Comment: I notice that people become more patient with time. Even overly active students who used to shout, try to prove something, and lead revolutions became calmer. They began to understand that it is not about external changes but internal ones.

My Response: Today the world is so well disposed to attain the Creator, to reveal Him, which is simply amazing! All the circumstances surrounding us help push us forward. And what else is there to do in this world?

Twenty years ago it was still impossible to talk to people about Kabbalah. Thirty years ago they didn’t care about us at all. What do you do? Is the world created to think about some high matters? “Grab everything you can! Whoever has a longer yacht has succeeded in life.” And now this all passes away. Some kind of realization is coming.

Of course there is a need to occupy life with something. People get carried away and  play with everything like boys in the yard, do this, and this, or that, in order to occupy themselves. They need excitement; they need a sense of life! It is just a pity that they feel this life for themselves in the form of a game. And there are people who are malnourished, do not know where they will lay their head, and so on. That is such a theater.

So this is a problem. However, according to the people who come to me, I see that they really feel that the world is not the same anymore. But it is they who are not the same! What about the world? Does the sun not shine?

Of course everything is changing. Look at the ecological situation! We see what is happening in the world. These are the first small waves of a hurricane, a cyclone, or a storm that is approaching us and will be flooding us. And humanity will not be able to do anything, even if it throws all its strength at it! Nothing!

Subsequently, it will discover that our desire and our thoughts are the greatest weapon in the world that is able to resist or cause any changes in the world. If we think well, and for us it is like thinking about a white elephant (it is almost impossible), yet if we somehow come to this state, then we will survive. And if not, then we will drown, die, and burn.

This is the problem; I have to think well, but I can’t. How should we act in this case? Here is where people will face the necessity to change themselves.

Each and every individual will understand that his own benefit and the benefit of the collective are one and the same, and by this, the world will come to its full correction (Baal HaSulam, “The Peace“). 

It may seem to someone that we are talking about communism or socialism here, but in fact, the wisdom of Kabbalah explains the general law of nature according to which all of nature is connected and linked in an integral form where everyone depends on everyone.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains how we can influence general nature in order to benefit each element of nature as well as its general force, which is called the Creator.

Call it socialism or communism, it does not matter, but the general law of integral nature initially operates throughout the universe. There is only one force that acts, connects everything, and leads to complete unity. All parts of nature are connected to each other, and we have no right to pull them out of this integral dependence originally established in nature.

Therefore we have to study this law and know how to implement it without making any amendments of our own that seem more convenient and beneficial to us. Our task is to study the laws of nature and follow them. This advice is given to us by the wisdom of Kabbalah, and those who follow this advice will certainly succeed.

After the final correction, all humanity will unite in such a way that everyone will understand their destiny and the entire reality will be clearly revealed to us from end to end; that is, the Creator will be revealed to everyone. We will live in a clear, transparent world, and we will know how to correctly exist in mutual cooperation and unity, in an embrace with each other, and not only people, but in general all inanimate nature, plants, and animals.

In the News (The Guardian): “Five of the world’s most powerful nations have agreed that “a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought” in a rare joint pledge to reduce the risk of such a conflict ever starting.

Question: Trillions of dollars are spent on the arms race, and such sweet letters are swiftly signed: “We are against the arms race. We are for stopping it” (whatever you want). What kind of papers are these?

Answer: Everything that is written and said is said only for the people and nothing more. The people will swallow it all and everything will move on.

In principle, all this is done in order to stay in power, to keep stealing, plundering, controlling, and ruling. Almost everyone has one goal: “I want to stay in power. I need it; it is profitable, it is convenient… and after us, the deluge.”

Question: Tell me please, do people want to hear it?

Answer: Yes they do. That is why they sell it to them.

Question: At what point will it no longer be a sale, and we will really reach a place where, with pain in our hearts and with great desire, we will sign such a paper that we do not want, God forbid, some kind of nuclear war to take place? What would have to happen in the world?

Comment: In our world a person is judged by his achievements in society, to what status he reaches.

My Response: To what status? Sometimes I watch the news on TV channels and that’s it. All other programs talk about all kinds of frauds, murders, punishments, about the army—everything is forceful. The triumph of power is promoted: here we are him, and he is us, who will crush whom, and so on.

Is it really possible to educate the population about this?! Not even just to educate, but somehow to nurture a new generation.

What kind of person do you end up with? We have no idea what we are doing with society at the same time! Or is this the state program? Maybe it’s called freedom: Do what you want?! This is terrible!

