The Primary Responsibility of the People of Israel

294.2Question: You keep saying that unity of the people of Israel is the only salvation. Why are people so distant from each other in a nation that has such a destiny?

Answer: Unity is the truest thing, and therefore the egoism of humanity rises against it.

Our work is to attract everyone to unity through a long process of re-education and to become a source through which the whole world will understand how it needs to reorganize and achieve the revelation of the upper force so that the upper forces of nature, and later the general upper force as well, are revealed at the level of our world.

Then all of humanity will become eternal and perfect. But only if we reach unity among us as one person with one heart.

Question: Are you talking about Israel?

Answer: I am talking about the entire world. But first of all, it is Israel and those people in the world who feel an attraction, a need, a necessity, for this.

It is Israel, because in every Jew there is such a point in the heart. Other people in the world also have it, but it can be manifested today, or maybe in years, as they develop spiritually.

But the Jews are obliged to do this, and most of all the Israelis. If we go forward in our spiritual development, that is, toward uniting with each other, we will see how everything bad around us dissolves, we are given the opportunity to act further and feel only good influence and help.

I do not see any problems at all in the fact that those countries that are so vehemently opposed to us today will change. It depends on us, not on them. In their behavior, we must see the imprint of those missed opportunities that we can correct and do not correct.

Before the Collapse of the Temple

962.2Comment: It is said: “When you’re sick, you should see a doctor. He is given the right to treat.”

My Response: This was not said about our doctors and not in our time. It was about the times of Hippocrates and Avicenna, about the times when there were great Kabbalistic sages among the Jews before the collapse of the Temple.

The collapse of the Temple, meaning the fall of that part of humanity called the people of Israel from the spiritual degree greatly affected everything! The Middle Ages arrived, everything went into stagnation, and everything went into decline. Before that, even the Romans and Greeks were not so cruel.

Of course no one is to blame for this. It is the upper program that created such conditions through them. But the fact that through them the upper program destroyed Israel in the form in which it existed, even though it had already slipped to the point that it had to be destroyed, it turned the whole world around. Since then, medicine and everything has gone into a completely different direction.

Before that everything was different. Even relations among other nations were not as barbaric as later. Where are these ancient Greeks? Look at Greece for the last two thousand years. What was it like? And the Romans? And so on. Even the ancient Arab world. Everything has collapsed everywhere. Wars and battles were not needed.

However, all this is nearing completion.

The Need to See the World as Common

627.2Question: They say that when mobile telephone communication appeared, Israel ranked first  in terms of conversation activity. Not because there was a need to communicate, but simply by talking to each other.

Answer: Yes, Israelis like to chat no less than others. Of course, they cannot be compared to Italians or Spaniards. There are probably statistics about which nation in the world is the most talkative.

As for communication, technology, and all these things, a person has a very acute sense of needing them. This gives him the opportunity to be more connected with the world and with the world view, and not just to be shut within himself, but to be more open.

As before, people were accused of excessive openness, cosmopolitanism. The word “cosmopolitan” was considered a curse—a worldly man.

In Stalin’s time, cosmopolitans referred to Jews. This is partly true since, while Gypsies and other national minorities (as other nations surrounding Russia were then called) have something of their own that they steeped in, the Jews always strived to have common ties all over the world. Therefore, the word “cosmopolitan” suits them.

I think that the development of communication and the desire for technology that connects people is, in principle, part of their internal national culture. It is because the whole Jewish culture is fixated on the common connection of everyone and everything, on the need to see the world as common.

Rosh HaShanah—Adam’s Birthday

744All the nations of the world celebrate the New Year as an ordinary corporeal holiday, and only the Jews have a special celebration as we celebrate the creation of Adam. This is a very significant date.

Five days before the New Year (Rosh HaShanah), the creation of the world took place, and on New Year’s Day, at the fifth hour of Friday, Adam was created.

