain unequal on the level of our integral unity: men – women, husband – wife. After all, we don’t completely rise without a body! We rise within our nature and this will give us a whole range of problems. We clarify differences between men, women, and children in a format different from the “roundtable” and gradually bring them to where they will rise above their differences and begin to work for the sake of the next goal, integral unity.

Question: When we are talking about integral learning, we get the impression that there is someone who already understands this method; it’s as if he controls the ordinary person and helps him pass to the next level. Who is organizing all of this for us?

Answer: In our world there are enough people that are not united but who already understand what needs to be done with humanity. Already ninety years ago the academic Vernadsky began to speak about the necessity for the integral unification of society. In his time, this gigantic “brain” had an enormous revelation; he saw the coming form of human development from the start. After that many of his followers appeared both in Russia and in other places. Today this is being discovered everywhere.

Question: All governmental and religious activists know that changing the consciousness of most humans changes society itself and the cooperation between its members, and as a result of this, the principles of managing the government are changed. What will happen to governments? After all, integrality is going to change and format the system.

Answer: On one hand, integrality will format the system, but I don’t think that this will remove the people who are in power. Those found at the peak of the government, the leadership, the economy, these are people who know and possess ability. Perhaps they don’t understand the future system, but they understand the egoistic system. They can organize the process in the right way even if this changes the entire egoistic society. This is to say, these are not ordinary people. They can help the new organization and can participate in it.

A person doesn’t enjoy the dollars that are lying in a safe, rather he enjoys the fulfillment, the feeling of importance, his superiority, that he is higher, stronger, and more important than others. The dollar bill is not fulfilling in itself but rather the spiritual equivalence in the value of this paper which gives security for today and tomorrow. Therefore all of the presently perceived constituents aren’t going anywhere. The power of money is simply going to be eliminated gradually, and in its place will come an absolutely different kind of government, a government of mutual integral cooperation: The more you invest in unity and connection, the more fulfillments you get.

Rabash, “Make Yourself a Rav and Buy Yourself a Friend- 2”: It was written in the book, Matan Torah (The Giving of the Torah, p 143), that one is not impressed by the society or takes their appreciation of something, unless he regards the society as greater than himself. This is the reason why each one must feel that he is the smallest of them all, since one who is great cannot receive from one who is smaller than himself, much less be impressed by his words. Rather, it is only the smaller one who is impressed through appreciating the greater one.

This is one of the recommendations as to how a person has to organize his thoughts, his desires, and his attitudes in order to reach the goal. The ultimate goal of course is in the initial thought, but in order to reach that a person has to build from the endpoint to the to the very beginning.

The advice can be general and individual. The general advice is from the foundation for the individual’s advice, and it’s our obligation to follow the spirit of the general advice. The individual advice refers to specific thoughts that suddenly come to a person, but the foundation has to be solid and common to everyone.

This is why it is necessary to feel the importance of the group and it has to be as strong and great as possible, which means great in quantity and quality. It’s because a person is a desire to receive. Everything begins from the ego that must be corrected. So we have to think about what works most effectively on my ego, on my desire to receive, which members of the society.

Some can influence me, and someone cannot. I need to be like an objective doctor, an outsider who is taking care of this patient, of my desire to receive, which I have to cure. So I need to check which society I need for that and which people impress me, and which actions, and what bestowal I should ask from the friends. When I am sick I am allowed to ask the friends for help, since it says: “They shall help one another.”

When we gather, we have to praise the society and speak of its greatness and then speak about the necessary measures by which we reach the love of friends, and from the love of the created beings we reach the love of the Creator. So I can advise them and ask them to perform such actions that I believe will affect my desire to receive most efficiently.

We must hope, wait, expect, and check, whether our feeling towards the love of friends and towards getting closer to one another is constantly growing, and whether I feel help from above by that, meaning the bestowal of the Light that Reforms. We must constantly check ourselves: which changes occur from one day to the next, from one week to the next, and whether we feel the changes as we get closer to the friends, the growing importance, necessity, and the strengthening of our connections. I check my ascents and descents according to these criteria and not according to my mood. Thus we advance.

Question: When we are working to create an integral society (community), we need to play with this. Together with this, must all of our mutual activities be carried out at the level of thought?

Answer: Absolutely! Nothing more is required of us. We are entering a system where only one thought operates: the beginning of the action, the action itself, and its result. This is all thought.

Question: It is like an assembly line of thought where a lot of people each are carrying out a simple action for a total common result.

Answer: This is not an assembly line of thought. It is, rather, a closed chain of thought, let’s say, like a group composed of ten people where all are linked integrally. This is to say, they all organize a space between them like this where all of their thoughts, desires, and intentions become a shared integral space. Their different thoughts become one thought because a positive influence will be derived from each in regard to all and the goal is their shared state on an integral level.

This common general state doesn’t have to be physical at all. We already have spoken about this state that we create within us, that we describe to ourselves. Suddenly, we begin to understand that we already can realize it and that this state is completely mental. This is a system of thought that is created in which we can exist. Along with this, our physical world even can depart from our feelings and we can get rid of it. We simply pass to another state, the next level of existence, for we exist in the physical world thanks to our bodies only. After all, they belong to the level of the “beast,” whereas the integral level is truly human. The Adam is a closed system of thought and desire mutuality found on the next level, beyond our bodies.

Therefore, the still, vegetative, and animate nature that exists in our world becomes only a basis, a foundation, for us to develop our next level of existence. This is the level of a mutual connection between us, not on the corporeal level, rather on the level of thoughts and desires.

