Question: Do the stars influence the personal fate of a person?

Answer: Such a connection exists. But it isn’t the stars themselves that influence humans, animals, or plants; rather, according to the changes in the position of the stars we can understand which correspondent changes are happening on the levels of vegetative and animate. This doesn’t mean that one influences the other, but according to changes that happen in the heavens, on the level of the still, to which we pay attention, we decide that we must be changed too.

But the stars themselves are not the cause of these changes. It is not on the level of the still. It can remain absolutely hidden from us. But it influences the stars, plants, and people. We don’t see the real cause, and so we have no choice except to link our fate with the stars.

Thus humanity has learned throughout all of its history, from experience. They paid attention to particular plants that followed the moon. Others followed the sun. There were those that opened in the daytime and others that opened at night. From this astrology was born.

Astrology is based upon experience that human beings gathered. Over thousands of years they watched the phenomena of nature in the heavens and on the face of the earth and discovered how one depended on the other, how everything was connected. They constructed records, tables, and pyramids in South America and in Egypt. But all of this teaches only about the mutual connection of all the forces of nature that human beings discovered.

Even people who lived 10,000 years ago had already discovered that our world is global and that all things in it are linked to each other: human nature, the plants that are around him, the animals, nature, and the weather. Everything is connected into a single whole and in every part there are signs of all the rest of the parts, so much so is the system integrated.

Question: How does it follow that in ancient cultures this connection was already known, but because it didn’t since then it wasn’t developed and was even lost? Don’t we get the impression that the ancients were more developed than us?

Answer: The ancient people were more developed than us and were closer to nature. They weren’t afraid of nature; rather, they lived within it and so they understood and felt it. They understood nature better because they attributed everything that was happening with them to it. They connected their entire lives to it: The life of the family and their children, the nature of the person, everything that happens within the family and the community, the weather, the behavior of the animals, and the state of the crop yields in the field.

For them this was one world, and from this perspective, they were more advanced than modern man. Through the development of technologies we have detached ourselves from nature and have stopped respecting and valuing it, feeling it as our home. We will soon have to return to this perspective.

Question: Is there any connection between a person’s fate and the place of the stars and the sun?

Answer: Of course. We are in a tightly mutually connected system in which there are very rigid laws. We learn about some of them in physics and astronomy, but we don’t know these laws well enough and we have no information about this whole system.

First of all, we only know very little about the part of the creation called our universe, which is a tiny black point in the huge infinite space that we don’t feel at all. This means that the infinite space of our universe, which we do feel, is actually a tiny point.

Therefore, we cannot advance nor discuss or understand these things without knowing the whole system that is beyond our universe. Even if we did know 100% of the laws in our universe, we would only know and attain a tiny part of the universe.

This is the reason we cannot establish a science by observing the stars and the movement of the planets and different signs of success. We simply don’t have enough data in this field.

Throughout history many researchers and scientists studied the planets and the stars and recorded their observations, wanting to connect the way each of them moved with the revolutions of the other stars and planets and also with what happens on this planet—our climate, the warming and the cooling of the planet, the winds, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and hurricanes—with the positive or negative effect they have on plants and animals and also on different types of people.

We really want to know what a certain factor or another has in store for us, to what extent it affects our near and distant future. People have tried to attain that, and as it seems in astrology, they have tried to connect it to people’s lives, to people’s nature, fate, to the flow of life, and to how people interrelate with one another according to the different astrological signs.

We yearn to know the future, that’s all! If we knew the future, if our parents received a detailed map of our whole life, no one would even look at the stars and astrological signs and wouldn’t listen to astrologers.

We have accumulated a lot of data through our studies of nature but we cannot count on them 100%. However, they can at least show us different relationships and interdependencies. This is indeed true, since it stems from the fact that we follow different natural phenomena and see that in the duration of tens and even thousands of generations certain phenomena are connected to others.

