Women play a very important role in correcting the world. After all, this world exists only thanks to women. A woman is a house, shopping, and the household. A woman gives birth to children and also raises, educates, and takes care of them.
Everyone understands perfectly well how a man would look if there were no woman next to him; he would look like a boy who is always unwashed, disorganized, and unfocused.
A woman is such a special creature in the world that brings order to it and maintains this order. No man can replace her in this, as this is how this world works. In Judaism, a woman is called a “house.” Therefore, it is a woman’s duty to put life in order in every house, in every village, in every city, and in every country. It is all in your hands, and every man and every woman should participate in this work.
A woman is called a “house” because her husband eventually does what she asks at home. It turns out that the world is ruled by women. Only they do not want to declare it loudly because the nature of a woman is such that she likes to remain modestly in the shadows and does not want to take responsibility.
In order to change this world for the better, women need to become more feminine, and then men will listen to them. A man loves when a woman is gentle, quiet, and listens to him more than one who is rude and demanding. But women know well when to shout at their husband and when to cry, and so with these two oars they steer the family ship in the middle line.
Women should understand that it depends only on them whether we can make this world kinder and more stable. It is said that “People of Israel came out of Egypt (from slavery) by virtue of righteous women.” A righteous woman is one who knows what justice is, what the goal is, and how to establish the correct relationship with her husband, as well as with all women and all men in the world, so that there is a spirit of mutual guarantee in the world. This is a great thing.
If women realize that the ultimate correction of the world depends on them and they take on this mission, then everyone will follow them, and we will succeed. Every man remembers that when he was a child, he was raised by women: his mother, grandmother, older sister, kindergarten teacher, school teacher, etc. So why not continue this correct, kind, and devoted care. It is necessary to connect female power to the governance of the world and in this form we will certainly come closer to a good life.
The problem is that we teach women how to become businesswomen. However, the task of a woman, as if in a family, is to take care of a man and support him. Without wise support, men will grow up like hooligans, like street kids. This is exactly what we see in the world today.
However, with the correct support of a woman who knows how to behave and continues to be an intelligent educator and teacher for a man, good men grow out of men, and become sensitive and respectful to women. It takes time and a lot of mutual work between men and women for men to realize that it is necessary to cooperate with women and also let them come to the fore.
Women should understand that they cannot hide behind men’s backs; they need to behave just like at home, where a woman takes over the whole household: cleans, cooks, and washes.
This family way of life should be extended to the entire space outside the home walls, and then we will have to join men to this work. After all, instead of simple washing, we will need a laundry factory, and instead of simple cooking in the kitchen, a food processing plant, where many men and women work. This is a completely different scale and is the future.

Comment: If we imagine that a person bestows to someone, enjoys it, and the Creator is revealed as a result of it, it looks somewhat strange.
My Response: What else do we need? The Creator is revealed within you, in your new qualities. If you acquire His qualities of bestowal and connection, then instead of egoistic desires, you reveal altruistic desires of bestowal within yourself.
Question: I understand this. It is just that Kabbalists who have attained the Creator write that this is such an incredible pleasure that for the sake of this for one second a person would be willing (figuratively speaking) to cut off his hands and feet seven times a day.
Is it possible that a person who bestows to another person, helps another, really feels such incredible pleasure?
Answer: Obviously, yes. They come to this gradually. With the help of restriction, the screen, and other various techniques, Kabbalists are able to behave in such a way that the revelation of the Creator does not prevent them from being connected with other people and, at the same time, receiving everything and giving it to others.

Question: Let’s say that humanity has invented some kind of drink and enjoys it, or discovered some law of nature and uses it for its own benefit. Is this a revelation of the Creator?
Answer: Yes, in part this is also the revelation of the Creator. But this is not what Kabbalah talks about.
Question: What else can be revealed? What kind of Creator can be attained that Kabbalah speaks about, but ordinary sciences do not?
Answer: Kabbalah says that we can attain the real Creator. It is the Creator and not some of His secondary manifestations in nature. But we can do this only according to the law of equivalence of qualities.
If I am to some extent bestowing like the Creator, then I will be able to reveal these qualities of bestowal in myself. Then I will feel what the Creator feels. To this extent I will become similar and close to Him.
That is, if I become a bestower, and just as today I constantly search where I can receive something, so I will also search for what else I can bestow to others, and then I will be able to feel like the Creator to some extent. It will fulfill me.
But this is not easy to implement.