And the Internet is not a free field either. They are led by serious forces; the state should think about what is happening in the field of the Internet. There are laws for its development, switching, and management. Or does the state think it’s OK to have so many porn sites there? It is an unreasonable approach! This also affects a person!

Of course, things like violence and murder, should be mentioned but in a very limited way so that we can see that there are such things. People need to be educated! Man is an animal. Once he climbed down from a tree, but today he is worse than in those days.

So where is this government policy?! Any parliament in the world deals only with internal bruising and nothing else. Look at the structure of the world, what selfishness has brought us to!

I’m not against crime films. But these should be isolated cases from which you can learn something, and not shown on all channels. By watching all this, negative examples are deposited in our brain, and we are already acting on these patterns: This is how I saw it in this film. These pictures pop up in a person, and he realizes them. This is the current upbringing.

Comment: There is a parable about a frog who got stuck in the mud in a rut. No matter how hard she tried to get out, nothing worked. Friends tried to help to no avail, they failed.

In the evening, the exhausted friends went home and left their friend to the will of fate and were sure that they would come the next day, and she would no longer be there.

How similar it is to our world, that we have to approach such a disaster that will simply crush us!

My Response: The awareness.

Question: Yes, and only then will we get out. You say that there is a path of goodness, and there is a path of suffering. We are on the path of suffering. Meaning, we should be crushed, and only then will we come to something good?

Answer: Yes. At the last step. Otherwise, we will not want to get rid of egoism. There must still be an ideological basis here, the solution to the problem is at its root—for what will we get rid of atomic weapons.

We must get rid of our desire to suppress, destroy, and dominate others. The desire to receive, the desire to suppress another is pure egoism. That is what we have to get rid of. This means, to come from hatred to love.

Such a turn is practically impossible. Only through the revelation of evil. And the revelation of evil can really only be global and only a free decision.

Question: So, we, like this frog, are in a rut? The cart is coming, and we still don’t care about it?

Answer: Yes. Moreover, we look at others, what would they do? Let them be the first to get scared and start doing something. But I hope that today’s situation also determines something.

Answer: Yes.

In our time, a hierarchy has formed in the world where there are only a dozen families or people who control the world and do everything they wish for themselves. It seems like they have boundless abilities, they are controlling humanity and limiting it from obtaining true information.

In addition, they limit us from getting medication, normal food, and cheap energy that could have been used a long time ago instead of oil, and they are doing this based on their egoism and their position.

Nothing about this can be done differently until humanity rises to such a degree of internal integration that it starts feeling the upper force, the upper governance. Only then will the world stop being controlled by a handful of people. They will not be able to stand in the way of the upper governance and limit our world in its positive development.

Of course, these people themselves are also angels; meaning, they are governed by the upper force. They are like a shadow of our flaws. When we begin to unite among ourselves, we thereby neutralize them. But for now, in our disconnection, in our egoism, it is as if we are sustaining them, we are their power source, and we are creating the conditions for their existence.

My Response: No! If he is close, but I hate him, I do not like him, and I do not somehow correspond to him, or him to me, then egoism is manifested to a great extent between us. As Vladimir writes, close countries especially hate each other.

Question: What conclusion can we draw here? At what point can close people become really close? Anyway, they are pushed to face the fact that they are close, after all.

Answer: Only love! Otherwise, if they just coexist side by side, it is an underdeveloped society, a society with underdeveloped egoism.

Question: In principle, if we are talking about countries, should the governments develop only love?

Answer: Yes.

Question: What do you mean by this word?

Question: The Doomsday Clock symbolizes how close we are to a nuclear catastrophe (how much time to midnight). Midnight signifies the moment of nuclear catastrophe. In 1953 we were very close to that, two minutes to nuclear catastrophe. This was during the development of nuclear weapons in the US and the Soviet Union.

Today, the hands of the clock are 90 seconds away from midnight. This means there are 90 seconds until midnight. The clock readings are calculated annually by 15 Nobel laureates.

We understand and see where this can lead. We see the consequences of the disaster; we have been shown footage of this all the time. But we are not afraid of anything. Somehow it does not frighten us. Why?

Answer: It is because we live with it, we got used to it. Also we did not experience it firsthand, and whatever happened in the past was a long time ago. It is human nature to forget everything and live by today.

Question: Do you think you have to live in Nagasaki to remember and be afraid?

Answer: I think they are not afraid today either.

Question: Is there a mechanism in us that says that nothing will happen or “I don’t care about anything”?

The proliferation of weapons has taken on a widespread fascination, significance, and growth. Therefore, according to all this, the world indeed is very close to nuclear war, on the one hand.