There are charts of these mutual connections in astrology according to which we can approximately say what will happen when a certain number of the external conditions match. What is more, there are several options as to how different events can develop.

Just as we observe natural phenomena, collect data, and then establish sciences on this basis, we also do the same thing in astrology. But we cannot call astrology a science because this whole area is completely beyond our control.

Question: What are dreams? There are many myths and fairy tales around dreams and this phenomenon has concerned humanity throughout its history. The ancient Romans and Greeks tried to decipher dreams. But until now, this phenomenon remains a mystery.

A person spends one-third of his life sleeping and has dreams during all this time, but does not remember most of them. In this way, our brain processes and organizes all the information received during the day.

But there are dreams that seem to convey a special message, to reveal the future. Where do dreams come from?

Answer: Even the Torah talks about dreams: the dream of Jacob and the dreams of Pharaoh and his ministers. Sleep is a natural phenomenon, but sometimes we perceive dreams as something not serious, like fantasies.

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that during sleep, the brain summarizes all the information received during the day and that is what we perceive as dreams. This data and some fluids that rise in the brain without any connection to real matter, take special forms, and as a result, we see unusual images of people, animals, and strange events.

All this is due to the fact that sleep, as opposed to reality, has no material basis. This is why everything happens as if in the air and without regard to our specific desires. In addition, a dream can reveal those desires that we would like to realize, but are not able to, fears that torment us and from which we cannot escape, all kinds of fantasies, and pleasant and unpleasant experiences that we have been through.

Among them, there are those that we would rather forget. Perhaps, in real life we managed this, but they still live in us subconsciously. Therefore, while we sleep and break away from the real world and the environment that does not affect us, all these fears and feelings awaken in us and come to life in a dream.

Dreams can tell a lot about a person, such as his inner state, desires, thoughts, all sorts of plans, fears, and obstacles. When he is under hypnosis, it is possible to study and learn a lot information. In this state, a person loses control over himself and opens himself to the study.

Today, we begin to realize more and more that all of creation is one system and that there is nothing coincidental about it. Everything works according to a general plan that is not known to us. We don’t know who invented it and who manages it, but at least it is clear that everything works according to some upper plan.

Therefore, we can predict what will happen in one place or in several places according to what happens in a certain place. Eventually, we begin to examine the entire system as one whole.

This leads us to the question of why we can be so successful on the level of the still nature, but, at the same time, cannot predict anything when it comes to the human level. We can launch a spaceship to explore another planet and make sure that it lands there, takes pictures, and sends them back to us, or even sends it to some more distant stars.

This means that we know how to calculate its movement in relation to the stars, and this indicates that we know the laws of nature at least to the depth of the physical level.

These laws of the mutual connection do indeed exist and it isn’t by chance that everything in the universe revolves, but this is only on the level of the still nature, while on the vegetative and the animate levels of nature on this planet, we encounter problems. As long as we remain on the level of the still nature, we can predict outcomes, the influence of still nature on plants and animals, and the influence of animals on the vegetative and still nature.

However, when it comes to man, everything is much more complicated. We don’t understand how he is incorporated in the general system. As long as we study only plants, we can predict what will happen during the year, in two years’ time, in five years or even in fifty years according to the seasons and the climate. We also can predict to some extent what will happen in the animate world.

However, when we speak about man, we cannot even say what will happen to him tomorrow. The more complicated the object of our study is—the still, vegetative, animate, and the speaking nature—the more such unexpected forces and factors influence it, and we cannot predict its fate.

It is because the most important thing for us is to predict the future. Currently, we exist somehow, but it is interesting to know what will happen the next moment or in another thousand years.

We do understand the connection between the still and vegetative nature to some extent, such as the effect of sunlight on how a plant grows until it withers. Even here, we may be surprised and encounter phenomena that we don’t understand. Suddenly certain species of plants disappear for reasons that we don’t understand.

