A Lens To The Upper World

935Question: Can scientists discover the worlds that the wisdom of Kabbalah tells us about? They have already proven that everything depends on the observer in what is called the double-slit experiment.

Answer: Indeed, everything depends on the observer. But the observer must have the attributes that he wants to see. If he doesn’t have these attributes, he can invent instruments to help him.

An instrument by which we can see the upper world is a certain society, a group whose members are connected to each other by the attribute of bestowal. If the right group is made of such people, it becomes like a lens, a telescope, a magnifying glass. Then it is possible to see the upper world through this group.

So there is no problem with that. We simply need to understand that we need to change corporeal actions and turn them into spiritual actions and then we will receive an answer.

Kabbalah And Psychology

115Man is born as a small creature whose senses gradually develop together with his mental activity. He feels the world around him, explores it, and explores himself through this world: how he reacts to the environment, how it depends on him, and how he depends on it.

This is the subject of psychology, that is, the study of man’s reaction to the revelation of reality in those properties, qualities, feelings, and mind in which he can develop within the framework of our world.

In other words, psychology can be defined as the totality of man’s knowledge about the world in which he was born and developed. Accordingly, “existence determines consciousness.” The difference between Kabbalah and psychology is that Kabbalah harmonizes a person with sensations above our world. Our world exists in the egoistic property of reception—this is how we know it and feel it. If we do not exit this property, as it usually happens with people, then we see it through egoistic properties and evaluate the surrounding reality accordingly.

If we study super-psychology or—without taking into account psychology at all—are engaged in Kabbalah, then we enter a completely different realm of understanding the world. Kabbalah calibrates a person so that he evolves into attaining properties opposite to the material world. If we perceive our world in the egoistic property of reception with which we were born and developed, then it is psychology. And if we rise from egoism to bestowal, love, and exit our “I,” exit what we call a man in our world, then it is Kabbalah.

And then, in this new property, we reveal completely different relationships between us and the forces of nature. We begin to understand what a soul is—the relationship of a man and the higher force that develops him.

Therefore, we can say this: the egoistic property of our world in which we were born and developed brings us understanding of this world and ourselves. We call this psychology. And attaining the property higher than our world—the property of bestowal, the property directed from me toward the surrounding world that brings one to the spiritual level—is called the science of Kabbalah.

In The Abyss Of Egoism

592.03Question: When I plunge into myself, in stillness, in silence, I suddenly see some kind of multidimensionality and myself inside. This evokes a feeling of fear. I kind of open my eyes and do not understand where it all fits.

But listening to you, I remember that I am a black box with five holes through which I discover the world. And what I consider to be the world around me happens in this box. Where am I plunging into?

Answer: Into yourself, into your box. You never get out of it at all and you will not be able to get out. And even when we say that you should come out of it, rise above it, this is said figuratively.

When you master your egoism and start to manipulate it as you want, then you can say that you are, so to say, rising above it. Yet, this is not an ascent above the ego itself but simply working with it with your willpower, your decisions.

I hope you will continue to study and discover all this inside yourself much more clearly.

Everyone Sees A Different World

423.01We all look at the world with the same eyes and see the same thing. But besides eyes, we also have a mind that depicts what we see to us. The mind is different for everyone because it serves the will to receive.

To the extent that we can add the will to bestow to it, we will see the world through the contrast of these two qualities—reception and bestowal—and then we will begin to reveal the true picture of the world.

This is the difference between people in the world because everyone is very different in their minds. Although we all have the same eyes and it seems to us that we should see the same thing, none of us sees the same picture.

After all, everything depends on the mechanism behind the eyes and behind all the other sensations: smell, hearing, speech, texts we read, that is, all the information about the world perceived by a person. All information is processed in the brain, and everyone has their own mind. This is why no one can understand one another.

The more we feel our lowliness, the more we can see. After all, this reduces our egoism and then we can better see the Creator and His bestowal to the world. It seems conflicting and contradicts ordinary perception and ordinary education.

However, the lower a person puts himself with respect to his correct perception and the more clearly he understands that he does not understand, the more he is ready to see the truth.

Not Suffering But Happiness

281.02Comment: Most people come to Kabbalah because of suffering. As we engage in Kabbalah and rise above our egoism, we begin to look at everything from a different angle.

It turns out that the suffering remains the same, we just look at it differently, but the problems do not disappear.

My Response: If you begin to consider the emerging problems not as suffering, but on the contrary, as a means of attracting you to the Creator, to the highest goal, then why treat them as suffering? These are then states that push you toward development.

But what else?! After all, you are sheer egoism. Well, how can you be nudged forward, if not by being pricked?

Comment: Although I perceive suffering differently, it still remains.

