Human Nature’s Request

546.04Question: Why are so many TV programs empty in content?

Answer: Today we are going through an intermediate stage. Once we were interested in the personal relationship between a man and a woman, social relations, some serious problems, the so-called classics: movies, operas, no matter what, but they were works of art.

There were not many of them, and that was enough for the people. They did not want to change things every day or watch a few TV shows every night.

Today a person suffers from the fact that he does not receive inner fulfillment, what his inner self requires. He is stuffed with all sorts of things. It is like an adult that is given porridge, while he needs a steak, vegetables, a glass of good wine. But there is none of it.

There is something childish, naive, stupid, starting from humor, satire, and ending with TV shows. I used to like to watch historical programs or travel channels about the world, beautiful places. But today this is also leveled.

In fact, the current human demand is much greater. It is a question of the meaning of existence. It is just suppressed. A person reaches a level where his suffering, emptiness, asks from within, “What do you exist for?”

“Why Preserve Earth?” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “Why Preserve Earth?”

As the climate crisis escalates and extreme weather is growing increasingly frequent, experts are seriously pondering how close we are to the point of no return. CBS News reported on April 26 that according to Professor Timothy Lenton, a global leader on the climate crisis, “the West Antarctic ice sheet may have already passed a tipping point.” CBS News also spoke to other experts and reported that “their message was unanimous: Changes are happening faster than what was expected and the chance of hitting tipping points in the climate system, which just a decade ago appeared remote and far off, now seems much more likely and more immediate. ‘This is why I have been raising the alarm,’ Lenton said. ‘In just a decade the risk level has gone up markedly — that should be triggering urgent action.’”

Over the past several decades, we’ve tried countless tactics and ploys to curb emissions, decrease pollution, and diminish our exploitation of the planet. None of them worked. Moreover, we are not only exploiting our planet, we are exploiting all of life on the planet, and we are exploiting each other. The mistreatment of others that characterizes us is evident on all fronts, which means that the problem is far more systemic and deeply rooted than switching to renewable energy, for example, or curbing deforestation.

In my view, however, the question is not whether or not we hit, or are close to hitting the tipping point. I believe that the question we should ask is not whether Earth is doomed and we’re doomed with it, but rather why are we here in the first place. The universe we live in has been around for fourteen billion years or so. Earth has existed for approximately 4.5 billion years, and life on Earth began a few hundred million years after Earth was formed. We have evolved from atoms into molecules, from molecules into unicellular creatures, and from unicellular creatures to the countless forms of life on Earth in the water, on land, and in the sky. Finally, in the last few hundred thousand years, humankind has emerged. Gradually, we have become the rulers of the planet, exploiting its soil, flora, and fauna, polluting the air, the soil, and the water, and depleting Earth’s resources as fast as we can in order to gain power and wealth. Is this why we are here, to do all this harm? Perhaps, if we knew the answer, we wouldn’t be doing the inconceivable damage we are inflicting on the planet every second. The question of our purpose in being here is therefore the key question we must answer. If we know the answer to it, we will resolve all our problems and save the planet.

The problem that causes all our plights is us, or more accurately our nature—human nature. Unlike any other being on this planet, we are exploitative, mean, and abusive to each other, to all living creatures, and to the planet we call home. In fact, we are so heartless that we cannot restrain our greed even when we know that our doing will ruin the future of our children and grandchildren. Instead of a home to live in, we are handing down to them a planet-size pile of trash. What good parent would do that? None, of course, but we are not good parents.

Yet, not all is lost. In the first lockdown that was imposed nearly all over the world at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, multiple examples of nature’s resilience from around the world proved that Earth is much stronger than we thought, and can recover even from prolonged human exploitation. Therefore, if we solve our one problem, human nature, the rest of nature will quickly recover and planetary balance will be restored.