However, we have no idea at all as to how man affects the whole system of nature. The main thing is that every human being is an individual, a special personality. There is no such thing in the vegetative world where the entire field withers together. This is because we don’t pay attention to one plant but look at the field as one whole. Plants are indeed all connected to one another that way.

Every human being has his own, unique destiny that is different from others. We see that even newborn babies are very different. One is perfectly healthy and the other is very clever. Each one is an individual.

However, we cannot say that about animals. Interestingly, even people’s physical bodies, which belong to the animate level, are very different from one another. The human level radiates on them and gives them a special individuality so that each body receives its own unique psychological and physiological attributes.

Question: Stars, success, fate, astrology, a map of our lives, all of this awakens a strong curiosity in people, but it remains covered in the darkness of ignorance. So each one is free to imagine anything he wants about this area, and there are a multitude of astrological currents. But first of all, I would like to know, does a connection really exist between the arrangement of the stars and the fate of a person?

Answer: It is absolutely clear that if we live in an integral world that emerged from the singularity of the Big Bang 14 billion years ago, from then up until this moment, it has expanded according to absolutely strict and clear laws of which we have discovered only a minute fraction. But in what we have discovered, we see iron-clad laws and inseparable connections between all parts of nature.

Our solar system was created under particularly favorable conditions that made the appearance of life possible. It is not by chance that the Earth was created as the third planet from the sun, under unique conditions that provide it with the two planets before it, Mercury and Venus, and all the planets that come after it, starting from Mars and beyond to the other plants.

It is interesting that together with Earth, all of the planets that orbit the sun have their own function in relation to it. They absorb and swallow waves of radioactive rays from the sun and don’t allow them reach the Earth.

By changes in location, the planets balance all this great system. It seems to us that the Earth rotates in empty space, but actually all of the planets are linked by rigid connections.

For example, not long ago it was discovered that Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, plays a gigantic role in our lives. If it were not for its immense mass that attracts, like a magnet, all the fragments that are flying around, then millions of times more meteors would have fallen on the Earth. In this manner it is our defensive shield.

Some of the planets shield us from harmful radiation, others work as absorbers that swallow sharp fluctuations and provide for stable conditions on Earth by which life can exist. Other  planets attract cosmic objects to themselves that threaten to fall on the Earth.

All of this works as a single system that we still don’t fully understand. The wisdom of Kabbalah shows how much all things are connected and depend upon each other. From that moment when the universe emerged from a single point until today, everything is managed within it by means of a single, general force that holds together the natures of the still, vegetative, and animate levels and all of humanity.

So without a doubt, there exists a connection between our fate and what is happening in the heavens if we are in a single system. The only question is can we discern and discover it?

Are we ready to come to such conclusions on the basis of thousands of years of observation and records that have been transmitted from generation to generation? In such a case, we explore this connection in a practical manner. Or, we don’t rely on experimental data but learn the main laws. Based on these laws, we will understand what will happen.

There are two ways to investigate nature: either experimentally or by attaining its laws. By attaining the laws without experimental data, we are able think about the future and predict what will happen.

Question: How can I develop a new perception that allows me to exit the aquarium of this world?

Answer: First I have to investigate how I live. I have a desire to exit this aquarium, but all my senses operate inside it.

I aspire to break free, but it is only an inner demand that makes me feel clammed up. So what’s next? How can I get out of the aquarium and feel the external world?

I want to leave my fish body inside the aquarium and escape like some bodiless spirit so that my soul will break free of this fish, of the water, of the aquarium, and will begin to live on the outside! This is the desire I feel! This desire stems from the same soul that wishes to exit my body.

And in this case I need a guide that will tell me what to do if I am such a crazy fish. Perhaps there is something wrong with me or perhaps I have already developed to the next level.

This yearning seems abnormal since 99% of the people live peacefully in the aquarium and feel fine, while I suddenly feel that living in a locked aquarium is worse than death and that I have to get out of it. I have to discover the external reality, to know the upper force, to know the world that is beyond the walls of the aquarium that has become a prison for me.

