Will AI Enslave Us?

962.7Comment: Tesla CEO Elon Musk and a thousand other experts have signed an open letter to suspend development of advanced artificial intelligence (AI). They wrote:

“Contemporary AI systems are now becoming human-competitive at general tasks, and we must ask ourselves: Should we let machines flood our information channels with propaganda and untruth? Should we automate away all the jobs, including the fulfilling ones? Should we develop nonhuman minds that might eventually outnumber, outsmart, obsolete and replace us? Should we risk loss of control of our civilization? Such decisions must not be delegated to unelected tech leaders. Powerful AI systems should be developed only once we are confident that their effects will be positive and their risks will be manageable” (“Pause Giant AI Experiments: An Open Letter“).

These are the questions they are asking.

My Response: We have finally reached the point of discussing the rise of machines.

Question: Yes, we have seen it before. We used to destroy machines, and now we want to destroy artificial intelligence.

How do you feel about this? In general, is this fantasy so real that they could surpass us?

Answer: These people have stakes in this, Elon Musk and others. Therefore, I do not know about what they write. But, in general, of course, there will be competition.

Any computer is a competitor of a thousand people it frees from work. So, there is nothing you can do about it. But we will not fight it as they did in England several hundred years ago by destroying machinery.

Question: You believe we should not destroy them?

Answer: No, we should not. You will achieve nothing. Progress must take place.

Question: But tell us, why are we given these opportunities to create such machines, such artificial intelligence?

Answer: To begin working on ourselves! By ourselves! So that we put these artificial machines in our place. Let them do all the work.

And we would work on ourselves, on changing our nature from egoistic to altruistic.

Question: So you believe all this progress, which is significant progress, artificial intelligence, and all progress in general, all the simplification of human labor and transitioning it to the machines, is happening so we can reflect on ourselves and start working on ourselves?

Answer: Yes, so we can stop working on the machines and can start working on ourselves.

Question: But was it not egoism that created this artificial intelligence?

Answer: Egoism created everything. Everything around us is egoism.

Comment: Yes, but it creates something that can destroy itself. That is what is interesting!

Answer: Nothing will destroy it. It only allows us to use our opportunities well, correctly.

Question: Are you talking about the correct use of egoism now?

Answer: Yes, so I do not see anything bad about it thus far. Later, we will realize egoism is an evil force of nature the Creator purposely created to show us its opposite side. And we will come to the realization of transformation, of correcting the ego to its next form—the quality of love and bestowal.

Question: Ultimately, you say you favor all this development that will lead us to this state?

Answer: Yes, I’m in favor of the robot uprising.

Egoism Leads Nowhere

115.05Question: Regarding the development of technology, will we step into the maximum that humanity can step into?

Answer: No, we won’t take another step. People will stop getting carried away with it. Look at how all kinds of space programs are being curtailed. So what if we reach the moon? Are we going to bring moonstones here from there? Why?!

There is no intelligent life anywhere else anyway. What are you looking for in the universe?! Inanimate nature? You’ll find it. You will find some fragment, like a diamond on Earth, and then what do you do with it?

That is why people turn away from these programs. The hype with space is over. We’ve circled around the earth and that’s enough.

Space flights will continue for the time being, but only as trips for the general public. As we fly back and forth on vacation on airplanes, so we will fly on spaceships. The shuttle will be set up, and we’ll be around there all the time. You’ll jump into orbit for a weekend, spin around for two days, and go back down to earth. There will be such a trend. And then, that’s it.

What else? They will develop, for example, miniature mobile phones that will stick right out of your tooth, and everything you need will be typed by voice. Such power fields will be anywhere in the world, that you will be able to create a screen on which you can work by moving your hand in the air. Power lines will pass in such a way that you can make this screen at any angle and see and hear everything on it.

And what’s next?! A man remains a man! A toy is a toy, even if it is more cool, more comfortable—and what’s the point of it?! What fulfillment will it bring?

Question: Why did they develop these toys then?

Answer: This is how our egoism develops so that we understand that all this is a useless move leading to nowhere, into emptiness.