All the red dates of the Jewish calendar are dedicated not to the corporeal holidays, but to various spiritual actions, including the creation of the world and the creation of Adam. They gave our people a general and purposeful movement forward.

Adam is a soul, i.e., a structure of force, a network of forces, which is supposedly located somewhere in space and is an analogy of the Creator.

But it was created from above, under the influence of the upper force, which is kindness, love, and bestowal. Therefore, the structure itself was in the same state of bestowal, love, and mercy toward itself, and was an internal, self-sufficient “cocoon” that did not need to develop, it existed by itself.

In order to force this structure to develop, it was necessary to shake it somehow, to introduce an element of interference into it, a sharp external influence. This was done with the help of an additional system called Hava or Eve. She disturbed Adam’s inner balance, and as a result, this structure exploded from the inside.

For example, when an imbalance occurs in an atomic bomb due to excessive convergence of the two halves, the critical mass increases and self-decay begins, which leads to a nuclear explosion.

The same thing happened here. It turns out that we basically celebrate the fall. It would seem that we should sit in mourning, fast, cry, and “sprinkle ashes on our heads.”

No, we celebrate it, because thanks to the shattering we can assemble ourselves from the fragments of Adam and Eve and bring ourselves to the state similar to the upper force that created them and become equal to it in perfection and eternity.

In this way, we correct what the Creator deliberately broke for us, just as parents disassemble a puzzle for a child so that he becomes smarter by assembling it. In all this action, we must see the preparation of the Creator who treats us with love and wishes that we reach His perfection, become equal to Him.

Therefore, we celebrate the opportunity given to us for correction as a holiday. This is the New Year.

Why Do We Need a Jewish New Year?

506.3Question: The Jewish New Year has come, the 5783rd Rosh HaShanah. At the time when it all started, there were no Jews. But it is called “Jewish” and Jews celebrate it.

The global question now is whether this the Jewish New Year or is it the World New Year? What would you call it?

Answer: All those who take upon themselves the system of correction, meaning are included in this chronology, which is called Hebrew from the word “Ivri” – to cross the border between our egoistic world and the upper, altruistic one. So, those who want to cross this border, even if they have not yet moved from egoism to altruism, immediately the count goes to 5,783.

And then they call themselves “Ivri,” “Jew” from the word “Yihud” – “union,” because the transition takes place in connection. In this way they celebrate this date, the date of the descent into their hearts and minds of understanding of how we can move from our world, the egoistic state, to the upper world, the altruistic state.

Comment: Jews in Israel and around the world celebrate the New Year, this is the Jewish New Year. And you say, it is really those who cross or want to cross this border who celebrate it.

My Response: What is the news for everyone celebrating today that this is considered the new year? I understand that there can be many dates. But, in general, the main thing is not the date, but the meaning, the essence. And the point is that a person should change from an egoist to an altruist.

If a person wants to change, if he goes to this change, then the new year period comes for him.

Question: And all the attributes of the new year—apple, honey, sweetening life by dipping an apple in honey—does this have some deep spiritual meaning?

Answer: The spiritual meaning lies only in the human spirit. There are no spiritual roots in apples and honey, just like there isn’t in the head of a fish.

Comment: And they say that you need to start from the head, not from the tail.

My Response: Because this is the new year , the head of the year. That’s why it starts like this. But in principle, if you take not a fish, but a bull’s head? It could be even better. 🙂 The year will be even more successful. 🙂

Question: What is the spiritual meaning of the phrase “start from the head”?

Answer: You need to start from the head. Meaning, for what you want to live for this year, what it should give you, what you should rise up to, what you should demand from yourself, it’s all in the head.

Question: And what to rise to? What to demand from yourself?

Answer: Only getting closer to the Creator. Nothing more is needed. This is the only solid setting for us. And that is why we are called “Israel” – “Yashar Kel,” “straight to the Creator.”

Question: So, in principle, the new year is a constant thought and movement exclusively to the Creator?

