The Practical Use Of The Wisdom Of Kabbalah

laitman_539Question: You are a doctor of philosophy. How is your activity connected to that fact?

Answer: The scientific world attributes the wisdom of Kabbalah to the field of philosophy, and I did my doctorate on the subject of “The Wisdom of Kabbalah as a Method for Understanding the World” at the Philosophical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. My daughter graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, studied the wisdom of Kabbalah there, and is now writing a paper on the subject of “The Four Who Entered Paradise.”

What I am involved with can be called “practical philosophy,” because Kabbalah relates to philosophy, and I am involved with its practical realization, meaning the correction of our world.

The World In The Balance

Laitman_077Question: It says that a person “judges the whole world to the scale of merit.” How can one person affect the whole world?

Answer: One person can affect the whole world because he connects to the whole world and wants to judge the world favorably. In spirituality every individual is as important as the general, according to the law that the general and the individual are equal.

Question: If a person listens to your lessons regularly, he is full of love for everyone, and so it is clear that he judges the world favorably. On the other hand, another person may tip the scale against the world. What will happen to the world? Who will win?

Answer: The world is judged by the majority. This is the reason that we have to try to have as many people who want to reach the love of others as possible.

Question: What gives you the power and the patience to continuously teach people about connection, unity, and love? You are ever optimistic and you don’t feel despair by what happens in Israel and all over the world.

Where do you draw your optimism from? What makes you so sure that a person can tip the scale in the world’s favor? Doesn’t it worry you that everything around us may suddenly collapse?

Answer: It does worry me because I don’t want people to suffer and bring about pain and afflictions unto themselves and the whole world. But I do understand the situation they are in and I try to explain things to them over and over again.

It is like working with small kids: no matter how difficult it may be, you cannot just abandon them. This is the reason that I explain things patiently to them over and over again. It all stems from love, as it says: “Love will cover all sins.”

The Essence Of The Wisdom Of Kabbalah In Two Sentences

laitman_249-03Question: Can you briefly (in one or two sentences) express the essence of your proposed idea in words that are understandable and accessible to everyone? And in short suggest a list of priority actions for its implementation?

Answer: The goal is to attain a connection between people such that according to the principle of equivalence of form and resemblance, the Creator, the total power of love, will be revealed in this connection. This is achieved through the realization of the conditions brought to us by the wisdom of Kabbalah. See the Kabbalah.info website, not all kinds of fiction.

About Anti-Semitism In America

Laitman_408Question: What is your opinion about the growing blunt anti-Semitism even on university campuses in America?

Answer: There is only one thing I can suggest: study the wisdom of Kabbalah, which will explain the reason for what is happening. They can at least read my article in the New York Times published on September 20, 2014. The path of our development is predefined and predetermined and we only have to try to be compatible with it in order to feel good.

I advise and wish the Jewish students to explore and study the development of humanity (see our site) and to follow the frameworks of our nation in fulfilling its mission. Just like everyone, both the Jews and the other nations each have the path that was designated especially for them by nature, and by following it we avoid great sufferings, which are nearing us at an alarming speed.

The Customs Of Jews And Other Peoples

Laitman_167Question: Why are the customs of the Jews so different from those of other peoples?

Answer: The reason is in the attitude, the meaning of existence. With the Jews it is the discovery of the Creator, the upper world, eternal movement.

And from here is derived the amazing difference in burial. With all the peoples the person continues his earthly existence after death, so together with him are sent all kinds of things from his earthly life to the world after death: tools, clothes, money, jewelry, servants and so forth.

With the Jews burial is simple, only simple white clothes, the same for everyone, for the poor and for the rich. The person doesn’t take anything with him except the deeds that he did. This shows the attitude in Judaism towards life and death, and from here also are the reasons for differences in the rest of the customs.

This is because the Jewish people were created and appeared for spiritual reasons, motives, and goals; they were created artificially, taking upon themselves an “unearthly” law of love of others. The rest of the peoples were created and appeared naturally, from families, tribes, with their natural egoistic development.

Practical Results Of The Wisdom Of Kabbalah

laitman_214Question: Which practical results does the wisdom of Kabbalah bring to us?

Answer: We are surprised, why in the world does everything “somehow happen not the way we would want”; we don’t understand why our actions constantly cause negative results and reactions.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that the reason for all of our failures is that we don’t take the conditions into account, that all of our actions pass through a “block” that is called the “goal of creation.”

Through our actions, or more correctly through our intentions, we send signals to it. And to the same degree that these signals are compatible with the program of creation, they influence us with positive actions. And to the degree of the incompatibility with the goal of creation, they influence us with negative actions (an opposite negative correlation).

As long as we have not absorbed and understood this system of the management of creation, bringing creation to a goal, we receive unexpected and unpleasant events without understanding that this is a reaction to our activities.

The wisdom of Kabbalah reveals the organ that manages this to us, and we learn through working with it, correcting our actions according to its program, and eliminating any unpleasant surprises.

How Can We Draw The Upper Light?

laitman_530Question: How can we draw the upper light? How do we know it works?

Answer: It is only through our efforts to connect and to unite! If I am in a group of people who have the same intention and the same upper spiritual goal and we try to connect and to unite, we draw the Light that Reforms.

We feel to what extent we suddenly change and to what extent we understand the system that is inside us that connects all parts of reality.

We begin to feel that our world is full of new forces and we see how these forces connect to one network, and the plan operates this network. This plan is called the Creator, the upper force that manages our world. We discover the upper leadership and begin to participate in it.

A Spiritual World? It’s Simple!

laitman_933Question: How is the spiritual world revealed?

Answer: Ten people sit together studying and speaking about the connection between them, while each one annuls himself before the others, and thus they unite.

Through this unity, they reach a feeling that the upper world is revealed between them. This is the fulfillment of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

It is so simple and near! It is only thanks to the annulment of our ego, when we ascend above it, that we discover the upper world, the upper system that manages our world. Anyone can discover it!

The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us how to do it in a very simple manner. By using this method, we can reach a state in which we attain this system: how it operates, how it manages us, and how we can respond to it and control our fate.

The Ladder Of Union

laitman_943Question: Is it possible to measure the level of union among the people and according to it to say how far we are from another holocaust?

Answer: According to the degree of connection between us, we can measure our place on the spiritual ladder, which is called Jacob’s Ladder, how we rise from our world in 125 levels, through five worlds until we attain Olam Ein Sof.

In every world, there are five Partzufim, in every Partzuf, there are five Sefirot, and in sum there are 125 levels (5 x 5 x 5). The difference between all of these levels is greater and greater connection and union between us.

This union always is realized in a group of ten (Minyan). If we connect correctly, we nullify ourselves, and then we begin to feel the connection between us, as well as a new spiritual force that is discovered in our connection.

The more we connect, the more each one of us feels how he rises on the ladder of spiritual levels, until reaching its end.