What is the technology given for? What should I fill it with?! Why am I given the opportunity to communicate with all the people in the world?! What am I going to do with them? Watch pictures in 3D, in 5D, about some kind of alien beasts or ghouls? How much can you build up?! A person will run out of egoism. He will just turn away from it.

This is where the problem arises: how should a firm earn money? Therefore they rage. They don’t know where to turn.

There is only one way out: up, into a higher space in the next dimension. The alternative is war.

3Question: Where has pacifism gone?! Where is it?! Throughout the 20th century it went  along with the century and developed more and more.

Answer: Where was this pacifism developing? In the First World War, in the Second World War?! The arms race, all these seizures, in Indochina, and wherever else they happened! Revolutions in Cuba, I can list many such things!

Question: But pacifism tried to prevent a Third World War. There were hippie movements, the Beatles, and Angela Davis. Carnations were inserted into weapons and machine guns. Today no one will write A Farewell to Arms like Hemingway, they will not paint The Apotheosis of War.

Answer: I think we have reached a point where the world has realized that everything is over. Enough talking, what is really needed is, if not to disarm, then to thoroughly rein in all the military and politicians.

Through their games, the rattling of weapons, and the desire to show which of them is stronger, like the boys playing in the yard, they bring us to such a state that it is impossible to live with them anymore.

Question: Does it mean that if earlier it used to be just in words, but today it is in deeds so we seem not to hear the pacifists?

Answer: Today there is no such thing because people realized that this should be much more serious. Carnations, flowers, are not enough.

Comment: This is the first time you have had such an optimistic view of the world. The world can think.

My Response: Recognition of evil.

Question: Is this the recognition of evil?

Answer: Of course.

Question: What will we get to? My question is about the future.

Answer: That it is impossible to live like this. What will happen to us in the end?

Question: Will we get to why this is happening? Why is it developing like this?

Answer: People can hear about it already today, but only hear and not make decisions to eradicate the source of this evil.

Question: Is egoism the source of evil, one way or another?

Answer: Of course, this is our egoism. There is no way to escape this fact. Therefore, there is nothing we can do.

Question: Are you saying that people will be able to hear that the source of evil is egoism, but they will not be able to do anything about it yet?

Answer: The fact is that they will not hear that the source of evil is egoism. But they will hear that these are better, those are worse, these are this way, and those are that way, and still all these clashes will lead somehow to war. But we need something completely different.

We need to tell them that there is no need to say that someone is less intelligent or more intelligent, less developed or more developed, someone descended from some cave dwellers 200,000 years ago, and someone else 2,000 years ago lived in a cave.

We do not need this. This will give nothing but anger and a new arms race.

Question: Then what should I, a person, do?

Answer: See what the future might be like. Kabbalah does not consider people, who is worse, who is better, who is in this way, who is in that way. It says it is clear who all of you are—complete egoists.

We all need to rise above our egoism, everyone above his own. Then everyone will be fine. There is no other solution!

Comment: So when you say everyone should rise above their egoism, you somehow say that I must change.

My Response: Me and everyone else. We all must help each other mutually with how to rise above our nature. We all have the same nature. It does not matter who is developed more and who is developed less.

A person will come to this. Here we need to understand that there is a method, there is such a party, and we need to listen to it. Then the world will slowly begin to change.

Comment: There is a big load on us! The whole world.

My Response: There is such a party, friends!

Consequences of the Technological Revolution

959Question: Why did humanity gradually erase the edge of feeling the spiritual world and then we began to develop egotistically?

Answer: This is because egoism has surged up! The technological revolution began. A person began to develop various technologies and forgot himself in them, started playing with toys, as he is losing himself playing with iPads and everything else today, as if his whole life is in playing in pictures with music.

Nature hammers a person in a person, makes him be a child. Look at what is happening in the world! There are no adults, a person does not want to grow up, he plays all his life.

He doesn’t need a family, he doesn’t need anything, he wants to travel, work a little, and have fun. And this is so until the end of one’s life.