Question: What makes you arrive at conclusions regarding what this world, humanity, and relationships among people will turn into in the future? What is the basis of your prognoses?

Answer: In general, there are multiple predictions that confirm that the upcoming final state of humanity is about equality and mutual inter-dependence; we all see how much our world aspires to it. Who could believe fifty years ago that there would be an African-American president? It seemed impossible!

Nature constantly seeks balance in any form: pressure fluctuations, temperature differences; everything strives to equilibrium. The same applies to human society. To the extent that we achieve correspondence with nature’s general tendencies, to the degree of our understanding that the situation that currently reveals to us pushes us to an overall balance, we’ll arrive at this state through the “mild path,” by “shedding less blood.”

Question: Can we say that your prognoses are built on developmental stages of human egoism?

Answer: Yes, by all means! I am not a “prophet,” I am a researcher. In general, the field of my expertise is exploring egoism, meaning the basis of human nature and the environment in general.

However, humanity develops egoism in a negative way. In the still, vegetative, and animate levels of nature, advancement of egoism brings benefits to progressing objects, whereas, at the speaking level, it expands contrary to human interests. The question is: How long will our egoism push us ahead and demonstrate to us that it is harmful? How long will it perpetrate conflict between our progress and our negation of the movement? When people approach this state, revolutions, wars, and other dramatic conflicts emerge.

Question: Must a person learn to feel every level of existence or is this feeling awakened automatically?

Answer: Only sufferings can occur automatically. They force us to learn, meaning, to feel all levels of existence, and the learning is self-correction, to return to my senses that were lost. Integral education involves this.

Today, I exist as a fragment thrown out of the general system. To be incorporated together with everyone, as one body, I must acquire senses that I have lost. Then I will be able to feel the other as I feel myself and the environment that surrounds me as my nature. This enables me to link correctly with the human world that surrounds me—humanity and civilization—and with the environment, the world of the animate, the vegetative, and the still.

To do this, I am required to have appropriate senses, feelings. Without feelings, I am simply not ready to act. A person lives within desires and acts emotionally. Therefore, we must recover these five senses.

Then, it is clear that nutrition and everything else will automatically be sustained in us. However, to develop these five senses in a person, we must at least bring him to the right society. With the influence of the environment, everyone can change.

The environment has the same characteristics as I do. The moment that it begins to be linked with me, it begins to pressure me, to work on me from all directions. All that I have—the infinite desires, thoughts, efforts, movements, and comprehension—all these are found 100% within the human environment. Therefore, they work on me and even mold me, acquiring every form for me internally and externally.

Therefore, for us, the main thing is precisely integral education. A person is changed under the influence of a properly adapted environment. Only after this, he begins to comprehend the influences and the more subtle fields that exist around him. His sense of smell begins to grasp what it was not ready to do before. His hearing suddenly changes. One begins to feel everything around him from a distance, like a blind person does. With sound, I can measure distances with my eyes closed.

This means that a multitude of new senses become included within me. Then, I can handle things correctly by myself; accommodating myself to the people around me. Considering that all of my senses have been sharpened clearly, I will relate differently to food, smells and sounds, everything. I try to change everything to be in harmony with this. In this way, I am changed under the influence of the environment. Through my influence and together with the environment, I change the nature of the still, vegetative, and animate. That is how this must work.

I am sure that we will succeed in recovering our lost senses through which it will become possible to feel the world around us, and with the influence of an integral link with the environment, we acquire additional senses on the level of “Human Being” found beyond the nature of the animate. Thus, I will feel life, the origin of life, the behavior of the universe, all that exists around us. In the meantime, this is beyond my senses, not perceived by them.

Together with all of humanity, or at least with part of it, I will feel the spiritual creation as one purpose, as one thought, and its influence on me. I am found within it. Everything passes through me. Everything that I do, especially the internal actions, are found in harmony with this immense system. If they are not yet in complete harmony, I will correct them. I see how I am linked through billions of threads with all the spiritual and physical elements of creation.

Question: Why is it that when we talk about the integral network, about integral cooperation, it fades somehow, evades our human consciousness?

Answer: The concept of “integral network” isn’t grasped by a person because it’s opposed to his ego. It’s very difficult for him to invest personal efforts in integral work. How can he exit his ego and begin to think about others? Actually, it’s impossible.

It’s only when problems come to him that are above his egoism: fears, worries, and threats, and then he thinks about the benefits of society. For example, this is what happens at the time of war since the benefit and good of the society and of man become one thing. And even more than that; the benefit of the society is the determining factor, and it’s as if a person is a secondary part included in society itself.

How is it possible that a person will be included within the society as one complete whole without any threats or shocks? For this, public pressure is needed, opinion, a social orientation. But if we leave a person alone without any social pressure, then he won’t be able to do it, since this is his nature.

And that is the level of a real united integral society. This is the same level that is found above the present society.

Question: When people rise to the integral level, does their personal view remain, or do “shared eyes” appear for them, so to speak?

Answer: When a person rises to an integral level, his expanded personal comprehension remains with him, but in an integral manner. That is, he begins to see how he can be useful to this society in general and for each of its members individually.

Today, each of us sees how we can get something from our surroundings, take more for ourselves, grab, and so forth. This is a pretty narrow working track: In what way can I fulfill myself even if I don’t need it? It is because I don’t want something to be left for others. I take it from them, and not because this is something that I need for myself.

Integral relationships open a person, expanding him so much that his need becomes unlimited. That is, if I have seven billion little children and I want to give them all fulfillment, I have something with which to be involved and all of this activity brings me a feeling of happiness. In a case like this, we really reach the next level of existence, which is a level of virtually unlimited fulfillment.