Then I begin to look for a way to perform this revolution inside me and I find the wisdom of Kabbalah. The wisdom of Kabbalah doesn’t teach the beginner what is external to him because at first there is no one to teach. At first I have nothing but the desire to come out of the body of the fish. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches me how to get out.

When I find myself outside the aquarium, I will begin to develop in the new world. The main thing is to get out! The aquarium remains and so does the fish inside it with its physical body and all its senses in the water, but the special desire that has awoken in that fish, which is called the point in the heart, comes out of the aquarium and a new sense develops from it, a new spiritual body.

I don’t identify myself with that fish anymore and it becomes meaningless for me. It lives and I am ready to provide it with everything it needs as long as it leaves me alone. In fact, that fish doesn’t require more than it needs in order to exist: food, sex, family, money, respect, and knowledge. I can provide it with all that as long as it doesn’t interfere with my developing a new sense.

This new body also has five types of sensations: “sight, hearing, taste, smell,” and “touch,” but they have different names: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut. Through them I receive five types of impressions that depict the picture of the upper spiritual world in me. This world is called spiritual (Ruhani) since I first develop in it on the still level and then on the level of the vegetative (Ruach – spirit), which is the first level that depends on me.

Thus, I begin to develop outside the aquarium. The fish remains in the aquarium and it can live and die in it. It is still connected to some extent to my new part that lives outside the aquarium, called a soul, but the main point is that I have already freed my point in the heart, which very much wanted to break out.

I have taken it out of my corporeal desires that were absolutely egoistic and have begun to develop externally to them. Now I begin to feel the reality outside the aquarium, which no one else in the world feels and doesn’t even imagine exists.

There are people who think about what there was before they were born or what they will be after their death. Before we are born our matter exists in a different form and after death it will be transformed again, but our birth, our life, or our death have nothing to do with the spiritual world because they are expressed in the matter of the egoistic desire to receive. On the other hand, the matter of the upper world is a desire to bestow.

My Comment: There are no other means to calm the masses of unemployed, dissatisfied, and angry! It is beyond the power of the United States to raise their level of general education. The main thing is to calm everyone down. That is what this “harmless” drug does.

All this is happening under the banner of struggle for the health of the people by quitting smoking cigarettes! So, it is impossible to blame the state for harmful actions!

We are living in a very interesting times that are very unclear. Humanity has always been accustomed to making plans for 10 and even for 50 years ahead. People knew why they were alive and in what direction their nation was developing. But around 30-40 years ago, we lost our direction in life and and we now no longer know why we are living and developing.

Every person, family, and nation is in a situation like this. It dominates us so much that we no longer want to learn since we don’t see any results from it. Children are not connected to their parents and don’t want to marry, create a family, or give birth to children.

They don’t have any particular, clear purpose in life, such as building a home, raising a child, and so on. Pople have lost the taste for life. Many people in the world are depressed, and to forget, use drugs. The percentage of divorces is rising at a dizzying rate.

This strange time shows our distancing from each other, our loosing connection with our nation, with our family, and with friends  There was a time when there were very strong ties between relatives. Today this is not so, people can travel to another land and live in a society with a different culture.

The sensation of meaninglessness in life has spread everywhere in the world in different forms. We don’t set any unique goals for ourselves and don’t think about what will be in another 30, 40, 50, or 100 years. In the past this was interesting, if not for the individual person, then at least the nation, but now this doesn’t interest anyone. Everyone lives only for today since that is easier and simpler.

Never has the world been in such a state, which is a sign of a period of transition. We must pass from this state to a new state, meaning that we must begin to search for new values that make life worth living. Today there are no such values for people.

This meaninglessness is appalling. Even if person has a desire, he or she cannot realize their hopes and goals. Everything is falling apart on all levels: materially, spiritually, culturally, physically, in families, and in society.