Women still realistically relate to life. They give birth without men and raise children. And, thank God, that our time gives them the opportunity to be financially independent. And men play with toys and remain children. This is what technology has done to us.

Progress That Leads To Regression

The World Is One Big Village

115.05Question: What is history from the point of view of Kabbalah?

Answer: It is the development of egoism.

History is the development of the simplest egoism, which gradually increases from small, individual, family, like in animals, to communal, urban, state, and finally global.

Accordingly, we see the struggles of people at the same level. First, the settlements fought with each other, then small disparate states. Then they united because it was necessary to unite in the fight until they reached the current state.

Now egoism shows us that we are in a useless fight with each other, that we are connected with each other. At the same time full mutual interconnection is revealed, and therefore we raise our hands: “What to do?”

If one country closes and then another, unpredictable phenomena will begin in the world. The world does not realize that it will come to a standstill and that is it. You will not be able to turn on air conditioners or heating, there will be no international connection, nothing. The whole world will just stop.

What does the world have? If today it does not receive a couple of tankers with oil, then it will only have strategic reserves for as long as they last in each country. That is it. We are sitting on an oil needle, not to mention other needles. If there is no fuel, who will deliver food to various countries?

We have no idea how interconnected we are, how fragile it all is. Today there can be no world war because no country provides for itself. I am not talking about any frills, but about the essentials.

Today, living on the twentieth floor, you cannot live as you once did in the village, where you had your own garden, your own cellar, planted potatoes and cabbage, and you were ok; you provided yourself with everything. It is not like that any longer.

I remember my childhood in the small town of Vitebsk with a population of a quarter of a million people. We had a small plot and a large cellar where, like everyone else, we kept potatoes, cabbage, garlic, and onions. All this was prepared for a year so that the family would not starve.

This was the case for most of the population. Today no one has that. Imagine huge residential areas and cities with a population of over a million. What will you feed them? There will be pestilence all over the earth. We do not realize what will happen if a couple of large countries suddenly cease to function.

552.03Comment: There are people who believe that by creating their own infrastructure, meaning building a house, planting a garden with a vegetable patch, etc., will allow them to survive in a dysfunctional world.

My Response: There is no returning to the caves. There are too many of us, it will not work.

I have rich friends who live in England who built themselves a bomb shelter, planted a vegetable garden around it, and feel they have provided themselves for the future.

Nothing will help! The Creator’s plan is such that you cannot predict anything in advance. Moreover, what is destined for you will happen anyway, one way or the other.

Income Growth for Every Third Inhabitant of the Planet

051Comment: The largest trade agreement in history was forged between 15 countries during the pandemic. The main goal of the RCEP is to smooth the path of trade among the 15 Asia-Pacific nations and eventually pave the way for a comprehensive free-trade zone, in the style of the European Union or the old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a trade pact between 15 nations in the Asia-Pacific region. In total it covers more than 2 billion people — about 30% of the world’s population. It promises income growth to every third inhabitant of the planet and gives hope for the revival of world trade and cooperation. The agreement united China and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, Japan, and South Korea.

The agreement allows trading partners in Asia to gain access to each other’s markets, reduces duties on goods, and improves living standards, especially for the poorest countries in the region.

Why not live like this? They set noble goals, however egoistic, but nevertheless, to provide income for people who are poor today, having nothing.

Answer: Yes, of course, people live badly there.

Question: Why do all the leaders not rise above their pride, join one union, and start slowly reviving our world, which is falling economically all the time?

Answer: I do not think it is possible. I do not even hope that they will have it all as rosy as they write. Someone has to win at the expense of someone who loses.

This is our world! Therefore, agreements are agreements, but then politics comes into play, petty egoism, and that is it.

Question: So, will we not be able to live normally in this world?

Answer: No. We will not. And these good impulses, they are all not really good. The point is, at the expense of what will they win? At the expense of whom will they win?

Question: Do you think one way or another, I have to suppress someone?

Answer: Our world is created this way.

Comment: They say that these are equal agreements.

My Response: That is what they always say: mutually beneficial conditions, mutual trade, and the welfare of nations.

Question: Tell me, please which union will work?