On the other hand, many people understand that, in general, it is the end of this entire era, which, although marked by a nuclear arms race, was still peaceful.

Question: We always say, “The upper force, the Creator.” Why is He showing it all to us? Why is He unleashing all this?

Answer: So that we think about ourselves.

Comment: But we think about ourselves all the time.

My Response: No, we do not think about ourselves. If we thought of ourselves, we would not behave this way.

Question: What should we do?

Answer: Imagine there are two fighting factions where you live and everyone is in this atmosphere. What should they do? Naturally they would want to get rid of these two militant groups.

Comment: And live peacefully.

My Response: At least peacefully. Certainly not under a threat of war which can ignite every moment.

Question: And yet, why does the upper force, the Creator, allow such a thing?

Answer: So we understand that everything we do, we do badly. We are the ones who bring ourselves to such a state with our egoism. We do everything out of egoistic considerations that do not allow for anything other than suppressing another. Any concerns for what happens to this person are turned off.

Question: So egoism is not against its own destruction or being destroyed?

Answer: No, it is not against it because it will still exist in some form.

Question: So we have to come to understand this evil?

Answer: The evil is in the ego itself. That is the main thing. So the intensity will grow higher and higher until we realize it.

Question: You are saying that to stop the arms race we have to understand the evil of egoism?

Answer: Yes. It is quite possible that there will be a thermonuclear war. After that, humanity will gather and perhaps will even be able to adjust itself correctly in this quiet period after a nuclear war.

We will see how it unfolds. Baal HaSulam did not rule out the second, a third, and even a fourth world war.

Question: He thought the ego to be so resilient that it is the only way to destroy it or break free of it?

Answer: Yes.

As a person develops, he changes not for the better or for the worse, but toward a sharper understanding of the state in which he is. As a result, we really realize that all our movements and all our development come only from our egoism, which has no future. We will nevertheless have to part with it and see that the future is only in the forces of bestowal and connection. Our egoism should lead us to this conclusion, and this is why it is called help against you.

Do not count on governments suddenly realizing the destructive evil of egoism and ending wars. To the government come those who are one hundred percent egoistic, and therefore they are not capable of such awareness. Awareness requires two opposite foundations in a person, at least some grains of goodness. But once a person gets to the level of a ruler, the last drops of goodness absolutely disappear in him, and only one aspiration remains: to rule more and more. Therefore, it is impossible to directly influence the rulers, but we can influence the Creator who will already do what is necessary with them.

If our worldwide Kabbalistic group, in the volume that exists today, all the men and women, feel the force of connection between us and within it our connection with the Creator, then this will be enough to turn the world around.

The world does not need much. There are billions of people in it, but their desires are very small, and therefore they cannot do anything themselves. However, the desire of Kabbalists to connect with each other and connect around themselves all of humanity through good relationships is thousands, billions, of times greater than all the egoistic qualities and connections that exist in the world.

Therefore, we only need to take care of how to become representatives of good relationships to everything, that is, representatives of the Creator at the level of our world. Then everything will be great. We just need to build a strong, devoted connection between us. When we really feel that we exist in one heart, we will be able to go out into the world, and the world will feel the force of good emanating from us that is so urgently needed by it as it is the only force capable of correcting the world.

Question: Why was English chosen as the language of international communication?

Answer: At one time England fought with Germany for the spread of influence on the American territory, and such prerequisites were created that the German language was supposed to prevail. As a result, today we would have seen the whole world speaking German.

But the upper management took such a turn that the world went along the English branch of culture, although it is not far from the German one. It is just more open, less closed.

The Germans wanted to enslave everyone by force, and the British, basically, planted their own culture, their own language, and therefore, they spread in a completely different way. The Germans did not have a goal to discover new lands and settle there. Their goal was only to enslave and crush.

And the English attitude to the world, to the discovery of new lands, was more preferable and softer, and therefore it prevailed. As a result, English is closer to being corrected as an international language than German.

And where is the German language used except for Germany itself and some countries around it? Nowhere. And this despite the fact that German culture has always prevailed in Europe. English, Austrian, and Hungarian kings were from Germany. In the end, these are all Germanic peoples.

Previously, there were a lot of all kinds of Germanic tribes that united not so long ago. But today it doesn’t matter anymore.

Question: What is the next, correct way to merge?

Answer: Now there will no longer be a path of unity across peoples, nationalities, and languages. The next path is a general forced unification, from which we cannot escape.

And Kabbalah will spread spiritually as a spiritual culture. People will be drawn to it no matter where they are because, due to their inner need, they will feel that they need it.