Answer: It is not just constant thoughts and movements only in the new year. You’re the one making the groundwork for the whole of next year.

Question: So you do this kind of backing for the whole year? And if you put everything well and correctly, will the year roll? Will it go well?

Answer: No! It doesn’t mean anything yet. It would have been nice to pay off in the new year for the whole year! 🙂

Question: So it won’t work like this? Do you need to work constantly?

Answer: Yes, it won’t slip through.

Question: Then it turns out that every day can be a new year because every day you renew thoughts about the Creator and about the connection?

Answer: This is also true. So, this date is purely symbolic. There is nothing in this state of the Earth around the Sun and us on Earth, in general, there is nothing.

Question: What are your wishes to all people this New Year? You see how things are developing in the world. What a year we’ve had!

Answer: And it is still unknown what the new one will be like. We are facing really scary questions.

I think we should just wish humanity to be wiser. To understand what force really guides us, why such negative forces and threats arise in our world, and how we can even use them to turn ourselves in the right direction, to the right goal, to achieve unity, and in this unity discover the eternal great meaning.

The Ability to Laugh at Yourself

246Comment: You say that humor is especially inherent in Jews.

My Response: Jewish humor where people laugh at themselves is welcomed in Kabbalah, and therefore, it has penetrated into all Jewish literature, art, and worldview.

To some extent, this is also the case with the British. I have not observed such a feature in other peoples. It is very rare to find small, narrow zones in the culture of peoples where they laugh at themselves.

Most societies do not like it, they like to glorify themselves. All their anecdotes are based on their own praise. It seems to me that this speaks of some of their underdevelopment. They lack a sense of their own real place, and therefore they have to cheer themselves up all the time.

The English have a very particular humor, which does not exclude jokes about themselves. This also happens among some other peoples, but usually it is something specific, very narrow, for example, stinginess, frivolity, or impatience, meaning some distinct personality traits that are ridiculed.

And the Jews have it all over. All the character traits of an ordinary person are exaggerated and presented as common, typical, and ethnic. Moreover, all this is retold, encouraged, and inflated by the Jews themselves.

This suggests that the people are free from the need to showing themselves, they do not have a feeling of inferiority. That is, this is our nature, this is us, this is how I am, and that’s it.

The centuries-old development of the people, in general, gives such grounds. Whatever we do, the phenomenon itself exists. Therefore, I can make fun of everything, including my most terrible states.

A New Universe of Goodness

935After all the suffering that the Jewish people endured, including losing a third of its population in the Holocaust, we still continue to develop in our egoistic desire to enjoy and do not want to think about the causes of the destruction that occurred. The heart becomes harder and harder and it cannot be softened even by suffering.

Everyone dreams only of hiding in some safe, comfortable place where they can live well quietly and so that no one touches them. They cannot rise above this animal welfare to the human level and realize that it is necessary to come out of this shelter to connect with everyone, to build a new state in the world, a fresh atmosphere, and attract a new light into the world.

Humanity is obliged to be united and even if we only start to connect a little in the tens, the world will begin to change.

It is enough to see how the universe began, from the fact that after the Big Bang, individual particles of matter began to gather together and converge more and more until stars and planets were formed from them. We need to try to get together like this.

We are building such a connection in the international Bnei Baruch group so that everyone understands our connection can become the central point of the world around which a field of positive force of the whole reality will arise. In this way we will move toward the correction of the world.

“Why Aren’t You Building the Third Temple?”

448.10Today we see how quickly everything is changing. We are trying to tell people about the world they are entering, the kind of world that is descending upon us, that it is completely new and has never existed throughout the history of mankind.

The network descending upon us is the clear governance of the Creator. But when it comes into contact with people, it conflicts with us because we are its absolute opposite. Moreover, we are its opposite in all possible n-dimensional connections.

Therefore, we find ourselves at a loss.

Question: If the people of Israel fulfill their mission, will the attitude of other nations change toward them?

