The coronavirus will impel us to reevaluate everything. First, it demonstrated how much we really need each other—by denying us physical contact and sending us to stay home. Next, it highlighted the imperfections of the economy—how unfit it is to sustain the people it is meant to sustain, how the top financial tier profiteer on the backs of everyone else, and how vital food products are thrown to the trash to keep their prices high, while more than 20 percent of American households are going hungry.

The social crisis that will unquestionably ensue will make us rethink everything. We will reevaluate relationships, work, and social values. If, until recently, we regarded ostentatious rich people as successful, we will begin to appreciate people who contribute to society. The daily applaud to health care workers on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19 is an example of this trend. The more we understand that our happiness does not depend on emulating people who boast in their self-centeredness, but on people who work hard to contribute to society, the more we will want to be like them.

It may be a hard and painful lesson to learn, but the coronavirus is gradually teaching us how to be more caring, compassionate, and, eventually, happy. COVID-19 is making us redefine our selves.

Over time, fears associated with the coronavirus pandemic are shifting from the health-related issues to the problems of unemployment and lack of food supplies. Many businesses will not survive the crisis caused by the coronavirus because there will no longer be any demand for them.

Humanity is changing; it is beginning to consider many old habits to be excessive luxuries. The UN World Food Program Council fears that the coronavirus will lead to global hunger on an unprecedented scale, as in biblical prophecies. And at the same time, the rich get even richer at the expense of everyone else.

The style of work is changing with the shift to even greater automation, energy prices are drastically falling, and the future is bringing fear and uncertainty. What is happening with the labor market and where is it headed?

The coronavirus is a force, albeit biological, which has caused great changes in us. Where does it lead us, toward what is it pushing human society? The virus makes us understand that we live in an integral society and are connected to each other.

It does not allow us to get close to each other due to the danger of transmitting harmful particles, viruses, that can infect us with a deadly disease. This is how the virus is showing us that our connections are not good, but if we fix them, we can once again live without restrictions.

Otherwise, we are unlikely to be able to return to normal life. Of course, we will try to come up with the cure for the virus in order to be able to have contact with each other as before, but it will not work.

I think that humanity will have to advance to its common, global, integral form, to the right kind of connections. Thus, nature will keep influencing us in such a way that will oblige us to realize and organize good connections between us.

Today, such a connection is already expected of us. We can try to trick nature by staying home, wearing masks, etc. But newer disturbances will be revealed until we finally understand that we must change our interrelations.

And to the extent that we change them, turn them from egoistic to altruistic and friendly, to this extent will we be able to be in contact with each other, conduct business, and earn money from each other. Our livelihood must be based on good connections rather than on selfish gain.

At the beginning of the 20th century, humanity had to live through a similar epidemic with the Spanish flu, which claimed many human lives. It also resulted in many societal changes, but it didn’t lead to such quarantine or isolation as the coronavirus has.

The big difference here is the fact that today humanity is receiving a global blow, virtually instantaneously, the epidemic has spread all over the world, sparing no country or nation. The virus is showing us that we are connected as one body. This was never the case with earlier epidemics.

We live in the new era called “the last generation,” the last egoistic generation, which must correct itself and live in kind connections as one family. And the very first thing that the coronavirus is showing us is that the whole world is one family. It may not be so clear to us, but in the next few years we will realize it. We will be able to avoid and defend against such forces of nature.

The same coronavirus has so many various consequences, which are yet to be revealed, that we should not take lightly. It is best to comply with its demands. The virus is telling us: “Start treating each other well, like one family, and I will not have to come and show you how selfish and distant you are from each other.”

The quarantine leads to unrest and tensions in society that can result in economic collapse. The epidemic deprives the world of stability and basic safety. If we do not establish good relations, that is, if we fail to solve the problem at its root, then we face an economic crisis across the board because we are connected by total dependence.