Changing human nature may seem impossible, at first, like pulling oneself out of a swamp by one’s own hair. However, we can learn from nature how to do that. In nature, things change according to their environment. Adaptability is key to the survival of any species. If we create an environment of friendliness, mutual responsibility, and caring, our nature will adapt to its environment and will become likewise. We needn’t change ourselves, but only our superficial behavior. Then, if all of society behaves kindly, people will become genuinely kind. Just as living in a cruel environment forces everyone who lives there to be cruel, even if they are not cruel by nature, the opposite is just as true.

Once we make our social environment friendly and considerate, our nature will become friendly and considerate. Once we become friendly and considerate, we will stop being exploitative. Once we stop being exploitative, we will stop abusing each other, other living beings, and the planet as a whole. It turns out that to save ourselves and our planet, our sole focus should be on changing our social environment from hostile to friendly, from abusive to considerate. Everything else will quickly follow.

Moreover, transcoding our inherent nature will reveal to us realms we cannot conceive right now. As long as we are concentrated only on ourselves, all we see is ourselves. But the purpose of our being here is to grow far beyond ourselves, to grasp all of reality, to understand on the deepest level why we exist, why there are life and death, creation and destruction, and how everything is connected. Only if we start thinking of each other will we stop thinking of ourselves, and only if we stop thinking of ourselves will we start perceiving the world around us as it truly is. This is why the one question we should ask in order to secure our lives, the well-being of the planet, and even our happiness is “Why are we here?”

Break The Vicious Circle

220Humanity in its development has advanced to the current level and now begins to understand that everything that society imposes on us, in principle, is to our detriment. We litter the environment, kill our life, disconnect from the family, from our children.

Instead of working a few hours a day and getting only the necessities of life, a person works twelve hours a day. For what? Only to produce what is considered valuable by society, otherwise, he will not respect himself, how he will look at his neighbors, and how his children will look at him.

It turns out that it is a vicious cycle created by us, which makes us much more unhappy than animals.

Question: A person is a desire to enjoy, he is drawn to what, as it seems to him, makes sense. He runs after some wrappings and thinks that in this he will find something, but in the end he finds nothing. What, in principle, is he to blame? And what is it all for?

Answer: So that we are disappointed in our natural, thoughtless, selfish development, and see how all this leads us to complete destruction. Look what families, children, and homes are now! All the most ordinary, natural, healthy, and normal suddenly disappears somewhere, distorts, and breaks. We cannot enjoy even such simple things.

We have invented all sorts of values and standards for ourselves, and we chase them. And as a result, we get depressed, which today is the first problem in the world, and we use drugs, otherwise we will not be able to keep up with this pace or this life in which I hate everyone, including myself.

Everyone needs a personal psychologist. Children at the age of twelve or thirteen leave home, break away from their parents. Where are they, what’s wrong with them?

Now a generation is growing that cannot get anything from us. We have nothing to give them. Baby animals are always raised by their parents. In this respect, we are the same animals. Who will bring up our children? What skills will they be able to acquire on their own? Imagine what kind of suffering they will have to go through in life before they find the correct algorithm of behavior.

Marxism And The Wisdom Of Kabbalah

025.01Question: To what extent is one of the main assumptions of Marxism justified from the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, that “An idea that gets a hold on the masses becomes a material force”? Does Marxism have perspectives in a changing situation?

Answer: Certainly, when an idea gets a hold on the masses, it becomes the power of the masses. This has already become the power of the fist, coercion by this side or another. So, there is no connection or relationship to spirituality and the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The connection between Marxism and the wisdom of Kabbalah is only seen in a very inconsequential coincidence between the opinion of Marx and the state of a society that is beginning to develop through mutual cooperation with each other.

Marx also thought that everything depends on the education of the society and in no way did he call for revolutions that could lead to victory and could change something in a way like that.

Only a proper society can be changed and it must be educated like a small child is educated. A society is generally like a small child that can achieve good results through a proper education. And if not, it could create problems for you for generations.

How To Get Rid Of Bad News

959Question: One is tired of bad news in all the media today. So now there are sites that present only good news. How do you feel about entering good sites and getting good news?

Answer: It is like Vysotsky sang: “We would only need to be injected and fall asleep.”

Question: To inject and forget. That is, only good news will not help?