Comment: In the corporeal world, there is a phenomenon of “weeping and tears.” It is interesting that in addition to joy and grief, which we express in the form of tears, it is also associated with survival.
Crying is mainly associated with negative emotions, although people can also from happiness cry, of course. The brain cannot identify negative or positive emotions; it does not care. There is just some kind of flow of emotions that gives instruction to produce tears.
It turns out that tears block excessive emotions. What is the reason for producing them in spirituality?
My Response: When a person does not have enough of a correct reaction to what is happening, he bursts into tears. In principle, and speaking in the language of Kabbalah, this is the absence of clear, correct, reflected light, or feedback. When it is impossible to react correctly, to make a restriction (Tzimtzum), screen (Masach), and reflected light (Ohr Hozer), then a person cries.
Question: However, this is not always accompanied by producing tears, as in our world, right? After all, there is no body in spirituality.
Answer: What does the body have to do with this? This refers to a certain reaction of desire to what is happening to it. Let us say the reaction to the fact that there is no light or that it cannot react correctly, and so on. That is, it is the absence of reverse, reflected light.

Question: What is the fundamental difference between an analog system and a digital one?
Answer: The analog system is superior to the digital one because there is an infinite possibility of resolution and accuracy, like with conventional vinyl records, instead of digital recordings. Real experts appreciate precisely such records because they convey all the subtlety of the sound with all the harmonics.
In numbers, however, all this needs to be digitized, or put into corresponding pulses, as it were. No matter how many instruments you have, each one must find its pulse, and they are all limited. That is, it is an incomplete transfer of information.
No matter how you build a curve out of pulses, it will be approximately a curve, but still consist of pulses inside.
It is clear that the digital system is more profitable. Thanks to it, we can go to any frequency and transmit a huge amount of information. But sensuality, subtlety, and those harmonics that no computer can catch, which are necessary specifically for our hearing and feeling, are transmitted better by a record or our old non-digital receivers and transmitters.
Question: But you said that the last generation thinks precisely through the digital system. What is the difference here from the point of view of Kabbalah?
Answer: Digital thinking is thinking with the mind, with the primitive mind. Analog thinking is thinking with feelings and is unlimited. This is the difference. The heart perceives analog, which is smooth information, a wave, and the brain perceives pulse information, and works by bits.
Comment: But many of your students are representatives of the last generation.
My Response: It seems to me that among my students there practically are no, “bit thinkers,” meaning ones who think by pulses. They might work in this area, but they do not think like that.
In general, I am sure that we will move back to the analog state—to spirituality.
Interestingly, in the spiritual world you have very clearly graduated degrees. They are digital and human feelings on them are analog. These degrees are digitized, pulsed, i.e., every second awareness, sensation, and everything else takes place within you. But the sensation itself turns directly into feelings, which are not digital, but analog.

Comment: Suppose a person heard you and suddenly felt something unusual, exactly what he had always wanted to hear. This feeling, which he is guided by, is the truth for him until other people come and say: “Think it over,” which starts to turn on the person’s logic, his reason. And this reasoning of other people stops a person in his development.
It often happens that a person begins to predict something in advance. He already condemns himself to failure in advance because he tries to build everything logically. And you always say: “Do it, and the reason will come.”
My Response: Yes, because, as a rule, you use the reason that you have accumulated in advance that is based on your previous unilateral egoistic development. The mind is unilateral, and therefore, you cannot do anything with the help of the previous program. You should close your mind, start upgrading, and deal only with attracting the upper force that will do it for you.
And if, while attracting the upper force, you work with your previous past mind, then nothing will work. Then you fall out of everything, both from your past egoistic activity and from your future one.
Close your eyes, blindly follow your teacher, and realize that there is no other way. I hope that soon this will be understood not only by my students who have not yet realized this, but by the whole world. People will have no other choice; they will feel that they have eaten their pudding and nothing good will shine for them any longer.
Having done away with their egoistic economy, that is, with all their egoistic calculations of how to exist in the best way, they will come to the realization of the evil of their nature and the need to exit it. But how do you get out of your own skin? This is what I have to explain to them.
There will no longer be any doubts; there will be a demand that simply says, “Do with us what you want!”—just like that.
As Baal HaSulam writes, we must sit down and study, and this will reform us. As we re-educate, society, the media, everything, will change. We will digest ourselves, and slowly but daily, taste this change for the new, rebuild the systems of social relationships, of the influence of governments on the people, of the interaction of states among themselves, and gradually rebuild everything under the influence of education by light.