In the end, we could reach world war, which is laid in the program of nature. Nature does not know pity; it is a system of laws, and if we do not respond today and do not comply with the requirements of nature, even more powerful forces will come and compel us to work on our correction until we unite within human society as integrally as all other levels of nature: inanimate, vegetative, and animate.

A person living on earth treats his fellow humans worse than vicious wolves. And nature does not agree with this. As we are advancing, we must realize that only kind connections between us can attract good forces that will help us move forward.

By the way, wolves treat each other very well. It is we who think that a wolf is worse than man. It is a common misconception.

Question: A simple person is afraid of the coronavirus. He is afraid that his family or loved ones might get sick. He cautiously ventures into the store armed with two masks, puts them on, and makes purchases for weeks at a time. Such is man’s life. Especially since mass media keeps exacerbating the situation.

Everyone has fears. I do too. How can one live and behave in such times? How can one adapt to this virus?

Answer: Calm down, sit, stop running around.

Man is not created to run around but to sit. And contemplate: how life can be different from the one we have created for ourselves in the latter half of the 20th century? It is a slightly different kind of life when you understand what you live for. Not just run, run, run until you drop and die.

We do not know where the coronavirus came from. By the way, it does not matter anymore. Let’s just say that it is a good thing.

Question: This is your advice for a regular person?!

Answer: Yes. The virus stops us. It says: “Stop, people! Earthlings! Look at what you have done with the Earth! You destroy everything you exist on. You are destroying the nature that developed you, created you, nurtured you, the nature where you live.”

Our world was moving toward a world war. There are such states in life, even in personal life, when in the middle of it, one realizes that there is no getting out, that it will definitely end badly, an unhealthy situation one cannot come out of. This was the state we were in.

Question: Are you saying that this virus saved humanity from a world war?

Answer: Absolutely! I am convinced that if not for this virus, we would have been dealing with a war in the very near future.

Question: Are you suggesting that we should be grateful to the virus?

Answer: Of course!

Comment: I am a regular person. Avoiding a war is definitely a good reason.

My Reply: We were approaching it! We had no choice! Being egoists, we kept advancing toward a state where only war could save us so that markets or anything else would be renewed. And then again, we would start running after we destroyed everything. And again, we fall into the same routine. This is what we do.

Question: In general, I understand this issue. But what do we do with the virus?

Answer: First of all, the virus is global. This is quite surprising. Look at the interesting things that nature, or the Creator, which are the same, has up its sleeve!

Comment: Indeed. He got to everyone.

My Reply: Absolutely! And quietly so.

Comment: And before this, we had fires, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, and it always seemed that it was somewhere far away. It only concerned those who lived there and nobody else. Suddenly, this little virus… It got to everyone! Absolutely everyone! This is amazing!

My Reply: And everyone agrees with it, everyone agrees! At first, some people said: “This does not concern us! Who cares?” But as soon as it came to us, everyone humbled themselves and got ready for it.

Thus, we must understand the special mission of this virus. There is not much to say about it. We must talk about ourselves rather than the virus. Not about how to protect ourselves from it but about how to transform ourselves individually and between each other.

Comment: So, I am sitting at home in isolation with my family…

Answer: So, think of why it is acting in such a selective way. It put you in isolation with your wife and kids. You have not spent time with them in 10, 20, 30 years.

Comment: Indeed. For the first time in a while; that is true.

My Reply: And now you can find out what their names are, what each one does, what grade they are in, and how much they have grown, etc. And now you finally get to see these kids, yourself, and your wife.

Comment: This is true, actually. This is how it is in my house too. I am sitting at home for the first time in a while. I used to only drop in for a quick break.

My Reply: Poor you!

Question: No, don’t say it. And all of a sudden, I am sitting, my wife is sitting, and we begin to talk about life and things in general. We even got to what you have been saying about our lives and our future. We started having such conversations.

I also wanted to ask you about the fear that inevitably exists in man. What advice would you give? How should we work with the fear of getting infected or infecting others?