Answer: You can, but this will be exactly the case.

Question: How should it be? We need to sift through all this bad news? How can I live with all this?

Answer: You have to live right. If the attitudes are correct, then you can meet the worst news and it will not kill you.

Of course, you understand what the world is. But this is only if you know that you must act in order to correct this world.

A person should relate to the world like this world is given to him for correction. It is specially distorted, disfigured, painted black.

And we must make this world a better place. And we have been given a force for this, the higher force of nature, the positive force, which is absent in our world because we do not attract it.

We must feel how a negative, egoistic force operates in our world at all levels of nature: still, vegetative, animate, and human. This egoistic force of nature is triggered by people at the highest level, human, and from this level it acts on the animate, vegetative, and even inanimate forces.

And if a person begins to understand that when in correct relation to others he causes the positive force of nature, then two forces manifest in our world and we will see their result.

The main task of man is to attract this positive force of nature by him acting the same way in our world. He will think about it. Even one thought is enough: I want a positive force to manifest in our world. If we think so, it will manifest itself. And nothing else is needed.

The greatest power is the power of thought, the desire of man.

Question: And then, when reading this horror, this terrible, bad news, what will I feel?

Answer: That they are actually given to you so that you evoke the positive force and balance the positive and negative forces all the time, not destroying negative forces ,but only attracting compensatory positive forces to them.

And there is no need to destroy the past world and build a new one. You only need to add goodness.

“We’ve Got Vaccines, When Will We Be Healed?” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “We’ve Got Vaccines, When Will We Be Healed?”

Since December 11, 2020, there have been FDA approved vaccines available for use. Since then, the virus has only spread further and broke record after record of new cases and deaths. Brazil, India, and even Sweden are seeing rising numbers of confirmed cases and their health systems are on the brink of collapse, if they haven’t already faltered. At the same time, some countries are emerging from the crisis. Israel, for example, has had a day without Covid-19 deaths for the first time in nine months. The US is also seeing diminishing numbers, though it is still not out of the woods.

Until we realize that the problem is not with Covid, but with us, and specifically with our relations, we will not be healed. Each country, even those that currently appear to have defeated the virus, will suffer their own blows. We will be healed only when we realize that our attitude toward each other is our real sickness, that this is the real plague. There isn’t, and cannot be a vaccine for human cruelty; we can cure it only through sincere efforts to build positive ties, to transcend our mutual alienation.

Nevertheless, even countries that now appear to be winning, have other blows waiting in the pipeline. The pandemic has landed on humanity for a reason: to force us to understand that we have to change our attitude—first toward each other, and then toward the rest of the world. But despite nearly 150 million cases, and more than three million deaths, we have not learned a thing. Until we understand that the problem is with us, and not with the virus, we will keep suffering blows. If we don’t understand it through the coronavirus, we will understand it through some other crisis.

Besides the illness, Covid has far-reaching consequences that are even worse than the disease itself, which is horrible enough. Widespread joblessness, other health issues, and social crises are all consequences of Covid, but there is more. The climate crisis is worsening, political tensions are rising, and the future of humanity seems bleak on all fronts. The initial lockdowns were actually helpful in moderating some of the adverse effects of humanity on the climate, but that moderation was short-lived and repeated lockdowns proved detrimental on other aspects.

Covid-19 is one way to convey this message to humanity, but nature can land plenty of other blows that will force us to acknowledge that we are dependent on each other. The sooner we learn that the healing is between us, the sooner we will overcome the virus.

Knowledge To The Detriment

961.2Comment: I heard about a serious terrorist attack in Sri Lanka in which 253 people were killed. It turned out that this attack shocked the whole population, especially because it was carried out by intelligent terrorists, as the media called them, people who were highly educated and who came from rich families, not from the lower socioeconomic parts of society.

The same thing happened in a terrorist attack on a synagogue near San Diego where a 19-year-old kept shooting until his gun got stuck, and if it hadn’t been for that, he could have killed everyone in the synagogue. He was a student in medical school and also studied music. We see even higher education has little impact in this sense.