Michael Laitman, On Quora: “What does the Sabbath mean to you?“
The Sabbath is the state of the end of correction of the ego, the peak of our development where everything functions in an ideal manner, solely in a direction of bestowal, giving, fulfilling and loving others.
The prohibitions on the Sabbath discuss actions that we were allowed to do before the end of the ego’s correction, when it was still not entirely in order to bestow. We were once in a system called “the soul of Adam HaRishon,” where we were all tightly connected with threads of bestowal and love as one. The system shattered via an action called “the sin of the Tree of Knowledge.” It was an action where we started wishing to receive egoistically for our personal benefit alone. The connections inside that system and between its parts shattered, and everything that has taken place since that time is for us to reconnect the parts of that system to a state that they were in before the shattering.
There is a confusion between the parts because they fell and mixed with one another, and we have to scrutinize each and every desire of ours, which is an outcome of that shattering: What is it related to? Is it in favor of or against connection? What kind of connection is there between these desires? What kind of constellation should they be? This is our work over a period of what we call “6,000 years.”
The Sabbath is called “the day of the end of correction” where all desires interconnect in an ideal connection. It is a perfect restoration of the soul of Adam HaRishon to its corrected form that it was in before the shattering.
The prohibitions on the Sabbath stem from that in which the Sabbath is a completely corrected state, and in a perfect state there is no room for additional work because everything is already corrected. Adding in such a state could only bring ruin, which is why there are prohibitions to conduct all kinds of works on the Sabbath, whether small or great.

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “The Left Has Left”
If you look at the leaders who founded the State of Israel, you will find that most of them were socialists, Zionists who strove to implement the socialist ideology of the Left in the fledgling Jewish state. David Ben-Gurion, Chaim Weizmann, Berl Katznelson and other prominent leaders and thinkers were all socialists. Moreover, the majority of the olim (immigrants to Israel) who came before the official founding of the State of Israel in 1945 were socialists or even communists. Accordingly, socialism was the predominant ideology in Israel’s early years.
The general election that took place November 1 demonstrated how far Israel has moved from those early years. In this election, the Labor Party won only four out of 120 seats in the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. Its sister party, Meretz, which is considered slightly more Left than the Labor Party, failed to cross the electoral threshold and was erased from the political map. The two parties that purport to represent the center Left, Yesh Atid and the National Unity Party, do not advance socialism or any of the values of the classic Left, leaving socialism without any prominent advocates. The Left, it seems, has left.
Indeed, there is no Left in Israel. No one is fighting for the rights or the well-being of blue-collar workers, the proletariat; no one is fighting for free education, for free and decent health-care, or equitable housing; and no one is fighting even for food security for the disadvantaged. Israel has become a capitalist state, and those who claim to speak for the Left and for the workers are even more capitalist than those who portray themselves openly as capitalists. All that is left of the Left is empty slogans that no one believes. This is why so few voted for parties that profess to represent it.
The Left deserves credit for its significant, even essential role in the establishment of the State of Israel. Although the countrywide institutions that the Labor Party founded—the trade union, healthcare services, consumer cooperative, housing construction company, civil engineering company—were monopolies that controlled everything that happened here, they truly built the Jewish state. However, they also secured the political dominance of the Labor Party for decades. I remember that Shimon Peres once said that as long as the Labor Party has Kupat Holim (the healthcare company), they will remain in power.
The problem was that in the end, the ideology became a tool for what the Labor really wanted: power and control. As it happens in every country where the Left is in power, in Israel, too, the ideology fell prey to power-hunger. Human nature is stronger than any ideology, and in the absence of a balancing power, an idea that aims to improve people’s lives becomes a tool for tyranny. The Left’s arrogance and illusion of invincibility eventually caused its decay and ultimate demise.
At the same time, the disappearance of the Left caused the Right to disappear, as well. In the absence of a counter-ideology, there was no need to maintain and hone the ideology of the Right, and it, too, became amorphous and dissolved. What remains of the two worldviews is only tactical approaches to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
I think there will be no revival to these ideologies, at least not in Israel. The decline will continue until we realize that we should not divide society at all because society is indivisible, and any attempt to do it only causes hatred.
Eventually, the Israeli people will realize that only one ideology can dominate the people of Israel: unity above all differences. That was the idea that prompted our ancestors to establish our nationhood, and this is our root, the core of our nation. When we return to it, we will find unity, peace, and recognition from the world.
Israel should not be divided into parties. Anything that contains the word “part” is inherently wrong for the people of Israel. The dominant word for us must be “unity,” and any effort to promote unity and nationwide solidarity will improve our situation and receive the world’s support. This should be our one and only focus.