Answer: How is it different from previous viruses? Did people not die from the flu or other diseases? We simply do not talk about it because we got used to a certain number of people dying each year. So, what?

Today also, what is the percentage? I am talking about the fact that we are raising panic for a completely natural situation.

Question: Does this allude to a higher wisdom that is pressuring us all?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Comment: This truly is something from above.

Rational people say the same as you do: the flu and car accidents take thousands more lives! Although, they too stay home. They also write, but they too are affected by it! The virus is inside them! What is it about this upper governance? What does it want?

My Reply: It is not something that the virus transmits to me. It penetrates me through my mind, through inner feelings! It is that kind of a virus. It works in our mind and our heart. This is why we have a different attitude toward it. Well, what is there? I drank half a bottle of vodka and forgot about it. This is different. Beginning with high ranking officials, presidents, down to the people who clean the streets, everyone is stricken by its power. And not because the virus infected or killed anyone.

Question: And this is not because the mass media is making it worse?

Answer: No! They think that they are doing it. There are many conspiracy theories today about where it came from, and the Internet, I suppose, must be full of it,.

Comment: Full of all this nonsense! So many theories, you cannot even imagine. While you insist that this is a targeted.

My Reply: This is done to shake up humanity, like a child. You shake him up to get all the nonsense out of his head so that he would listen and act differently.

Comment: At the same time, to shake everybody! This is incredible! From a president to a janitor.

My Reply: Yes. I am thrilled about it. “Happy is he who will be present at that time.” So, we are here during the turning point! This is a serious restructuring of the world! I hope that this will be an ideological restructuring rather than financial or psychological. This is specifically a spiritual restructuring, when the world begins to think of the purpose of their lives.

Question: Will the world change or forget like we forget everything else? Even the second world war, such catastrophes!

Answer: Everything that happens on the corporeal level is forgotten within a century. Maximum a century!

Question: So, this too will be forgotten? Will the virus also be forgotten?

Answer: If we allow it, it will be forgotten.

Question: So, we must not allow it?

Answer: No! We must understand that this is not a virus at all. This is an upper mercy showing us what a terrible world we have created, how we, in principle, suffer in it, and how dumb we are to turn ourselves into slaves.

I run to my car in the morning, start it, spend two hours in traffic to get to work, spend the day working to refuel the car and come home. I come home in the evening and watch some stupid TV show.

The next day, the same thing repeats for myself and my wife. And where are my children? I have no idea. In some activities that we pay for so we can work, and we work in order to pay for them, etc. This is absolutely terrible! It is awful what is going on! All those debts!

Comment: Such a vicious cycle, a constant rat-race all the time, non-stop.

My Reply: We have purposely created such a world for ourselves. Let’s think of how we can change it. The virus will help us. Indeed, the virus will help us do it!

Question: The virus will help us with this. Will it also help us leave all the fears behind?

Answer: There should be no other fear but one: to use the given moment correctly. That is all.

Question: To draw the right conclusions?

Answer: Yes. And the right conclusion is very simple: thoughts. Thoughts! Let’s think of what we live for and how we can build our lives differently.

We see that some little virus can turn us into very calm people: we can sit at home, we will not rush, we do not need billions; they will gradually disappear, thank God, there will not be much left of it, etc. We do not need any of it. We came up with money and all the riches to show off in front of each other in our endless egoism. Let’s change our aim.

And this is possible today. If the virus would act on us a bit longer, cleansing all of us, what would we do? Look: billions of people, what will they live on after the virus?

Question: I was hoping you could tell me: what will they live on? The economy is crashing, people are out of work.

Answer: Of course, it is crashing! You see, planes are grounded, ships are docked, there is nothing to trade, nothing to do. And we do not need any of this! We will provide ourselves with necessities, and that is all! Everything will be quiet.

Question: So, is this how we come to wholesome food and good relations? Is this possible?