Answer: The one that has a different goal: to lead people to unity, to rise above themselves, above their egoism, above their nature. Otherwise, nothing will work.

Question: So, my goal, that I want to give welfare to a third or half of the world’s population, to the whole world, will not work anyway?

Answer: No.

Question: Should there be a goal for the people of the world to be able to unite?

Answer: Yes. Such a goal is in a state of good balance with the global force of nature, with the general development of mankind. Then, of course, it will work.

Question: Can you imagine leaders who say: “We are now uniting in order to…”?

Answer: They will explain that there is no reception against scrap, one cannot stand against nature. It turns out that going against this basic law of nature is like stepping back on some kind of rake. From this side or from a different side, under some other pretexts, it does not matter.

Question: So if people do not change, will they be like wolves to one another or be in competition with one another?

Answer: They are initially wolves. And they will not cover it with some good external affairs. This will come out and lead them to something bigger, perhaps, war among themselves.

Question: You are saying, if we are wolves, then we cannot achieve anything in this world?

Answer: Nothing. Only by suppressing each other, only by towering one above the other. We must play on our egoism.

Question: Whom does the wolf have to become for everything to happen? So that everything will be fine?

Answer: He must understand his wolf’s nature and also understand that in our time we cannot act in any other way but to become aware of our nature, and together, gradually counter it. It is not easy, but at least we must admit it.

Question: What would you advise these leaders in such a situation, in this world? If they were listening to you, what would you say? Start with yourselves?

Answer: Yes, start with yourself. Explain to each other, and write a general memorandum of your intentions and how you expect them to come true. This is possible only if you move alongside the development of nature so that your development coincides with its development.

We see how for millions of years, with humanity it has been for thousands of years, nature develops us egotistically and at the same time creates such conditions that we are obliged to somehow cope with this egoism, to balance it. And if not, then by war.

So, we have no choice but to first understand our nature, what state we are in, and what should be the path of our development—to realize that there must be a rapprochement between us above egoism.

Question: Is this your advice to leaders?

Answer: Yes. To admit that we are all egoists. It is not that hard. But the fact that we must work on it and get closer to each other is already a problem. How can we see ourselves rising above egoism and acting despite it? How can we weaken the egoistic ties between us and replace them with some altruistic ties, equal, which are based on mutual understanding, on mutual rapprochement? This is not easy.

Question: Would the law of mutual guarantee, which we are talking about, suit them? Can this be included in the memorandum?

Answer: In principle, it is implied that we will act in mutual assistance.

Question: Mutual assistance to what?

Answer: Economic mutual assistance, which stipulates global development, so that there is no one at the expense of others anywhere so that no one suppresses one another.

And how is this possible if we are in a closed space, in a closed world? We must initially define for ourselves the norms of our behavior, each relative to all. That is, it is like a group of 15 people who must work out some kind of system to come closer to each other.

Question: And if they decided to build some kind of common territory in which everyone will, in general, be happy with this connection, then should they follow these laws?

Answer: They must develop the population. They must explain to the population that the future of the world is in the good connection between people, otherwise there will be war, and in our time it can destroy them in a second.

A good connection is necessary in order not to lead these 15 countries to a fierce war, in which they have already been each in their own way, but now it can explode in general. So, this commonwealth will split into many different small communities that will start fighting among themselves, pulling the blanket, and that will be the end of it.

Comment: That is, this is the aspiration for a good connection.

My Response: Who will lead this good connection? Who will promote it, who understands what this kind of connection means? Who will counteract the egoistic individual politicians, each of whom, in turn, wants to climb above everyone and sit on everyone’s heads? This is the nature of our world. Who leads these countries? The biggest egoists.

Therefore, I do not know. Personally, I look at all this, just so it will not all explode.

If they do not follow the path of proper education of the population of their 15 countries, then in the end they will see how angry they are at each other, how much their inner egoism does not allow them to be in connection, even slightly, with each other, and eventually a trade war, a political war, will begin, and then the real war.

Question: So there is only one way—education?

Answer: Only education, changing a person.