It is precisely at this time that the wisdom of Kabbalah has been revealed to us. It originated 3,800 years ago in ancient Babylon. It says that once we were in the same state of mutual rejection that we feel today. Our ego reached such dimensions that we lost the connection with each other and were scattered throughout the world and distant from those strong societal connections in Babylon where we had lived and worked. Much cultural evidence has remained for us that reminds us of the separation that we experienced in Babylon.

Today we are beginning to enter into a similar situation, except on a new level. Today our planet is becoming smaller, as in ancient Babylon, and like the Babylonians, we don’t know what to do. Again, it is not clear to us how it is possible to get along with each other. We also don’t want to get along, so we divorce, separate, and disconnect. Each one feels himself an individualist.

Kabbalah speaks about this, and that today we must rise above our ego and understand that the same problem that is being discovered today in us, in our children, the family, society, the nation, and  the world has been awakened so that we will rise above ourselves and begin to develop connections between us.

This connection raises us to the next level of existence. Through the system of connection between us that humanity is creating, we are beginning to feel a new world, an absolutely new state. After all, today we perceive creation through our five corporeal senses, but we are ready to feel it via an additional, integral sense that we can develop if we connect to a system of communication and cooperation between us.

That is, instead of perceiving my egoistic, private world, I will feel the world as integral and connected. I will then begin to feel the entire system, the whole of  creation, and the interaction between its parts to such a degree that I will feel the world and myself in an absolutely different way.

Today we feel that we exist in the world for the number of years in a web of interactions between us. But if we begin to connect with one another, in spite of what our ego dictates to us, we will acquire a new system of communication and discover ourselves existing on another level, in an integral dimension in which there is no beginning or end. After all, the connection between us will make it possible for us to see the world through others, a multidimensional world and not linearly the way we see it today.

It is not easy to explain this to a person and for them to reach a perception of this world. But as a result of unique exercises, according to the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah, we can reach this and see an absolutely different creation.

The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us that whether we want it or not, we must reach this. So we are found in a state of crisis in all of nature, which shows us that nature itself is integral and all of its parts are found in complete harmony with each other, and a person is not ready to exist in such a harmonious picture because the ego takes him out of it.

Since we are the opposite of nature, we constantly damage it and don’t want to be a part of the integral picture. And so we feel the confrontation with nature in the form of a crisis.

The present crisis will continue until we reach the same direct integral cooperation in a good connection with nature like all of its other components.

The still, vegetative, and animate nature are in harmony, homeostasis, equilibrium. Man, using his egoism and devouring with this egoistic nature more than is necessary for his existence, violates this harmony and eventually leads to the crisis itself.

Therefore, the confrontation with nature will continue and will lead us to such a shock that we still have to find a way to continuing existence. Indeed, despite the technological advances, we can not live a normal life without the proper interaction and harmony with the environment.

Harmony can be found only if we pass through a certain period of re-education, through efforts to remake ourselves, rising above our selfish nature and arriving at the correct interaction between us.

This is the main subject of the wisdom of Kabbalah, which tells the history of man’s appearance on the planet and about reaching the end of his egoistic development, when he is compelled to change himself. The wisdom of Kabbalah explains how we can change ourselves to emerge from the crisis, which will be felt on a more and more brutal scale by the individual, the family, society, the nation and the world.

So we are obliged to learn how to interact between us. For this there is the method of integral education that allows an easy way to implement this: gradual, correct interaction between us with the help of special exercises.

Very rapidly, other forces of nature will be revealed before us that are opposite to the negative, egoistic forces that cause conflicts between us. A person will feel that he can balance them with the altruistic forces to the extent that he will begin to feel the world as good and not cruel.

He will begin to understand the forces of nature, why nature behaves like this with him, and in what form he can use the forces of nature for his own good and truly benefit from his very existence on the planet.

When a person begins to interact correctly with other people, meaning that he begins to connect with them correctly, he will begin to feel himself in the unique network of communication that connects everyone.