Answer: Of course, it is possible. Why not? Unless the virus disappears. Without it, we are doomed to return to the way things were. For sure. Therefore, instead of the virus, we have to clear our heads and bring ourselves to a reasonable state.

Question: When you say that the virus will not go away, does it mean to clear our heads in order to?

Answer: In order for us to remain in today’s state, and much, much longer, in order for us to understand that we want to live for our sake. For our sake means for the state that I want to be in forever. This can be an appealing reason.

Throughout our lives, all we did was avoid the issue of death. The virus is offering us a new perspective: Do not try to run away from death, you can not avoid it. Let’s do something to overcome this imaginary threshold of death. We can do it. It is possible to be immortal. And the virus can help us do that.

Question: How can we become immortal?

Answer: We must rise above our egoism, which is killing us! Egoism is not only acting when we wish to show off in front of each other by being stronger or smarter than others. Egoism is confining us into a limited perception of the world through our bodies. Let us perceive the world through our inner structure—our soul. Then we will see the world quite differently: eternal, infinite, perfect.

It has nothing to do with religion. Let’s feel within ourselves how much we live in a perfect and eternal world. The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks about it. It does not advocate any religion or anything else. It only develops the human soul. By this, we can become truly happy.

The billions will disappear one way or another. Man will have no need for more than good quality healthy food, normal clothing, and wholesome family. This is actually quite simple: better not to work for what you throw away. Working and throwing away, working and throwing away. All because my neighbor has a new car, I am still driving an old one, and so on. All this must disappear.

I hope that people will understand, through our materials on the Internet, that it is possible to reach such a state. Nature will help us do that. Otherwise, we will destroy ourselves.
Nature will help, and the virus will not leave us.

Question: The growth of the soul and the changes in it due to the light’s influence is something very internal, abstract, and hidden from strangers. How do these changes appear in the material world? Does a person become more harmonious? Are good relations revealed between us?

Answer: I would not say that good relations are revealed. But everything that happens in our world is carried out under the influence of an upper field. It constantly increases its tension, intensity, and this is felt as the Creator is approaching us.

But this is a very unpleasant approach because the Creator is the quality of bestowal and love, and we, being uncorrected egoists, feel His approach as negative. This is similar to the way teachers and parents approach us and demand us to behave more maturely, more seriously, and we do not want to.

Today we can see it in the development of all humankind. The Creator’s approach to the world determines the current crisis. Since we have not become similar to the Creator, this is not a good rapprochement; we would otherwise feel this approach as His revelation. Not the revelation of darkness, suffering, problems, and various viruses, but the revelation of the light. Everything depends on us. If we manage to rise spiritually, we feel the approach of the Creator as a blessing. If we do not, we feel it as evil.

The Creator always wants to get closer to us and He does so gradually, but so far we feel His approach as a constant decline of mankind.

Question: There is an opinion that the world will not return to its former state. There will be no tourism in previous volumes. Fashion, sports, art, too, are likely to change. It is said that moving across countries will be very difficult due to medical checks. A person will have to prove that he is healthy, and only then he would be allowed into some country. Naturally, health information will be transparent to everyone. But since we are an egoistic society, it may be used not for the most benevolent purposes.

Imagine that developed countries would have information, say, about some ruler of a third world country: all his illnesses, mental disorders, sexual adventures, etc. Naturally, if such a person were up for election, can you imagine what influence they will have on him? No war is needed. You can understand the possible ways that a ruler might be influenced. Does all this advance humanity to the next stage of development?

Answer: First of all, if we are talking about the next stage, then it will be different, a stage of development, not of degradation. Second, I do not think that a person should be afraid or embarrassed about something.

We are all products of nature. And if we have certain inclinations given to us by nature, we should not particularly hide them. It is just that in our society everything is very exaggerated. What difference is to me who and what you are? How you satisfy yourself, what you eat, and what films you watch are your own business.