My Response: Education does not guarantee anything since education is not upbringing. It is educated people who build nuclear bombs. Educated people build weapons. It is actually educated people who do that.

Question: Exactly. Why don’t we speak about them?

Answer: We sometimes speak about different tribes that fight against each other, but eventually they don’t destroy each other because if they had, we would not be in the state we are in today as descendants of those tribes.

We need to understand that our evolution is based on egoistic development. So the greater egoists we become, the more we improve all kinds of weapons in order to destroy each other more cruelly. You could not picture the Holocaust in the Middle Ages, for example.

Question: Does this mean that the more educated we are the more cruelly we treat others?

Answer: Of course.

The Earth—Resonator Of Our Thoughts

746.01Comment: Our planet Earth is a very complex system that has its own kind of consciousness. It reacts to our thoughts and actions.

My Response: All of them, by the way. The inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels of nature also react to us and to our thoughts. We just do not feel it.

Question: The Earth is a very complicated, complex system connected to the entire cosmos, right down to man. Maybe we can use this example to show all these complex interactions?

Answer: In my view, the Earth is a huge antenna, a resonating ball, that perceives our qualities, changes, and influences that resonate into open space.

By this, we have a huge impact on the whole world, on the whole universe, because our activities are on a level higher than nature. We do not feel the direct effects of our thoughts and desires, but it seems to me that they are incredibly big, powerful, and unfortunately, destructive.

Understand Your Essence

28.02Question: What is a person, according to Kabbalah? What is his essence?

Answer: The nature of our world is divided into inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels. According to our current state, we belong to the animate level, because like any animal, we are engaged in the maintenance of our body, our earthly life.

Except animals serve themselves with the help of instincts within the framework that commands them and pushes them to ensure their existence, and we are commanded not only by personal instincts, but mainly by those that are determined by society, the environment.

In principle, animals also have a family, a camp, leaders. But still, it is based on a clearly natural, instinctive control that comes from within. Their hierarchy and struggle are realized directly and simply, while in humans it is very difficult.

We do not understand by what algorithm we should act in connection with each other and in connection with the surrounding society. We are not aware of how society commands us and determines our development, our values, and how it guides us.

In this, man is simply confused and unhappy compared to animals. They know exactly what they want, they are in clear preservation of their offspring and their environment as far as ecology allows them. But a human is not.

It is constantly aimed at self-destruction. After all, what is given to us by nature is not directed to our earthly development. We should not develop only in the plane of serving our body, pushing unnecessary pleasures, food, sex, wealth, and so on into ourselves. We see that, in fact, it does not bring any happiness or fulfillment, no real profit, but only darkens our lives.

We are misdirecting all our actions. If we could correctly use our social desires—fame, power, wealth, knowledge—to direct us to attain a higher level, to the state of “human,” then we would really reach the level of “Human.”

The Correct Algorithm Of Behavior

707The correct algorithm of behavior is harmony with nature from which we will understand what the “human” level means. We see and study the animal level. And what does the “human” level mean? We do not know how nature created it.

Inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature exist instinctively, they are subject to strict laws that are implemented unquestioningly. And man was created with freewill in order to learn from nature how he should act, agree with, and perform these actions. Then he will be happy.

The law of equilibrium is the basic law of all nature. If there is no balance, then problems immediately arise. As in our body, the pressure goes up, the temperature rises, some other parameters change, and a person immediately falls ill, since his internal systems are not balanced.

We are the same with regard to nature. Heat, cold, change in atmospheric pressure, natural disasters, all these are changes between different systems of nature.

Nature created us so that we ourselves can discover the formula for our balance with it. And then we will become as absolute, harmonious, perfect, and even eternal, as nature itself. But we must get to this by ourselves.

Question: Is the “human” level the level of balance with nature?

Answer: Absolutely! Moreover, it is according to man’s choice, man’s effort, unlike all other parts of nature that are in natural, instinctive balance with it.

Having reached balance with nature, a man will receive complete pleasure. All his desires will be fulfilled.