My Response: No, it doesn’t stay. You look at it differently, you have changed your point of view. Soon, instead of suffering, it will seem to you that this is not suffering but happiness. After all, it all depends on the purpose it comes for and what it ties you to.

Let’s say a person works hard and digs a deep hole, but if he earned a million dollars for this work, then this is no longer suffering. This is an opportunity to rise to the next level. But he continues, should he dig this hole? Yes, he should.

Are you looking at the condition or are you looking at the result? By studying Kabbalah, you become attached to the result and see what you are earning at the same time, what reward. You are included in the light, included in eternity, infinity, out of your narrow state. And then everything changes for you.

But is this world changing with you? Your view of it changes. You begin to understand the depth of its structure, why everything happens this way, and you justify what is happening. But the world itself does not change. And then it will change too.

Truth Or Illusion

702.02Question: What is truth and what is illusion for a Kabbalist? Is the corporeal body, for example, and the way he feels it an illusion?

Answer: There is no illusion or something that does not exist for a Kabbalist. He relates in a totally serious manner to everything that he feels, but according to his level. Part of what he felt before becomes an illusion and then it disappears completely.

It happens this way because new vessels of attainment and new feelings appear in him.

Seeing The World With The Inner Eyesight

294.3Question: In our world, humanity invented glasses that allow one to see better. What are the glasses in spirituality?

Answer: There is such a term “Sagi Nahor,” which means that a blind person can see even more. What does it mean to really see? This is when a person sees not with his eyes, but with his inner sight.

Question: What instrument helps to focus your sight on the Creator, on the upper force?

Answer: Desire! Only desire. If all our desires from each of the five different degrees, together are directed to the Creator, then we will see Him.

See The World Through Other People

423.02Question: How can we understand the expression “Look at the world not through the prism of your egoism, but through other people?”

Answer: In principle, this is how it turns out. If a person lived alone after birth or, like in a fairy tale, was fed and raised by a she-wolf, he would remain so forever. Our development takes place only in the society we find ourselves in.

Society is a lens through which I tune in to the Creator. The Creator is the property of bestowal, and if I give to other people as He does, then I seem to be in similarity of properties with Him.

There is no other method of manifesting bestowal here. “From love for creatures, to love for the Creator,” this is the only way connection is revealed.

Question: Can we say that society, all eight billion people, is a tool through which I can connect with the Creator?

Answer: Whether I like it or not, I am always connected with them and through them I go to the Creator. The Creator acts on me both through them and directly. He affects us in every way. And we can influence Him only as we unite with other people.

Thought—The All-Penetrating Force of The World

182.02Question: Why is such a paradox being revealed today that on one hand the world has become global and on the other hand, even though everyone is shouting about global problems in the field of economics, ecology, and so on, people are not interested in them. People are only interested in themselves and what will happen to them.

Answer: Can a small person grasp the entire global world? How can he feel it? This, once again, proves the correctness of the assumption that comes from Kabbalah that only the revelation of the system of global connection between us will give us the opportunity to treat each other correctly.

This little person does not clearly see that apparently he, his family, work, health, everything that surrounds him depends on the whole world. If he constantly thinks about the whole world, he still will not be able to grasp it completely. If he thinks that everyone will feel good and then he will feel good, that is enough. Our thoughts and desires act in the world. This is our most important strength.

Therefore, as soon as a person begins to understand that he depends on others and everyone depends on him, and this global, mutual dependence is directly related to his thoughts, he suddenly sees that his thought is the most penetrating force in the world, which acts regardless of distances.

Before that, he just does not feel how his thoughts are coming back to him. But if he saw the forces emanating from the thought, he would be afraid to think badly of others because he felt how much he was turning them back on himself and creating a negative cocoon around himself. So, this is our life.

Changing The Perception Of The World

197.01Question: In our world, we do not see with our eyes but with our brain. The eyes receive light and transmit it through the optic nerves to the brain, and it draws all the images. That is at least what scientists believe. And how does it work in spirituality?

Answer: In spirituality, it works not in the brain but in our desires. Desires are practically dispersed throughout the physical body and are controlled by our senses (hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch).

In addition, desires can develop, they depend on the person, and they can be controlled. In this way we can influence ourselves and other people.

In our world, we receive information through our eyes, it passes into the brain behind which there is an egocentric perception of the world. Therefore, we see only those images that our egoistic desires leave.

And the spiritual world is a world of inverse, altruistic desires. We get a completely different picture—in the reflected light, as it is called—to the extent that we can be in connection opposite to our egoism. This completely changes perception.

Question: But as long as a person lives in a biological body, even if he acquires an altruistic vision of the world, does he still continue to see everything through the five corporeal senses?

Answer: Yes, the spiritual sense is an addition to corporeal senses.