I see this as a certain underdevelopment of human society. Why should we pay attention to such things? This is totally personal and human.

Each of us has many different habits that one carries from his mother’s home. After all, you do not share with everyone what exactly you like in food. One prefers frogs, another prefers meat, and the third loves dairy or only vegetables.

Question: So, do you see any problems with the fact that there is such diversity of our qualities?

Answer: I think that a person should pay attention to his spiritual development. What his animal body is drawn to does not matter. It is created by nature and is not subject to change. Therefore, one must be above this; separate the physical body from the eternal soul and tend only to it. Give the animal body what it needs and no more.

Question: When you speak about nature, you treat it as something rational, and this is already close to the terms “Creator,” “God,” “higher mind.” How can you explain this from the point of view of Kabbalah?

Answer: Kabbalah refers to nature as a higher mind that has its own laws. This system in itself is in absolute equilibrium and seeks to bring our entire little egoistic nature to be like it, to equilibrium.

Therefore, as soon as we turn off the path of full interaction of all parts of nature—inanimate, vegetative, animate, and speaking—then immediately some bad shifts and negative manifestations occur in nature.

They can be small, so small that we do not pay attention to them, but they can also be huge, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, and in the past, even large meteorites striking the planet and so on.

We are gradually moving toward good relations among us, but in an unkind way, forcibly complying with the laws of nature, integration, and communication. Therefore, we go forward, as they say, pushed by the stick. Fortunately: we receive blows and slightly change our path, another blow, we also change our path.

Egoism constantly wants to turn us to the left; nature hits us, we turn a little to the right, and we are in such a state when we balance to the right or to the left. So, humanity is constantly advancing to happiness by being pushed from behind.

But now we are already starting to realize more that we are at an impasse. We have gone through all stages of the egoistic development of society, and today we can realize that we cannot come to anything good with our egoistic nature.

Mankind has almost realized the impasse of its natural development. It must learn integral development from nature because we are all in the same system. We need to study this system and follow it.

Question: Today it is not a problem to find materials on the global nature of our world, on the relationship of humans with nature. It really needs to be studied. But still, what can you say about the coronavirus.

Answer: This is the same. After all, our movement to be isolated from the common global nature leads to such consequences as the manifestation of all kinds of viruses, which inevitably return us to a normal state.

Question: Modern science is quickly responding to the emergence of new viruses that threaten humanity. Once a vaccine is developed, the risks will become minimal. The only thing that matters is the speed of the scientists’ work. Does this mean that human intelligence can change the plans of nature?

Answer: Of course not!

Question: Isn’t this a confrontation of man versus nature?

Answer: There is no confrontation with nature and there cannot be. Who are we?! It seems to us that we conquer nature. We can only spoil it with our egoistic qualities.

Question: But isn’t it nature that created us like that?

Answer: It created us like that so that we would correct ourselves and, in our correction, discover a different level of nature.

Remark: First we are in the process of correction and second, no one has announced this to us.

My Comment: Where do you see any correction in humanity? From year to year we are becoming worse: more egoistic, crass, and rude. We distort nature and destroy this small planet we live on.

Remark: But we are created this way by nature.

My Comments: We are created this way in order to realize our worthlessness.

Question: But until we realize this, what can we be held responsible for? When I do realize this?

Answer: And when will you realize it? You push it away from you all the time. You do not want to understand and say, “Yes, this is me and I will be me.” But then the virus comes and starts to bring you to life a little.

Question: Does this mean that there is no conflict between scientists inventing some kind of vaccine and nature constantly sending us viruses and cataclysms?

Answer: No matter how hard we contrive to invent vaccines, nature will still cover them with its blows so that we will realize that vaccines will not save us.

Comment: Many people say that problems unite people. There are many examples of this in history.

Now people see the opposite: not only did the coronavirus not unite us, it exacerbated the awareness of our inequality.

There are families that are quarantined in small apartments and there are those that are staying in 500 square meter villas. There is great inequality.