He will feel that he is exiting the framework of time, space, and motion and existing in an absolutely different dimension in which the main thing is not our individual bodies, but our one collective body and collective existence where we begin to pass to another state, another dimension.

Together with this, the world will dissolve from our feelings, and in its place we will begin to feel what is called the higher world, meaning a shared existence in which all concepts of time, space, motion, birth, aging, and death will disappear.

We will stop feeling the world as it is now and will enter into its inner comprehension. After all, we now feel it only through our five corporeal senses, and so we only feel the world as long as our physical body exists. And if in its place we create another body, which is the connection between us, then through it we will begin to feel our entire environment in its true form that is not distorted and limited by the body.

A person who is involved with correction of himself, according to the method of integral education, will gradually pass from feeling our world to feeling a double world: both our world and the inner, higher world. And when his body dies, he will continue to exist only with the feeling of the higher world, the world that he discovered and acquired while in his physical life.

This is the goal of the wisdom of Kabbalah: to bring a person to the perception of the integral world. After all, the crisis through which we are passing is created by nature specifically to bring us from a perception of the limited world through our bodies, to the integral perception by way of a general connection between us.

Today many people in the world are engaged in the wisdom of Kabbalah. In its time, Kabbalah predicted that humanity would reach a state where it could not fulfill itself with anything, that people would feel emptiness and lose the goal and the meaning of life. All of this would bring a person to the question, “What is the meaning of life?”

People would gradually discover the secret of the meaning of life. It is not latent within our bodies and not limited by its framework; rather, it is much higher above this. The entire universe and the whole of creation is a completely different system and not as we perceive it today. The sciences of this world already speak about this.

In the framework of our organization, we are making all efforts to give to everyone who wants it, an opportunity to be engaged with the wisdom of Kabbalah, and to gradually acquire the sensation of the higher world.

There are great misconceptions about the wisdom of Kabbalah. People ask, “Why is it necessary to study the wisdom of Kabbalah? Is it interesting for us to know how many angels there are in heaven and what they are called? Is it important what we call the worlds, the Partzufim, or the Sefirot? Why should we sit and learn impractical things like these that are irrelevant to real life?”

We open the book and read: Behold that before the emanations were emanated and the creatures were created, the upper simple light had filled the whole existence. Where is all of this found? This is so far from us, outside of this world and universe, outside of this space in which all of us exist together with our planet, the sun, and all the stars. All of this is absolutely abstract and detached from our world.

No practical benefit is seen nor any concrete means that would make it possible to improve our lives and perform any actions. It is suggested to us simply to study. So what is the meaning of this?

Besides that, there are those who say that because this study is too abstract, it is possible to go crazy. Since studying the Talmud and Mitzvot (commandments), the Shulchan Aruch makes it possible to apply the study to practical activities and is preferable for the organization of our lives. We are able to provide a good education and information to children so that they will be able to proceed in the way of their ancestors.

It is customary to think that religion brings benefit to people while the wisdom of Kabbalah is like some kind of philosophy. So why does an ordinary person need this? Such an opinion is widespread and common in the world.

Or people think that with the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah, it is possible to do miracles by activating forces from the next world. And so the wisdom of Kabbalah seems even more dangerous for you are apparently working with mysticism and are liable to harm yourself and others. People are against anyone being involved with it at all, for who knows what you are liable to do? Maybe you will get access to some red button through which it will be possible to blow up the whole world.

But all of these erroneous opinions are the result of absolute ignorance. People don’t understand that the wisdom of Kabbalah is the most practical of sciences and by being involved in it, it is possible to attract the Light that reforms.

In truth, it is difficult to explain this. Even those who come to study in the beginning don’t understand what they really want and what they came for. After years of study and learning, it is gradually revealed to a person that Kabbalah is a practical method only. This is because with its help, we awaken a unique power that changes everything in our world, a power that is called the Upper Light.

If we don’t attract this Light, it still acts according to its plan. And so it controls us in any case, but only in a form that is quite unpleasant and not desirable for the upper force or for a person.