A Sensory Connection Rising From Within

284.06Question: You say that over time we will not need an Internet connection, but only an internal, sensory one. What is it? Let’s say I’m several continents away from you, how will we connect through our senses instead of through Facebook or Skype for example?

Answer: You will not feel the need for an Internet connection. You will feel the need to rise from it to a more internal connection with each other. What is the use of me texting you? Because there is an inner desire to be in a closer connection (not virtual, but spiritual) when we feel each other telepathically. We are simply connected by this network.

Question: How can we uncover this telepathic network?

Answer: It is through desire, through mutual desire.

Usually such a desire exists in a mother with a child. She feels what is happening to him because she loves him, strives for him, and wants to feel him all the time. They have an open animal root between them (not spiritual, but animal) because she gave birth to him. At one point he was in her; a little creature was born out of her, and she feels it.

Question: How will such a desire be revealed to everyone?

Answer: On the account of it rising from within us. It also develops within us. After all, in comparison with inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, we are developing, and will inevitably have to reveal this connection that initially exists between us in ourselves. Now it is still manifested on a low level as a connection of hatred, a desire to use each other, but in the end it will manifest itself in a different way.

Question: So this is a natural evolutionary process. Will it not depend on the person himself?

Answer: No, it will depend very much on the person. Otherwise, if this process goes by the way of evolution, it will be forced and painful, when nature will push us forward with a roller of development as it has been forcing us for millions of years.

If we want to go faster, not by the stick toward happiness, but with awareness, then we must understand nature, anticipate its next pressures on us, and help ourselves in this development. It is like an intelligent child who understands what is required of him and performs everything in advance, without expecting punishment. And punishment is not punishment, but simply coercion to correct development.

Desires of a Kabbalist

294.2Question: What are your desires as a Kabbalist?

Answer: To see the world corrected. Really. After all, a sense of hopelessness awakens today in the world more and more. Of course, this is terrible and disturbing because hopelessness threatens us with a terrible explosion.

People do not understand what kind of explosion this is when humanity will simply burn. A person cannot extinguish himself; he will slowly burn out. Moreover, this is not just a physical fire, but a slow burning out from the inside, like with radiation from the consequences of nuclear explosions. This is horrible. A person will be gradually charred.

I convey these physical states in such words that we understand. Moral suffering will be much worse.
People have no idea what they are playing with. They believe that some kind of explosion is a solution. They do not understand that if such an explosion occurs, it will be too late.

I am very afraid of this. You see, I am not at the age to be afraid for myself. I feel sorry for humanity because along with this, it has a very simple, easy opportunity to bring itself to an ideal state, to eternal perfect life. Here it is in front of us, we just need to raise our heads a little.

When millions will be engaged in it, the methodology will immediately become clear. It could not be more understandable if it is the destiny of hundreds of thousands of people. But when it becomes the destiny of hundreds of millions, then it will instantly become clear for everyone.

If two hundred years ago a modern car had been shown to a person, he would not have been able to drive it. He did not have these skills: pull here, twist there, press the pedal here. Now, however, a child gets behind the wheel and drives because this is the destiny of billions of people. Therefore, it becomes the heritage of all.

Why Are We Given Communication Technologies?

600.02Question: Does modern technology, meaning mobile phones, social networks, and everything else have some kind of spiritual root? Why did technology develop in this way?

Answer: Today humanity is developing only in the direction of communication and connection with each other because it is pushed to this by the upper governance.

What difference does it make to me why I should be connected with the whole world? Why do I personally need that? I would rather eat and sleep first. Family and children are in second place. Then there is work, salary, and so on. But why do I need this whole world? Why do I need to know what is going on here? Why do I need these eight billion bugs that are just swirling about in front of me?

But the thought of the upper governance is to bring us to a state of universal interconnection. Therefore, look at what is given to people: SMS, emails, iPads, and so on and so forth. Why do we need all this?

To ensure that we were tightly connected to each other and could not get away from it. Gradually, we will discover a great emptiness in this and realize that we must change this connection. After all, we will not be able to get away from it, but we will be obliged to change it. This is what we are being led to.