My Response: It does not matter. All the same they both are quarantined. Anyway they understand that the virus has distanced them from each other. Like a mother whose children misbehave and fight and she sends them to separate rooms and says: “So you do not meet! Each stay in your own room!”

This is what the virus did with us: “You do not know how to work among yourselves correctly, you create unnecessary enterprises, pollute the environment—sit quietly! That is it!”

Isn’t that good? See how fatherly it treats us. I believe that it has done us a huge favor. It has distanced all the harmful, petty people and said: “Stop doing stupid things! Stop polluting the environment! Stop doing harm to each other! Sit quietly. Learn to sit and be silent. This is the best you can do.”

And it is so indeed. The world has become cleaner. The world has become quieter.

Comment: I do not think there will be many who will agree with you.

My Response: It does not matter. After all, this is the reality given. You can talk about the reasons, but you cannot deny that this is so, it is a fact.

There is no doubt that the only way to overcome the coronavirus is to be concerned about the whole world that is seized by the pandemic. The virus is showing us that we live in the era of the Messiah, in the state of “The Last Generation,” the state that affects the whole world.

The virus has not come to destroy us, but to shake us up a little, to bring us to the first realization that we are facing a single global nature that is fighting us as a united front. We were about to destroy nature from the lowest, material level, to the highest spiritual degree.

At the material level, we already understand that we ruthlessly destroy the inanimate, plant, and animal worlds and people with our egoism. Pharaoh reigns supreme in our world, and “seven hungry years” have already come since nothing can fill us in this world. It is impossible to continue living in a world where egoism reigns in the open. Either we rise above this world or we face tremendous blows.

We have to know how to enter the upper world. We have to build Moses out of our group, meaning the force that pulls all of humanity out of the egoistic world and brings it over the Red Sea. It is impossible to go on living in this egoistic world.

Just look at how the still, vegetative, and animal nature persistently waits for us to leave this world and rise to a higher spiritual degree. How the animals, fish, and plants would rejoice if we all rise!

The whole of nature all over the world and the universe will calm down and move into balance. Everything will be peaceful and content if man’s egoism stops intervening and bringing everything under its heel.

We have nowhere to advance. Can we possibly want to return to the same old thing once the quarantine has been lifted, to continue harming nature and awaiting nuclear war? Let’s take a sobering look at our pre-virus state, at just how illogical and abnormal our lives have been.

It is necessary to achieve a certain similarity with the general state of nature because man is at the highest level of all beings. We must unite and feel responsible for the whole world.

The “last generation” is the one that has to implement the program of creation. And the coronavirus shows us how late we are with this implementation on a global scale. This is how we bring imbalance into creation and manifest all these viruses.

We may not be able to go out onto the streets or gather together, but we must reach the inner unity above that, the correct relations between people. This means that the egoism that stands between us will disappear, we will overcome it. By doing so, we will eradicate the coronavirus. If I am in good, kind, internal connections with others, no harm can come between us.

The coronavirus is a sign that we are not advancing by the path of light, but the path of suffering, the natural course of evolution (Beito), because it is acting on us by force. The path of light, acceleration of time (Achishena) always works in a good, pleasant way.

If we strive for good relations between us, then we discover that we can build internal systems of connection between us and will transfer the businesses there that we have no more need for, that only pollute the environment. We would transfer them to the inner level, where we connect together, talk and feel each other.

I see that people now dream of open department stores, restaurants, cafes, barber shops, and beauty salons because they have been making some kind of connection with each other there. But nature obliges us to a new form of connection.

What is included in the system of healing that is offered to humanity? All people will constantly engage in their connection, except for the time it will take to produce vital products: food, clothing, construction in the required amounts.

This is the first law to be established in our world. And the rest of the time, most of the day, will be devoted to study, dissemination, and unification; this is what we were born for and only this will raise us to the level of the future world. This needs to be executed during our lifetime in this world.