Answer: The world subconsciously pays attention to this nation. As soon as the Jews begin to change, the whole world will be watching what is happening. You will feel it yourself. Nothing else is needed. But try to make these people do anything! This is a huge problem!

Nevertheless, if the Jews start to change for the better, and openly declare: “We are doing this to set an example for everyone,” people will see that it is for their benefit, everyone will see that they are doing what is required. They will finally understand!

In 1993, while traveling in America, I met a German man in the small town of Jackson in the northern United States who was also traveling with his wife. He was in his fifties. You could tell he was a blue-collar worker, with his rough hands, and far from a refined intellectual.

We talked for a while, and when he found out that I was from Israel and an expert on Kabbalah, he asked: “Tell me, why aren’t you building a Third Temple?”

A German, a simple worker, whom I met by chance in America!

“Why aren’t you building a Third Temple?”

That is, you live in Israel, you study Kabbalah, you are a Jew and all. To hear this from such a person! I didn’t even know what to say to him and answered only one thing: “The Third Temple should be in the heart. The Third Temple is unity.” He understood me. So I added: “But no one wants it, no one is pushing for it.”

It’s quite interesting: people have some kind of inner need, some kind of feeling. If only you start showing the world that we are transforming it, that we must do it—let’s do it together, let them join us, and get closer, then people will understand.

They cannot naturally have internal resistance to this, because everything is done by the Creator, you only strengthen His influence in the same direction rather than the opposite.

Jews and Humor

078Question: Jews have a very insightful humor that is understandable to an ordinary person. For example, Russian satirist Mikhail Zhvanetsky had such a mindset that he did not just make stupid jokes like a bunch of other humorists, but rather he very subtly, competently, and sensitively notices everything. Is it because he is Jewish?

Answer: Without a doubt. There are such humorists not only in Russia. The greatest Polish humorist Jerzy Lec is also a Jew. Take other countries, they are also mostly Jews.

The development and ability of the brain to be in opposite states and produce absurdities, or conversely, to combine opposite things is natural among Jews since they are characterized by the natural readiness for spiritual development where everything is built on the opposition of similarity or on the similarity of oppositions.

After all, we must connect plus and minus, the force of bestowal and the force of reception, with the help of resistance, screen, reflected light, and ascent above our egoism. Egoism is below and we are above it, but they are connected together in one system. This is what humor is.

You come to good, bestowal, and love, and there is an evil nature inside you that you cover with laughter with the help of an opposite attitude to it. No wonder Sarah said: “The Creator made me laugh.” This spiritual action, connecting two opposites, is what we have in the spiritual vessel.

Therefore Jews are naturally predisposed to this. But all the same, other peoples also have these manifestations. This suggests that such individuals are also close to spirituality and they have a great ability to attain the upper world, for instance, Jerome K. Jerome, O. Henry, and others.

We Have Nothing to Hide

555We need to properly prepare dissemination among the people.

I hope that big changes will begin to take place in the people in the near future. An individual will become more independent of himself and will be able to hear that he has a real purpose that religion calls “love your neighbor.”

It actually this that it consists of and not only the performance of all kinds of inert rituals. I’m not against them, because they do keep people, but at the same time holds them back. That shouldn’t be the case.

Rituals gather people into some kind of framework and for thousands of years they have been forming and supporting them. Everyone in our world has them and it is impossible without them because in this way egoism gets satisfaction from being like an animal in a stall.

But when people are reborn, the higher management, the Creator, shows them that we should behave differently. Moreover, this is clearly shown through all the problems since the beginning of the 20th century: the Holocaust, the formation of the Jewish state, the opportunity to organize ourselves in a different way, to really start building a third temple in the heart, and then to engage in world correction, as billions of people subconsciously expect from us.

We have to be open. We have nothing to hide. Over the years of the existence of Bnei Baruch from the 90s to our time, we have created a huge media space: books, videos, and audios in all languages. Please come and take it because all our sources are open. You just have to go in and work with them.
